It had been a slow day. With no mission and no team meeting, Shino eventually decided to go for a walk instead of staying holed up at home with his insects. Seeing Hinata today was purely coincidental.

As she approaches, he turns to face her, hands in his pockets and eyebrows raised positively. He'll consider himself lucky that he didn't only see her, but she also decided to come talk to him today. The prior being what usually happens with friends in general. Hinata seems agitated. Strange, he hasn't seen Naruto around.

"Goo-" Shino was about to respond when she abruptly cut him off. He blinks behind his sunglasses, brows pulled in a frown - Not knowing how to react as Hinata gets closer and closer, until her face fills his entire vision field. His body freezes, his heart skips a beat, as he feels the pressure of Hinata's lips over his.... Through his collar.

He hadn't found a true reason to dislike this collar until now... The reason being, Shino really doesn't mind having Hinata as his first kiss. He wants Hinata as his first kiss! She's kind, strong, one of the only persons who listen to him when he talks... Why wouldn't he want her as his first kiss? Shino stands still, expression slacken. He watches her retreat, too many thoughts filling his head. Questions, too... But they will come later.

"Hinata. Wait." A part of him also simply wants to feel her lips, he often sees people kissing, he's wondering what it might feel like. So, Shino pulls down his collar and carefully leans down. A hand on her shoulder for guidance, his lips meet hers, this time directly. Clumsily... A bit fiercely, his teeth clacked lightly against Hinata's on the first contact. He lingers for a few seconds the way she previously did, then retreats and pulls his collar back over his face... A way to hide how he couldn't help but lick his lips after, just to know... Hinata doesn't taste bad.

"You feel soft." Shino comments casually. Her lips are officially the softest, warmest texture his lips have felt. It's quite nice. After a moment, Shino frowns, mind coming down to earth. He stares at his teammate. "Was there a reason?"

To break my silence (and because dammit, I'm proud of these lol) here's some schmoopsy Baldur's Gate stuff. Went into the game entirely blind back in October; the blue fella was thought up as my tav's partner who had passed away prior to the events of the game, and I made him the guardian character. I sure didn't dodge the wrench the game threw at me later on. :']
