Can the Metaverse bring benefits to developing countries?

What is the Metaverse?

There is currently no universally accepted definition of the metaverse. Broadly speaking, the Metaverse is a fusion of physical reality and extended reality (XR) in a timeless, shared virtual space. XR technology is a general term for augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality technologies. The Metaverse provides a virtual space for interaction, connection, sharing and collaboration. Cities in developing countries can pilot the redesign of urban spaces, including slum redesign, with the help of architects and gamers who collaborate in immersive spaces. Use the immersive experience to solicit input from residents on design alternatives. The redesigned commercial space can be sold in the virtual world, and its ownership can be transferred to its physical twin at the time of execution, thereby generating income for urban development.

The most important point is that developing countries can consider formulating national strategies on digital twins, because digital twins will become the cornerstone of the Metaverse in the future. Currently, the UK, New Zealand and the European Union are working on developing policies and initiatives to promote the development of digital twin technology. One this page if the Sandberg binder, got to be a bad photo, but not much going on.

Got the Team Cubs card, 1993 Topps Stadium club which is a neat card to start of the page. You can kinda see the mini '92 Donruss Cracker Jack card. Comes from a small 36 card set that I don't own.

The Fleer '97 card is probably my top card for this page. I just like the photo the text and feel of this paper thin card. The '84 throwback would have been considered but they used the same photo for the head shot.

The Sweet Spot Classic by Upper Deck is ok, cool thing is I found that Topps Gold Measures of Greatness card.

Taking look at the backs of the card, I notice I am getting blinder by the day. Asides from that Ryno's made an error in 1993, which was boosted about on the back of the 1994 Topps card. Haters! Ryne was named after Ryne Duren, which I knew.

The 1994 Topps MoG card, does sing Ryno's praises though for being a solid defender and a power bat. Lastly, what really jumped at me was the realization that Sandberg started his pro career in 1978, I was only 3. But also this meant that he was in the farm system for 5 years before his first full season.

Personally, I think that is a good amount of time in the minors. A lot of development happens there. Now a days it maybe to much time. Why? Well, most kids are in baseball training camps developing their game at like 9 or 10. So they might be as good as they are going to be in the once the hit the pro. My baseball practices were way easier than today travel baseball team's.
