I know I've been radio silent for a while. Sorry for that! I have been dealing with a spout of hard creative burnout, which made drawing and writing just a pain, but I think it's finally clearing up. I have or am starting a brand new fic, though I don't expect it to be even close to the length of YGBTFTS. Though it is not Scream-related, it is Fallout-related, so I will not talk much about it. But if you are interested in the Fallout TV show, feel free to check it out on my AO3 account. Anyway, back to the stuff you actually care about and why I am making this post in the first place!!

After over a month, I have finally gotten the first draft of the very last chapter for YGBTFTS written up. I only need to bulk it up, edit, proof-read, and send it off for beta reading, and BOOM, I will finally be done! This fic has taken me from early to mid-December to finish, and I couldn't be prouder of myself for finishing it. This is the first time I've committed to something that I have gone out of my way to finish, and I can't thank every single person who has supported me enough for leaving a kudo or a comment on the fic or just showing love in general! I am just overwhelmed in general by everything this fic has brought me, and I can't wait to start something new and continue to build a community here! Anyways, the chapter will still need some time in the oven, but I promise you all that the chapter is worth the wait, and I can't wait to show it to you all! || On a completely unrelated note, a very good friend of mine, @kikiteaa, created this simply amazing piece for me ( all credit of the art shown in this post goes to them!! ), and I absolutely want every single person to see it! Please go follow and support them, as their art is just so good! <3 <3

( Yes the irony of having kikiteas art share a post related to my fic is not lost on me. But they both are on the same level of dopamine hit soooo give and take. )

[ Redrawing my YGBTFTS designs ]

Ao3 actually corrupted the original concept piece I made for the boys but honestly, somewhat of a blessing. I drew that before I had a confident idea of how to draw Billy and it showed so clearly in it. So naturally, I decided to redraw it now that I DO know how I like to draw them. These are the clothes / styles they are wearing until around chapter 9!

Note, this is just how I imagined her, but if you see her differently, you can keep to that. I kept her descriptions very vague, with only a few lil hints to her style. That mainly came out of not really committing myself to MAKING her a character and by the time I had decided I liked her, It was too late to set down a character design description. I may go back and add something to fit this new design but either way, Karen is queen!

"How do you think my Billy will react when I tell him what you've done to me?" Nancy demanded, displaying a bleeding scrape covering her arm as if that was even close to the worst thing he had planned for her. Stu couldn't suppress the manic energy that surged through him, jumping in place and covering his open mouth with his hand.  He slinked down to Nancy's level, keeping the knife out of her gaze but brushing the blade tip over her clothes, just so he could watch up close, the realisation that she was going to die. "He'll probably kill me, Nancy," Stu admitted. "But you won't be around to tell him crap." Stu slammed the blade through Nancy's stomach, and a painful scream ripped out of her in a single breath as her whole body convulsed, eyes shooting open and hands scratching and grabbing at whatever they could, mostly Stu's arms and shoulders. Stu quickly stifled her screams with his spare hand, not wanting anyone to come to her rescue, call the cops, or, worse, for Billy to hear her before he was done.

YGBTFTS EPILOGUE IS OFFICIALLY OUT AND THE STORY IN TERMS OF THIS FIC IS DONE!!

Will we get an epilogue or mini fic about the boys living life post sidney?

Yes!

That's essentially what I have planned for the epilogue! Initially, it was going to be the set-up for the sequel fic and it most likely will still be that, but if I find I can't do a sequel fic ( for several reasons ) then I would love to make a mini-fic dedicated to just Billy and Stu setting up and living their 'perfect little life.'' Very slice of life esc.

I began writing chapter 24 of 'YGBTFTS' and I thought I was on a roll. Words were falling outta me and onto the keyboard so beautifully, so perfectly. I felt the story flow through me, the darkness parted and I could see the end of the tunnel. Except, I was left like that one scene in Spongebob where he's trying to write an essay and all he ends up with is a very detailed 'The' and I ask myself how the hell I spent 3 hours on this and only got 1800 words out and I haven't even got to the second scene yet.

I also started writing chapter 25 and dudes, I don't know what demon took over me, but I wrote the most fked up foreplay scene I think I've ever conceived ( which isn't saying a lot tbh. The Stuilly fandom brought darkness into my life ). Let's just say, Stu's wounds are used in ways no wound should be used. I guess Sharpth1ngs caught me in their fucked up, kinky web ( love them for it doe ) and some other fics I have been reading just added to it. It might not be in the final draft but if it isn't, I will still post it as a one-shot, because honestly??? Kinda tasty. ✍️(◔◡◔)

I'm doing a major overhaul edit of chapters 1 and 2 of YGBTFTS I'm not changing any plot points but the first two chapters are just nasty and I haven't been happy with them for a while. I felt like putting this out there for those who reread my fic and realise the first two chapters are different. Chapter 1 rewrite will be uploaded by at least the end of the day! <3 || In other news about my fic, I have the next chapter aboutttt 40% written. Its all still very skeletal but I have one last project due on the 12th and once that's uploaded, I am free to put all my attention back on writing!! All very exciting!

it baffles me how you got two chapters out a week, if anything- even just the one chapter a week is crazy... like... how. you're overpowered dude.

It was a mix between being on break and having nothing to do but more so, I used the insane power of hyperfixation.

Even I baffled myself that I was getting two chapters out a week since I haven't ever done that before. Like the longest I've committed to a fic has only ever been 2 weeks and we are coming up to month 2 now. 😭

I think the more recent chapters are longer and I definitely spent more time on the editing process than I did with the earlier chapters so that's most likely why I haven't been able to do the 2 chapters a week anymore.

But 1 chapter is do able when I don't want to make my precious readers wait. ☺❤

Hai!! just wanted to say your fics have always been a fun little way to end my night, but the other day I got caught up and read like 4 extra chapters and now i'm patiently waiting for an update with a smile on my face (absolutely no rush I know how it is lol). I hope you have fun writing it dude!

Ahaha! This actually is a perfect little way for me to say that I'm sorry there hasn't been an update yet! I actually have the chapter fully written up, I 100% intend to have it up by today so keep an eye out for that!
