Finally, after over a month, I've got the next part of Visions and Where They Lead up!! This one's gonna be three chapters, and unlike past multi-chapter, parts, not all chapters are gonna be posted at the same time. So, for now, enjoy the first one!

I am SO TIRED of this argument about attachment in STAR WARS. SERIOUSLY. People DO SOME BASIC RESEARCH before you make snap decisions (which will inevitably be wrong because you have no bloody clue what you're talking about).

When talking about attachment and the Jedi, I wish that more people online gave some thought to those being directly inspired by real, living traditions like Taoism and Buddhism that have *over a thousand years* of development and philosophical discourse, multiple schools and interpretations, countless people thinking about those ideas in different languages and time periods, etc. It's really obvious that so many people have a -very- Western background and don't think to consider beyond that.

Agreed.  I do want to add on the caveat that nobody’s obligated to agree with any conclusions or lenses that we view these things through or even to consider this at all.  We’re all free to do whatever and view things however we want.  Someone could be perfectly well aware of Buddhist and Taoist/Daoist traditions and just simply disagree! But as a general trend, I think fandom really has a very Western background and refuses to admit that they do.  It’s not a bad thing to have a very Western background, a lot of us were raised in it, it’s what we grew up with and what we know!  Having a Western background is perfectly fine.  Not being familiar with other backgrounds is fine.  You don’t have to beat yourself up over it.  It’s when automatically labeling anything that clashes with that Western background, traditions, or values as bad or abusive or wrong, that it’s less fine.  This isn’t just a Star Wars thing, I come from anime/manga fandoms and let me tell you, boyyyyyy, is it a thing there, too. Nor is it that we’re obligated to agree with other lenses, like just because someone says “this was influenced by Buddhism”, you suddenly have to shut up and aren’t allowed to have an opinion that disagrees!  It’s that we should be more considerate of the context of what we’re saying, we should be more considerate that sometimes there are belief systems and world views that don’t match our own that aren’t inherently lesser than ours, it’s that we should listen to other viewpoints and consider them genuinely. Further, it’s not like anyone is obligated to take George Lucas’ commentary about what attachment means in the context of Star Wars seriously, like, go ahead if you want to think it means attachment in the context of Attachment Theory, instead of in the context of Buddhism and Taoism.  No one’s going to come take you to jail if you do. But I have absolutely seen people say “attachment equals love” and that anyone who thinks someone can live without attachment is delusional, that people don’t work that way, and that it’s abusive to do so.  And when it’s phrased like that, it’s very clear that they’re either slamming belief systems and cultures other than their own or else they are completely dismissing that there are real people who live very real lives in those contexts. That is what I mean about considering how we talk about these things and why acknowledging that other lenses can exist and be just as valuable as our own--because, yeah, sure, the Jedi are a made up group of people and a made up culture, if you want to dis on them, I’m not going to stop you.  But if you’re saying stuff like “no one can live without attachment and it’s cult-like to make them try”, how else is a real person who lives with non-attachment supposed to take that?

There was something distinctly hungry and possessive about that gaze. It made a shiver run up Obi-Wan's spine--because he recognized that look. He'd seen Anakin look that way at Senator Amidala.

But it wasn't Senator Amidala who stepped into the camera's view. It wasn't Senator Amidala the Sith yanked closer and kissed.

It was Obi-Wan.  [Obi-Wan and Anakin are sent to investigate the sighting of a Sith Anakin, who appears to be in a relationship with an older version of Obi-Wan.]

This is one of my favourite Obikin fics, and if you enjoy time travel shenanigans chances are you will enjoy this too. skyl_tales wrote some of my favourite fics for this fandom, so if you enjoy this, I suggest you check their other work as well!

Beautiful story!!!! This is honestly one of the most wholesome and "fix-it/what-if" kind of canon obikin fics I've ever read. I really really recommend reading this if you're just getting into Obikin and the SW-verse in general.

This is a WWII AU - so beware of that in the first place, but I have always enjoyed historical AUs, and this is very beautifully done. It spans over a long time (my favourite) and does it so well.

This fic. THIS FIC!!!! I don't have anything to say about this - read this fic (in fact read everything written by this author - they have a bodyswap fic called Gray Matter) I really enjoy their characterization of both Obi-Wan and Anakin and the story telling is amazing. Truly love them.

Either way, if you enjoy marvel-esque superheroes and Obi-Wan and Anakin is the usual idiots they are, give it a go <3

Only trying to help, the Force overcorrects Obi-Wan's overcorrection and pulls them into an alternate universe where they run into a different version of Anakin Skywalker altogether.

But Obi-Wan Kenobi is also grappling with new, sudden, and insistent feelings for his padawan. He overcorrects by following the older version of Anakin into bed.

His padawan is less than pleased.

The Force….lets them figure this one out on their own.

An insane canon-divergence AU, this is so intricate and could truly be a movie of its own lol. It features (eventually) sith! Obi-Wan and sith! Anakin, so beware of that, but I don't want to spoil that story. Also that I would never rec any story that has a sad ending :)

...It's exactly what it says on the tin. Once again one of those: either you will love it or hate it kind of tropes I think, omegaverse is what it is. If you're familiar with it and the idea of an Alpha Obi-Wan growing to enjoy submission sounds like up your alley (it is mine,) then by all means!

Fairytale tropes! I've always loved truth serum/truth spell trope where one party is obliged to tell the truth. Add one repressed Obi-Wan Kenobi into the mix? Perfection. I looooove this fic so much, it's wholesome and touching at the same time.

Ahhh this author, this fic. It's so beautifully written, canon compliant au, and it just hurts (in the most beautiful, gut wrenching way). It's beautifully melancholic, I always love their works even if they leave me with a pang in my chest.

YOOO - this is one of the first fics I've read in this fandom and oh my god. It's kind of PWP - but the characterization, the feeling, the EMOTION. It's all there. It's a two parter - read them both, it's so good, it's one of those fics where I read it and I was like. Oh yeah this happened in canon.

Ahhh, gorgeous fic! Have to say the only version of Dom!Obi-Wan I enjoy is Gentle!Dom Obi-Wan and this fic does it justice! It's such a nice read - I love some self shaming Anakin and Gentle! Obi-Wan guiding him through those feelings.

In the aftermath of the Clone Wars, Palpatine dead and untold tragedy averted, the Republic struggles to heal and rebuild itself.

Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi attempt to do the same with their own relationship, riddled as it has become with betrayal, distrust, and hurt. It's not going too well. Desperate and unwilling to accept that maybe their friendship is ruined, Anakin finds a counselor they can talk to, one that specializes in healing "teams."

Or, as the counselor would probably put it, married couples, which they are decidedly not. Not that she knows that though. And not that they know that she thinks they're in a romantic relationship either. What a silly assumption to make. It's not like they're more intimate than lovers or anything.

I know I recced this before, and I'm usually against that but lol. This fic, this fic truly holds such a special place in my mind, it fits in SO WELL with the headcanons I have of Obi-Wan and Anakin, the little questionnaires they answer in the end of each chapter - the EVERYTHING. I'm not even exaggerating this fic is what's keeping me tethered to the obikin fandom atm. I really get a bit stupid when Kit's fics are involved, she is probably the author who got me hooked on obikin, so I would suggest checking out her work in general. I could rec anything and everything from her.

Caedis Rose is my OC from the SW setting. A Light Sided Sith that just isn't recklessly murderous for no reason. Wasting resources, lives and potential is what she avoids at all cost. Especially when it comes to her ship's crew.

OOF it's been a while since I thought about it so the details are muddy but here we go

Mia and Misha are born into the Resistance; Mia pretty quickly follows her mother's steps in becoming a pilot, and shows talent to repair pretty much everything. Meanwhile, Misha (who is terrified of flying) manifests a strong connection to the Force, and her parents struggle to help her manage her powers and find someone who can train her to be a Jedi. Mia, on the other hand, appears to have as much Force sensitivity as a rock. Even though she's lowkey jealous of her little sister, Mia loves her dearly and as a gift she brings her 2 kyber crystals that she got from a smuggler.

Anyway Misha starts her Jedi training (a friend's OC might have a part to play in this) and Mia is sent on a mission.

At one point, Mia gets taken hostage by Selim, my whore Sith OC, who manages to awaken her powers, and he almost drags her to the Dark Side, but Misha successfully defeats Selim and rescues her sister

That's pretty much all I remember about their SW verse it's been a long time since I thought about it and I'm not really keeping up with SW content anymore;;

bound by the things we choose ‘verse by @nspx is so wonderful!! It tackles such relationships as Leia & Vader, Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan, and Mara & Vader (love that third fic fr)

the skywalker palindrome by @cringewerewolf is the coolest take on time travel EVER 💞 the series page explains it better than I could, but I will say that it’s Anakin and Luke centric.

hendiadys for a dream by @ozvezdja is THE Anidala fic series of all time (especially now i want my letters white again)!! Like omg…bees, you GET IT!! You get them!! Sola’s POV for that first fic is INSPIRED 💞 I am OBSESSED, please go read this fic if you’re even lukewarm towards Anidala

Frozen in Time by @fanfictasia is some of the most heartwrenching Luke & Vader angst I’ve ever read (while also being short, which is an impressive feat). I just…Vader having visits with Luke supervised by Palpatine?? Luke being periodically frozen in carbonite?? THE TRAGEDY OF IT ALL

The Tatooine Cycle by @fialleril, because I’d be remiss to exclude them from a SW rec list—their fics are a must-read, their worldbuilding of Tatooine is absolutely amazing 💞

Misunderstandings by Livsy, which tackles Anakin’s oft-neglected (in fandom) slave background!

All The Right Reasons by bethagain is such a sweetly heartwrenching look at Luke & Ben (Solo, not Skywalker), how quickly Luke bonds with his nephew…and how he hesitates at first to train Ben because (“I can’t see through…how much I love him”) 🥺 I just. I can’t. I am MELTING, this is so emotional (and it was written pre-TLJ! A nice bonus for me, as someone who hates how their relationship was handled in that movie)

The King’s Gambit by @elli-incarnate…oh it’s a masterclass. The epitome of Sith Luke fics, and absolutely beautiful to read. Every sentence is written with so much care, Luke/Mara is written wonderfully, and I just…I love it so much. So, so very much 💞 it’s Legends-leaning, but tbh it can be enjoyed without knowing Legends

Enter the Foreign by Viari is for absolutely anyone who loves time-travel fics…especially ones featuring Anakin! You don’t need to be terribly familiar with Legends, though it helps (I’m somewhat familiar, but not totally, and this was accessible to me). The spin-off AUs are such a delight too (and an inspiration for me to write my own 😅), and it’s just so much fun and so clearly a labor of love, and such a sprawling, intricate AU. I can’t recommend it enough.

The Sun in the Storm by @basimibnishaqs is such an adorable Rey-is-Luke’s-daughter fic 🥹 she’s an adorable sweetheart, and Luke is her protective dad, what more could you want?? (Also OP has galaxy-brained takes about Rey & Luke so…you know. There’s that too)

Sith!Fay is a fascinating idea that is also the most terrifying thing in the galaxy.

Did writing "to the gates of Babylon" give you any inspiration to write more sith!Fay? Maybe a one-shot from Jon's point of view as he tries to bring her back to the light?

IDK I just think sith!Fay is terrifying and it's something I never thought about before because she's always so LIGHT in everything you write.

Potentially I might write more? The dynamics of various clones/Jedi makes me want to, tbh, even more than just the Jon parts, which would be fun too.

I do generally write Fay as a force of light, but canon for her is also kind of interesting. The whole 'verse is basically built off a one-off comment Fay makes as she's dying in Obi-Wan's arms (because she's pretty and female and therefore required by SW law to die in his arms, ig) about how she's tired of living anyway so he shouldn't be sad etc. Just - the idea of her not being able to die, but being tired of existing, and that meeting the corrupting influence of a place like Dromund Kaas to turn her into a force of entropy that wants to infect the whole galaxy...it's like. understandable? vaguely? Not good or sane or anything close, but there's a core of reason to it, and I think that makes for the most interesting villains.

Also I was considering Hevy/Fay in terms of an eventual fix-it-of-sorts and made myself ship it, so.

Heh, I wondered if that was the case but I was worried I might not know of a different abbreviation! Anyway, yes, I've got so much lore for my two primary ships, poelya & arachknight.

Poe and Volya probably have the most lore, on account that I've been writing them since 2021, and they've got more AU's and verses than I can count, but the concept of them actually came about for an AU me and my queerplatonic partner, @hermitmoss, cooked up where our prequel era (with a twist, here, since the universe they're from, the Sith no longer exist) self-inserts get time traveled to the sequel era, in the middle of the Poe comics storyline.

For (somewhat!) brevity's sake, I'll focus on Ghost Story for the Poe and Volya lore since it was the OG (though I'm always coming up with new ideas and revamping Volya; she's been my girl since 2018 and no matter how much I try, making any other self-insert for SW just doesn't feel right, with the exception of my SWTOR girlies).

I don't want to say that Poe and Volya are love at first sight, but it's fairly close in that they just kind of instantly click as friends: she's a pilot (in this verse), he's a pilot, and she loves cute droids and whaddya know! Poe's got a cute droid. So, she winds up paired with him on the flight back to D'Qar from Tython, and they spend the whole time bonding over their shared interest in flying, and Volya kind of instantly feels like she belongs in the Resistance.

They start dating pretty soon after - Poe asks her to go get caf (coffee) with him after they do a test flight and bond a little more, and with some prodding from Galaxy's Most Patient Jedi Ever (my qpp's OC, Brider), Volya realizes it's probably a date? One thing I really like about them in this verse is that, once they decide they're in a relationship, they're still getting to know each other. They're becoming best friends at the same time as they're falling in love with each other, and I really love playing with that.

For both of them, they feel very responsible for somebody else: Volya feels like it's her job to keep her best friend/sister safe and protected, and Poe feels like he's the only person watching out for Leia: both of them respect these relationships and try their best to help each other out, and understand duty comes first...but the longer they're together, the more they begin to learn to put themselves first. They both get each other, in different ways, to seriously consider their respective futures, and plan it out together!

There's so much more lore than that, but I don't want to like. Miss out on infodumping about arachknight either, so I'm gonna talk about them under the cut!

Arachknight is a relationship that I'm still fleshing out, because it's taken me a few years to really get down the main verse for Emilia worked out: it's a mental hodgepodge of my favorite things in Marvel, but again, for brevity's sake: it's an AU of what happens after Moon Knight.

We pick up a year later, and Marc is recently divorced (NO hate to Layla btw I'm a hardcore moonscarab shipper it just felt like the obvious trajectory for this 'verse cos I do not want to erase Layla in the slightest) and back at it again as Moon Knight, and on the hunt for a vampire that remains wildly elusive (this is an important plotline to keep in mind) and ends up in a bar called the Feather of Truth, where he meets chipper and chatty bartender, Emilia McKnight.

Emilia and Marc hit it off and become friends. I'm still working out how they eventually wind up together, but I think it's definitely more of a slowburn than poelya has (I at least know it's a year between them meeting and when they're in a relationship), but both of them are hiding their respective vigilante identities from the other: Emilia is retired, but she used to be Nephila, a spider-powered vigilante in New York, until a tragedy struck and she hung up her webs and moved to Brixton.

Howeverrrr, that vampire Marc's been hunting gets wind of Marc's identity and goes after Emilia to try and scare Marc off her trail, but it doesn't work, and then Marc and Emilia have to contend with telling each other the truth about their identities 🫢

Emilia's 'verse is still being fleshed out (and written! I'm working on a multichapter fic right now dealing with them finding out the truth about each other!), and I'm itching to start a new one for Volya, so I'm sure I'll start yapping about them at some point in the future too!

Finnrey! I ship the Bffs while I Reylo. TROS

When starting this post I was very curious as to what happened between FinnRey between The Last Jedi and TROS. I had to do some research into the books that were released during that gap.

I didn't like TROS, but one aspect I did like was seeing FinnRey again and the scenes they did receive warmed my heart. Now.....

Dear John Boyega - I'm not sure what you were promised, I wasn't there for pre-production conversations and I know you were a huge fan of Star Wars - however, this was never your story. This was the Skywalker + Rey story. Reylo was planned from the outset so it wasn't that. Yes, you were the first main black cast member of a SW film, it doesn't mean you were the most important character though.

Yes, Adam Driver is tall, dark, handsome and white... his character is also the son of Han and Leia, a Prince, he's the grandson of Anakin and Padme, the villain AND Luke's nephew and former padawan. Adam Driver is also a helluva actor. From a purely story wise perspective..... he's pretty damn important. No, you didn't sidelined due to him.

I also agree with Jason Fry, he got a fully developed story in The Last Jedi. TROS let everybody down. Ben solo was screwed, Rey was partially developed then screwed, Rose (thankfully) was in two minutes, Leia (unfortunately) was limited, Poe was meh, Hux was replaced then pointlessly murdered, R2D2 was limited..... so calm down.

In the year between TLJ and TROS, The novel Resistance Reborn gives us the biggest clues into their relationship during this time, despite Rey being a side character. It's very clear from Poe and Rose that they find Rey difficult to get to know. Rose comments that she find Rey someone who seems like she's both in the present and just beyond it. Poe attempts to bond with Rey through banter about flying skills, ships or being a Jedi which Rey find mostly annoying. Rey is friendly and she's a dedicated student of the Force, but it's clear she only really has a bond with Chewie, BB8, her master Leia and of course Finn. There's a conversation between Poe and Finn aboard the Falcon regarding his relationship with Rey.

Poe: "So the two of you aren't..."

Finn: "No, nothing like that. Just friends."

Rey and Kylo are both strong in the Force, they are the light and dark sides of the same coin, but FinnRey is made of the same noble cloth. While I Reylo, I'm glad Rey was able to receive such pure friendship and love from Finn. Finn is someone she can connect to especially as she grows more distant from everyone else as a mere byproduct of fate. Finn is so excited that Rey exists, the moment he meets her he has someone he loves to fight for. Over a short time that love grows bigger than his fear of what he fled.

TROS Scenes

In the movie, it's made clear that mainly Rey is training while Finn goes out on missions with Poe or Rose. While this frustrates Poe, Finn calmy agrees that they would use her. I disagree with this. While practically speaking, Finn and Rey's strengths and weaknesses complement each other, the best thing she could be doing is training.

When it's revealed that Palpatine has return (eyeroll) Rey decides to head to the desert of Pasaana to find the Sith Way finder to Exegol. While preparing to depart Rey finds that Finn, Poe, Chewie and BB8 are heading out with her. Good. FinnRey are a shockingly good team, a fact they discover within just a few minutes of meeting each other. Plus, John Boyega and Daisy Ridley are brimming with BFF energy that audience enjoys watching.

It's also great to see Finn evolve into a character more centered into himself so much so that he's the more moderating character that bind the trio of Poe, Rey, and himself together. Finn is the only character that has strong connections to everyone on screen.

There definitely seems to be an attempt to not separate Finn from Rey or vice verse but make sure his arc is balanced while still being her confidante. They don't necessarily have many moment in Pasaana where you get a sense of their mutuality. Daisy Ridley commented on the new dynamic.

"The thing for me that was always really exciting is I never felt like there was a specified sort of love that we were portraying. So the relationship between Finn, Rey and Poe in this one, I felt amazing. It's friendship, it's family, and it's just a lovely sort of thing," she shared. "I also think that's nice in a film way to not necessarily have an overt 'This is friendship. This is love.' It's just all a beautiful collection of people."

Now comes the moment when they thought they were going to perish in the sinking sands of Pasaana. Finn starts to confess something to Rey, but he only gets as far as “Rey, I never told you—” before being swallowed up by quicksand. Everyone debated what was he going to tell her. One might reasonably assume—as a significant portion of The Rise of Skywalker’s audience did—that Finn was going to tell Rey he loves her. Abrams declared that what Finn wanted to tell Rey is that he was Force-sensitive. Even after they obviously survive he still won't confide in her just yet cause Poe is this there I guess. Are you for real? Why is this played like some kind of mysterious I've waiting to tell you kind of thing? It's been obvious for two movies - now three movie - can we get this show on the road? Besides, Rey already knows he's force-sensitve.

I think more importantly - this was a missed opportunity to show Rey be there for Finn. Finn could've been developed to show how he feels about anything and Rey could've been there to emotionally support him. When they are safe underground she does ask what he was going to tell her, he's uncomfortable telling her with Poe there - still, this moment needed to have happened.

Now there are some great moments of Finn just checking on Rey or being aware of her safety. When she walks out into desert it's because both she knows Kylo Ren is coming, when Finn realizes this he goes to join her.

There real moment of glory is after she thinks she kills Chewie in a moment of tug-o-war with Kylo Ren. Lightning came out her fingers, shocking her and everyone else. Finn is wonderful in this scene. Showing compassion for where she was at emotionally. Not only did he seek her out alone to reassure her that what had happened wasn't her fault, but he also rallied more support with Poe. It also provided a moment for her to express feelings and emotions she had been hiding inside herself. Over the past year she had been having dark visions and voices inside her head. Finn isn't afraid of her, but he is afraid for her.

Rey : I lost control.

Finn : It wasn't your fault.

Rey : It was.

Finn : No. It was Ren. He made you do it.

Rey : Chewie's gone. That power came from me. Finn, there are things you don't know.

Finn : Then tell me.[pause] 

Rey : I, uh, had a vision. Of the Sith throne. And who was on it.

Finn : Ren?

Rey : [shaking voice]  And me.

The fact that he is also a Force User and could sense what was happening with her just cemented the bond that they already have. He’s going to be able to understand things about her that others cannot. Finn was the person Rey could talk to and trust he would listen and care. He didn’t hold things against her, he had her back 100%. He cried for her. He verbally affirmed her. They spoke in a raw and honest way with each other that was beautiful. Finn absolutely has faith in Rey.

On Kijimi, there are just nice moments of togetherness. You can tell Finn is staying close to Rey as a source of support and just keeping an eye out for her. When Ren's destroyer arrives and Rey begins to go outside, Finn's right there watching her back.

After Rey's interaction with Kylo when Kylo reveals to her not only that they form a dyad in the force, but that she's a Palpatine this is revealed in the novel. In this moment she's tempted once more to join Kylo Ren in the gray or in the dark. Then Finn appears. In the novel, "Suddenly she felt a weight at her back and along with it.....Finn, a bright light piercing the dark......"Come on!" yelled Finn. She sprinted for the edge then launched herself toward the Falcon. Finn grabbed her arm before she could sail by and swung her onto the ramp. They sprinted into the Falcon's belly. The ramp rose closing them in."

Rey tells Finn “People keep telling me they know me. I’m afraid no one does.” Her internal battle became overshadowed by this massive legacy thrust upon her. She's exhausted and isn't pure Jedi. Part of Rey's arc is she's got darkness in her and she knows it. Once again Finn is just present for her in whatever that means while she tinkers with repairs.

Something that isn't given any time or attention is that Finn is pure white light to Rey. Finn is Rey's greatest pull to the light. He also tells Poe that he and Leia can understand Rey’s struggle in a way Poe cannot. This isn't just Finn running after Rey. He's aware of his friends struggles and trying to stop her from leaning towards the dark side.

Poe Dameron : [after Rey heads to the Death Star wreckage alone]  What the hell was she thinking?

Finn : Poe, we gotta go after her.

Poe Dameron : We'll get the Falcon fixed, and get out there as fast as we can

Finn : No, we're gonna lose her.

Poe Dameron : Look, she left us! What do you wanna do? Swim?Finn : She's not herself. You have no idea what she's fighting.

Poe Dameron : And you do?

Finn : Yeah, I do. And so does Leia.

Poe Dameron : Well, I'm not Leia

.Finn : That's for damn sure.

When she's fighting Kylo Ren Rey is out of control. She's dominated by rage and frustration. In the novel, "A presence cut through her awareness - shining and bright and a voice screaming, "Rey!" Finn was running toward her, leaving Jannah behind to watch their skimmer. Rey's instinct to protect Finn was overwhelming. With no thought at all she called on the Force and thrust out with her hand. He flew backward toward Jannah toward the edge of bridge wreck. A wave crashed down on the streach of bridge between them.

Finn : The Force. The Force brought me here. It brought me to Rey. And Poe.

I really love that Finn became a General alongside Poe and I think one of their best scenes together is when they gave a speech to the members of the Resistance.

Now it is implied that this is both Rey's workstation AND Rey/Finn's bedroom. I cannot confirm and this might just be me, but there we go.

Finn: Hey, don't touch that. That's my friend's.

Droid. Sorry, she is gone?

Finn: Yeah, she's gone. I don't know where.

Droid: I miss her.

Finn: I miss her, too.

I loved the moment when he sensed her death. The confirmation of his Force-sensitive instincts was so satisfying. And then his joy when he saw her alive was completely consistent with everything Finn has done with Rey since the moment they first met.

John Boyega, Finn's actor, was once asked whom he would like to see Finn end up with between Rey and Rose and he replied, "[Finn] had this kind of banterous relationship with Han, then he has this loving relationship with Rey. Now with Rose, it feels like he has this great relationship. Personally? Rey. Yeah, Rey."

I know this is a Harry Potter blog, though that doesn't stop me from exploring an OC in the Star Wars verse. 😂 It's a franchise I've been in love with since third grade or so. I've always dreamt about making a Jedi OC for SW. Now, thanks to encouragement from some HP fandom friends who are also into SW, I'm always coming up with ideas for for him. Master Osian "Ossie" Artturi is his name. Roughly around Aayla Secura's age, Ossie's faceclaim is Actor Tom Holland. He wields a green lightsaber and robes with natural earth tones that can act as camouflage.

The son of a slave and a former associate of a criminal organization who changed his ways, Ossie finds himself in the care of the Jedi after his parents are murdered by the scum seeking revenge for his father's defection. His mother's dying wish was for the Jedi to take in their son and raise him into a good person. This poor guy loses his family twice, his parents and the Jedi, in Order 66. Both at the hands of those who do not hesitate to kill or break anyone who stands in the way of snatching absolute power. Ossie has no choice but to stash his robes and lightsaber, taking up a blaster as he goes under the radar to evade the Empire and the Sith. Along the way, he tries to find himself in the chaos of a galaxy ruled by fear while sabotaging the imperial overlords in support of a growing rebellion.

I love this lad so much and I'm excited to keep developing him! 😁 With classes starting back up, may the Force be with you all.
