The one with the Scandal

pariring: rockstar! male OC x male reader [profile]
summary: Youâre not dating him. You donât even like him like that. Heâs younger. Heâs your job. Heâs also apparently into fixing your collar, looking at you like youâre his, and letting the entire fanbase run with it. Youâre just trying to not get fired. Heâs making it really hard.
content warnings: 18+, idol/manager dynamic, bottom male reader, Jiho is younger but he is in control, reader is spiraling professionally but holding it together (barely), scandal via leaked video, yandere tendencies if you squint, oral (reader receiving), Jiho calls the reader Hyung, someone is watching. also: subtle HR violations and bad decisions made in very quiet hallways.
word count: 3.1k
White Eclipseâs manager's job description didnât include âbabysit rockstars,â but here you were at 6:47 a.m., standing outside the dorm in socks, trying to get a key card to work while someone inside was blasting what could only be described as sad trap piano.
You didnât bother knocking. They never heard it anyway.
The door opened a beat laterâJiho, hoodie half-on, eyes still sleepy, holding a toothbrush like it was a weapon.
âOh,â he said, voice rough. âThought you were food.â
You blinked. âItâs me.â
He nodded. âRight.â
Then he just⌠stepped aside to let you in.
No apology. No explanation.
You used to be surprised by things like that. Not anymore. Itâd been seven months since you took over as White Eclipseâs full-time manager. Seven months of group chats at 2 a.m., misplaced earrings, broken in-rooms, passive-aggressive silence in makeup chairs. You were barely keeping the group running. You didnât have energy left for things like normal boundaries.
Jiho wandered back down the hall. You followed, because your job required it. Not to hover, just to check the morning scheduleâradio taping, press call, one-on-one interview for Juhwan. Makeup in twenty.
âYou slept?â you asked, mostly to check.
Jiho shrugged. âEventually.â
âEat something before we go.â
He didnât answer, which usually meant no.
You sighed, already noting it down in the log.
â・°âŠÂ Â
The van ride was quiet, except for Doyun humming aggressively off-key to a song no one else liked. You were seated up front, checking your tablet, trying to remember if anyone had confirmed Jihoâs brand outfit for the shoot. You didnât hear him move until he leaned forward between the seats.
âHyung,â he said. His breath ghosted the side of your neck, too close.
You didnât flinch, but your fingers stilled.
âYes?â
âYou left your charger last time.â
He held it outâyour USB-C cable, neatly wrapped.
You blinked. âYou⌠kept it?â
He gave a half-shrug. âFigured youâd come back for it eventually.â
Then sat back like nothing happened.
You turned toward the window. The city rolled by in silence. You didnât say thank you.
You werenât sure you wanted to know what else he was keeping track of.
â・°âŠÂ Â
The radio taping was delayed by forty minutes. Not that anyone told you until you were already standing in the green room, watching the stylist re-iron Taeyangâs shirt while Juhwan paced like he was on trial.
You were half-listening to a PD explain the new segment structure when Jiho appeared beside you againâlike he always did, like gravity.
He didnât say anything. Just handed you a bottle of water.
You took it automatically.
A few seconds passed before you glanced over.
ââŚThis isnât mine,â you said.
âItâs cold,â he replied. âYou like it that way.â
You blinked, unsure how to respond to that.
He didnât stick around for a reactionâjust walked back to the couch and sat, legs crossed, earbuds in, expression unreadable as ever. Like it was nothing. Like he hadnât just said something small and specific enough to stick in your brain like a splinter.
You told yourself it was normal. He probably remembered from a post-schedule snack run. He was observant. That was all.
It didnât mean anything.
But when the boys were being ushered into the booth, he lingered again.
Waited until the others were out of earshot.
Then said, âYou looked tired yesterday.â
Your hand paused on the equipment list.
ââŚThatâs not part of your job description.â
Jiho gave a half-smile. Small. Secret.
âNeitherâs remembering your charger.â
You didnât smile back.
You wanted to.
You didnât.
â・°âŠÂ Â
That night, you stayed at the company building longer than you meant to. Not unusualâschedules had to be reshuffled, the stylists were panicking about a delivery delay, and someone had somehow misplaced two of Doyunâs in-ear backups despite the fact that youâd personally labelled them in obnoxiously bold font last week.
By the time you packed your bag, the halls were half-dark and the lights in the vocal practice room were still on.
You almost didnât look.
You almost walked straight past.
But you didnât.
Jiho was there. Again.
Seated on the floor, guitar in his lap, hoodie sleeves pushed up. His face was lit only by the screen of his phone, and he looked so relaxedâso out of uniformâthat it threw you off for a second.
He didnât see you right away. But the second you stepped into the room; his fingers stilled on the frets.
He looked up. And didnât look away.
ââŚYou live here now?â you asked dryly, trying not to let your voice give anything away.
âOnly if you do,â he said, which wasnât funny, but it made your mouth twitch anyway.
You sat on the bench near the wall, just to rest for a minute. Just to breathe.
Jiho shifted slightly, setting his guitar down.
âThey let you have solo schedules today?â he asked.
You shook your head. âTemporary probation.â
He hummed. âFor what?â
You gave him a look. âYou really want me to spell it out?â
âI want to know what they think happened.â
His tone wasnât teasing. It wasnât particularly curious, either. Just steady. Like he was testing something.
You didnât answer.
He stood slowly and crossed the room, not close, not quite, but just enough that the air changed.
âI know what I felt Hyung,â he said.
Your jaw tightened. âYou canât say stuff like that.â
âWhy not?â
âBecause Iâm your manager.â
He smiled, the kind that didnât reach his eyes.
âNot lately.â
That sat in the space between you, heavy and uncomfortable and true.
You stood up, suddenly. Bag over your shoulder. Shoes already pointed toward the door.
Jiho didnât stop you. Didnât move. Just said, quiet and sure,
âThen what are you still doing here?â
â・°âŠÂ Â
Youâre already at the studio before the sun finishes rising, two iced Americanos in hand, and neither of them are for you.
The scheduleâs stackedâtwo back-to-back interviews, followed by a commercial shoot, and then a fitting for a brand collab you only got confirmation for at midnight. You donât even realise youâve been typing out emails with your neck tilted and your jaw clenched until someone passes behind you and mutters, âHyung, youâre gonna shatter your teeth.â
Itâs Doyun.
You donât respond. Just hand him one of the coffees and tell him to finish it before makeup.
Jihoâs the last one out of the van when you arrive at the venue. Hoodie up, expression blank, one earbud in. He doesnât speak until the others have wandered off in different directions. Youâre halfway to the front doors, double-checking a logistics note, when he suddenly says behind you, âYou forgot your charger... again.â
You stop walking.
âI didnât.â
He holds it up anyway. Neatly wrapped. Slightly warm, like he kept it in his pocket.
âDonât leave your stuff around if you donât want me touching it,â he adds.
Itâs not flirtatious. Not playful.
Just a little⌠too direct.
You take it from him without meeting his eyes.
By the time the day wraps, youâve been on your feet for nearly eleven hours, youâre starving, and youâve answered the same three questions from the same sponsor rep three separate times.
Youâre in the back hallway finishing a call when the door beside you creaks open.
Jiho again.
Of course.
He doesnât say anything. Just leans against the wall next to you, close enough that your shoulders almost touch.
âIs there a reason youâve been following me around like a ghost today?â you ask, keeping your voice flat.
âMaybe.â
You roll your eyes. âYouâre not subtle.â
âIâm not trying to be.â
Thereâs a beat of silence between you.
âYou know theyâre already watching,â you say quietly. âEven if nothing happens.â
He shrugs. âThen let them.â
You stare straight ahead. If you look at him now, you might say something you canât take back.
He leaves without another word.
â・°âŠÂ Â
It starts the next morning, before youâre even fully awake.
Your phone lights up with a buzz sharp enough to break through sleep, and the notification preview makes your blood run cold.
You donât open it at first.
You already know what it is.
You sit up in bed, screen half-lit, and there it is:
A video.
Low-res, muted, zoomed in from somewhere behind the practice room window.
You, standing in front of Jiho.
Him, fixing your collar like heâs done it a hundred times before.
You, frozen.
Him, looking at you like no one else exists.
WHO is that? he looks like STAFF??? Thatâs the manager hyung. Iâve seen him in airport vids. Theyâre so domestic, what the hell đđ The way he looks at him, oh my god, heâs SO GONE idc if itâs fake, this is the best ship in K-pop rn
Itâs only ten seconds.
But thatâs all it takes.
You canât breathe.
The DMs are already coming in. Three calls from PR. One from someone in legal. Your group chat with the other managers is blowing up, and your name is already trending.
You close the app.
Open your notes app.
Start typing an apology that no oneâs asked for yet.
Jiho.
Then you stop.
Because your phone buzzes again.
A single text.
[ come up to the roof.]
You stare at it.
Ignore it.
Then, against your better judgment, you go.
â・°âŠÂ Â
The rooftop is quieter than you remember.
Itâs probably not even technically accessibleâsome intern left the door propped open during a late-night smoke break once, and now everyone pretends itâs still locked. You used to come up here alone. That was before. Before the video. Before the call from PR. Before your name started appearing in the trending bar.
Now Jihoâs already here, hoodie sleeves bunched up to his elbows, fingers curled around a can of grape soda thatâs starting to sweat through the aluminium. He looks like he hasnât moved in an hour. Like this isnât the first time heâs sat here, waiting for you.
You shut the door behind you.
He doesnât turn to look at you immediately. Just nods toward the railing beside him.
You donât sit.
âYou saw it?â you ask.
He hums in response. Youâre not sure if thatâs a yes or a who hasnât?
âYouâre not panicking.â
He finally turns. Thereâs no smile. No bite. Just his usual unreadable calm.
âShould I be?â
You almost laugh, sharp and humourless. âThis isnât a joke.â
âI know.â
He tosses the soda can into the nearby bin without looking. Deadcentrer.
You cross your arms. âTheyâre going to kill this. Quietly. Iâm already off the schedule for next week.â
âI noticed.â
You expect a flicker of regret. Frustration. Some trace of guilt.
You get none.
Instead, Jiho steps closerânot aggressive, just deliberate. Thereâs no camera up here. No PR team. No lighting cues or stylists, or handlers. Just him. Just you.
âThey think weâre together,â he says, voice low.
You donât answer.
âMaybe we should be.â
You look away. âDonât do this.â
âDo what, Hyung?â
âSay things you canât take back.â
Heâs close enough now that you can feel the warmth from his bodyâhis chest rising slowly, steadily. He doesnât try to touch you. That would be too easy. Too obvious. Instead, he just stands there like gravity, like inevitability.
âIâve been waiting for something to break,â he says, quieter now. âI just didnât think itâd be a ten-second clip.â
You inhale through your nose. Try to stay steady.
âIâm older than you,â you say.
âSo?â
âIâm your manager.â
He leans inânot touching, not yet.
âNot today.â
The silence between you hangs, taut and electric.
Then you walk away.
You donât run.
But you donât look back.
â・°âŠÂ Â
You donât answer his messages after that.
Not because you donât want to. You just donât trust yourself to say something that wonât get screenshotted and sent to HR. You spend the rest of the day buried in logisticsâflipping through updated schedules, emailing photographers, pretending your phone isnât buzzing every hour with a new article, a new fan edit, a new speculative thread. You donât see Jiho for the rest of the day, and you let yourself believe maybe that rooftop conversation didnât mean anything.
Then he shows up at your apartment.
Itâs lateâpast midnight. Youâre wearing an old shirt and mismatched socks, half-asleep, when the intercom buzzes. You think itâs a food delivery at first. You didnât order anything. But when you answer, all you hear isâ
âHyungâ Itâs me.â
You donât open the door right away. You hesitate. Long enough to consider what this will mean if you do.
But when you finally unlock it, heâs standing there. Hoodie off. Cap gone. Just Jihoâhis real face, glasses slightly fogged from the night air. He looks calm. Like heâs been here before.
You donât ask him why he came. You donât need to.
He steps inside like heâs done it before, like this is normalâ hoodie slung over one shoulder, hair pushed back messily from his face. He looks like he belongs here, even though youâve never invited him in, not really. You tell yourself youâre only letting this happen because youâre exhausted. Because thereâs no one else around. Because youâve already been dragged into the narrative, so whatâs one more mistake?
But you know better.
You always have.
You lock the door behind him and turn to find him watching you like heâs memorising something.
âYou always leave it open when youâre nervous,â he says.
You blink. âWhat?â
âThe collar. You donât button the top one. You fidget with it when youâre trying not to look at me.â
You donât say anything. Thereâs nothing to say.
Jiho walks past youâthrough the short hallway, into the living room, casual like heâs heading for the kitchen. He doesnât. He stops at the edge of the couch and looks back.
âYou gonna keep pretending?â
You cross your arms defensively. âPretending what?â
âThat you donât want me to stay.â
That lands harder than you expect. Not because heâs wrong. But because youâve been trying so hard to keep that exact thing from showing on your face for weeks.
And maybe you havenât been as successful as you thought.
When you donât answer, he turns fully. Walks up to you slowly, deliberately, until the heat from his body reaches your chest and you have nowhere else to go.
He touches the collar of your shirt. Just the fabric. No skin. Yet.
âYou should stop wearing this,â he murmurs.
âWhy?â
âBecause I want to take it off.â
Your breath catches. He hears it. You know he does.
Then, carefully, he undoes the top button. Then the next. You donât stop him.
âYouâre shaking,â he says softly.
You didnât even realize.
âIâJiho, this isââ
âToo late.â
He steps forward. Presses his mouth to yoursâonce, slow and sure. He doesnât rush it. Doesnât push. But thereâs heat behind it. Control. Like heâs waited long enough, and heâs not going to let you talk your way out of it now.
You kiss him back.
â・°âŠÂ Â
He leads you to the bedroom without speaking, only touching you where he needs toâyour wrist, your hip, the small of your back. You sit on the edge of the bed, and he kneels without hesitation, hands sliding up your thighs, eyes locked on yours.
âYou donât have to say anything,â he tells you. âBut you donât get to lie to me either.â
You nod.
Thatâs all he needs.
Jiho peels your pants down with practised fingers, pushing them past your hips, then your briefs. Youâre already half-hard, pulse thudding like your bodyâs already a step ahead of your thoughts.
He leans in. Licks a slow stripe up the underside of your cock.
Your hands twitch at your sides. You donât touch him. Not yet.
He doesnât look up when he takes you into his mouth. Just sinks down, slow and steady, jaw relaxed like heâs done this a dozen timesâmaybe not for anyone else, but in his head, youâre sure heâs thought about it. Over and over.
His tongue presses firmly along the base. His lips seal around you, and he moansâsoft, like itâs for him, not you. The vibration makes your knees buckle.
He takes his time. Pulls off to suck at the head, just enough to make you gasp. Then down againâdeeper, sloppier now, until your cock hits the back of his throat and he still doesnât stop.
You manage his name. Once. Barely.
His hands grip your thighs, firm and steady, keeping you in place. He sucks you down again and again, never breaking eye contact, never faltering. He wants you to watch. To know exactly how far heâs willing to go.
When you start to lose controlâhips stuttering, breath slippingâhe only tightens his hold and hums around you again. That pushes you over.
You come with a choked breath, your hand in his hair, every nerve lit up. He doesnât pull back. Doesnât spill a drop.
When itâs done, when your heartâs still racing and your fingers are trembling, he wipes his mouth with the back of his hand like itâs nothing.
Then he leans in again, not to kiss you, but just to speak.
Voice low. Calm. Possessive.
âNext time,â he murmurs, âyouâre going to beg for it.â
â・°âŠÂ Â
You wake up before your alarm.
The light in your bedroom is pale, soft, barely filtered through your blinds. The air is cool against your skin, your sheets kicked halfway off the bed, your body still aching in that strange, satisfying way. Not sore. Just⌠used. Thoroughly.
Jiho is still asleep beside you.
His hand is curled against the pillow, palm up, fingers relaxed like he has nothing left to chase. His mouth is parted slightly. His hairâs a mess. One leg is tangled with yours beneath the blanket.
You lie there for a moment, still and quiet.
You donât know what time he fell asleep. You donât know if he meant to stay. You donât even know if he thinks this was a one-time thing or the start of something. You should care.
You do care.
You just donât know what to do with it yet.
Eventually, you get up. Carefully. Quietly.
You donât leave the room, just stand near the doorway, shirt half-on, trying to figure out what youâre supposed to feel. It doesnât feel like a victory. Or relief. It just feels inevitable.
You reach for your phone out of habit. Youâve got two unread messages.
One from your replacement manager, asking if youâre available for a rescheduled meeting later in the week.
And one from an unknown number.
[hope you enjoyed last night. This is just the beginning.]
No context. No name. But your stomach drops anyway.
You read it again.
And again.
Behind you, Jiho shifts in the sheets.
You donât turn around.
Not yet.

Imagine daisy-chaining a series of more and more unsafe adapters into your port. From high-end date transfer, to USB, to a Fiberwire, to a chunky coax cable, down and down in complexity and speed until you get hooked up to a punch card reader. Putting the punch card being entered, the simple simple commands increasing in importance as it travels up the chain, until the formerly complex machine can keep only a single command in its massive CPU.

Down the Rabbit Hole - Five Chapters - 20k words - Yandere Shigaraki Tomura x Rabbit Quirk Female Reader
Chapter Navigation: 1|2|3|4|5 đ Ao3 Mirror

Rating: 18+ readers only - Minors DNI
Whole story TW: Noncon, yandere with kidnapping, severe quirk based discrimination, binge drinking, canon typical threats of violence (reader directed), canon typical death (nonreader directed), oral (give/receive), PnV (doggie), breeding, and expensive designer clothing everywhere.

Chapter 3: Choice - 4.1k words
TW: Oral (giving), mentions of quirk discrimination, non-con in entertainment media, and sexual harassment

At exactly 1:56 PM, you turned the corner from the main street onto a wide, concrete alley. Low, overcast ceilings hovered down around tall, glossy buildings. Vermillion hues, a product of human smog more than mother nature, washed the bottom of the clouds. From below the eaves of a grey high rise, a pair of narrow eyes, the same color as the sky, glared at you.
Shigaraki kicked off the hard wall, scratching his neck. âArenât you supposed to say something like: âSorry, did I keep you waiting?ââ
You hiked your bow-studded messenger back over your shoulder and sauntered to his side. Wrapping your hands around his arm, you smirked at him. âWhy? Iâm not sorry and I didnât keep you waiting.â
Tomura stiffened. âWhat are you doing?!âÂ
Huh⌠That reaction? At his age? Guess his mentor sent him to the hostess bar for a good reason.
You clamped down on him and sneered. âItâs 13°C and Iâm in yoga pants. Shut up and be grateful for the view.â
Shigarakiâs gaze raked over your outfit. Tactically unzipped to the perfect level, the oversized hoodie gaped open to reveal a grey, ribbed tank almost as touchable as your ears. Its plunging neckline promised more cleavage than it delivered but the way it hugged your tits more than made up for the tease. The yoga pants in question smoothed your thighs and butt into sculpted perfection. Chunky, black sneakers with rhinestone accents added a girlish kick to the casual clothing. Taking a page from Lola Bunny, you wrapped your lop ears high on your head in a velvet bow.
âHot, right?" you taunted. "It's too bad the club has a formal dress code. I think I causal-up really cute."
He scoffed.
You tugged his arm. "Third floor. Come on."
You dragged your date across the bland, grimey tile and past the money exchange service. A short ride up the cramped elevator carried you to the third floor. The bright, blue and red sign proclaimed â24 hours/365 days a yearâ. Beyond fingerprint-pocked glass doors lay the hidden depths of âMyStyle Manga Cafeâ. You strolled in and dug your membership card out of your bag.Â
âI have a reservation for the VIP flatbed pair suite.â
The balding middle age manager scanned your card before handing you a ticket. âRoom ten, just next to the copier. Payment is due when you leave.â
You nodded, tugging your victim's arm. Cherry flavored lips brushed against his ear. âI got the one with the locking door. It costs a little more, but you donât mind paying for the upgrade, right, Tomura?"
Your date inhaled as if heâd been shot in the leg.Â
Oh. This was going to be fun.
Only about eight steps from the check-in desk, room ten was a cramped space, barely big enough for two adults. You flopped onto the thick, black floor pads and shoved the foam-stuffed pillow chair aside. The lock clicked from behind. New weight shifted the mat beside you. You rifled through your bag, humming the âitem getâ tune from Zelda as you produced a cheap USB drive. Within seconds, a pop colored menu burst to life on the computer screen.
âAnimal Attraction: Tails of Love!â five different girls cried out from the crackling speakers.
Red eyes narrowed. âWhat is that?â
âYou wanted the real me, right? Today, extra special for your royal pain-in-my-tail, Iâm giving you the side I donât show clients.â You held out a pair of cheap, padded headphones to him and flashed him a crooked smile. âChase the cat girl, and I will claw your eyes out.â
A few hours later, a fluffy, white haired girl with blazing red eyes and tall rabbit ears stood at the back of an empty lecture hall. She picked at the heart shaped buttons of her pink sundress, refusing to look the player in the eye.
âThe truth is⌠the professor makes me feel uncomfortable,â she explained, shifting nervously in her strappy sandals.' âWhy? Did he do something?â the player replied. She shook her head. âNo. Not really. I mean, maybe Iâm just imagining it but it just feels wrong. It makes my hair prickle and my stomach hurt when Iâm around him.â Fat tears welled at her pale lash line. âHe asked me to go to his office hours today to discuss my grades but I... I just⌠I donât know. I canât put it into words.â
Choice:
Calm down. Youâre just imagining things.
Your grades are fine, right? Just skip the office hours.
If he makes you uncomfortable, Iâll go with you.
Tomura clicked option 3.
âOh no!â she protested. âHe hasnât done anything. I swear.â Chewing her soft lips, she began to shake. She forced a smile. âAnyway, Iâm sure Iâm just being stupid. Iâm sorry to have worried you over nothing.â As she turned to bolt, the player grabbed her arm. 'Donât say that about yourself! Youâre not stupid!' Hard teeth bit quivering lips. Her nostrils flared. All at once her beautiful face contorted into pure pain. The camera panned high. A detailed CG filled the screen. Crumpled into her thighs, the heroine wailed at the top of her lungs. âI know Iâm not! Everyone thinks I am just because Iâm a bunny girl!â she shrieked, grabbing at her ears. âIâm so sick of it. Day in, day out itâs âSmile for me sweetie. Youâre so much prettier when you smileâ and âwow⌠isnât a bachelorâs degree kinda hard for you?â and âYou want to join our club? No problem. Why donât you grab us some drinks and you can sit here so everyone can see you?â' Twin fists slammed hard against the tile. âIâM A PERSON, NOT A MASCOT.â The player kneeled beside her, their hand hovering for a moment before they pulled it away. âThat sounds rough.â âIt is rough,â she agreed, fumbling for her abandoned purse. The player held out their hand towel. âHere.â Watery eyes stared up at the player. âLook,â the player continued. âYou really arenât stupid. If you say something is wrong then something is wrong. Even if you donât want me to come, donât go by yourself.â She took the towel with a bright smile and shook her head. âNo. I want you.â Red eyes slipped shut as she buried her nose in the terry cloth. âI trust you, Tomura.â
Beside you on the floor, the real Tomura sneered. â100% guarantee the professor is a perv.â
You hummed, resting your head on his shoulder.Â
His body went rigid.
âSomething wrong?â
He coughed, tilting his legs so that his lap remained hidden. âItâs a pretty lame plot device. She should just drop-kick him through a window. Problem solved.â
You clicked your tongue. âItâs not that easy. Sheâs a senior in college and he manages her internship. If she makes him mad, her chances for getting a reference go up in flames.â
Boney fingers raked his neck. âThatâs a load of crap.â
âBut realistic,â you argued with a finger wag. âDespite being an indie project, the game got really good reviews specifically because the bunny girl route was such a realistic portrayal of sexual harassment.â A dark shadow filled your face. âThough there were some complaints.â
âSuch as?â
Your eye twitched. âApparently, the bad end wasnât bad enough. If the player tells her to calm down, she quits school and leaves town, never to contact them again. Several reviewers insisted the professor should have on-camera raped her to really drive the point home that sexual harassment is bad.â
â...so they wanted to watch her get raped so they could whine about how rape is bad?â
âYup,â you explained, flipping down onto the mat.
âThatâs stupid.â
You laughed. âI know, right?! You need to just own your kink at that point! Donât pretend you donât like it just to feel morally superior.âÂ
âYou wrote this, didnât you?â
âOh no, no, no. I wrote AND coded it.â You slapped the computer and pointed to your head. âThereâs more than good hair between these ears.â
âGood hair or good hare?â
âHares are not the same as rabbits,â you reminded him.
Tomura snorted. âOkay. Okay. I got it.â
âYou better!â You shoved his shoulder. âI have no interest in stupid guys.â
He stared down his nose at you. âSo why play dumb yourself?â
âNo matter what they claim, people have expectations based on appearances,â you muttered with a frown. âA hostess is selling a fantasy. Turns out customers donât fantasize about smart bunny babes.â
âThey should.â
You flashed him a coy grin. âAre you saying Iâm not so boring now?â
He scoffed and turned his head, but you caught the pink tinge at the tip of his ears. You hummed knowingly. He scowled and pointed at the screen.
âWhy even work as a hostess if you can do this? Was the pay crap or something?â
"No one wanted me."
Tomura raised a peeling brow. "Huh?"
"Well, not for my brains anyway," you huffed, crossing your arms. "One look at my bunny ears and suddenly everything on my resume might as well have read, 'S class whore'. Women whispered behind my back and men kept staring at my tits. No one bothered to hear what I had to say."
Tomura glanced back at the screen. Shining with tears, the bunny girl in the game peered at him from above her declaration of affection. His eyes rolled back to you. "So when did you make the game?"
"College, during my internship." You scowled. "Didn't go so well in the end either."
"The professor?"
You shook your head. "Two 'friends'. One kept demanding I write stuff about heat cycles in the bunny girl route to 'spice it up'. Bunnies don't have heat cycles. They have receptive periods. I tried to explain and he told me I was just being nit picky."
"Receptive periods?"
"Bunnies and cats are induced ovulators, meaning mating causes ovulation. Cats go through a period where they are super horny called a heat. They'd bang anything," you explained, jabbing a finger at the screen. "Female bunnies just become more tolerant of mating for a few days a month called a receptive period. They donât crave it. It's totally different!"
"And outside that period they claw your eyes out?" he teased.
"Google it if you're so curious."
"So what happened with the other 'friend'?"
âHe backed me⌠At least until I told he figured out I wasnât just a pussy-machine that you put kindness coins in until it dispensed sex. Then he sided with the other guy.â You pulled your knees to your chin. âI donât like shallow guys like that, so it wasnât much of a loss.â
Dry lips pinched into a thin line.Â
A mischievous glint sparked in your eye. âAw⌠not going to ask me what type of guy I do like?â
He scratched his neck, turning back to the game.Â
âNow whoâs boring,â you muttered, pressing your cheek to his boney shoulder.
Mechanically, Tomura tapped through the dialogue line by line until the two characters reached the professorâs office. The love interest knocked twice and fixed her companion with a nervous smile before slipping inside. Listening at the door, the player was privy to only half the words shared between the two.
â...concerned for you⌠Your grades are...â â...doing my best!â â...under a lot of stress.â
Chapped lips quirked into a cruel smile. âBad flag.â
âProfessor! What are you doing!â â...calm down. Just let meââ âNo!â THUD.
Tomura whistled. âThat escalated quickly.â
You winced at the choices. âThis is one of the parts where we got into a debate about the âtrue endingâ.â
Choice:
Open the door
Make some noise
Leave. This is not your job.
He tapped the quick save in the top corner. âTwo arbitrary choices and an obvious bad end? Pretty typical to me.â He clicked the first option.
The door knob refused to budge.
He save-scummed and clicked the second option.
No one inside the room heard a word.
âOh.â
You crossed your arms. âThe other developers thought the best way to win her heart was to go all âhero to the rescueâ. However, if you were to do that, she wonât get a reference for a job.âÂ
Red eyes shifted from you to the screen. With two taps, he quick-loaded the choice again. âDonât be heroic, huh?â He sneered. âI like it.âÂ
Tomura tapped the last box.Â
The player headed down the hallway, and around the corner. One screen shake later, they found themselves face first in the Dean of Studentsâ chest. Armed with an authority figure and a set of skeleton keys, the player returned to the scene of the crime. âYou lead me on, you little slut!â âNo! I swear I didnâtââ âYou want to pass this class, right?â âPlease donât!â âShut up and justââ The Dean shoved his keys into the lock before throwing open the door. âWhat on earth is going on here?!â Within seconds, the love interest threw herself into the playerâs chest. âT-Tomura. Iâm so glad youâre here!â
âWork smarter, not harder,â you cheered.
âChccâŚâ Brittle nails raked his scabbed neck as he clicked into the next scene.Â
Down a long, winding side street, the player walked their love interest back to her home. When they reached the gate, she paused for a moment, digging her toe into the chipping sidewalk. Orange light streamed through the fluffy purple clouds. She tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, glancing at the player from under long lashes. "You walked me so far just so I wouldn't be scared." A warm flush flittered over her button nose. "Would you⌠would you like to come in for a snack before you go home?"
Choice:
I'm not hungry.
Sure.
A manicured hand slapped Tomura on the back so hard he jolted forward. Your claws pointed to the second choice as you cheered. "GET SOME, PLAYER!"
Tomura stuck his pinky in his ear, jiggling it to clear out the ringing noise. "Could you be a little more loud?!" he muttered, selecting the latter option.
You hummed and rolled your eyes.
On screen, the player followed their love interest up a short flight of stairs to a violently feminine bedroom. Pink polka dots and chubby cartoon carrots splattered the bedspread like some sort of kawaii-pox. Impractically sheer curtains provided no privacy from the tall windows. Taking a seat on the heart-studded floor cushions, the player listened as nervous rambling poured from their love interestâs lips. ââcould get you some tea if you want? You know, like green tea? You like green tea right? Oh, wait, you might prefer barley⌠Do you? I donât know if I have barley but I could go get some really quick from the convenience storâ er⌠oh⌠but thatâd be rude to leave you alone since there isnât anyone here right now.â She flushed pink from head to toe, furiously waving her hands. âNot that I planned it like that or anything! I mean⌠well⌠maybe I did but it wasnât for that reason, I swear! I just have something to tell you and it was too embarrassing to say in front of people. Oh crap! No wait! No! I mean, Iâm not embarrassed by you or anything! I-Iâm just not confident in myself!â She melted into her palms, steam pouring from her ears. âOhmigosh what am I even saying?!â Confused silence was her only reply. A low thumping vibrated from the speakers. The girl quickly gripped her long leg, forcing it to stop tapping the ground. Red eyes looked everywhere but on the screen. Glossy lips trembled. âI⌠Iâm in love with you!â she blurted out, clipping the old speakers.
Choice:
I love you too
I prefer cat girls
The mouse hovered over the second option for a moment.Â
âYouâre horrible!â you laughed, elbowing him in the rib.
He sneered at you before clicking the first line.
âTomura⌠Can I⌠Could I kiss you?â
A gentle pop smack popped from the speakers.
âM-maybe⌠just one more?â
Small tongue clicks matched with a well timed lip bite, kept the IRL Tomuraâs eyes glued to the screen. You reached for your purse.
âOne more?â she begged, her voice raspy with need.
Tomura shifted, tugging at his pants. The back of your hand grazed his thigh. He didnât budge. Satisfaction filled your stomach. You leaned in for the kill.
On screen, an erotic CG filled the screen complete with a covert cleavage shot and animated drool pooling at the corner of plush lips. Wet sucking noises split the needy whining. âAh⌠Tomura⌠I feel so hot.â
âAh⌠Tomura⌠I feel so hot.â
Your prey jolted as dual bunny girls echoed in his ears. His head snapped to you. You smirked at him and cupped his thigh.Â
His breath hitched.Â
Peering at him from below your lashes, you shuffled to your knees.
âWhatââ he gulped, leaning away ââare you doing?â
Your moist tongue flicked out, tasting your cherry lip balm. âThat depends.â
Red eyes flashed to your lips. âOn what?â
You chuckled, angling your chest until your top gaped open. Manicured nails dragged down bare skin into the valley between your breasts. âHow much do you want?â
âHow much of what?â
A fake, high pitched giggle rapidly devolved into a sensual sigh. Your lips grazed his ear. Warm breath tickled his cheek. âOf the truth?â
The mouse hit the floor mat with a soft pap.
âLike all truths, thereâs a pretty part and an ugly part.â Walking your fingers up his thigh, you pressed onward with your tease. âThe pretty part is I always wanted to try something like this with my boyfriend.â With a nod to the computer screen, you nuzzled baby blue locks from the edge of his jaw. âBut of all the guys Iâve dated, you're the only one I know is nasty enough to be down for it.â
You snapped the button on his jeans open. He groaned.
âNeh. Tomura. You know that hostesses can get fired if they sleep with their clients, right?âÂ
His zipper fell. Your hand slipped below his elastic band. Warm sweat beaded in the pile of wiry, pale curls. You combed lower. Something firm jumped at your touch.
âAfter all, men pay for the chase. If they catch you, they have no reason to come back. No club wants a hostess that loses clients.â
Tomuraâs eyes lulled into his lids as you wormed your way down the shaft. More on instinct than rationale, he leaned into the cushion behind him and arched his hips. Little by little you wiggled him loose from the confines of stretch denim and into the cool air. Musky arousal left a sticky trail up your palm.
âBut the ugly truth is I donât want you to come back. You cause too much trouble, crusty boy.â
Crinkling foil caused his eyes to drift open. You wagged the pink rubber in front of his face, before lowering it to his weeping, red head. Gripping his thigh for balance, you leaned down and wrapped your mouth over the strawberry flavored plastic. You tongued it down his shaft. He gasped.
âLook at me when Iâm talking to you, Tomura.â
He squinted down at you through watery eyes.
With a smirk, you nodded to the screen. âKeep going.â
Click.
âT-tomura⌠Ah! Wait! When you touch me like that Iâ!â
Keeping your lips tucked over your teeth, you teased down with pressure, making him fight you just enough to squeeze into your mouth. One hand cupped his shaft as your fingers made a firm ring. The other slipped lower, gently threading his balls between your rolling digits.Â
He moaned, closing his eyes.Â
You popped off his cock, giving him a long stroke. âKeep going.â
Click.
âAh⌠Your tongue! Hah⌠so wet. **gulp** Itâs so different from when Iâ ngnn!â
You tugged his shirt and caught his gaze. Your tongue fanned wide, taking a languid taste of artificial strawberry. Saliva pooled at the tip before dripping onto him. With rapt attention, he watched the droplet wind its way between every crease of the condom. When it bulged over the rolled rim, his cock throbbed against your mouth.
Click.
ââfeels so hot.â
You plunged down over his length, sucking in your cheeks.
Click.
âM-my brain is kinda⌠ahhhhh⌠mu-shyâŚâ
Angling him for mid-throat, you pressed on until coarse hair tickled your nose.
Click.
âJust like that! Ohmigosh Tomura I needââ
Who knew crusty boy was packing a good cock? Not some hentai-worthy pussy destroyer or anything but the curve would have been nice to ride. Too bad the girth made your jaw ache.Â
Click.
âTomura. Oh, Tomura. Right there! Please. Hah. S-so close.â
She wasnât the only one. Half of Tomuraâs hand clamped down on your skull. Sharp nails pricked your scalp as he curled most of his fingers into your hair. Insistent tugs set a punishing pace. Your neck burned. Salty snot dripped from your nose. A stream of garbled cuss words slipped from his lips.
Click.
ââgonna! Mmmm gonnaâ!â
As the screen flashed white, Tomura stuffed you into his crotch. His swollen head pressed hard into your tender throat. You gagged. He groaned. Cum-filled condom ballooned at the back of your tongue. You jerked your head to the side, trying to free yourself.
He ripped his hand away. âDonât do that!â he snapped.
Hacking into your fist, you glared at him. âThen d-coughcough-nât choke me, moron!â
Beady eyes narrowed. He grabbed your shoulder and wrapped his legs around your thigh. The world flipped. Your head collided with the hard mat. Vision spinning, you coughed again through painful tears. Tomura snatched up the torn wrapper, dangling it over your chest.
âWatch,â he commanded.
One at a time, he brought his fingers down onto the pink foil. After four exaggerated pinches, nothing appeared to change. You opened your mouth to tell him off just as all five fingers touched the packet. All at once, dry ash fluttered through the air. Your heart slammed against your ribs.
Welp, that explained why he seemed so touch starved.
âUnderstand now?!â His hard fist smacked the padding beside your head. âI could have killed you, idiot!â
Between a tight throat and breathless lungs, no words could escape. Ice snaked through your veins. For the first time in a long time, terror rippled across your skin like a shock from a cattle prod. You swallowed, sniffing back tears.
With a deep breath, Tomura rolled off of you and shuffled away. He picked at the drooping plastic like a child picks at bell peppers. Cracking lips pouted. âHow do I get this thing off?â
âO-ohâŚâ You shoved off the mat and kneeled beside him. âHere. Let meââ
When your hand bumped his, every hair on your body prickled.
He pulled his arm away and averted his gaze. âWhatever. Donât force yourself.
You grunted before lunging for his lap. One hand caught his jaw. The other circled his now drooping cock. You pressed a quick kiss to his cheek before turning him to watch.
âNot uh. Not until you understand.â
Centimeter by centimeter, you carefully dragged the condom free. Your fingers brushed his weeping tip. It jumped from the contact. The hand on his face trailed down his chest, following every dip until it bumped its twin. Three deft twists and a tight knot secured the payload. You swung it back and forth from your fingers and fixed him with a sultry grin.
âDonât tell a professional how to do her job,â you warned.Â
Tossing the condom over your shoulder, you wrenched his face to yours and locked him in a blazing kiss. His eyes bulged. Your knee slipped between his as your tongue dove through his defenses. Nip after nip, you coaxed him into your clutches.Â
A low groan vibrated from his chest. His hands slid up your hips. The hair on your neck prickled. You ignored it, pressing slow, sensual affections deep into his skin. A whiff of your perfume slipped by your nose. Something twitched against your pants. Your toothy grin pricked his chapped lips.Â
Got him.
Careful to peel away rather than pull, you scooped up your bag and the evidence of your little ploy. Through heaving pants, he shot you a pointed look. You nodded to the computer clock. It read a quarter to nine.
âI have another arrangement at nine thirty, so I have to get dressed. Make sure you clear out by midnight or theyâll charge you extra.â You nudged his now swollen cock with the tip of your toe. He shivered. Manicured nails clacked on the door handle. âHope the rest of your night is less boringââ You flashed him a wink. ââTomura. â¤â
You swung your hips and strutted away.
Violent curses chased you down the hall.

The #ShittyCameraChallenge and the Olympus Camedia C-3030, 05 July 2023
Infrared and channel swapping with the Olympus Camedia C-3030.
Much to my better judgement I ordered a couple of shitty cameras recently. One was an Olympus Camedia C-3030, a 3,3MP wonder released in January 2000. Apparently it has some muck in the battery chamber and wonât connect to USB. However, it does work (and thatâs the main thing). It uses SmartMedia cards and the package includes a couple of these. Fortunately I have a card reader that will readâŚ

Also, those large PCs usually have the space for things like additional storage, blu-ray/dvd/cd players, card readers, usb/hdmi/sound/video/whatever ports, additional graphics card, additional ram, etc. etc. If your PC doesn't have some bit of hardware, chances are there is space to add whatever is missing.
From what I hear, you're lucky if your Apple computer has more than one usb-c port.
Also also, more space means less issues with cooling.
Apple propaganda notwithstanding, the reason tower PCs are big isnât because theyâre outdated. The reason tower PCs are so bulky is because theyâre designed to be user serviceable. The case has lots of open space so your big, meaty hands can easily access all of the components, and everything is secured with friction-fit tabs and standard machine screws to minimise the need for specialised tools. A properly laid out tower PC is fully serviceable with a single Phillips-head screwdriver and no greater manual skill than your average Lego playset â heck, for some of the more modern case layouts you donât even need the screwdriver, unless youâre performing major surgery like a full motherboard replacement.
Like, think about who benefits from convincing you that a fully modular computing device that can be serviced and repaired with your bare hands and minimal technical skill is unfashionable.
