Every time I tie my hair super tight or something, i remember that scene from when Shimizu told Asahi that it's not good for his hair and that he'll go bald if ties them so tightly (or something along similar lines)
And then Asahi wears a hairband
So I loosen my ponytail a bit, smile about having remembered that scene, and how I feel towards Haikyuu and my lovely characters, and it feels good
....
Also I went and saw the Haikyuu movie, FINALLY.
And it was good, Loved it. Except the part where there were these two guys sitting in front of me and throughout the movie they kept blabbering away, very. Very. Loudly. Imagine I'm looking at Kenma's pov and these guys just...kept talking away explaining what's going on to each other and cracking jokes at that😭😭😭. I honestly felt like kicking their seats at least three times out of frustrations but didn't.
Back here
Loved the movie, but it just didn't feel enough. Maybe it's because we've been watching it in a series format and it's so well detailed and prolonged in that format. The movie felt short and I crave for moreeee. And i don't know when the next movie will come by😭.
The movie was well executed, but to me, my major complaint is just that, it wasn't enough. Because you see, We've been waiting for this match, For a long long time. And for it to end away so soon, felt like I missed some things.
But it's okay, i still loved it.
Kenma's personality really switched up in this one, hehe. I WANNA WATCH IT AGAIN, I miss them. Tsukki and Kurou bickering away politely, their chants, Bokuto and Aakashi in the background, Hinata and Kenma, Kageyama cutting off Hinata yet again while greeting Kenma, Daichi and Kurou, Suga san being the amazing hype man he is, Coach Ukai in the hospital going in for a handshake like he could feel that he's in the field, and so much moreeeee.
No spoilers from manga please.
Looking forward to the next launch.
I just really love them all. Truly. My absolute warmth.
Haikyuu isn't just a sports anime, it's literally so much more. And for me, it'll always be something that pulled me out of dark times, and I'm always going to be thankful for that. For the love and support these amazing characters bring me from their own journey, from their own ways. Thankyou. You have a place in my heart, a home.
So yesss, watch Haikyuu guys. And just, trust me, you'll love it.

The lack of Ukai & Kageyama fics is astounding and bothersome. I think I’ve said this before, but I will say it again.
I desperately need to see the reluctant grumpy man who has no idea how to parent, look after the lonely teenager who goes from sitting nervously sitting at the edge of the couch to looking forward to watching a movie and cuddled up against him.

Turn Around, When Possible Reading Guide
A few months ago, I finished posting “Turn Around, When Possible” the first part of my Haikyuu fanfiction series called “There’s No Navigation That Tells You How To Survive A Car Crash” on AO3.
Back when I posted it, I left a reading guide in the comments on that final chapter, but I’m going to transfer it to Tumblr, because I think that’ll be more organized.
So from now on, you’ll be able to find the storylines of each single character, in case you’re interested in reading only their storyline.

For the people who haven’t stumbled past this post because of the link in my AO3 end-note. Hi! I welcome you to read the summary of “Turn Around, When Possible”:
It starts out like a fun idea: the Karasuno Volleyball Club traveling South to meet their rival teams for a training camp in Tokyo. Having full faith in their bus driver, Takeda, the team dozes off during the long drive. They’ve been driving through the woods for hours now, after all, and it’s already gotten dark.
Little do they know that this drive was never meant to be this long, and that Takeda is horrendously lost.
It gets worse from there – when, disoriented by the darkness and tiredness, Takeda makes a mistake while driving. A mistake that results in the bus rolling down a slope.
Just like that, Team Karasuno is hurt and stranded in the middle of nowhere, struggling to survive. All they can do, except take care of their wounds and one another, is wait, and wait, and wait for someone to find them.
They wish they’d turned around when they still had the chance.

A/n: Uhm, hi. This is my first post, I have no idea what I'm doing but enjoy! Oh, and you can call me Katena or Kat!
Summary: You're a manager of the Karasuno Volleyball Club. You've just returned home from a hard day of matches against Johzenji and Wakunan and your boyfriend Kageyama Tobio is exhausted and in need of some loving. -> just cute fluff and caring for your bf

Tobio got off the bus with a heavy yawn.
Once everybody had assembled, Ukai-kun took the word. "No post-match meeting today, you need all the energy you can get for Seijou and Shiratorizawa tomorrow."
We said our goodbyes and all dispersed on our ways home.
"Do you want to sleep at my place tonight? It's closer." I asked Tobio.
"Mhm." He hummed in agreement, looking at me with tired eyes and I smiled again. "Let's go."
The way to the dorms was less than a two minute walk, though the many stairs to my room still posed as an obstacle which I had to help my boyfriend overcome, taking his bag and pulling him up the stairs about halfway through.
When we reached my dorm and I closed the door behind us, Tobio pushed off his shoes and I put them on the rack alongside mine.
"Do you want to take another shower?"
"No, already did at the gym." He moved toward the bed.
"You have to eat something babe." I put his bag on the floor and took off my jacket.
A disagreeing hum was all I got as an answer.
I sighed. "Fine, but you'll eat a proper breakfast in the morning."
Tobio dropped himself face first into the bed, giving me another hum of agreement through the blanket.
I couldn't help but chuckle as I grabbed a glass from the kitchen cabinet and filled it with water. He was so cute, completley exhausted and too tired to even speak.
After adding a bit of citrus juice, I brought it to the bed, reaching over Tobio to place it on the windowsill.
"Scoot over a little, baby."
The setter rolled on his side to face me and I laid down next to him. "I brought you some water."
He turned to the glass before taking two big sips from it. Then he wrapped his arms around me and pulled himself closer, so that his upper body was resting on my chest. My hands instinctively found their way to his hair, gently running my fingers through and massaging his scalp.
A heavy sigh left him and he melted even deeper into me.
His breathing became steady and deep, his eyes closed the moment he felt my touch.
After a while of caressing his head, I moved my hands down to slip under his beige sweater I loved so much and began trailing my fingers across his bare back.
He hummed in pleasure and I continued ever so gently massaging his back.
"I love you..." It was muffled and quiet but I understood as he placed a kiss on my chest, which I returned with a kiss on his head. "I love you too Tobio."
It took only a few more seconds until he'd fully passed out. I joined him in his dreams not long after.

KIYOOMI SAKUSA.
Sakusa feels the tension roll off his shoulders the moment he arrives home, hanging his cap and jacket up before washing his hands and face. He instantly knows that you're asleep when you don't run up to him the second he unlocks the front door, but he doesn't mind - it's likely that you were waiting for him anyway. So when he opened the door to your bedroom and saw you curled up, a pillow hugged tightly in your arms (where he usually is), he's slightly speechless. He's never known you to be one to sleep with a pillow, though it's likely because you always sleep with him in your arms. "I'm home, sweetie," he whispers as he presses a kiss to your cheek, inhaling your scent. You stir at the contact but are subconsciously aware that it's your husband. Sakusa huffs fondly at the way your cheek is squished against your own pillow and the way your fingers curl into the one you're hugging. "What do I sleep on now?” he murmurs to himself, amused. He’s teasing, of course, because he’s more than happy as he lays into bed beside you and drifts off to sleep at the sound of your soft breathing and flushed cheeks.
KEISHIN UKAI.
Ukai can tell you’re on the verge of falling asleep, too comfortable in your position to get up and greet him. Your right leg is hooked along his pillow, your cheek squished into the plush material as you murmur a welcome home. Ukai snorts lightly and ruffles your hair, bending down to kiss your forehead. “And you say you ain’t cute,” he smiles, watching you frown sleepily and drowsily push his face away. He doesn’t relent, instead presses another fat kiss to your cheek, making you smack him with the pillow. “Hey now, you’re armed and I’m not, this isn’t fair!” He protests, snatching the pillow away from your aggressive hands. You whine in the absence of it, hearing him chuckle and grab the magazine you had tossed on the coffee table. He returns the pillow to you before pulling your head into his lap and runs his fingers through your hair, his other hand flicking through the magazine as you nuzzle into him. “Sorry for disturbing ya,” he whispers. There’s something so endearing about him seeing you in such a relaxed state, so willing to lean into his embrace and accept his teasing.
ATSUMU MIYA.
Atsumu had left for a brief moment to get a blanket for the two of you as you watch a movie, humming to himself as he hauls it into his arms and heads back into the living room. “Ya’ want somethin’ to eat while I’m–,” he pauses once he sees your soft breathing and shut eyes, the pillow you were leaning into now in your arms as you slept. Atsumu inhales deeply, eyes sparkling at the sight of you. You’d think he was an inexperienced man who was pining over his highschool crush, though that wasn’t too far from the truth. He almost moves in slow motion as he pulls the blanket over your body, hearing you mumble something under your breath as you curl into the warmth of the cover. “God help me,” he murmurs, caressing your cheek and pushing a loose strand of hair behind your ear. “How did I get so lucky?” Before he accidentally wakes you up, he sits down on the other side of the couch, eyes glancing over at you as he pulls the bowl of popcorn back into his lap. Atsumu drowns out the sound of the movie to listen to your soft sounds instead, smiling when he hears you mumble his name in your sleep. “‘M right here, sweets.”
OSAMU MIYA.
Osamu catches sight of you in the doorway: hair dishevelled, his shirt much too big for you, your arms hugging a pillow. It’s obvious that you were sleeping, though he wasn’t sure why you had woken up. You yawn as you stumble over to the couch and toss yourself into its warmth, your head landing in his lap. Osamu chuckles, a deep rumble in his chest. “You could’a stayed in bed,” he whispers, left hand smoothing over your hair while the other flipped the page of his book. His reading glasses slightly distort his vision when looking at you, but it’s enough to notice how adamant you are to find warmth by embracing the pillow - and a small part of him wishes that was him instead. Osamu knows if he moves now, he’ll wake you up, and he doesn’t want that, despite his tea getting cold. Instead, he puts his book down, slides his glasses off and lets himself ease into the couch with his head leaning on the back of it. His eyes are already heavy with sleep, but he remains conscious enough to feel you replace the pillow with his hand, your cheek pressing against the cold of his rings and the warmth of his skin.

It wasn’t that you were cold but your body was missing a warmth that the blanket wasn’t giving you. You reached out your arms and grabbed the first thing you could, one of the pillows that was about to fall of your bed. You cradled it towards your body. Perfect.
“Y/N im home!” The man’s voice echoed through the apartment. he took off his shoes and let them fall directly next to yours. He looked around for a second and saw the bedroom door open. He walked over and peeked inside his eyes immediately fell to your sleeping body. The ends of his lips curled as his eyes fell to the way your right hand held the pillow to your chest , your left arm thrown up straight. His eyes shot back up to your face and he watched the small stream of drool. Score! He scrambled to find his phone as fast as he could, he opened the camera and in that moment he became a photographer. Moving to every angle he could until he tripped and fell directly on top of you. You let out a yelp and your eyes shot open. “How was your nap?” The man smiled at you and you closed your eyes slowly “amazing until a bolder fell onto me” he adjusted his body so that he was directly on top of you torso and all. “But look how cute you look! I wanted to get a closer look” he smiled and shoved his phone into your face

Since we hit 900 followers, I decided to write a special prompt for you guys! Hope you guys like it!
(Name) frowned as he quickened his jog to a run. He'd forgotten to get his dad to sign off for him. So he had to be quicker if he wanted to go with his club to their practice match. He adjusted his mating collar. Trying to be quiet since he knows, a certain someone was following him.

"Um excuse me. Can I help you?" (Name) quickly bowed and tried to answer. Only to stutter and make almost no sense. "A-Ah! I-I'm looking f-for my D-DAD!" (Name) watched as the surrounding males jump as he spoke. He wanted to throw his head through a wall. Curse his shyness!
(Name) covered his face an groaned quietly. The others chuckled at the site. Loving how the shy Omega reacted. Many cooed at him. Enjoying his reactions and scent. Not noticing his uniform or how uncomfortable he was becoming.

Coach Ukai sighed as he finished his cigarette. He was so ready to go home. Enjoy the food cooked by his lovely son, and maybe cuddle said son while watching some sports. Lord knows the last time they were able to relax together. Both have been extremely busy recently.
He's been busy with the store and coaching. (Name)'s been busy with school, managing volleyball, and his two mates. Ukai rubbed his temples. Yeah mates. His son has two. Both were ace's and fiercely protective of him.
Well now that he thought about it. He didn't blame them for being as protective as they are. His son is the most clumsy and shy person he's ever known. Which was odd considering his family is everything but shy. Well they've also never had an Omega born into their family before (Name).

Although he wishes (Name) would've gone to Karasuno where he could keep an eye on him. Though considering (Name) goes to his Dame's old school. He wasn't too upset.
As he made his way back towards the gym, he picked up a very familiar scent. (Scent). (Name). Ukai practically ran towards the gym. The scene he arrived in was one that made his blood boil. He sprinted towards the crowd and started punching the tops of their heads. "Oi! How dare you corner my son!?"
The crowd of groaning student didn't answer him. He pushed them away and stood in front of the trembling Omega. "You guys ought to be ashamed of yourselves! Can't you tell he's uncomfortable!" (Name) shuffled behind his dad and gripped the back of his jacket. Hiding from the others and wanting the comfort of his father.
Ukai immediately turned and started lightly scenting his son. Hoping to calm him down. (Name) slowly calmed and burried his head in his dads chest. Not wanting to see the others. Ukai heavily glared at them over his shoulder. "Laps. NOW!" The player quickly started doing laps around the gym. Not wanting to anger their coach more.
(Name) lightly tugged on his dads coat. Finally getting his dads attention. "U-Um. You need to um, s-sign me off f-for tomorrow." Ukai sighed and ruffled (Name)'s hair. "You could've waited for tonight instead of rushing over here." (Name) opened his mouth to answer but was interupted when the gym doors swung open. Revealing a the person (Name) had been avoiding.
Oikawa Tooru. (Name)'s biggest admirer. (Name) gulp and glung to his dad. Trying to hide himself. But considering they're wearing almost matching track suits it was hard to miss him. Oikawa skipped over to the two with a bright smile. "(Name)-chan~ why'd you run off without me?" He fake pouted.
Ukai tensed when he felt how much his son was trembling. So this was the Alpha giving his son so much trouble. "O-Oikawa-senpai!" Oikawa frowned and leaned towards (Name), ignoring the glare sent to him by the elder Alpha. "Haa! How many times do I have to tell you to call me Tooru?"
(Name) flinched and tried hiding more into his dad. Oikawa scoffed and turned towards the older Alpha. "Hello sir! You must be (Name)-chan's dad!" The glare was ignored as he smiled brightly. "I'm very interested in your son. May I court him?" The aura surrounding the trio darkened.
Scaring (Name) who quickly pulled out his phone. Texting the first contact he could get to. After the message was sent, (Name)'s phone was snatched from him. Startling him greatly. Oikawa was once again frowning and bent to (Name)'s height. (Name) looked away. Avoiding the stare from his upperclassman. Hoping the male won't come closer. He was wrong.
Oikawa stepped forward, which made (Name) stumble and land on the floor. By now everyone was watching them. (Name) had started crying and trembling more. "O-Oikawa-senpai. Y-You know I-I'm MATED!" (Name) felt his soul leaving his body at the scoff he received.
He hoped one of his Alpha's will save him soon. If not who knows what will happen at this rate! Oikawa rolle his eyes. "Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But why those two buff idiots, when you can have me~", sparkles surrounded Oikawa. (Name) whimpered as Oikawa squated in front of him. Ukai having enough stood in front of Oikawa.
He glared daggers at the brunette. "Oi", Ukai growled the word. "(Name) is mated to two of the strongest Alpha's. If you keep bothering him. Its not gonna be pretty. Because not only will you have to deal with all of Karasuno", Ukai spread his arms out. Oikawa looked around. Noticing the glares and growls being sent his way.
"But you'll deal with us too Shittykawa!" Entering the gym was none other then (Name)'s two mates. Iwaizumi Hajime and Ushijima Wakatoshi. (Name) tripped over himself multiple times getting up. Trying to get to his mates arms. Where he felt the safest. Once close enough (Name) was snatched by both Alpha's.
Oikawa slightly flinched at the looks sent his way by the two in the doorway. "We've told you time and time again. To leave our Omega alone. But you never fucking listen." Iwaizumi handed (Name) to Ushijima who held him close. As he made his way over, Ushijima turned (Name) away from the scene. Scenting the hysterical Omega.
Once Iwaizumi stopped he released his pheromones. Which brought Oikawa to his knees almost completely. "This is my last warning Tooru. Leave our Omega alone. Or I'll have to explain to your mother, sister, and nephew on why you won't be coming home ever again." Oikawa wanted to scoff but decided against it. Not wanting to make matters worse.
Ukai stepped forward and gripped Iwaizumi's shoulder. "Oi hedgehog. You're pheromones are everywhere. Reel them in will you. You're gonna send (Name) into a drop." Iwaizumi quickly turned to where his Omega and brother Alpha was. (Name) was slightly pale and clinging to Ushijima. Overwhelmed.
Iwaizumi sent one more glare to his ex-childhood friend, before making his way back over. Once he was close enough and lightly grabbed (Name). Scenting him carefully. Not wanting to send him into a drop. While the trio was scenting one another. Ukai started down at the panting Oikawa. Disgusted. "If you even get near my son again. So fucking help me."
Oikawa scoffed. "I'm the team captain of his volleyball team." Ukai growled before turning to the trio. "Oi! Lovers!" The Alpha's heads snapped over. Listening while (Name) was practically asleep. "Starting next week (Name) will be going to Karasuno. So you either switch schools, or be prepared to spend less time together."
Iwaizumi smirked. "I'll gladly follow (Name) to Karasuno. Although we had been discussing going to Shiratorizawa." Ukai quickly shook his head. "Hell no! I barely see him enough as it is." Ushijima frowned and looked away. "Maybe I can move closer to Karasuno instead of moving schools."
Ukai shook his head at the trio. Then smirked at the glowering Oikawa. "Now someone get this garbage out of my gym!" Kageyama and Tanaka made their way over. Wide smirks across their faces. "Our pleasure coach!"

“I got lonely, and your TV is shit. There’s nothing else to do but people watch.” As soon as you say it his frown gets deeper, before he grabs your cheek to squeeze.
It’s only by the way his gaze softens right back up when he releases you, you know he doesn’t take any of it to heart. “Brat.” He bends to lean in, and your mouth finds his much too comfortably— letting his tongue push our lips open and meet his own, and the kiss is only made deeper when his coarse, work-damaged hand wraps around you neck to pull you closer.
