Jason is about to have a panic attack…

He knew that he had to finish researching and confirm those 48 hours of lost memory from last year…

but nooo… I thought I put together everything that happened during that time and left a few hours here and there with only assumptions about what happened…

and now he has the consequences in front of him… on a pair of baby seats in the middle of his living room next to a pair of diaper bags with a note…

"Emergency, take care of them for time, I'll be back

Sincerely, Danny"

and there, in those pair of seats, are 2 babies, a girl and a boy, one with blue eyes and the other reddish brown, the two children had black hair… with a white strand of hair on their heads. …

Jason isn't an idiot, he did the math…and the dates fit…so now he has to face his impending fatherhood…it's time to call Alfred….

While all this is happening Danny flies through the Infinite Realms, he now has to face the idiots who think they can challenge him for the throne.

He just hopes Ellie and Dan are okay…. Well there shouldn't be any problem, he left them with one of the strongest avenging/protecting spirits on the side of the living, plus Red Hood is known for being good with children…

He only regrets not being able to explain more in the note…

Had this idea while replying to a bones prompt, that danny joins the justice league out of desperation or as a protective measure.

I've seen ideas where danny:

1. Doesnt know about the justice league because amity is cut off

2. Thinks the justice league ignores amity because its already got a hero

3. Resents the justice league for ignoring amity

4. Is grateful the justice league never showed up because they'd get overshadowed

5. Doesnt trust the justice league on the principle of being government sanctioned

6. Stright up believes the justice league supports the giw because of their inaction

But all of these hinge on the justice league acting first, instead of danny. What if danny is the one to approach the league? Maybe he wasnt going to at first, because of any of the reasons above, but lets face it, just because the league doesnt know about or is ignoring amity doesnt mean that everyone else is too.

Danny is, for good or ill, extremely fucking powerful. That alone is gonna turn a lot of heads. Gone are the days when danny's parents were the only ones targeting him. Hell, danny would consider narrowly escaping the GIW as simpler times. Put simply, there are a LOT of individuals and organizations that would be interested in danny, including, but not limited to:

- his parents

- vlad

- the observants

- the giw

- a large number of powerful ghosts

- possibly some demons

- random death cults

- dark sorcerers / anyone involved in dark magic

- lex luthor

- amanda waller / cadmus

- ra's al ghul / league of assassins

- court of owls / talons

- anyone involved in meta trafficking

- the reach

- darkseid

- other warmongering aliens

- probably plenty of others

Basically, danny is literally everyone's white whale, and he's sick of it. With all these different parties interested in danny, its kind of surprising that the justice league hasnt caught wind yet. Then again, if all of these organizations are covering their tracks, then thats like a dozen information walls erected around amity park.

(Put this way, crowning danny as the ghost king might be considered a mercy, because at least the threats that are aware that attacking him would bring the wrath of the infinite realms upon them would back off. Probably. At the very least, danny has an army to defend himself.)

Team phantom put together their brain cells and realized that with this many threats, danny's best defense is to make himself as publically visible as possible. Thus, he needs to join the justice league, get himself a (better) support system, and improve his public image. That way, if he disappears (again), someone other than sam, tucker, and jazz will actually notice.

hi, i so finish The Princess and the Outlaws

i started PATO, as the Batpham server and i have so lovingly been calling it, with half a plot and too much caffeine. i never expected people to like it as much as they did, and i certainly never expected it to get to 40k words. i'm so used to leaving projects unfinished that honestly, i almost don't know what to do with myself now that it's done.

i slowly found myself falling in love with the world and the characters, particularly Minnie (if you know you know ;) lol) and i think i want to revisit it sometime in the future after i've worked on some of the projects i put on the backburner when this took control of my mind. it was legit like crack, and i was an addict.

so, what's in store for the pato universe?

first, an Everlasting Insomniacs (aka Tim Drake/Danny Fenton/Tucker Foley/Sam Manson) fic set in the same universe. it'd be Tim trying to work out a WE deal with the Infinite Realms while the Justice League is doing the same. ideally, it'd be set in the ghost zone.

i also wanted to write a fic around Dani, Minnie, and Valerie in that universe. i was thinking about adding some Crown Princess Dani shenanigans and hopefully involving Mara al Ghul somehow (i think Mara/Dani would be so cute)

and finally, a sequel of pato itself. it would be about relationship negotiations, and all of them finding a way to make their new dynamic work, as well as family shenanigans. i don't really have a plot for this yet, so if you have anything you'd like so see, feel free to drop it in the notes.

but thank you to everyone who supported me and who watched this fic and my mania grow. you mean the world to me, and i can't wait to see what we create next.

Right so Jason totally has ghost adopted Danny’s Spawn and Danny recognizes the bond but being ghost parenting is a really confusing sort of situation where it’s like a single parent meets takes a village type style parenting. It makes poly guardianship something that just kinda happens. The only thing Danny knows is that Jason is a he, Jason is a avenger-protector spirit, and Jason is good with kids. He also already considers Jason as part of his fright, extended clan family, and calling him Uncle Jason just makes sense given his personal reality. What his babies call him can be anything and everything according to the bonds made between the two. Jason could be dad, papa, grandpa, uncle, cousin, brother, etc if that’s the guardian bond they forged. Danny isn’t part of that bond so defaulted to uncle because he could sense the dna change and watched Jason’s personality and behavior with his kids. Assuming Jason wanted to be a dad to them was overstepping in assumption but he’d change the wording if he noticed Jason wanted it to be changed.

Jason sadly is Bat raised and doesn’t communicate directly he wants to be a dad and court the kids’ other father. No not Vlad, eugh, but darling Danny 💚
