Anyone else having issues with the Oblivion Remaster in ICloud on Xbox?

My other iCloud games work but not this one.

I run my xbox audio thru to my desktop and it was working fine the other day, but now I get nothing from it. I checked my cords and settings and nothing changed. I restarted pc and my desktop multiple times with no change. I get other sounds with the desktop, just nothing from the xbox. If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it

Rambling about the Switch 2 because I have thoughts.

To start off: for someone’s first console, especially a child, it’s a fine choice. Decent graphics, can be utilized in various ways, nice library, and parental controls.

However, like many other people have said. Price is way too high for the base price of the majority of the games. Like Mario Kart is fucking 90 dollars, a kart racer! Sure it’ll be bundled when the console launches, but 90 can buy groceries, close to a week’s worth.

I know it’s a launch title, but I kinda hope Sonic CrossWorlds is better than Mario Kart. Since I know it will be cheaper.

Though I’m a little confuse on the new system they’re doing in regards to the key card stuff. I heard it’s piracy reasons. But I think it’s just a sucky excuse to further increase the price of games when the minimum digitally and usually $80 now.

Like why??? The reason I buy physical games is that so I don’t need to worry about using up space on my system. And is the transferring of switch to switch 2 games free or will I have to pay for that too?

Granted it’s not for all of the games, so why only a select few?

The switch 2 game ports are odd as well. Happy for the people who are getting new content, but why can’t you make a dlc for the base game? One of the games I’ve saw being advertised is literally just an HD upgrade with no feature. Cool that I can buy the expansion pack separately if I already own it, but that just gives people reason to buy the switch 2 if they really want to play a few new mini games.

Though the only one I see that is worth getting is the Kirby Forgotten Land one.

I think it’s dumb that I need to pay for what is essentially a digital interactive instruction manual though.

Lots of games that are not Nintendo’s IPs are getting “remasters”, cool. Though what if I own a physical copy of the game, can I still get the upgrade? It just feels really off since the console is very similar to its predecessor. While also innovating on other aspects of Nintendo’s previous consoles (snes mouse, mic/camera). Still makes me wonder what’s next after the Switch 2’s lifespan is done and what will happen to these key exclusive games.

Preservation sure is fun. Hey Nintendo how about you release a more accessible way to play your older titles? I have still have that snes classic edition you’ve released before. :)

I’m a little surprise about the introduction of having online chat and video functions though. Considering that they’re very cautions about that sort of stuff with their audience. Clearly not every parent knows of or knows how to use the parental controls app right? Even so, I’m assuming this limits to people in your friends list or something like that to be certain of who you’re playing with.

Besides the money stuff, I’m really iffy about how they’re going about doing game release and the key system.

decided to remake my Ataashi Adaar for pc since i only ever played her on xbox 360 (so couldn't do any of the DLC) way back in good ol 2015. good news is so many mods so i can finally make her match how she existed in my head (she was the first inquisitor i planned out tho i changed to lavellan when i learned solas was elflocked lmao). bad news is i still managed to make So Many Errors in the cc and hhhhhrrrggghhh cannot fix any of them til Skyhold which is gonna be foreveerrrrrrrr uhg.

anyway long ago i tried Bull & Sera for her romance and neither fit at all (i use mostly the aggro options for her and BOY does the sub-y and silly tone to those relationships NOT fit) so this time imma try Blackwall bc at least he has the "please step on me" vibe that will be so crucial here i feel

It is a commonly known fact (and/or rumor) that arcade sticks were positioned on the left side of the controls in arcade cabinets because right-handed people are less dexterous with their left hand, so it would lead to more game overs and more quarters spent.

Now, in 2025, why is it that it is impossible to find an arcade stick for sale where the stick is positioned on the right side of the controller? We don't have the limitations of the arcade anymore. If we're able to control our movement more accurately with our right hand, why the hell is nobody doing that.

I guess I'll need to make a custom stick to see if this theory tracks, but is it not kind of crazy that these don't exist in abundance? I've already done some light testing on a keyboard, moving my movement keybinds to the right side and my attack buttons to the left, just to see how my brain would handle that swap. And it went well! Felt natural! Maybe because I grew up in the computer lab playing platformers with the arrow keys on addictinggames.com, but still!

found a vitaar to disguise the cc's blush crimes 😤 anyway this is the first time i'm playing DAI on an actually high quality laptop (first was xbox 360 which was poor graphics/didn't even bother rendering extras on the landscape, then my workhorse but cheapish gaming laptop i used for 10 entire years and which was wheezing its last breaths). did you know there's FLOWERS everywhere in the hinterlands?? not for me before! also, if you dick around long enough, Solas makes a pointed comment like "Shouldn't we be heading to Val Royeaux now to close the breach???" which i assume was dialogue patched in after release when everyone got stuck in the hinterlands for 10 hours. hush Solas im trying to fuck up the local ram population.
