The philosophical remarks in this book are, as it were, a number of sketches of landscapes which were made in the course of these long and meandering journeys. The same or almost the same points were always being approached afresh from different directions, and new sketches made ... which then had to be arranged and often cut down, in order to give the viewer an idea of the landscape. So this book is really just an album.

"What if I did it and it's bad" Brother/Sis/Homie you are supposed to be bad! You are not the chosen one, none of us are, you are not going to be that good at everything immediately! I hate this prodigy culture to the bones of my bones! "What if I'll never be (as) good (as someone else)" FINE but you got better at it! Why do you think they get good? Are you letting your jealousy in the way of being human again?
That's right. You are human, you have the natural desire to express something through art forms, so you better take that chance. Learn an instrument, learn to play chess, learn penmanship, write a poem or a novel or anything, paint something, ink something, sculpt something, learn to cook.
You are making art because you want to feel good through the process! You are making art because you want to make art! Since when are we making art JUST so others could see us as some kind of gods or muse to worship??? Now we are letting this mindset rot through our brain so people have to make art and act nonchalant about it. People are making art and hiding how much effort they took with it because they want to look like THE prodigy who is not supposed to struggle through anything. People are making art and getting extremely offended by even the mildest criticism because that shattered their illusion that they are talented.
And trust me if the only reason you wanted to make art is so you can get some attention or popularity through this algorithm, it's gonna show in the things you made and it's ugly. And it's a downward spiral and it makes you look ugly. So make art for yourself!!!!!!! See it as going to the gym! You need to at least be able to do one thing that makes you happy or how else are you gonna recuperate after experiencing reality?
Potentially hot take but one of the reasons we need art and music in schools is that, taught correctly, they are ideal avenues for teaching kids how to do something, kinda suck at it, keep going anyways and improve over time.
And THAT is one of the most valuable skill sets a human being can have. THAT is the skill set that unlocks soooooo many others.
A LOT of people I see with anxiety and depression do not have this skill set. To suck at something is a threat. Proof that they are doomed to suck at it forever. And then, often, that either THEY suck forever or the task must be stupid/useless/pointless (whence we get AI art fans who have decided actually making art is pointless and degrading the labor and skills of others is fine because these are useless skills).
Or you get the freeze- the inability to try things in case you fail. The sudden lancing shame and humiliation or hopelessness. The sense that anything you haven't learned by now you can't learn. Which is so heartbreaking and so untrue.
I just hate it.
"What if I write it and it's bad" "what if I draw it and it's bad" "what if I play it and it sounds bad" DOING IT BAD IS HOW YOU LEARN TO DO IT GOOD! You can't skip the process of leaning and the process is FUN if you let it be what it needs to be!

Using precious resources to deport illegal immigrants who pay taxes and have committed no crimes is currently an extremist view in the United States, not a moderate viewpoint, as extremist viewpoints stem from a lack of using logic, and there is no logic in such actions. The difference between how the west coast is governed, and how the east coast is governed, is like night and day, like they may as well be two separate countries. There also seems to be an extreme and severe delay in how information travels from the west coast to the east coast, with the information often being received on the east coast inaccurately, due to the extreme cultural differences between the two regions. The west coast also contributes more to the nation’s GDP than all of the east coast except for maybe NYC, and that’s because of Wall Street, and the movement of stocks on the stock market ultimately controls Wall Street, and big tech now ultimately controls the stock market, and AI now ultimately controls big tech. Actually, I have never known humans to put aside their needs and responsibilities to the degree at which they have done in America to build Ai. The only building of something that could have been similar to the building of Ai was the building of the Great Pyramids, or maybe Noah’s Ark. The current placement of our nation’s capital is also a strategically very poor placement in regards to warfare, not to mention Washington D.C. being built over a swamp, in what still remains swampland, and areas with the climate that produce swampland can flood swampland that has been built over and artificially made to technically be not a swamp easily, and at anytime. It would only take one perfect storm to literally flood Washington. You shouldn’t want to drain the swamp, as that’s bad for the environment, and Mother Nature will make you pay greatly. What you should want, is for the literal and figurative swamp that is D.C. to be flooded again.

Are the Canadian Rockies that special? Absolutely! They are especially unique for the many glacial green lakes and rivers. Did you know these are caused by the 2000+ glaciers that flow down the mountains as ice falls? #travel #photography #scenery #nature #wanderlust #canada #roadtrip #travelblogger #hiking #explorealberta #exploreBC @HelloBC @travelalberta #traveltuesday
