All the cameos in The First Slam Dunk

Had a freeze-frame watch party of The First Slam Dunk with my SD BFF and here are all the side characters that you can spot!

Uozumi (see red arrow above) - he's seen loads of times but this is the most prominent one

Aiwa, with Moroboshi being easily spotted because of his hairstyle and his crossed arms

Daiei Gakuen - With Tsuchiya also easily identifiable because of his haircut

Tetsu - he's actually seen at least 6 times in the first half of the movie

The Kanagawa reporters, Aida and Nakamura

Tetsu again and Kawata bros' mum in the pale yellow polo (looking indeed bigger than most people LOL). Also in frame: the university coach and player (in white shirt and green polo).

Kainan - you can make out Maki (darker skin), Kiyota, Jin, Muto and Miyamasu (right behind Muto)

the hunt (2020) is 2/3 of a goofy gory extremely-shallowly-political-sorta horror movie stapled to a third act that turns it into a weird kind of genius. actually putting in a cut for spoilers bc it is best Experienced, but

like it's going along like haha heads blowing up people saying recognizable conservative and liberal buzzwords and it's really all people believing what they want to believe and using different justifications for what they'd be doing anyway, right? it's just... just...

...what if in the end, it just came down to two women whose real motivation, whose driving force, is simply rage, is simply the animal desire to kill, the need to take all this uncivilized visceral hunger for violence and put it somewhere, find a worthy opponent to exhaust it on, a real fight with life on the line? what then? what if they ripped apart the facade of a perfect upscale kitchen as they beat the shit out of each other, drawing blood and grappling each other in paradoxical intimacy? what if I impaled you on the double-edged blade that you impaled me with? and we were both girls? and what if you hissed, elated, "I got you," and I, blood on my mouth, whispered back, "I got you too."? what if, in the end, this isn't about winning because you have the right beliefs--it's about who's alive and who's dead. and i lived. and i ate your fucking lunch and took your clothes and your shoes and your dog and your private plane, because I won. because in the end this is actually just about animal hungers, violence and violent intimacy, the sheer primal pleasure of winning. also i chugged your 1mil champagne and fucked a stewardess

also, as a huge fan of kuroko no basket (one of my faves/comfort animes), Slam Dunk makes that look so ridiculous LOLLLLLL. as a somewhat avid NBA fan, I'm really liking how much more realistic this is. also the animation is STUNNING

pls pls do yourself a favor, go watch it if it’s showing in your theater in your country! it’s the best movie i’ve seen in YEARS. and don’t worry if you don’t like basketball or sports, i didn’t and i fucking cried at the end, i was so invested
