Work Immersion in Perfect Clean General Services(PCGS)
Week 1
This week marked the beginning of my immersion experience at Perfect Clean General Services. I spent the first few days familiarizing myself with the company's operations, meeting the team members, and learning about the various cleaning services offered. I shadowed experienced cleaners during their tasks, gaining insight into the intricacies of professional cleaning by observing their techniques. By the end of the week, I felt excited and eager to dive deeper into the world of cleaning services.
Week 2
During this second week, I began taking on more hands-on tasks under the guidance of the experienced team members. I participated in residential and room cleaning, learned to scan, print, and photocopy paperwork in the office, and handled telephone calls. I also helped rearrange documents and check various office tasks. Today is my last day at Perfect Clean General Services, and while it feels tough to leave, I've gained valuable experience and memories. I want to thank Mr. Alan Bucao and the staff for their support and positive attitudes. Thank you for being part of Perfect Clean General Services. May God bless us. Goodbye.

In My Immersion Era
I have always thought that the concept of putting students through on-the-job training (OJT) was only for those who are already in college. I continued to think so until the implementation of the K-12 program. Now that I am experiencing first-hand what I only used to ponder over when I was still a junior, I can confidently say that it is a force to be reckoned with.
Having been assigned to the City Legal Office of my city’s municipality, pulled me out of my comfort zone like gravity. The atmosphere in the workplace emanates the vibe of true formality and intense seriousness. You could really tell that what they do requires strict competence and above-average skills. Being in a room full of actual attorneys and soon-to-be ones exacts pressure on mere students such as myself who just wish to complete 80 hours (about 3 and a half days) of work that our subject in Work Immersion requires of us. Of course, this is what we signed up for the moment we listed down “Political Science” as our preferred course in college. And this journey is made specifically for us to overcome hurdles in pursuit of our dreams and ambitions.
The first day bore us to death when all we had to do was sit down at one corner and observe how things functioned inside the City Legal Office. But for us, it was literally just watching the walls, the hands of the clock point at 5, watch as the room darkened as it gets late. Everyone was busy doing their own thing, clumped up in each of their own cubicles. We were bench players in the NBA Finals. Only getting seconds when the starting 5 gets either injured or ejected from the game. But then again, I thought to myself, “we’re only grade 12 students.” The best work we students could do was the grunt.
But that all changed when Sir Ferdie (one of the department employees) approached us and offered to teach us the ways of the xerox machine. He must have noticed our heavy faces and droopy eyes before coming to us. From that point on, we were able to learn so many new things that weren’t really legal work, but the basic stuff that any legal worker should know. From operating a photocopy machine up to how we should address the different problems that come to the office. We were also able to handle civil and criminal cases (we didn’t handle them just inventory work). Our life as immersionists made a huge 180 degrees all thanks to our millennial-wannabe supervisor.
We only have two workdays left in our Work Immersion. My eyes were lit to the reality of working as an employee of the government. I met people that I thought I would least get along with but turned out to be a best friend. Just as much good there is within work environments, there also lies behind it the harsh and cruel situations they must face daily for the sake of survival and provision for their families. Truly, for us students, it is difficult for us to expose ourselves in such environments. But I believe that we are among the fortunate ones to have an early understanding of what kind of life we’re working hard for in our academics. A spark of ambition moves in us, shining brighter now more than ever compared to our pre-immersion selves.

IN MY IMMERSION ERA
In a 4 days experience in work immersion I felt safe, approached, and good. There were 4 sections that me and my co-immersion worker should get to be experience, every single day to spend in the field of this kind of experience makes me more motivated and give extra effort to serve and learn. Everything makes sense in different way to handle any kind of responsibility to be task for you in that day. But each responbilities gives different kind of skills to think and learn of, cause it's really something you need for a future job you'll get.
A lots of people you will met, different situations of personalities ever met, and you who will be a need to make the work easier. I would say it's really a privelege to have this experience I learned and still learning many things to be prepared what I could possibly get to do in my work in the future. Good Approaches and disciplined way of talking you should do for serving people would be the best thing I experienced, I remember meeting an 80 and 82 years old couple partner who was both from pangasinan, they were the ones that makes my work immersion unforgettable, while talking and helping them I felt like a biological grand-daughter of them it felt like they're my grands, they also gave me 20 pesos that values a thousands for me, I was so touched and grateful!
Such a magnificent experience to remember.. Sometimes I felt pressures in every obligations that I have, in home, in school, and spiritually. Ofcourse I know I should treasure these things cause though of the tightness of schedules I have, it will wave away by time and I will someday miss this feeling. Every leafs that leaves from the wonderful passed by tree to feel the fortunate different somethings' and reality. I am a dependent girl of an ingenious Ungraduated parents that lives in a simple life. I could imagine myself being an independent woman but still living with my old house.
In my work immersion, I felt unfortunate thought to wish, that I could make more time to learn so many things so that I could also make time to observe different type of people. I never imagine to have this warm approach by those well practiced persons /workers there. It gives me experience, attitudes to have in practicing to be in prosperity, especially the good examples of people their really make us see what to be of being what you call good worker. Though the experience will continue and days will more spend with them I wish I serve, observe, and could give my all effort for the limited time in my hand that I could give to them.

WORK IMMERSION JOURNAL: POLICE STATION
(1st WEEK)
First day, I and my partner was assigned at the investigation room, so far we dont have any tasks yet, we are just observing from the environment and we still dont know what they are doing on the computers. Perhaps we are not allowed to operate so. There is one OJT from talisay college and he just plays on his phone and staple papers, maybe because he is also not allowed to look at the documents as its confidential. Next day we're assigned to assist in the police clearance section (me and my partner) and we did both have fun talking with different strangers and learning something from them. Remaining days were the same and the last day of the 1st week we had some kind of a forum/reporting about our learnings and observations on our first week in the police station. Overall, the first week was so much fun and overwhelming at the same but in a good way.
(2nd WEEK)
There were other immersioners from different schools along with us, they were from Talisay and UC. There are a lot of us already in the station and it kinda looks like were a swamp of bees on a small beehive doing obviously nothing for we are a bust crowd and dont have specific tasks to do. Honestly, Im quite overwhelmed by how many of us already that day and i cant really work through my way and thought that its foolish to have us this many because the station is just small. Though looking at the positive side, Ive met new friends and talk to them so nicely that we've got quite a bond together. We participated to some Zumba's, eat lunch together, and stroll together on the park through our free time. I've learnt a lot honestly from my friends, there is something in them that is missing in me before but they somewhat made me think that i already filled that void by just being with them and learning as i go along the days. They were fearless, confident, smart people and i thought the opposite quite frankly the first time i met them, I was wrong obviously. They're much smarter than me, Life Smart. And that is what i learnt from them the most. I actually miss them, the station, the laughter we shared, the lunch time memories, the ate's and kuya's from the station, all of it! I am so much grateful for that opportunity to be able to look at life in a new perspective and to be expose to the reality of what a job looked like in my future world, now I am excited but nervous at the same time and I am looking forward to meeting my immersion mates in the future looking at our different life avenues and think of the memories we shared in that memorable 2 weeks of our senior high school journey, cause I so much miss everything of it!.

(Work Immersion Experience)
Dear diary,
In this blog i will share my Work immersion experience. Using my writing and my pictures, i will describe the best and challenging moments of my Work immersion to prevent my essay to become lengthy.
Day1
Tumblr media
: On my first day on the Work immersion i actually feel anxious, because i am five minutes late on my first day. However gladly our supervisor and mentors are also late, eventually in that case i am not consider late(for now). Further more one of our mentor immediatly gave me and my colleages some particular task, yet they divided it into two groups; first for all girls they must work in the "HR" stuff which is paper works, second for all boys they must assist at repairing a printer or helping our mentors to refill the ink of the printer.
Day2
Tumblr media
: On the second day of my Work immersion their is nothing particular or any special events happen during this day. Except one, me and my colleages decide to take some photos in our working and yes it is quite hilarious. Just like this one.
Day4
Tumblr media
: The fourthday of me being a good employee on our Working place. The special moments on this day didn't happen during our working hours, instead it happens during after our working hours. I rather to consider this scenario because being attach with your co-workers or colleages(which is my classmate afterall) is one of the great values you need to learn if your in an actually field.
Day7
Tumblr media
: On the seventh day, me and my colleage suggest to our mentors to actually teach us how to manupilate the materials and components of the printer itself. Our mentors gradually teach us little by little, instruct each part and analyze the anomalies, and gonna be honest i learned alot during that day.
Day8
Tumblr media
: The eight day, this is the most scaries and happiest day in my working place since i got choosen to repair an actual functioning printer. I did not only repair some small casualties, i literaly need to to repair and assemble the whole thing, despite the lacking of knowledge of "what am i doing?" After an hour or two i finally fix and assemble the printer without any anomalies. (Perhaps)
Day10
Tumblr media
: This is the last day of our Work immersion. In this day our mentors and supervisor didn't want us to work much since it is the last moment for which one of us to see each other. They just want to atleast hang-out with us for a little bit of time, and during the final hours of our schedule we all took a group photo together.
(Thank you for understanding, im pretty sure some of the photos in this blogs is not mine, yet i hope you wouldn't report me for doing a school project.)

“DEEPER DEEPER” -ワンオケロック
Below are the lyrics of the song Deeper Deeper by One Ok Rock that sums up the struggles of my Work Immersion experience:
( I couldn’t have picked a better choice than this because it hits every part where it hurts)
Another step up It’s takin’ takin’ takin’ takin’ long Always digging It’s gettin’ gettin’ gettin’ gettin’ get it on Wherever you stand just start to walk Everywhere you go goes round and round It’s coming back to what I know The deep, deep, deeper we go Feeling alone but it’s oh so simple Let it go Dim dim dim, the light’s low But not blind, I can see the symbol Let it show Mighty story, don’t hide it from me People will say they’ve gotten lost all the time Just pretend not to notice So to have good good days MV:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcBBNB5JTOQ YT Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzycs8MqvIY4nXWwS-v4J9g Website: http://www.oneokrock.com/

OUR WORK IMMERSION
Narrative Report
We choose Information Technology as our course today. We know that IT is not easy to take up with but we are willing to take this course because, we love using computer by means of surfing internet, playing games, and so on. Ma’am Felma Manligoy is our Work Immersion Adviser, she assist us and instruct us also on what we are going to do on the agencies we belong. Nervous that is the first word came up on our mind of our work immersion or called On the Job Training (OJT) because, this is our first time to have an immersion and having an experience on it.
In our first day we meet Ma’am Rowena De Guzman and Ma’am Benedicta the employee of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) at San Fermin, Cauayan City, Isabela. Both of them and all of the employee in DAR are jolly and hospitable person. They welcome us wholeheartedly, afterwards they distributed us into different offices. Marianne Marinduque was distributed at Administration Office to be specific in Personnel Office with Ma’am Rowena and Ma’am Nida, Patrisha Malou Uy distributed at Accounting Office with the Head of Mr. Ricardo Bancop, Christian Thorley was distributed at Supply Unit Office  with Ma’am Carmen Alonzo, Micha Pumpa was distributed at Cash Service Office with the Head of Ma’am Magdalena Ranchez and with Ma’am Mirasol Pascual, Clarisse Nica Pabigayan distributed at Beneficiary Development and Coordination Division Office and lastly Darren Calueng distributed at Operation Office.
We introduce ourselves to the employees and also themselves too. When they distributed us, we finally started working with such many paper works and we arrange it alphabetically, using the typewriter, filing those papers, photocopying it, inserting those folders into the shelves and mostly encoding data’s. Almost of the work immersion student’s are participating on the said agencies and doing great as of now.
Every Friday we don’t have work immersion, so sometimes we miss those jolly and kind employees of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).  For one week of our immersion we feel the warm welcome of every employees in DAR especially our own Ma’am’s and Sir’s. work Immersion gives us responsibility how to communicate other people, be dependent sometimes and discovering new things that we didn’t yet discover before.

OJI Blog #1| Day 1 of 9
Today is tuesday, February 12, 2019 and it is our first day in our work immersion. Well, new day, new tasks and experiences ahead! I woke up early in the morning having mixed emotions which are probably excitement and nervousness.
8 A.M was the official time to start our duty in the Miagao Health Cooperative Clinical Laboratory. Since first impression lasts, we made our best not to be late. Upon entering the labororatory, I was still observing and a bit uncomfortable but the genuine and amazing staffs immediately made us comfortable by giving us a warm welcome through introducing their selves.
We were first oriented by Mrs. Nuñeza, the Chief Medical Technologist about the things we should do inside the laboratory. Throughout the day, we just first observed the processes and practices that they perform inside the laboratory. They taught us about blood sampling and its process as well as how to use the microscope in determining if the infection is caused by bacteria or virus during urinalysis.
I had learned few things this day and I hope for more this coming days.

My Work Immersion on Samar
Where should I started it?Hmmm, I think I should start it in getting ready, packing all my things that is needed for my 2 days work immersion in Samar. I felt so excited at the same time a little bit nervouse because it was my first time there. After preparing myself and my things, I went to school with my classmates we're all excited in our next journey. While travelling using a ship (Fast Cat) going to Samar we also saw the machines that helps the ship to move. When we arrived in Samar we first went in the hotel  our Instructors told us the rules and regulations in our staying their. After that we take a rest, then we go outside to saw beautiful views and that was so refreshing. The next day I prepared myself because that's the time we're going home. We used again a ship (Fast Cat) while travelling some of the crew explains differents things about the ship that makes me more inspired to study-hard more. While travelling we also took a pictures for memories with my classmates. Though it was just a 2days immersion I am still happy and I've learned many things that I csn used in my studying. Success doesn’t come to you. You go to it. So just like the ship just go with the flaw even the wave is small or big because at the end it will bring you to the place that you deserve.

Work Immersion Experience
First day of my Work Immersion,Monday I was really nervous on how to to be socialize our older co-workers, I don't know where to start either I talk to them how to make cakes or just keep silent waiting them to approach me, but after one of the worker approach how to flaten the fondant and I easily catch it up.
I little bit not being shy to approach our older co-workers because I see that they are kind and approachable, of our second day where in ground floor which is in baking area, by the way we're work at KayDy Cakes. So after that our work in ground floor is how to attached paper parchments and how to measurements those ingredients of the cakes.
We are in the second floor which is designing of cakes, making topers using fondants. They teach us how to make topers of the cakes, so many process it will surely you will learn.
We're in the ground floor, by the way, for you don't get confused we are all 8 ojt's, they divide us in to group with four members, every group is switching in area of ground floor and second floor, so in my group we're in the baking floor still repeating the process attached parchments and measurements of ingredients, cutting cartoons.
Repeating those process, I actually learn something that I never experience, about being in work in 10 days I actually learn that those works ain't just simple to learn, it takes time to learn like flatten fondants, making topers with any design, etc. But the most important that I learn is team work. Having team work is the best to make the work perfectly fine. It's not about competence is about how you handle your works and co-worker. Our older co-workers who was the one who teach us they never yelled as, they we're so kind thats why I love them. Meeting those amazing people is having wonderful moments.

1st day of Work Immersion
I just did my best. I was really patient doing the tasks that was given to me. Today is my first day, yet I've received 60 items to encode. Mehn, that was really tiring. I worked for 11 hours. And I think that was pretty good. Even if it's tiring, I don't care. :)
