Too many of us have tried to tone down our weirdness for friends or partners only to later learn that we were suppressing the best things about us.

There's no joy like the joy of being your strange self and finding that there are people who love you for it.

It doesn't matter who you are. If you are online and able to read this, someone cares about you. Your presence is felt by at absolute minimum, one person. Probably, no, definitely more. There will be someone who would be upset to see you disappear.

You have a wholely unique life, that nobody else will be able to share. Even if you think it's bad, or boring, or whatever, it is something worth sharing. And you're the only one who can share it. There are stories only you can tell, pictures nobody can paint but you.

Life has a tendency to drift towards the better. It might not feel like it sometimes, believe me I know. But it gets better. The bad people in your life will die, problems get resolved. It's easier to think about the now and before than it is the future, and when you look at the past, and now, it looks grim. So turn around. Stop looking at the dark tunnel you just walked through. Look out through the opening of the tunnel.

Look at the sun rise on a better day.

I'm not keen on "chain messages". I think they're annoying, to be honest. However, I received one that was quite heartwarming. Instead of sending to everywhere via direct messages, I am choosing to do it here.
