Also I underestimated the amount of fairy lights needed. I think in order to get the entire thread to glow in a straight line you'd need at least three strings of these. BUT that ended up working out, because as you can see, the bulbs just turn white with the camera. So in this case, this'll be a red thread with emotions rippling up and down it, passing one another.
