Destiny OCs Part Three: Titans! Finally!

It took me way too long to get this setup compared to my Hunters and Warlocks. Sorry my punchi bois

Pointe

The final piece of the original trio! He's a Sunbreaker with a lot of unpleasant thoughts rolling around in his brain. He's been through a lot so he really doesn't like getting close to people, but Rin'll soften him up over time.

Fun fact: he was spawned during a Crucible match in clanmates. Back then I had terrible internet and even worse computer. That combination created a rare bug where the player ends up in a weird Schrodinger's state. The player themselves is able to run around the arena like normal and is able to see the other players. But they cannot interact with them in anyway except for like splash damage. I didn't know that back then, so I truly thought I was incorporeal to the rest of the team. My bullets did nothing, I'd punch the enemy but there was no retaliation. They didn't even know I was there. They couldn't see me. The first words out of my mouth back then were "I'm not real!" Thus. Pointe was born. He's really grown as a character since then, I'm really happy with what I've come up with him! I don't even know if many of it'll show up in the main story, but maybe I'll do side bits with him.

Oasis' partner and a Sentinel. Raised after the Red War. If I remember right I designed him as an Awoken but he's the type to always keep the helmet on so maybe it doesn't matter too much.

He's the quiet type, saving his breath for as few words as possible. It's not like he hates people, he's just not much of a talker.

As a New Light he felt kind of aimless. Millions of Guardians were already raised by then, so he doesn't feel like much of a help. That and he bears some resentment towards them, coming to the conclusion that he died during the Red War, since he was raised in the ruins of the Last City. If they couldn't even protect the people they vowed to, why is he indebted to partnering with them?

When he met Oasis though, he chose to devote himself entirely to her. Screw the City, as long as he can protect the one person he cares about, that's enough for him.

i love learning new things and getting better at stuff, and its been slow going but I am happier w how my art (specifically pixel art) is looking

but that said

i haaaate having an image in my head and not being able to put it to paper (or squares)

its just a case of doing more learning to figure it out, and ive definitely made progress. was looking at my pixel art from last year and it looks so shit to me now which is a great sign

i actually love digging out past writing/art/etc and seeing its bad coz i know that means ive made progress. i find my writing over the past few years is good which isnt great because that means im stagnanting so i do need to pick that back up. ive been deep in the planning stages of writing and not so much the actual writing

also making the switch from novel to video game writing has been tough because i love prose and setting the scene but gamers fucking hate that even in a visual novel. and tbh in games i do myself like it when things are told quicker but w more impact so i get it; the visual aspect is already there so u dont necessarily need the extra flourish

except my scenes wont look that good coz my art sucks and so we're back to the original problem...!

when he was 14 he had a nightmare about getting trapped behind some extremely heavy door and he couldn't get out as much as he tried because he didn't have any strength (you were behind the door ofc, that's why he was so desperate to get out), immediately started going to the gym to work on it💀

vampire enjoyer, he used to pretend to be a vampire when he was younger, lost infinite aura when some kids called him out in front of everyone (me too clive, me too).

he kind of took that guardian bell you gave him (at the beginning of the game) as a confession, "if you're supposed to give it to a loved one to protect them does that mean they love me?"- his hopes were gone the moment you told him some friend of yours found him cute and wanted to get to know him better🕴️

Hilson is so fuckin great. Like it's not not gay. It's definitely not straight. The lovers of 'unlabelled' are missing out on Hilson. Cuz House is canonically some form of not straight. And Wilson is deffo bad at relationships with women. Like just straight up THE WORST to have ever been with a woman long term. And they literally get the most romantic ending. There are MULTIPLE episodes where there's not just joke references but them being seriously codependent. I think the idea was ALWAYS to not necessarily bait (or maybe it was idk) but also more of an open to interpretation thing than just straight up dousing that fire. They literally ride off into the sunset. On Bikes. Hello. Like. It's just so fuckin great. The fact that Hugh also just kept on insisting that house was definitely homo for his homie. And it's all banter and dialogue and plot and not some cheap bs like lingering gaze or physical proximity and shit. They're not (just) visually gaying. They're homotextuals and superior to EVERY coupling combo on that show (and any other show ever).
