This episode (34) leaves such as sour taste in my mouth over how Lettuce was treated by this woman, and also by the writing staff. She was way too nice and altrusitic, and I get that's the point of her character, but it just paints her as passive and to be walked all over on.

Dollmaking is one of the few things Lettuce is truly good at in the anime, similar to how Mint is good at ballet, Zakuro is good at being a star, Pudding is good at doing martial arts, and Ichigo is good at gymnastics. So for this bitch to befriend her only to go "I made this" over her work, deny any wrongdoing, and to let Lettuce and co. get publicly humiliated by her defensive stans, it's aggrivating that she gets away scot free over all that.

This woman straight up says that she had "no choice" but to steal the credit for Lettuce's hard work. Like really? You had no choice??? Lettuce shouldn't have given her an inch, especially given how passionate she was about dollmaking. This was such a weird message to portray, the idea that being credited for your hard work doesn't matter as much as the impact it has on others. Both are equally important.

"The "Pierrot Anime Fair 2002" was held at TFT Hall (Ariake, Tokyo) for two days from Sunday, May 5th to Monday, May 6th, 2002! At the fair, there's artwork from Tokyo Mew Mew and tables selling Mew Mew goods, so fun… but this time, I will be introducing everyone who plays the voices of the five Mew Mew characters. ~My Thoughts on Wonderful Pretty Cure! - Episodes 46-50~

Episode 46 - Meeeerry Christmas!:

This was a pretty typical Christmas episode. I don’t have much to say about it.

We did get some foreshadowing for Zakuro possibly being reformed or purified. I’m really curious if she’s gonna be present for the final battle or not.

I was super happy when we got that adorable moment between Satoru and Iroha. They love each other so much. It would be awesome if Iroha continues to wear that necklace for the rest of the season.

Besides all that, this episode was pretty stale.

Episode 47 - A Gaou New Year:

And so it begins. The final battle.

To be honest, the only thing I’m expecting is to see a giant wolf. Final battles in Pretty Cure always seem to have some giant monster to defeat. But other than that, I have no idea what’s gonna happen.

I’m glad that Zakuro is starting to come to her senses. Hopefully she can get Gaou to listen to her.

That’s all I have to say for this episode!

Episode 48 - Gaou’s Friends:

Niko down! Things are just getting worse here. Gaou took her power, and I don’t know what he’s gonna do with it.

But more importantly, that plot twist?! Hello?!

I can always predict the plot twists in Pretty Cure, but I didn’t see this one coming at all! So the whole time, it was just Subaru!

Now everything’s turning into a forest. I hope the Pretty Cure are gonna be okay!

Episode 49 - Your Voice:

This one was so sad.

Komugi got hurt, and even though I knew she was gonna be okay, I was scared for her. Iroha didn’t help either. She just made me more sad.

Also, Subaru having a whole mental breakdown was hard to watch. I was just waiting for him to be purified, so it would stop.

Next, the abrupt and disappointing transformations of Satoru and Daifuku. It happened so fast, and it didn’t last long either. Like at least give us an actual transformation sequence. But hey, I had convinced myself it wasn’t gonna happen at all. So I guess I should be more grateful.

Now, Subaru’s purified. So all we have to do is wait for the finale. I’m really hoping it’s gonna be a good one!

Episode 50 - Wonderful Forever!:

Well, it’s over. I still can’t believe it’s been a year already.

As usual for Pretty Cure, the last episode was both heart wrenching and heartwarming. I fully expected that the pets would lose their ability to speak and transform into humans once everything was over. But it was still sad to watch.

Iroha’s pain was so realistic. She felt as though she had lost Komugi, even though she was still there. It just wasn’t the same when she couldn’t talk.

I’m glad the mirror stone granted the animals the ability to speak again. I’m also satisfied that they couldn’t turn human. I feel it’s a good choice, because things still aren’t 100% the same as they used to be.

As for the baton pass, I really liked it! Cure Idol’s little cameo was so cute! Also, I’m assuming that little ribbon Cure Wonderful gave her has something to do with the show. I can’t wait to find out!

Anyways, here’s to the end of yet another season, and the start of a new one!

Around 2006-2007 with the Quizilla forum board? And then just a little later, Gaia Online and that's where I was until Tumblr around 2010ish maybe with some short stints on indie forum boards and I think some Myspace RPing too.

I honestly can't remember my first Quizilla one, I'm sure it was some self-insert or like a wolf or something. It might have been an extremely OOC version of Zakuro from Tokyo Mew Mew, icr. As far as TUMBLR? I think it was either Moran inspired by BBC Sherlock or Dave from Homestuck.

☕ Do you still write your first muse?

I still technically write Sebastian Moran in the sense his blog still exists. I'll try every so often to revive it (I think my last attempt was May of last year?), but he's a character from a version of a fandom that he was never technically canon in and has a Reputation(tm) now and even just saying he's a modern Sherlock blog yields little because even book and mixed media Sherlock is a pretty low activity fandom. That and he's just a complex villain character and it's just hard to find an audience for that that doesn't either try and one-up them constantly to power trip or tries to Fix them or fuck them or whatever. A lot of vet RPers are at an older age now and lots of us are dead dove blogs now trying to delve into more complex shit, so maybe the environment is better for his blog now iDK

Consistently? Clark. He's been through one complete makeover from a L4D oc to a SPN oc and then a light makeover to an indie supernatural oc. But I think the most time I've taken off from writing him like every day is maybe a year? Otherwise, Moran just in terms of existing I think.

I've never done anything but third person on Tumblr and I'm pretty sure, aside from some short blips of trying out second person writing on earlier platforms, I've always written third person novel-style.

I genuinely wished I remembered what exactly made it click. I loved reading and had been writing shitty lil' kid stories for awhile and so I think when I stumbled upon forum boards and saw people were pretending to be their characters on the computer I was just like 'I wanna do that'

Anyways, I did say something about a shading tutorial, like, four months ago….

There is one thing you need to know about shading: it’s about depth. 

That means when you shade, you shade to show what’s in the foreground and background, accordingly. Now, keep that in mind. You’ll need it. Anyways…

To shade, one needs to first find their light source. Mark it, circle it, imagine it– if you don’t know where your light source is, your shading will be incomplete. For example - in this artwork piece - I marked my light source with a red dot. 

So now that’s done, you can proceed with actually shading. Depending on the harshness of the lighting (bright or dim), your shade value will scale accordingly. If you want to shade a piece with dim lighting, your shade value will be on the lighter side (closer to white than black) - and vice versa. For example, I wanted to shade the piece with harsh lighting, so my shade value was dark. (Aside it, for reference, is if it had dim lighting.)

Here’s a tip for shading. When there’s a fold, a bump, or any object that’ll obstruct the straight lines of the light source, there will be shadows behind the obstruction. Of course you may not always shade accurately with that rule of thumb, but at that point take a step back and ask yourself: Does it look good?

Finally, remember, there isn’t just one shade value in life, there’s many. That’s a gradient, but for sake of my cell shade, I’ll just lighten up the value. See the change:

Remember the tip said at the very top? Shading shows what’s in the foreground, background, etc…I’ll show you what I mean.

In this picture, Fusakin is in the foreground, Zakuro is in the background - you can see that by the size. Therefore, we can shade Zakuro to show she’s in the background, like so –

See that? Zakuro’s far more shaded than Fusakin - which makes Zakuro look farther away…

This is actually because our light source was in the foreground and closer to Fusakin than Zakuro, thus the amount of shading on Zakuro. You can see the piece looks better too. 

Now, if our light source was in the background, closer to Zakuro, then we would shade the majority of Fusakin to show that depth once again. 

Writing a tutorial is hard. Anyways, summary - there are at least four things you want to take away from this: 

Find your light source

Your shade value scales with how dim or harsh your lighting is

Foreground and background - whatever’s farther to the light source will be more shaded

4. And remember: Shading is about depth.

In the end, it’s up to you and your gut to figure out where your colors go. Happy shading or something like that.

2) A character in Saiyuki that grew on you

I always like Goku. I don't know why I liked him when I was little, but the more I know his story the more I like him. I'm quite sad when people see him like a child, he sees so much more than it seems. I'm thrilled to see how sensei developed his character, specially in Even a Worm arc, and how sensei drew him much more mature in Blast. Not only Sanzo, but he's like the sun to me too :3 There are many characters that grew on me as I spent more time with Saiyuki, Sanzo, Koumyo, Tenkai, Jikaku, Gat…

4) Favorite member of Kougaiji’s group

Is Zakuro part of his group? Yeah? No? Then Instructor Wang it is. I'm… oddly attracted to eccentric old men lmao.

8) Which character do you really dislike?

This is a hard question, I never really dislike a character as they all have their background stories… If I have to choose though, Li Touten, probably, for using Nataku like that :/

I watched Reload and Reload Gunlock on TV when I was in elementary school, and you know they used sensei's art for the ending songs? I was so captivated that I searched for the manga. That's the first time I really worked myself to search for something. I just realized it's been around 20 years… omg

32) Do you enjoy writing/drawing/creating fan works for the Saiyuki fandom?

Absolutely! I write and draw and make covers, also translating the songs to English. I used many websites and you can see them here. I wish I have the energy to create more… at least to finish the ones I started..

Sometimes I binge read, sometimes I read selected chapters. Mostly I read selected chapters when I'm in the mood!

By the way, I don't think Goku will die soon, I headcanon him aging very slowly… I wrote a fanfic about this, where Goku lives in the modern world lol. Remake all the animated versions, with quality. Let's say, by Platinum Vision, the one who produces Reload Blast. Honestly, I like Saiyuki so much, but I don't rewatch it that much, besides Burial, because of the quality of the animes… It's also the reason why it's so hard to tell my friends about Saiyuki. People tend to watch rather than read, but I don't really want people to watch Saiyuki with the quality they have now. So yeah…

73) What character is still a mystery to you?

I wanna say Koumyo but well, I'm more interested in Tenkai and Taruchie. They're the ones with connection, connecting Ibun, which I see as the oldest story of Saiyuki on earth, and Blast, which will be the ending of it. Even though they're not the center of the plot, I believe they took an important part in it. That also brings me to Sai Tai Sai... but I guess we'll find out about Sai in the future. I hope to see Tenkai and Taruchie lore as well :3

Do they have any crafting hobbies? - Not really, but Shino does take up watercolor painting post-canon, so that's crafty.

Do they wear perfume/cologne? If so what scents do they prefer?- I don't actually know how common straight up perfume was in this era of japan but I'm positive shino has like, 5 perfume oils on rotation. I actually just found out people would leave their clothes over incense burners to catch the scent so she definitely did that. Shino's "scent" in particular however is pomegranates, it's a part of her skin routine to dry them, turn them into powder and rub them with water over her skin to make it smooth.

Do they enjoy cooking? - Yes more or less, but she is NOT good at it. Like she will poison you if you let her make you bento. like just raw onions in there.

Do they enjoy baking? - Not really applicable since most japanese sweets to my knowledge don't involve stereotypical ovens like most of us in the west do. She enjoys baked food/deserts but just doesn't make it much.

Do they have any tattoos? If so what are they and do they have any special meaning? - She has no tattoos.

If they were badly injured, and for whatever reason couldn't go to a hospital, who would they go to for help? - Her mother and sisters, her teahouse is her safehaven.

Do they have any unusual fears? - Shino is afraid of the dark because . It's not like she can never be in darkness she has to sleep after all but she REALLY doesn't like being alone in the dark. Her kitty zakuro helps with that.

Do they collect anything? If so what and why? - if collecting clothes count, than yes. But nothing significant. She definitely collects gifts from her patrons.

When they're sick what do they do to feel better? - Resting, eating warm food and taking lots of baths.

Do they have any regrets? - Yes. I can't say what because of spoilers but lets just say she wishes she never became an actress.

Do they have any addictions? - Shino definitely becomes how you say, addicted to cigarettes post canon as she originally only smoked a pipe but yknow. its in like the cool and sexy way.

Do they have any sense of style? Regardless of the answer do they believe they have a sense of style? - Absolutely, I mean it's tough because fashion back then wasn't as diverse as it is now but shino is like. absolutely the person to match her kimono colors to the season and find the perfect coordinate each time.

Do they enjoy poetry? - She doesn't write it, but she has a moderate appreciation I'd say.

Do they have a hard time opening up to people? - Yeah, Shino has a hard time shifting out of "customer service" mode when she gets to know people. She usually does it to not ruin her perfect image but if you're around her enough (okita-kun) she'll relax around you.

What kind of sense of humor do they have? Or do they have one at all? - Absolutely, Shino is so fun and has a good-spirit about most things, she's just not like yknow. kevin hart at the apollo with her humor.

Do they have or want kids? - Shino would LOOOVE to have kids. it's just hard with the whole yknow amab gay thing.

How easily would they be convinced to do something that goes against their morals?- It would be hard. Shino may be someone living on the edge of the law technically but if she really disagrees with something morally I don't think she'd do it. MAYBE if it was like "you have to do this to save x person" kind of thing. i.e. trolly problem.

How easy is it to become their enemy? - hard, Shino isn't the type to really hold grudges, like she definitely might not like you but she'll dislike you in a mean girls way not "you're my ENEMY" way. like oh that bitch. that sort of thing

How easy is it to become their friend? - pretty easy, but only if you're becoming like a friendly acquaintance/work friend. Yknow the kind of person you see around often and strike up a conversation with but you wouldn't know their birthday. To become her true friend takes a lot more committed time.

Do they have a strong connection to their culture? - Yes and no? Like I think culturally she's very japanese and loves her own culture but I don't think she feels particularly attached to the concept of being japanese. like she's just vibing. I think like most in this time period until commodore perry and his goons knocked down their door the idea of like. Oh there are others completely different from me? didn't really cross her mind. Exposure to foreign influence in the way of their neighborhood doctor, "Shigu-sensei" (sigfried) has helped, though.

What is more important to them, friends or family? - Easily family. It's a found family but its found family nonetheless.

Would they ever betray someone for money? - Depends on the person and depends on the money and depends on the depth of betrayal... I think generally she probably wouldn't but depending on the amount she'd be very tempted. And if she went through with it she'd feel really bad about it.

How would they want to die? - Soundly in her sleep without any pain. or preferably in the arms of a loved one.

Do they have any enemies? - Nah. maybe someone who thinks she's the enemy but otherwise no.

Do they have a daily/nightly routine? - Yes! Every morning she wakes up early and eats breakfast with her family, and feeds Zakuro. Then she does their family's assigned chores and spends the early afternoon just chilling, might have a nap if she's feeling sleepy. Around I'd say like five or so she gets ready for customers and spends until 11pm or so serving. Then around 12-2 am she helps clean up, has a bath, and then turns in for bed. I'd say like once a week she has to do her little pomegranate ritual to keep herself clean.

Now it's Zakuro's turn.

"I hear you're handing out gifts, __________."

I jumped when a deep, teasing voice whispered in my ear as I rooted through my bag of gifts I still had yet to hand out.

"Zakuro!" I placed a hand on my chest to encourage my heart rate to slow back to normal. His name echoed in the dining room in front of the stage from where I shouted. "Why do you do that?"

"Do what?" Team C's singer gave me a fox-like grin, a knowing grin, as he watched me recover from the fright.

"Don't give me that. You know very well what you did."

"But I'm innocent, __________!"

I wanted to stay upset with him whenever he popped out of nowhere to scare me like Kasumi often did, but I couldn't when he gave me a look of innocence and upset. Like I was accusing him of breaking our mother's vase.

I gave him a side glance before looking back into my bag. I already had my hand on it, but I wanted revenge for his scare, so I took my time pretending like I was growing more and more concerned while groping through the bag.

His patience with my act grew thin rather quick and he huffed after a couple minutes, indicating he was done. I chuckled to myself - We did stuff like this often enough, where we poked fun at the other, teased the other. We also supported the other when it was apparent our losses of memory affected our daily lives.

Zakuro was like my best friend in that aspect. We both had glaring blank areas in our memories of our lives and when that knowledge got us down, the other picked them up.

That's what inspired my gift for Zakuro.

When I knew he was about to snap, I pulled out his wrapped gift and handed it to him with a smirk. "Merry Christmas, Zakuro."

He raised a single eyebrow and used his free hand to move his bangs out of his eyes before focusing on the item I placed in his hand.

A moment later, he had ripped the wrapping paper off and tossed it to the table next to us, staring at the cover.

"A photo book?"

I nodded. "Yeah. With our history of memory... issues... I thought it would be fun and a good idea to put pictures into a book just in case something happens and we forget again."

Zakuro opened the cover with reverence and began slowly looking through the pages, seeing pictures that had been taken by me, by him, by other cast members - anything that I considered a memory that he would want to keep.

After he'd gone through several pages, staring at them intently, I couldn't help asking, "Well?"

I think this was the first time I'd seen him speechless.

"Zaku?"

At my prompt, he looked back at me with one of his signature smirks. "This is very thoughtful of you, __________. Thanks."

Warning: sappy shit ahead

I don’t want to be all emotional on main about this, but I remember what it was like in this fandom when Tokyo Mew Mew New was just announced and I was freshly exploring Tumblr again mostly as a lurker. There was so much speculation about what the mysterious website was — is it a re-release of the anime? A manga re-print? It couldn’t possibly be an anime reboot, right? Right?

I was fresh off the high of Re-Turn and already knees-deep into writing TMM fanfic again when the news broke. I was elated. I remember pouring over every detail of that first announcement poster. “Look at Zakuro’s ponytail!” “Omg, is Lettuce in a skirt?!” “Ichigo’s hair isn’t pink!” It all seemed surreal. Like a dream.

The news of the reboot carried me through some really hard periods of transition in my life and gave me so many things to look forward to. And when it aired, it gave me a lovely, kind, funny and clever community in you all. We talked, laughed, exchanged stupid memes, swapped fan theories, and I even met some of you IRL.

Now that the main story of Tokyo Mew Mew New is reaching an end, I really want to say thank you to all of you who’ve interacted with me here over the years. This is a wildly silly series but I love it so, so dearly. Despite the reboot not always being perfect and the fandom not being perfect either, I am so grateful we’re here, together.

I hope there’s more for us to get excited about in the future (OVAs? Spin-offs?) but I wanted to acknowledge that this is probably where some folks lose interest and decide to move on. I hope everyone who’s found some joy in my content continues to think back on this fandom and remember how fun it was to be our middle school selves again, getting hyped over catgirls and corny romance tropes with our friends.

So, THAT IS A GREAT QUESTION and the answer will be quite long since... I've always daydreamed about that scenario since I was a little girl drawing fanart and writing (very terrible) fanfic XD

So, in my own personal opinion and according to the scenario played in my head, I've always imagined the mew team to be very supportive with Retasu and her crush on Ryou: we've seen in the reboot a glimpse of how much they support and care for eachother, being there as soon as one of them seems in trouble (see Minto and Zakuro, or Minto and Ichigo, or again Ichigo and retasu or Retasu and Bu-Ling), so yeah, I think they would be the most supportive friends... ESPECIALLY ICHIGO XD

I've always imagined her to feel shocked at that thought at first, cause even though sometimes she too falls for Ryou's charm, their bond is very playful, always teasing eachother, him driving her crazy and making fun of her and her crush. So I believe initially Ichigo would've found hard to believe that Retasu, so shy and kind and polite, would've fallen for someone like Ryou, but lately - both cause she cares about her friend so much and cause she knows deep down how good Ryou is as a person - she would've been the most supporting friend, sometimes a little too much... especially when she would pair alongside Bu-Ling... both of them trying to help Retasu open up with him but unfortunately ... making her involved in some of the most awkward and hilarious situation, a little too pushy for someone as shy as Retasu, who would need to go one little step at a time.

Minto, on the other side, would've been more discrete, definitely better, but at the same time too direct so her approach wouldn't had worked either. I like Minto and Retasu both so much cause they're so different in personalities, and that difference is what makes me enjoy so much both these character but also is something that could create some issues with them having to face a crush on someone.

I think - dunno why I had this thought, mainly I think cause of some OG anime vibes - that the best companion and wingman of the four mew would've been Zakuro. She and Retasu being the oldest, Zakuro an "older sister" figure for the team, the most mature and concrete, with a very adult approach to face every kind of situation, a lone wolf that stays behind the curtain to watch and observe people behavior... c'mon, Zakuro can really read people in my opinion. She would be as discrete as Minto but with more experience and wiser advice, always watching and being there for Retasu, noticing little thing, ups and downs, and maybe realizing that Retasu likes Ryou even before she could admitted herself. Also, Zakuro - as I said - in my opinion can really read people and would support Retasu but slowly, taking small steps, according to her personality, not pushing her but guiding her.

And of course this is just my personal view, of course a IchiRyou shipper would not see Ichigo the same way and that's fine :3

Also I like also the little hints of Pietasu too so I would be curios to know how the aliens would react at Pie having a crush on Retasu XD they would' torture the poor boy XD

I'm not feeling Hime, Zakuro, Laby, Aileen/Almond a lot lately. I think you've noticed I removed them from my banner and pinned post, right?

I have to finish watching Aikatsu, but I don't have time now to stop and watch a lot of episodes and make icons.

"Why don't you roleplay without icons?" Well… I really wanted to write better. Writing and describing feelings/actions can be very stressing for me because English is not my native language. While some descriptions are easy, some of them can be really hard. Icons help me to convey a lot of stuff I want to write during replies. But I need to watch episodes twice (1st time to actually watch the episode, 2nd time to make icons). I spend almost 1 hour for each episode….

AND AIKATSU STARS HAS 100 EPISODES LOL

I really like Hime, but I can't manage so many characters now.

That's why I stopped roleplaying them. I love them a lot, but I can't roleplay them right now.

Hime = I still need to finish Aikatsu Stars. I'm currently on Episode 24 lol

Laby = Lost the hype, honestly. Elsword has a LOT OF STORY and, while I like the character a lot, I don't play the game anymore.

Aileen/Almond = It's kind of difficult to write a story using them within my RP circle (Can I say this? lol The group of people that I follow/interact). Their story happens in a specific context and it would be weird to interact with other characters that don't belong to their Universe (Well, in RPs everything is possible, I know… But sometimes I have a hard time to decide if I should follow the canon universe or not…)

Zakuro = I confess… I let my hype over TMM New take control haha I like Zakuro, but she's very difficult to portray. If you think carefully, she is totally different from the characters I usually roleplay. I like the character, but my portrayal of her is really… not the best.

I have now 7 muses (if you consider Pikario and Bibury muses, since I usually write them with Ciel), but they belong to franchises that I know a lot of stuff (Precure and Pokemon). That's why, for me, it's easy to write stories using them and adapt their Universes into other franchises. From the previous list, I think Hime is the easiest among them, but I really need to finish Aikatsu Stars and right now I don't have time to stop my routine to watch the show.

If you want to send her something, go on. I'm glad that you enjoy my portrayal of her. I had a lot of screenshots of her, but I don't know everything regarding her background story yet. I'm sorry for not saying anything about it before.

I like both twisted wonderland and BSTS, and i wondered which dorms would the casts of Starless fit in NRC. Soo... Which dorm would you think they would fit in if you thought about it? You can ignore this if you consider this a request.

Hi! This is interesting~! Some of the characters can fit into multiple dorms, like Sotetsu can fit into Savanaclaw, Scarabia, and Octavinelle, so I chose the best option for them. For Sotetsu, he loves chaos above all, so Savanaclaw it is. On the flip side, there are some characters that don't really fit any dorms, like Heath. Maybe I should just put them in Ramshackle. XD

Savanaclaw: Sotetsu, Kokuyou, Mizuki, Ran

Diasomnia: Kei, Kongou, Gui

Heartslabyul: Rindou, Hari, Sinju, Ginsei

Pomefiore: Qu, Mokuren, Maica, Akira, Heath

Scarabia: Takami, Zakuro, Sin, Kasumi, Yoshino, Menou

Ignihyde: Taiga, Unei

Octavinelle: Rico, Yakou

(Below the cut is my explanation, aka me brainstorming)

Savanaclaw members like chaos, being #1, are dominant, and physically strong. Kokuyou wants to be #1 in Starless, takes pride in being called Mr. Starless, and considers himself as the alpha of Starless. Mizuki and Ran love chaos. Sotetsu can fit into Savanaclaw, Scarabia, and Octavinelle, but since he loves creating drama above all, Savanaclaw is it.

Diasomnia members are physically strong, intelligent, level-headed (for the most part lol), loyal, and give a knight-like vibe overall. Kei fits all of those, and he is knightly and kingly~ best hubby. ❤️ Kongou is calm, collected, and one of the most mature characters in Starless, and those biceps. :3 Gui is loyal (still hoping his master is not evil), calm, and has been MC's protector since season 1.

Heartslaybul = RULES. Riddle, how long did it take you to memorize those 810 rules? @_@ Rindou likes to follow tradition and seems like someone who would adhere to the rules...maybe due to his past? Ginsei likes the tradition ways as shown by his liking for Mikis shows and scripts. Sinju is too pure to be a rebel in any way, and if someone asks him to follow rules, he will follow them as closely as possible. Hari is raised in a “must follow rules” environment, and though he is breaking the rules by joining Starless, he knows one day he is going to have to return to the world of rules, aka following in his father’s footsteps. 

Pomefiore spells elegance, beauty, and being yourself while continuing to strive for better. Qu and Mokuren are the most graceful, beautiful, and elegant members of Starless, and I can’t imagine them in any other dorms. Maica is also elegant and graceful but in a less feminine way, and I don’t see him fitting in any other dorms; he isn’t cunning or the type to pull strings from behind, nor is he knightly, and he doesn't like chaos and is not an introvert. 

Scarabia = cunning, manipulative, and people who work from the shadows. Takami and Zakuro are very manipulative, cunning, and two of the most sus people in Starless. Takami could also fit in Octavinelle, but I can see him in Scarabia more. Sin isn’t manipulative, but he has pulled a few strings from the shadows. Mostly, Sin prefers to stay in the shadow and watch everything from there. Another person who works from the shadows is Kasumi...he is a ninja, and no one can convince me otherwise. Like, Sin, he sometimes pulls strings but doesn’t straight up manipulate. Season 1 Yoshino would have fit in Heartslabyul, but his character development has pushed him to the dark side. He is willing to go to any length to get songs in Starless, and even he has confessed this. It won’t be long until Yoshino starts openly manipulating.  Menou is in Starless for acting only and doesn’t care about anything else, aside from sleeping lol. He does have a manipulative side and is sharp as hell but prefers to keep everything to himself. Menou likes to watch and create drama by adding salt to wounds, but I can’t see him in Savanaclaw. 

Ignihyde has introverts, gamers, and people who are good with technology, so pretty much Taiga. I think Unei also fits in this dorm as he is one of the few members of Starless that can use technology properly lol. 

Octavinelle is the business version of Scarabia, so pretty much if you want something, you have to pay a price. They seem more self-centered and focus on things solely because it benefits them or they can get entertainment out of it. This is why Sotetsu fits in Octavinelle as well. Anytime anyone wants something from him, he asks what benefit he will get out of the deal. Rico, since day 1, has thought about himself and is more self-centered than not. Due to his debt, he looks for ways to pay off his debt, including making deals that are risky. Yakou only had one goal since he entered Starless, to go against Sinju and prove he’s better. Whatever he did was for his own benefit, and once he achieved his goal, he left to pursue his career. In Octavinelle’s chapter, Azul mentions “benevolent heart” and “pity” a lot, and it feels like Yakou returns to Starless when he is needed, either due to his benevolent heart or because he pities them or both. Remember, Yakou is one of the few members that can live a normal life and doesn’t need Starless.  

Now, the two members I’m struggling to sort: Akira and Heath. Akira is in Starless for singing, but he doesn’t manipulate and says what he feels. He isn’t knightly or loyal to Team W (he has mentioned wanting to fight Team W by creating his own team), and Akira is not the one to follow rules. He doesn’t work from the shadows and is the only one who has pointed out that some people in Starless are shady AF. If someone asks Akira for help (like Heath), Akira doesn’t always ask for anything in return nor does he try to manipulate. He is definitely not an introvert and isn’t techy, so that leaves Pomefiore. Akira isn’t the elegant type, like Qu, but he is very true to himself and isn’t willing to change that, so he kinda fits in Pomefiore. Heath doesn’t fit in Diasomnia or Savanaclaw due to his lack of physical strength, and he isn’t manipulative nor does he look for benefit in everything, so no Scarabia or Octavinelle. He isn’t the type of follow rules and makes this evident in his rap lyrics, so bye Heartslabyul. That leaves Ignihyde and Pomefiore. He isn’t a super social person and isn’t techy, and he is not the type to focus on beauty, grace, but he is true to himself. He always writes what/how he feels and won’t change that for anyone, so like Akira, he fits in Pomefiore. Both the singer and rapper don’t have specific traits for one dorm, so it’s very hard for me to pick the perfect dorm for them.

It's genuinely one of the most gut-punching VNs I have ever played. There is... Oh my god. It takes a while to get going, but Jesus Christ, does it go. It also has interesting depictions of DID! Many of the experiences depicted line up fairly well with mine though obviously it is not "good" representation of DID.

Some of the writing, especially in Looking-Glass Insects, is a bit... Ugh. Like, it feels like they were trying to make it tragic, and it ends up being hammed up beyond belief. I wish they could have been more subtle with some of the writing, as well.
