In early celebration of my Saurondriel/Haladriel fanfic "THE TRIALS OF MAIRON" turning two years old on October 14th, I have assembled a little commemorative Visual Guide.

Most of the images in the full 16-page guide were created using prompts from the fic and an AI-image generator to get as close to what I had in my head when writing as possible. It aims to serve as a visual aid for first time and returning readers to be consulted throughout the read if so desired. As such, it contains SPOILERS for the entire fic.

Hey, look, it's a nice trail! You know what it's missing? Me, you, and maybe a few of your nature-loving friends! Let's go explore the outdoors, and I'll help you learn more about the flora, fauna, and fungi we meet along the way, as well as the vibrant ecosystems they're a part of.

The warm, sunny weather has arrived in the Pacific Northwest, and I am currently booking private guided nature tours (public scheduled tours are temporarily on hold while I work out some behind the scenes scheduling tools.) My weekends are already beginning to get busy, though I still have some availability--the sooner you book, the better! (I'm available weekdays, too--in fact, that's your best bet for booking on short notice.)

While I'm based in Portland I can travel anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. Locations will depend on permit availability; I have lots of options in the Portland and Astoria/Long Beach regions ready to book today, but I'm certainly willing to look into other options on request.
