He is inspired by the character Day from Lunar and Earth Show.

That wasn't actually intentional! And there's one missing. Fawn is also a response.... And... I did take classes in college for a psychology degree. [My actual degree is in Studio Arts, but my current job is safer and pays more then teaching would.] But that was a long time ago. Truthfully, I have common trauma with most of my main characters. [Not the rape part thankfully.] So it is very personal for me. And as far as TSAMS goes; we have different goals. Things that work for writing don't translate as well into just a visual medium with people occasionally monologuing. Again, Tumblr- Someone made the point that we like stoic protagonists in fiction because we can hear their innermost thoughts from the perspective of a narrator. Dealing with a real person like that; you'd probably want to beat him with a hammer because you have no clue what stupid chain of thoughts leads to his actual actions and emotionally constipated people are so frustrating. So TSAMS can show you the Daycare and someone in it, and it looks nice. But I can do this- Eclipse sat at the security desk and tapped his claws on the old wood. He was dimly aware of the insipid and ceaseless music playing as usual. But he was more focused on watching Sun at the end of the desk. His sunny counterpart was merrily folding the freshly laundered sleeping blankets. The tangled pile was filling one of the desk chairs with one corner dangling dangerously close to touching the floor. With every fluff of the fabric he could smell the dryer scent as it wafted across his sensors. He sined his rays to make a faint noise as the metal scraped lightly against the disk of his head. Sun paused to give him a little smile, the bells on his wrists chiming quieter and quieter into silence as he stopped moving. Tell me you're not there with them right now. Writing of any kind is powerful. In some ways more then a visual medium. Because it uses the readers own imagination to make it come to life. Also I love raunchy sex scenes and YouTube is run by puritanical prudes. [VRmodels simulating sex looks really silly. That's GMod humor.] XD As far as keeping track of everyone? The fact that I made plushies of most of them helps. It was actually easier for me to make a bunch of dolls then do a ton of reference drawings with everyone's patterns and colors. Plus I have an adorable peanut gallery on little shelves around me now when I work in my craft room. And I can take funny pictures of them. <3 Eclipse's doll also goes back and forth with me to my actual job. He's good for morale since I do a LOT of driving alone.

And I have really bad imposter syndrome sometimes, so it does my heart good to hear it. I'm very used to just writing and making things to amuse myself and nobody cares. I've been on Tumblr since around 2013, and I'm VERY used to never getting any attention on original posts either. So suddenly being in a fandom where I'm getting feedback at all is humbling and frankly astonishing. If you check the rest of my Ao3 account you'll see I've had a LOT of experience roleplaying with friends. It's excellent motivation to have other people just as excited about characters who want to sit down and play out scenarios. It can also teach you pacing and getting a feel for what does and doesn't work grammatically. And I see more people mentioning this lately so I feel more comfortable talking about it on blast- But once you have a good sense of your characters personalities you can kind of... hear their voices? I can drop them into a situation like a bunch of Sims and see what they do. It makes for really organic storytelling to not fight the natural flow of their conversations. I make small lists of major plot events that sometimes get changed because of a situation evolving differently then I expected. But on the whole I write in a totally linear fashion and remind myself constantly not to hurry towards things. EMHM is what I now understand is called a 'forever story'? I'm enjoying just existing in their world and following them around just as much as my audience. ;)
