A knock rang through Professor Soren’s class, the room currently lying empty of students. Xander didn’t know Soren well, despite that fact, something about the mage drew his attention. Perhaps it was the fact that the two of them were often seen as stoic, sometimes even intimidating. He knew something so far as friendship was a long shot, but he still wished to build a good relationship with him. Back at home genuinely socializing with people outside of his circle was something rarely done, Xander had little clue what exactly he was doing. That didn’t stop him from at least trying.

With how frigid the weather had turned he figured it may be a kind gesture to bring him some sort of warm beverage. Temperate heat emanated from the cup giving a comforting sensation– tea was the safest option. Perhaps he should have simply asked beforehand, though that may be awkward and there was a good chance the mage would simply turn down his offer. Such a gesture would normally be strange coming from him, however, it was the holidays and it was customary to treat those around you kindly during this time of year. 

The royal creaked open the door, meeting the other’s gaze. “Ah, greetings Professor Soren. I do hope today has treated you fairly.” Xander awkwardly entered the room, “I do not intend on taking up too much of your time, I understand that you’re busy. I simply desired to offer you a warm cup of tea– and give you my well wishes for the holidays.” He set down the cup gently upon Soren’s desk before instinctively bowing. 

Something sparkled in the corner of his view, he glanced. There it was, that bright evil plant that has been troubling members of the monastery! It menacingly loomed above them. Lately, a mischievous bunch had been laying out mistletoes all over the place. This was NOT funny, he had no idea how anyone could find amusement in putting others in such awkward situations. He took mental note to hunt down the instigators of such an act. 

Xander decided that it was best to pretend his eyes never landed on that festive devil in the first place. Though he didn’t wish to disrespect their tradition, he was not about to sour this interaction with something as utterly insane as a kiss.

you know what, buffy and faith should`ve kissed. fuck it, spike and faith should`ve kissed. buffy and spike shoud`ve kissed more. it`s fine, it`s okay, buffy has two hands to hold them both and spike is used to being in polycules. and willow and cordy should`ve kissed. willow and anya also. tara and buffy!! faith and willow should`ve definitely kissed. xander deserves no kisses, he only can spy on angel getting his teeth knocked out and then being kissed fiercely by spike on the lips.

I think one of the worst moments in buffy history is them framing xander's speech about riley in into the woods as like... correct in any way. it makes you really dislike Xander (even more). Buffy's boyfriend literally cheats on her with vampire prostitutes lol and then tells her that if she doesn't forgive him on the spot he's leaving forever. and then we're supposed to buy that Xander is correct in saying that it's all Buffy's fault and that she should run after Riley to beg him to stay?

It's sooo infuriating how Riley is framed as 'the one who got away' when really he's 'the one who was so cripplingly insecure that he couldn't handle his girlfriend being stronger than him and having her own problems because he's made his entire identity about his girlfriend instead of getting the fuck over himself'

the real reason why xander doesn't want buffy to dump riley's ass as she should is so clearly because he projects onto riley. subconsciously he thinks that if someone 'normal' like riley can be with buffy then he also has a shot. newsflash it wasn't riley being 'normal' it was riley being an insecure condescending freak just like u

Vida and Xander discovered they were Bisexual because of their cafe “rate that person look” discussions but how it started.

Vida went through magazines a as a preteen and early teen. She liked looking at boys but then found herself looking at pretty girls. Both of them made her chest feel warm and her face turning red. Her dad made a joke about her face turning red so she ends up just looking at the magazines in private wondering why she feels like this.. She kinda denies it at first since and some classmates were already saying she was a lesbian for her short hair but.. it always crept in the back of the mind

Xander got invited to a party, surprisingly. Not sure how he got an invitation but he went. He found the girls there beautiful and tried flirting with them. The girls eventually leave Xander but a guy approached him. The guy starts flirting with him and Xander felt like he should be disgusted.. but he wasn’t. He found himself liking it. The guy kinda gets close to him, to the point where Xander is pinned to the wall and he feels himself turning red, and hot. The guy does get off and walks away but Xander feels his heart racing as he stares in the guy, shaking his head. Should he be feeling that way to the guy.. he is kinda cute. He was mostly know for trying to hit on the girls in High school but sometimes, he’ll catch himself staring at guy, thinking he’s cute or handsome

Aww 🥺 I love cats!!! We had a mama cat we called Gatita who gave birth behind one of our sheds and her babies grew up around us for a few months. We wanted to adopt them but didn’t get to and ended up having to take ‘em to our local shelter.

things that i like to believe would have happened if jenny calendar lived

she would have housed faith (probably would have seen a bit of her younger self in faith, an aimless and angry teenage girl, and said "get this diva out of the motel and into my apartment, im adopting her")

s4 chilling with giles as empty nesters (this also would have helped with the writers not knowing what to do w giles after season 3)

bottle episode where jenny and giles have mysteriously disappeared (circa spike living with them?) and the scoobies start to kinda briefly fall apart in their absence. most of the episode is set inside of giles' apartment. willow knows jenny was experimenting with interdimensional magic research, and panics that they accidentally have been sent somewhere else. the scoobies reach a breaking point and tara and willow are about to attempt an insanely dangerous spell to find them when jenny and giles return, married, after eloping in vegas. they had left a note that spike had thrown away as a way of causing a mess because he was bored.

running gag that she is always hating on riley + the initiative ESPECIALLY when riley is in the room

she would also help hack the security system for the initiative

would be the first to clock the queerness of willow and tara's relationship
