Trials of Mana remake liveblogging (3/...)

From the last benevodon to the postgame:

I like how the original handled the Jungle of Illusions and Pedda a bit better. I liked having enemy encounters in the jungle (in fact, I spent a while in the SNES version grinding here). I also liked the dreaminess of stepping into an area and the screen going wiggly (uh I don’t know how to describe it) and suddenly you see more signs of a town that wasn’t there before. Having the town be blocked/inaccessible until you defeat 7 benevodons and then you sleep at a ruined inn (why would you even do that...?) and then the town appears isn’t as trippy/dreamy. I don’t know how you would convey the same effect without the screen wave effect (maybe things materializing in front of you?) but it’s very effective on the SNES at conveying that your senses might be deceiving you or that you’re only reliving a memory/dream.

I got very excited seeing young Prince Richard and Duran with a pencil mustache Loki, though!

I’m a bit confused by what exactly happened to the Darkstone here. Shade said it was destroyed and Zable Fahr was released. But Belladonna said the Darkstone was in Mavolia and they brought it back to this world. And we see the Darkstone shatter in front of our eyes right before encountering Zable Fahr (whereas the other Manastones shattered earlier). So is it that the Zable Fahr was re-sealed in the Darkstone after being defeated and then unsealed (again) in the real world after Belladonna and co. transported it? Or are the Zable Fahr and Darkstone we encounter from the past?

The Darkshine Knight encounter was less “feelsy” than the one in my Collection of Mana playthrough, since Duran wasn’t in my party. But I like how he also alludes to the fact that Angela is Richard’s daughter.

Ooh I got a rainbow item seed. I have no idea what that does.

The Crimson Wizard was a bit of a tedious boss fight with his teleporting and spells that knock you down. But ultimately, for both him and the Dragon King, I was basically never in any danger of dying despite not being very leveled up, and only having a partial set of ultimate equipment (especially not with the Crimson Wizard’s link ability equipped on Kevin - so much free MP!).

I feel like the original SNES ending feels both a bit more bittersweet and more incomplete. In the original credits, rather than seeing how the world is coping with no mana (largely it seems like everyone is doing fine), you just see Flammie flying mostly all alone. It’s a very beautiful ending but it also feels rushed/incomplete and very lonely. The remake ending feels a bit more fleshed out but also less sad.

This is the first time I’ve seen Kevin’s ending and I really do not like it. While I like the fact that Karl is in fact still alive (Kevin deserves it) I feel like the whole ending gives a pass / extremely rushed moral redemption to the Beast King, and that’s not what I’m here for! The Beast King is one of the most interesting characters in this whole game because he’s the only protagonist-related antagonist who isn’t being brainwashed into being eeeevil. That makes him one of the legit most grey characters in the game and his psychology and motivations fascinating! But the game just glosses over that, and it and Kevin forgive him too easily. I would have liked to see the Beast King begin the journey to redemption and show at least a bit of remorse for his actions, while also implying that journey is longer than what can be shown at the end of the game. They skip this redemption arc and manage to make Kevin look like an idiot in the process -- I definitely don’t think it should have been done this way. I’m mentally rewriting this whole scene.

That said, Kevin training with Ludgar in the ending was adorable.

I thought I multishipped everyone in this game, but I was wrong. I really did not like the Hawkeye and Jessica interaction in the credits (I’m just pretending this is platonic), nor the ending scene where Angela blows a kiss at Kevin (he’s too young/innocent for her! ToT). It’s actually really funny -- I saw someone on the /r/secretofmana reddit being like “Why was I led to believe that Hawkeye/Riesz was the big pairing in this game when they barely interact and Hawkeye is thinking about Jessica all the time” because like, yeah, I get that there isn’t a lot of interactions and that they’re fairly subtle, but also these games are very platonic, which makes even a tiny hint of romance Very Significant, as well as ANY time there is character-specific interaction or dialogue -- it seems very HMMMM. (Also, I think the remake, when it had to fill in dialogue, played it “safe” by giving Riesz only Elliott-related thoughts and (I assume) Hawkeye only Jessica-related thoughts, rather than drop shippy hints.)

Anyway, I’m in the postgame content and really enjoying the new stuff! I like how the three characters have very different battles and content. Riesz gets a group battle against the guardian of the sphere and gets to talk to her dead parents again, which is really sweet (I hate King Joster’s voice though). Kevin gets a one-on-one duel with his dad which is kind of what I expected from his plotline because of how easily his dad pwns him in the beginning of the game which just sets up a rematch in his arc, so am surprised that this WASN’T an aspect of his story before. Angela also gets a one-on-one duel, but it’s with a copy of herself (apparently the Class 4 version of herself that she will eventually become), a nice throwback to Secret of Mana. Despite the fact that my characters are the three royalty characters, their stories play out very differently.

Riesz’s Meteorite class looks very... Aquaman.

Wow, this postgame dungeon is REALLY long. Interesting how you go through the castles of the six main characters. Lazy level reuse, but I appreciate the sheer length of content here, especially since it gives you the chance to try out the characters’ Class 4 skills.

There’s also Class 4-specific ultimate equipment too! Neat.

Anise wasn’t too difficult. I ended up getting game overed once on her second form because I wasn’t careful, but overall it was fine.

I went back for the Black Rabite boss in the Crystal Desert. I got pwned a lot -- that one-hit KO Jumbonk really gave me issues especially when the four Black Rabites come out and they’re all doing it, but I finally beat it after 20 or so tries. Ended up controlling Kevin again (my healer/fighter) to win this one but probably Angela did the most damage to the Black Rabite by spamming Ancient Curse. What I ended up mostly doing as Kevin was just being more proactive with the healing to prevent the other characters from being KO’d prematurely, as well as attracting the attention of the Black Rabite’s attacks and doing a better job of dodging them. Kevin had dark saber on his fists for maybe a third to a half of the fight so I didn’t do a lot of attacking, really.

Behrouz Boochani is an Iranian Kurd journalist who arrived in New Zealand on Thursday. He vowing never to return to Papua New Guinea (PNG) where he was detained. The book was tapped out on a mobile phone in a series of single messages over time and translated from Persian into English by Omid Tofighian. Behrouz Boochani Detention

Mr Boochani arrived on Australia's Christmas Island in July 2013. In the same month, the country's then-prime minister vowed no asylum seeker arriving by boat would ever be resettled in Australia, even if found to be genuine refugees. Australia says its policies are necessary to deter dangerous attempts to reach the country by sea. Boochani began contacting journalists and human rights defenders outside the camp. He collected information on human rights abuses in the field and sent them via a hidden mobile phone to news organizations and advocacy groups such as The Guardian, The Sydney Morning Herald, Refugee Action Collective and the United Nations. In September 2015, PEN International (the Melbourne and Norwegian branches of which Boochani is now an honorary member and a coalition of human rights groups launched an international campaign on behalf of Boochani, urging the Australian government to fulfill its obligations at the beginning of non-refoulement, as defined in article 33 of the United Nations Convention on the Status of Refugees Several campaigns have urged people to write to Peter Dutton, Minister of Immigration and Border Protection, the Prime Minister Australian and high commissioners. Journalists without borders warned that dissent was not tolerated by Iran's theocratic regime, and that "Boochani's freedom would be in great danger if he were forced to return to Iran." Boochani has repeatedly asked for I handed it to the UN. Found this Pokemon pixel looking mimic haunted house but this is not a gif.

I wonder who made this little friend?

I can see this haunted house be like a Palossand.

Like a normal/ghost or grass/ghost house that blends in with other houses and maybe just be in the woods to eat Pokemon with people that try to find shelter in the rain.

Have this haunted house Pokemon have three forms like a zombie then a infected zombie with a plants growing out then it finds a place to stay that is abandoned like empty land in the forest or a broken abandoned house to become the mimic house once the zombie lays down to rest.

The zombie would be ghost then grass/ghost when infected evolved and when you evolve it by putting the infected zombie in a empty place like the forest to be grass/ghost or normal/ghost or poison/ghost in the city by finding empty space in the city to place the Pokemon to evolve.

I can see this haunted house Pokemon be chill around the trainers that raised it not eating the life force and happily let them live inside the house but if a random person breaks in then the haunted house gets to eat all the criminal.

But if it's a wild one then that's dangerous unless the wild version safe house for both Pokemon and people while not eating all parties.

I know if I had this haunted house Pokemon I'm calling it Homely regardless of gender and if it has a chimney or not.

Maybe make a new ghost move called shadow kick which can kick other ghost with the animation having a ghost zombie foot protrude out the haunted house to lift it up to kick then bring the haunted house out the foundation.

Also have the walk animation be the haunted house Pokemon sliding floating around but the run animation is the ghost zombie limbs protrude out to run similar to humanoid Pokemon.

But I want to make a new healing move called Renovation where the house fixes itself similar to roost or recover but have shadow construction workers animated to fix the house.

Open House is a hp stealing healing the haunted house move where the animation is the haunted house opens the door but waits for the enemy Pokemon to do a contact like attack for a animation to make it seem like the enemy Pokemon was pulled in with the haunted house door closed it's door to quickly trap the Pokemon to spit it out.

And Demolition is a new attack move where the animation of shadow construction workers are summoned and attack a Pokemon.

Like the haunted house Pokemon is this stress toy when running vs it walking but have the stress toy house slide float around.

Like the haunted house is a mobile home like as a surprise to everyone like moving your house to a new location.

Have the house be either electric/ghost or steel/ghost if the infected zombie Pokemon are planted in a futuristic like city to be more smart haunted house like.

The extra type changes depending on where you plant the infected zombie in like the mimic is trying to adapt.

I imagine each haunted house mimic Pokemon form being unique similar to Spinda when adapting like houses in real life like a haunted house near the water has those beams keeping the house away from the water.

The poison type ones are quickly made houses or in polluted areas.

I imagine getting the shinies to all the versions of this haunted house Pokemon's being a little tough if you want the chimney and chimney less versions.

Like have the empty house sized patch of land have the description say.

This patch of empty land looks nice and healthy that would be a good place for something to rest here.

I imagine a trainer in the forest when it's thunder storming trying find shelter just to find a abandoned looking house to crash in then just chills out but randomly finds Pokemon eggs randomly put in rooms then hear the zombie pre evolution with the middle form moving around.

Have the parent haunted house Pokemon just slowly eat on the life force of the intruder with the pre evolution and middle form slowly follow the trainer around to try to scare them out the house or try to eat them.

Have the haunted house uproot itself to walk to a new location.

I would make the plant infected middle form of the zombie Pokemon faint then you bury it in a empty plot of land in any part of the overworld to evolve this Pokemon as a haunted house to regain a little hp like the Pokemon get revived by the land by the soil and the environment.

Basically doing this to your fainted plant infected zombie Pokemon to evolve it into a elemental changed haunted house Pokemon.

When Zable's lifeless body is motionless from making the vessel scared, "died", faint, and the enemy is on top of the character to either push them down or just on top of the character with a weapon will have a crochet water gun.

The crochet water gun will shoot both their body and the enemy's body to make toy mascot costumes that are opposites of what the enemy and the vessel bodies are.

The quality on both costumes are durable due to Fable being included in the dream move with the enemy but if it was the just the enemy then the costume varies in quality from poor to good quality for the enemy but it is randomized.

For example if the character is a monster then their costume would be a human version of the species but has to use weapons to fight back while Fable in Zable's vessel body will be in a monster costume and cannot use manmade weapons.

There will be a gauntlet that both parties needs to complete similar dungeon duos in Mario party 4 mixed with mini bosses each character needs to battle then collect a item from them to enter the end of the battle while avoiding traps.

While both their power levels for both parties are now on even terms strength wise to make it fair.

This is to test how strong are each of the parties are but sometimes it can be for fun to fight like this or for survival and for protection but that won't show up until the end as a random challenge that might not involve fighting but could be a quiz or other challenge.

Win or lose this is just for fun to break the ice with a enemy and to have fun that will relax both parties since they both let out some energy that both parties might return back to normal to hang out to get something to eat together maybe see a movie.

I'm thinking about making a alternate Zable Fable but as a REALTORs in my infected au and this is his fungmammal.

Making a genderbend Zable Fable lure.

Maybe name this fungmammal Dawg Hus.

His type is a very rare one which is randomized so lure can be anything but has a high chance to be a Husk Realtor or the opposite being like my castle house (Castelo Chateau) being like a villain for him.

Also gender changes the lure body if it wants and if this infected realtor was a tree it would be a papaya hermaphrodite tree.

This infected realtor would try to collect parasite ones to use their powers then toss them away.

I can also see this infected realtor checking out yard sales infecting people just for fun and to making infected allies then later when this realtor becomes a husk realtor permanently where the fungmammal is in full control.

This infected realtor's business cards have Papaya fruits on them.

The business card number has 2679 which is Copy in telephone numbers.

This infected realtor also sells the best papayas you have ever eaten that they grew themselves.

This infected realtor eats normal foods, buyers, and inanimate objects but likes eating other infected realtors before they parasite by their hands.

Favorite inanimate foods are parts of houses by just ripping parts of them off whether or not it be from a random house.

If the enemy can't hear then the animals will just attack the enemy.

Even the ghost of the fallen animals will attack the enemy waiting on the enemy to die to consume the ghost version of the enemy.

If the enemy is already a ghost or a ghoul then the predator and prey animals will attack each other to be ghosts to fight the enemy to tire the ghost enemy out to later eat the ghost enemy while the non ghost animals watch.

If a creature tries to eat these animals then the creature might be full since the creature can't eat them all since more will appear out the doggie door unless a huge animal appears to break down the door like a elephant or giraffe.

This might make the enemy food drunk but will try to fight back all these animals while Fable already escaped the enemy while all this is happening.

While all this is happening Fable in Zable's vessel body would have left out the house or place through the pipes of a building or a house then will dog walk one of the random dogs summoned from this random dream move.

Fable in Zable's vessel body will check if the house or place is still there or if those animals ate the enemy while also destroying the house or place leaving rubble behind or vanished out of existence.

Fable would swap places back with a confused Zable holding a dog leash and wondering who's dog this is while trying to find the owner.

might make a fusion looking clone of Zable mixed the appearance of the enemy fused together as a clone to dance with enemy.

If the room isn't living then Fable will just turn the clones into instruments and does the cloned fusion of Zable with the enemy to fight dance with.

Fable in Zable's vessel body will play catchy music on the many instruments that Fable summoned to make the enemy slowly dance to the beat then later dance fight the fusion clone like a boss battle and if the person can't hear then the vibrations will be enough to work.

Only dancing seems to be the only thing that can damage both parties and normal attacks with trying to eat the clone will effect the enemy is a similar way due to the clone being a fusion of both parties.

Whoever wins this dance battle will change how the outcome ending will be once the song is completed like if the enemy wins then Fable and Zable will both be awake with both parties in danger since the enemy gets free hits in.

If Fable wins then this genderless shifter will make the place normal not killing the enemy but will escape by jumping in the piano then make it alive to have it hop around close to a wall to break out of the house or building from the wall or roof to leave in a weird way.

Once Fable captures a ghost enemy or a normal enemy turned into a ghost then once captured they will be trained by the past captured ghost on how to fight since it's their job now.

Seems like their old memories of the enemy are replaced with brand new ones.

(This is from a dream I had maybe like a better version of the AI scientist I saw online. 2/3/2024)

I hand drew him myself and I tried my best on what he looked like in my dreams and he did differ from the AI scientist I saw.

I made a sketch of him that I will Ms paint test color later.

What I wrote down It's about a unknown virus that eats up your mind and body that most resort to being part machine and spliced with shifter Dna to keep their memories.

Also this scientist dude named Eddie.

He made the idea of inner bag realms and the crystal realm jumper clickers everyone in the Zerphra Company uses to travel to new realms or worlds.

Zable's boss cheaped out on a broken crystal realm jumper clicker with a crack in it.

Zable randomly realm jump crosses a unknown world and got Janet which is Zable's translator.

Unknown to Janet she doesn't remember her having a husband but vaguely remembers having kids.

Eddie remembers Janet and is shocked to see his robot sloth body is working while still keeping his wife's body in capsule to keep this mystery illness at bay while his body is slowly getting worse.

The illness is like a mix of a disease that makes body parts fall off and a illness that messes with memory.

Eddie has a monocle and few robot parts but it has half normal human hands with a few robot fingers from a mystery illness that affected his realm.

His face was half robotic and half normal with the monocle is on the human side while his robot eye.

His vision acts glasses like. He has a tanish/ginger root skin color and I would make him Hispanic.

He likes to study languages from other worlds and is Janet's husband.

He tries to learn new things each day to keep his mind sharp and to find a cure to this Illness by buying shifter Dna to try to analyze it to see if the adaption gene can curse the illness.

He does grow insane when he is alone with his thoughts & the stress of finding a cure.

While having his wife's body in the capsule started downloading her memories then Zable realm jumped with Zericon to this world to deliver a order then when she returned back her stepwatch acted funny then her fake bootleg ring glowing then out popped Janet.

Seemed the Janet's robosloth body was absorbed within the ring when the downloading process was happening while also not fully downloading Janet's full memories.

Eddie tries to give Janet clues on who he is but these just go over her head and she finds him creepy.

Eddie still loves Janet and still tries to jog her memories with videos.

He text's Zable's phone blowing it up asking if Janet is okay and always wanting to chat with her.

Janet is confused why this person is so determined.

He is 7"5. Eddie Recordar and Janet Lane are the full names of both characters. Eddie is 45 but looks a little younger from the shifter dna. Human Janet is a black woman and is 40. Human Janet is 5"10 and before the mystery illness happened was a normal realm with a city, parks, and a famous theme park with a cave with the gem stones that are in a raw form before cut into realm jumper clickers. Eddie's favorite foods are Torta's with cactus and menudo. Janet's favorites foods are ramen, menudo, fruit salad, and tortas but with runny egg. Janet was working as a cave tour guide while her husband worked in the ideas department of the cave tourism while also making souvenirs.

Later both of them noticed people were not visiting the caves like usually then everyone started coughing real bad then later the both decided to close up shop.

Later Janet got the worst of the unknown illness down to the point of brain fog then later forgetting important thing but unlike her husband her body was mint without the any limbs missing but the husband was the reverse.

Seems like Zable's upside down blue heart necklace may have pulled Janet away from her world to be with Zable.

Janet is curious about this new character they met in that world but is just wants to check it out and finally tell him to leave her alone forever.

Eddie would just fang smile with a hand on his face at that response with his human eye twitching and will try to calm himself down while giving Janet space.

Eddie will plot to finally finish the memory download but will check on their kids and help them out with their future while slowly loosing his sanity in the process.

He even plots to interview with Zable and trap them while taking Janet away.

Seems like the loneliness, insanity with the mystery illness has fully taken over him.

He will change forms when he wants since the orders he buys are shifter Dna genes but are actually from YipYop the villain of the story.

YipYop also made their underlings release a mysterious mist in the air and in the water that affects the people there.

This forces the people to use their shifter Dna to fully control the people to use as reinforcements to find Fable and bring that shifter to YipYop to finally kill it.

While also giving the people false hope with a cure this illness while returning to normal and healing them.

YipYop explained and Lore Spark Notes Version

Next pic is YipYop a conjoined shifter based off a TopsyTurvy Doll.

Are sister and brother while also conjoined in the middle.

They don't have feet just hands and have both genders.

They are the last of their species and is the villain of Zable Fable's story that was lava preserved in the human museum in realm 12 where Zable Fable worked before becoming a realm jumper and helped Zericon or her dad break out of the museum exhibits.

They were preserved in the first lava from realm 1 like amber to trap them.

Their bodies were displayed like a art piece until they broke free and put a sitcom curse upon only Realm 12 as revenge while also reverting time from 2012 back to 1990 once new years hits.

Since they were watched now the people and beings are now being watched like they were.

Zable Fable realm jumps for the money and experience from her/ all versions of the characters job and for a cure or a solution to this.

The Past Prank War

Fable in the deep past like the beginning when their were more Funny Fellas and Topsy Turvy chimera's had a few of them around.

Most of the Funny Fella played tricks on all shifter types since they were clown themed shifters.

This made YipYop angry and decided to prank back.

The pranks slowly became more dangerous and this is before all shifters could adapt to being badly hurt or bones being all shifters weakness.

YipYop decided to makes a lava wave to wipe all them out but only Fable survived barely but was dying until Fable met Zericon.

Zericon was friends with this genderless shifter and Fable says to keep it's lifeforce in a necklace that was later given to Zable as a present on her 18th birthday this later made this character randomized and separate into different versions when realm jumping.

Each Zable is different and unique.

They are only linked by blood and realities not in one body.

Fable is referenced by the upside down heart symbol each Zable in their design.

Sometimes the stories are different like it's Zable's mom Monique (Meriza) that is the shifter and Zericon is the human mayor named Juleius Jackson.

Fable was the first shifter to adapt then later gave it to Zericon and then later taught the other shifters in a school to adapt but later found out bones were a shifters weakness after trial and error.

To test what the species can and can't adapt too which makes sense.

Since most shifter are boneless but are more slime or cartilage like so they can easily change form without bone breaking.

Topsy Turvy chimera, Fable, and defective ones have few bones.

After the prank war on April 1st YipYop was defeated by being tricked by Zericon to be amber sealed in a volcano lava rock that was later found by humans to be put in a museum in Realm 12 where Zable Jackson worked.

Zericon teleported there to steal YipYop back to be safely put back in a location where they can't wake up and get revenge.

So Zericon changed into a human to try to bypass security but when trying to shift his hand like a key got caught.

Then was shot with bone bullets and tried his best to scratch and push out the bone fragment before he turns to dust because if a shifter is a 1000 years old or older they will turn into dust if all bone fragments are not removed quickly.

He panicked and changed into his back sword symbol to shake the rest out but was later knocked out by a dart from the security and is now displayed in the museum in a cold room to prevent him from shifting or teleporting.

Later Zable Jackson was on the night shift to check all the museum exhibits to see if no one was there after hours but sometimes reads up on the info of the museum exhibits.

Then later found a weird sword and the weird lava rock next to each other with a made up info from the staff.

Then noticed the sword was like the story her mom read to her in shiften and wanted to touch it with her gloved hands.

The warmth of Zable's hands helped wake up Zericon then his sword form floated in air then telepathy asked her for something to eat.

Zable Jackson was making a decent living but not enough to go traveling.

She digged in her pocket and gave the sword shifter a spicy chocolate limited edition bar and that was enough for Zericon to be in his true form.

Zericon was pretty tall for a shifter and it was due to shifters using being tall for intimidation but Zable was pretty tall while her mom was short and her brother was in the middle in size.

Zericon noticed the necklace Zable was wearing and wants to take it but decided not to due to not wanting to anger his mate which was the mayor.

Zable Jackson was 24 years old at the time and Zericon is older than 1000 years old but decided to make his age stuck at a 1000 years to prevent the bone weakness dust from quickly killing him.

Zericon doesn't have a determined height but 6'7 is his favorite height in human form.

Zericon asked if Zable wanted a better career that paid more and you can travel while also meeting people.

Zable wasn't sure who this person is and why he was so nice to her since she wasn't good at making friends let alone keep them but she did have one college friend.

She decided to take this person's offer but they need to get to know each other's names and what they like.

Also wondering who and where her dad is. Zericon wanted to tell Zable that he was her dad but was interrupted by the lava rock sealing YipYop breaking like a egg and finally being free to have revenge.

YipYop created a portal in the sky and flew in to make the world revert realm 12 to 1990s sitcom world with a intro, forced catchphrase, and everything.

YipYop was being watched by people in the museum and now the Realm 12 is now in a sitcom being watched by them and others.

This curse also made Zericon just be Zable's friend and not her dad since it is a spoiler that will unlock the sync with Fable.

Fable knows about Zable but is just a body to them but later after Zable does her interview and seeing the many versions of the character then they slowly started caring about Zable.

Not only as a vessel to the physical world but needed to protect all versions of the character from YipYop or enemies that try to harm them all and will separate to give up itself if needed to protect Zable.

Zable arrived in the Zerphra Company with Zericon.

She recently turned 25 and now is stuck at that age because of the curse but the longer she is away from her realm the more normal while comfortable this character will be.

Zable was told by the boss chimera to not use her real last name so Zericon suggested Fable.

It was pretty hard for her to translate other beings languages so sometimes Zericon tags along to interviews to translate.

Zericon tends to be in a form similar to the locals in the realm they visit.

But one day Zable realm jumped to a world where both her stepwatch and bootleg toy jewelry ring acted weird.

Her toy ring was glowing when she returned home and out popped this robo toy sloth.

This toy sloth wanted to be called Janet and just started eating the fruit in her kitchen.

Zable was interested on where Janet came from so she checked off a list of realms she visited and still couldn't find where Janet came from.

Seems like a outside force brought them together.

Zericon when first seeing Janet found her strange but not a threat.

Zericon uses Janet as a way to be free to do important things like checking up on the mayor to chat with her and get a plan together.

Years past since Realm 12 and everyone figured out when 2012 hits and it's new years YipYop reappears from the portal to search for Fable maybe unleashes their underlings to find that shifter.

Once midnight strikes then Realm 12 reverts back to the 1990s again. The technology also reverts.

The longer Zable is in the Realm 12 the more sitcom corny this character will become and everyone around them.

There is a laugh track from nowhere but outside the realm some of this curse does drip out without control randomly.

Zable when realm jumping is trying to look for someone who can take down YipYop and this curse to finally move past all of this.

If you try to force Zable Fable to say things against their will Fable will stop Zable from saying mid sentence then say try again later.

Maybe hear a faint voice in the person's head who is trying to make Zable say something against their will like.

"They been through enough so quit it will ya." Or make them say it.

If you try to remove Zable's upside down blue heart necklace it will just teleport back.

The necklace won't be worn by a clone or doubleganger because Fable sense's that it's not the original vessel but will float around to find another version Zable or a descendant.

If Zable were to really die like from a humanization of death then Fable will fully take over Zable's physical body then change back to it's original funny fella form but will store Zable's lifeforce in the necklace. Fable will try to find another vessel or to find a wish maker, genie, or a scientist to bring them back if Zable wants to. If any version of Zable wants to pass on they will let them.

The scary thing is that YipYop can just daydream death into existence and defeat Fable but that would be too easy for them.

Unless Zable randomly dreams up a invincibility dream move to counter that. But distracting Fable while attacking and later attacking them is a weakness.

Also proof that Zable swapped places while Fable is dormant will work to stop the dream moves and fighting.

But it needs to be a video.

If you are a lover or friend then a song you both like will work to snap Zable back to reality.

Like if Fable is attacking then the lover or friend can hum or sing a song.

The vessel may nod their head or join in singing but it's Zable's voice but sometimes Fable will interrupt to focus on either killing the enemy or making them flee.

Identity theft is rampant in this realm but there is technology that can find out who is who.

Also if you have a inner bag realm the tech inside stays the same so everyone in Realm 12 owns one so it won't revert back.

I can see YipYop striking a deal with a stalker character or a random character that wanted Zable as their own by giving them a "upgrade".

Maybe lying saying that Zable loves boss battles and the "upgrade" only works when a person or being having a really high angry or sad emotion that will unlock it.

But once unlocked the person or being will be out of character and maybe revert to their beta design.

Kind of similar to Giga Bowser from Melee.

Fable vs the "Upgraded" Forms

If Fable found out the enemy has been "upgraded" by YipYop the shifter would want to destroy this "upgraded" form but not hurt the user of it.

There is one dream move that is constant and only used when this event happens.

Pick on Someone Your Own Size Fable in Zable's vessel body will try to scan the "upgraded" enemy then dodges any attack they have to try to figure out the new weakness of the enemy since YipYop changed the old weakness of the "upgraded" individual.

Then will change the vessel's body or limbs into the weakness then hug the individual while secretly absorbing the "upgrade" form to purify it into a pie to use on YipYop later to defeat them.

The dream move will randomly let the "upgraded" vessel enemy either not know they changed or tell them they changed.

When Zable is swaps back in control they will know what happened and know that Fable exists along with the dream moves.

Zable will try to reason with the person.

I call the purified pie attack is a Puripie.

Doombringer OC

Zeri the 8'7 In gold, silver, bronze, and copper haired huemon has a tail is a beta design of all shifters looks like a stickman.

Also was once a Doombringer which are 13 beings that once summoned destroy worlds and other realms.

Once one doombringer either dies or quits another takes the place of the missing one.

But Zeri quit being a doombringer and decides to chill out with Zable.

Has a pet living purple giraffe mug that lives in his fannypack.

The living mug's name is Provo and he squeaks.

He also can store hot/cold liquids and food the use as weapons.

If Zable Fable realm jumped into The Amazing Digital Circus.

I think it would be similar to the Illbleed version and being Illbleed character low poly with a back mouth.

But the new name would be either Low Poly or Podonex.

I can image Podonex or Low Poly being already glitched out slowly becoming random things.

Having a now loading above their head and chest.

Like those art mannequins or different versions of Zable Fable like a male version.

Podonex would hate Jax though would try to out joke him smartly.

But have a joke where Podonex gets hit by that glitch beast and get changed into normal Sims like character then get snapped back to normal.

"Aww man my face finally got to emote."

" Now it's just stuck until I get hurt which is the only time."

Podonex would just be a low poly human that stands out in the group as the default form.

But the other forms would be Dreamcast and N64 DD styled in appearance.

The door photo would be like the Illbleed ID face but cut in half with a blacked out ? on the right side of a artist mannequin's face like a mask.

Podonex is female but when changed the gender changes with the voice.

But when in the Sims like form Low Poly will stay female and emote but will speak a gibberish language you have to have closed captions on.

Sometimes the translation is wrong and sometimes it's right.

Podonex talks with a blank neutral face while using her/their hands to emote.

Podonex can conceal items the character likes that only this character can see and pick up.

Example.

"Hey can you pick up my coat?"

The other characters can't see it so Low Poly has to pick it up.

"You can't see it on the bed?" "What a shame the coat is here clear as day."

This character is a mixed bag act character and all Zable Fable variants are age 25 as a default.

If the character abstracted then this form would have only blue and green eyes.

And probably would be tripping over itself when getting close to a enemy failing to get them.

The first thing this character would do when glitched hit then glitch fixed by a abstraction is to make a weird smile like this character hasn't smiled before so it's awkward smile.

And will have a weird symbol over her head like a Sims character.

I can see Low Poly or Podonex being like a NPC when talking. Like you have to talk to her/the other versions first then the character will talk back unless you joke about this character then they will think up a good joke to spring it back on you later.

When lost in thought this character will either look up at the ceiling or down on the ground like the model is motionless.

When danger is near this character will look in that direction of where the danger is.

This character's base form isn't strong but will try to make weapons out of random broken items in the world.

This character can dodge but will sometimes trip on themselves.

This is to reboot the model if gets returned to normal after being hit by a abstraction where they have emotions.

Low Poly or Podonex is aware they are trapped so they treat the world like a video game side quest to keep their mind off of it.

When pretending to eat they will guess a food review with the fake food in their head and sometimes not even show up to draw in their room.

They like being a background character then the main character or supporting character.

Too much pressure for this character to handle and likes being used when needed.

When this character changes forms it's at random moments and random things they glitch into that they can't control.

Could be a monster, animal, person, or just a background object where this character can't move.

The time limit is above their head like a mouse hourglass symbol.

Once this character truly abstracts then all these quirks disappear but the tripping and the enemy look.

When making weapons out of broken items this character finds there is a rare chance Podonex/ Low Poly will make a escape portal.

This is a save state to either their room or the last location they were in.

Sometimes the save locations can be great or not so great but depends on how damaged the character is.

This save state escape portal looks like a floppy disk or a memory card with a screen on it.

Podonex/ Low Poly is too long of a name Poly will be the shortened name and the original names are nicknames.

I image this character like being a glitched out firewall or virus software that randomly turns off and on.

Something that protects in the background while people are doing other things.

This character is always curious and wants to know what's beyond the void.

Mostly just walks around the grounds like a NPC until something weird catches this character's eyes.

This character feels like a NPC and a human controlling the same body at the same time but are fighting on who takes over the body.

The normal Sims like character form was supposed to be the player form that Poly was supposed to be but seemed to have fused with the art mannequin NPC when appearing which made her a low poly humanoid.

Poly wouldn't curse but will make fake curse or alternative cuss words maybe smart puns.

The enemy gets three warnings when any version of Zable "wakes" up.

Warning one sounds like a answering machine and it's within the body this is after the mist song.

"We are sorry but this individual can't be here at the moment." "Please leave the vessel alone and we will gladly leave without conflict."

Warning two sounds like the whisper voice on a computer and similar to this Undertale voices.

Seems like the characters are changing places.

"Please let this vessel go. Or you will regret it."

The body will walk out the exit but look back at the enemy with a smirk then leaves the area.

The vessel's eyes are closed until the danger is gone they will open when safe.

Zable is now in control but will be confused how they got there but will shrug it off like nothing happened.

If you trick release the vessel from Fable you will die.

The differences ----------------- Zable in control with tiny mic be like.

"Zable Fable is the name and interviewing is my game."

"You look interesting, can I please interview you for my job?"

"I get paid you know."

Vs Fable in control with eyes closed while getting up after Zable "died" while dusting themselves off be like. "Why did you wake me up?!"

"Oh great you even roughed up my vessel and I will never get my security deposit back."

Some uncanny valley realm jumping au interactions

Zable in ending 3 would feel creeped out about John Doe then was busy getting home if the character has to work at the gas station.

If not Zable would be tired from getting their steps in from walking and interviewing people while also avoid being eaten by Realtors.

But Zable would worry if that dude was okay and will try to find John Doe to make up the date if they want too.

Zable would be interested in how John Doe's whole existence is a thing and ask a butt ton of questions that normal people who be annoyed of.

Zable seeing Doe as like a work of rare art that you just want to know more about history and culture wise but is a mystery.

Also doing a staring contest with Doe with all the versions of Zable with their eyes glasses off holding it while their face is blank in their newly shifted from.

If you wear Zable's eye glasses you can see their memories and basically roleplay as them unless you take them off.

But Zable can't see because their eyes are in use by someone else and knocking into stuff or just falling out things.

All versions will be okay but still hurts.

They need their "glasses" back.

Zable would also be curious about John Doe's many rows of teeth and the fake blood/body fluids thing works.

Also how does Doe form the organs?

All versions would be curious about if regular guys bleed in their base form without the fake human clay mecha suit and where their ears are at on their fake human form.

Nicknames Zable Fable would give John Doe.

Dust Bunny, Fuzzy Guy, Little Buddy, String Bean, Hot Topic, The Creeper, Freakazoid, Jonathan, Johnny Test, J Man, The Twinge for Illbleed, My Sweetheart, Smiley Central, Mystery Man, My little Tribble, Wooly Bear, and Cheshire Cat.

I just had a short dream that my Oc Zable Fable realm jumped into a random comic book world but it was like a cartoon episode where it was like in the middle of it.

It was Captain Smiley stressing out about Star missing and basically stressing out about it.

Zable Fable is like "Don't worry we got this."

While she looked at him lovingly then kissing him then both were making out.

Then my alarm woke me up.

I ship them now since this is another Zable.

My guess was from my fake pitch for a sequel for Comic Jumper.

I wish my artwork was good.

Zable would be the one to ask this to Captain Smiley.

"If you are a Captain then where is your ship and crew at?"

Captain Smiley also reminds me of Captain Falcon but he uses his gun unlike Captain Falcon which just has a gun at all times.

I used Ms Paint to try to make Zable's side so if it looks rough that's the reason why.

Also my art isn't great.

The reason why it says randomized because every Zable Fable is different but the first Zable Fable drawing is the base.

Zable Fable will sometimes randomly change forms when she first shifted but she needs to go to shifter classes to control her powers right.

Zable Fable wouldn't arrive on the uncanny valley bus but would realm jump randomly into either the café, just slamming her body on top of the bus, or just randomly falling in John Doe's revolting slob house then swimming through his/their trash wondering where she is.

Then she would just sink in the trash void Doe has.

When she realm jumps it's similar to the Eric Andre Intros.

Only the gift she/they gift you will jog the memory if you pick the wrong Zable Fable.

Also you need to describe to her if you don't have a video or a photo of the gift.

If there was a bow on the gift you need to say what color the bow is.

If you kiss her like for example in ending 2 of John Doe you will get some of that shifter mist in your mouth but it tries to harmonize with Zable's shifter mist.

Then she will slowly get up.

The most likely mist song to appear when Fable is in control and Zable "died" or is swapped out.

The vessel will attack like they are from that game with their eyes closed.

This character would just angerly stare him down and take off their normal head to reveal John Doe's head back to him to spooky him then the normal Doe's head and later back to her normal head.

It's a reference to the True Ending to Illbleed but Zable is dressed. This video has Eriko edited.

Zable Fable would be caught off guard if John Doe did those scary face attacks but won't be scared of him/them but will pretend to be scared to get Doe's confidence up.

Zable would be scared that Doe's face might freeze up though.

But Zable would be spooked of normal Doe.

Zable Fable would probably kiss Doe when he/they did that ending 4 pose and say " I can stay over if you want since I can interview you for my job since it's only day 1 of 3 days I can stay here."

Now ending 5 Zable Fable would shrug and say her/their name then they get to know each other.

Probably show Doe her inner bag realm with a clear early 2000s furniture and video games.

Ending 2 Zable Fable would be the most scared of Doe since a knife is in play.

She would "die" but get up from her dormant shifter half and fight them off or teleport out of there to not hurt Doe.

Maybe fight Doe Illbleed style with her dual shot water gun she/they copied.

This would play in the battle and mostly from Janet.

Ending 6 would be super rough. Zable Fable would probably try to ignore Doe with headphones or try to interview literally anyone else than Doe even though she/they might need that one interview to power her realm jumper clicker to return home.

She/they will regrettable interview Doe then teleport away only using Doe's interview just to leave without a thanks.

Zable Fable would be scared this pretty person is talking to her/them since normal Doe looks too nice looking and out of Zable's league. Then Zable Fable would love to know what this strange person really looks like.

And say this person has a porcelain mask like fakeness that she/they can sense.

Zable Fable would say "Just be yourself dude and don't change for me. I got something to say to you now get up."

She/they would just pull out a karaoke mic out the inner bag realm and Janet would sit on the couch with this song played while dancing.

Zable Fable would sing to Doe and probably dance with them.

Then Zable Fable would eat the meat gift then kiss John Doe.

Zable Fable in Ending 1 would just be them watching Doe break the fourth wall.

Maybe recording Doe doing this for Zable's stream channel and ask Doe to do a food review with them after John Doe is done.

Zable Fable would say "That was pretty cool. Can you teach me that?"

Zable Fable in Ending 3 would say no only once then say maybe at the following home thing but gives Doe the address to the café instead of the apartment so Zable just ditched them then Doe would have lost interest message.

Because they sat at the café waiting on them to arrive.

Zable Fable's Squad Dynamic

Janet would still be scared by John Doe but slowly gets used to them.

Zericon on the other hand would be kind of overprotective of his kid being with this shifter.

He would test John Doe in both word and fighting to see if they are worthy of being with any Zable Fable.

(Zable Fable doesn't know Zericon is their dad. Since the villain of my story put a curse on her own realm to block that out so she sees Zericon as a friend and not her dad. It's part of the sitcom curse plot twist of realm 12 to fully awaken their full power.)

(Telling any Zable Fable that Zericon is her dad they will laugh it off and call you crazy.)

(Then a catchphrase would come out their mouth with canned laughter afterwards.)

Zable Fable has a item called a copycat which is a cat shaped portable scanner.

It can scan any item down to the detail and food but it needs to be a edible ink to be consumed.

The weapon can be edible if the ink is also edible.

This can't scan people.

Unless it's gingerbread or food people but not humans.

It makes a cat scan of the weapons, food, and food people.

Their blood is red but when shifted it turns purple since they have blue shifter blood mixed with their red human blood.

Zable Fable a few minutes before John Doe wakes up from his/their 9 hour motionless closed eyed nap would place his favorite burger and thickened drink next to Doe so he can eat it when he wakes up.

Each Zable Fable would count down until John Doe wakes up.

Zable probably ask what Doe was dreaming about.

Or if Regular Guys can even dream in the first place.

Also Zable Fable would find the pick up line too easy and cheesy even for them.

"Did It Hurt? When You Fell From Heaven?"

Sometimes Zable would just put the burger in John Doe's mouth to see how he reacts to that.

Zable also finds Doe's chicken like feet interesting that this character commissioned custom slippers online to look like his feet to wear.

This Zable Fable would say. "Hey Richard Roe how's it going?"

"Give me some skin."

Then would do a secret hand shake to know it's the same Zable and not a different one.

I can see John Doe not getting it at first then removing some of his/their clay skin and handing it to Zable then smiling.

Zable would be confused by this then would just take the clay then make a mini me version of Doe then add it back to his/their body.

Then would teach the handshake to Doe.

Maybe making a custom mug out of John Doe's fake clay body that got removed.

If it was John Doe's birthday and Zable knew Doe wasn't into sweets.

Zable Fable would look up a video on how to make homemade meatloaf instead of a birthday cake.

Zable would probably ask why his house is so messy and where is the party stuff is coming from?

Also where should I put the birthday meatloaf?

Then would see the cake Zable gave Doe in the trash pile in his house just getting gross hoping the animals will enjoy it.

(Shifter Dna in my lore is stubborn and even if beings that can't have kids the shifter will make them but just needs Dna from the partner and has to be truly in love.)

It's a fail-safe trait of a shifter just in case a species gets low in population.

The first one is female looking named Zandra and is a dentist.

The second one is male looking named Zeal and is a funeral owner.

The third is male and named Zouglas and is a defective version of the regular guy mixed with zigearimorph deluxe species is more human like.

Zouglas and is shorter than the other two children and doesn't have a clay hollow body or a hair ball form also he's not weak to water but bones still give him problems.

He's allergic to bones, teeth, and the throw away material.

Zouglas wants to be a realm jumper like his mom and he's a junkavore.

Zouglas only eats junk foods but can eat normal food but it makes him gain weight.

All three kids are Demisexual.

Zable Fable needs to eat some of Doe's "hair" and to be strongly bonded with love to produce the kids.

They both have to agree on having kids.

All three kids are attending shifter school to get their shapeshifting powers down right so they can control them.

Zouglas can shapeshift into a Doeball form but it would be like those monster plastic rubber balls since he doesn't have bones but cartilage.

The regular guy looking kids clay fake bodies slowly melt when in contact with water since that's the shifter side preventing that.

I imagine Zouglas having John Doe's beta design pointed nose while his siblings are much taller than him and have different nose types.

All three can shapeshift but Zouglas has a time limit for how long he can do it.

He tends to count down to himself until he changes back.

Zouglas seems to have a tiny bit of the Funny Fella genes left inside of him which is why he seems a little unstable when shifting.

He seems to get spooked very easily especially when getting sneaked up on.

But Janet would tilt her head when Maison Talo says his name then look at Zable with a like "Are you serious?"

But Zable would just want to interview folks for her job but my guess is that Maison would trick them into his house but he will get a rude awakening from Zable Fable.

Janet can make the languages kind of equal on both sides but it will be hard to translate Doe's true name.

If Zable and Doe were a couple Janet would be clinging onto Doe's back so she can hear more angel speak from John Doe to add to the translate database.

Zable Fable be like.

But each Eric Andre intro hits something with their body like the top part of the Bus in the uncanny valley or randomly landing on people if they are just standing there and sometimes realm jumps in houses.

I think it is canon that certain beings can leave the uncanny valley to explore outside the valley.

If John Doe could leave the Uncanny Valley then Zable Fable would totally take him/them on her realm jumping adventures where each Zable interviews and delivers goods to folks.

So I guess a last species half clown shifter that doesn't know that yet as a plot twist of a curse and a fuzz ball goth shifter that doesn't know they are goth can be a thing.

But that's just my Au though.

I find it funny that John Doe doesn't get puns about his name because Zable Fable would have a ton of them ready when returning back from realm jumping interviewing folks for their job.

Zable would slowly try to explain the puns to Doe and he would just be confused.

Also Zable would do the same thing to his weird memes.

Probably writing notes on the uncanny valley humor.

All the versions of Zable Fable have different favorite colors but this one in this Au likes metal colors like bronze, copper, gold, pewter, platinum, and silver.

The reason why the secret handshake is important is that the villain in Zable's story can shapeshift or make a clone similar to Zable but won't know the handshake and it will try to guess.

If it guesses right it will take control of the love interest or friend to kill Zable and Fable the same way they wiped out all the Funny Fellas.

YipYop's movie is called Soul Trick Puppeteer.

It's similar to fail safe but the attacks can be controlled.

YipYop is controlling the victim's body while the user is trapped in a void either a sleep like Zable or awake trying to find a way out but is stuck not even words can break them out of their control.

If you try to break them out of YipYop's control they will let the victim say a few words then take control again.

Maybe saying that it worked and I'm free using the victim's voice as a false sense of security then attack.

Even when Fable is in control it will try to not harm the soul tricker.

Fable will try to cycle through the randomized dream moves to find a attack that will snap the one tricked out of it.

YipYop will dismiss the weakness of the user to guarantee Zable Fable's death.

If the character's main weapon is a knife it will change into hatchet or a sword.

YipYop's victim's eyes will be open but feel soulless with X's in each pupil. The Fail safe eyes rarely open but have numbers cycling through the pupils. Fable will just dodge the attack until they get Friendship.

5 Friendship Fable warns the enemy of something coming but doesn't know what the item is or what could be coming. This confuses the enemy then gets hit by a random boat or space ship that knocks out the enemy then they wake up forgetting why they were fighting then both parties hang out.

This will separate YipYop from the victim which will confuse YipYop but free the victim. The victim will be really tired or sleepy due to the fighting.

It's like dream fighting vs day dream fighting.

After this YipYop will try again to take over the host.

Fable needs to hide the victim and fight their 2nd and 3rd forms.

YipYop shapeshifts by turning their body inside out and both siblings have to agree on a form.

The monster form has to be conjoined or topsy turvy doll like.

The sister and brother takes turns on who is the "legs" when walking. Their size can be human sized to kaiju sized.

The 1st phase is character puppeteering, The 2nd phase is the normal size with form change, The 3rd boss phase is the kaiju sized one.

YipYop does have a tail it's their dress like skin that changes forms when inside out.

Once Zable and Fable are synchronized then they can shapeshift as well.

YipYop Zable's clone will try their best to act like the same character to the love interest or friend is used to but will act forgetful at times or off when certain questions or actions are brought up.

Maybe ask the clone Zable how their day was, or how fast they arrived back, ask where Janet or their translator is.

Maybe make the love interest or character speak their native tongue since most Zable's will try to learn the language instead of depending on Janet.

If the character is a lover then ask questions on how they first met and the gift exchanges that happened.

Maybe a favorite color.

Zable Fable would give Peter the nickname Stickman, Sharky, Shark Week, Megamind, Bear Trap, and Cubeworld.

I think Peter would be tricked by the Zable clone but YipYop would be spooked while controlling him since they see the memories of the vessel.

YipYop is impressed of evil individuals and takes notes.

The heavy paper does seem like a dream move I would make up but give it the Doodlebob where the enemy is trapped in the paper in their default pose or the first pose the enemy was drawn in with a 50/50 chance Fable would destroy the picture, sell, or thrift the enemy away.

Maybe make the paper have heavy gravity effect that quickly pushes the enemy in the paper dimension to be trapped which it's up to Fable to "eat" it to spit them out to release the enemy out but Fable needs a sorry first from the enemy.

If the enemy didn't have a weapon in their first sketch then it won't be with the enemy when the paper gets them and would drop off from the enemy.

I can see Fable frame the enemy as artwork to hang in Zable's realm jumper monster bag inner bag realm room but have Zable swap back to not know where this picture was from and might think that the enemy was their oc sketch from a long time ago not knowing the living enemy.

But I can see Fable in Zable's closed eyed vessel body teleporting back the picture trapped enemy back if this ghost shapeshifter needs as a summon dream move in case it lands on 69 and 420 since no dream moves will happen but will break the picture frame to release the picture trapped enemy to fight with Fable.

Once the old picture trapped enemy defeats the new enemy or helps both parties flee then the picture trapped enemy will be teleported returned back to their world.

I imagine when the gravity prison paper dream move sneak hits a enemy then Fable in Zable's closed eyed vessel body rolls away from Doe or a enemy similar with enemy getting trapped inside of the paper with the first drawing of the enemy being shown unless the enemy says sorry.

Then the gravity prison paper would rip itself apart to reform the enemy back to the current design but Fable would have already left the enemy's area to a safe place to swap Zable back not knowing anything.

If Zable quirk follows a enemy to a danger area that's a sign to flee.

Now I can see Fable quirk making Zable hold a REALTORs lure body's hand never meeting this person before then looking up into the lure body's eyes awkwardly like Fable knows what is going on while watching in the upside down heart necklace but wants to see what the enemy will do.
