okay what's your bug experience you'll never forget 👀

i grew up in a place that had many angulate orbweavers so i have a big soft spot for them in my heart. i used to watch them do their webs every night, it was my peaceful moment of silence and escape from everything. summer nights, big bright moon, thunder in the distance, the smell of freshly mown grass, crickets and nightingales... i miss it all so much. and i miss my childhood house. now every time i see an orbweaver i get a massive seroponin boost<3 they're so dear to me

however, i'll never forget HER:

she's a big raft spider i found last summer, rare in our places. pulled her out of the oil spot in the river and released near in the safer place. look at how big and pretty she is ;__; i hope she could feel how much i loved her cuz i gave her all the compliments i could<3 also i still a have a little vid of her:
