also. can I just say. as cool and sexy as Veilguard!Solas is I have to point out that he just doesnt come off as very smart in this game. like we've spent years in fandom purgatory going all "oooh I wonder what Solas's super secret super clever plans for da4 are!! how is he gonna deal with the Evanuris???"

and apparently his plan was to basically take the gods out of their prison and... put them in different, smaller and shittier prison. lmao. even tho the first time solas created the OG prison he broke the world and everything went to shit, and current solas's power is nowhere near the level of his pre-veil self. its fine you guys!! he's just going to pull the exact same heist twice!!! no one will be expecting that

and then to add insult to injury he falls into his own trap and gets stuck in his own jail cell. my dude come on youre the trickster god YOU are supposed to be doing this to OTHERS get with the program!!

I mean i had the idea for a blog for a decent while after all of the modern warfare blogs popped up, (and despite gBell claiming he was the first, bless his heart) i had the actual blog made for about a week until actually making an intro post. Honestly, it was probably my crippling lack of a father figure growing up and my general like for woods as a character throughout bo1, and especially bo2 that inspired me most to make it.

Can you guys imagine how much time Mark had to spent to practice that wave-pull move?

To be sure he had just the right amount of momentum that he doesn't create a tsunami-like wave. To make sure that it doesn't harshly sweep away people. To be sure that the water he summons behind him isn't too much that it ends up destroying property, or worse, drowns people.

This doesn't look like in any way Nolan's style of solving a fire, doesn't even look like a problem Nolan would bother solving at all unless it was caused by a super villain (we saw how he wanted Mark to be selective in the crimes or fights he would pick up). So it's safe to say that Nolan didn't teach this to Mark before. And it's safe to say that with Nolan gone, the only other person that Mark knows shares his same power set and the best candidate to teach him, Mark was likely training by his own for the past month.

He was taking fights, even if it was with the ridiculous elephant man, that Nolan would think is "beneath him".

He was taking out bad bad guys, even if they were small time burglars in a car chase with the police, that Nolan would consider "not relevant to the bigger picture".

He went to an area on fire, even if other supes with more suited powers can take it out, that Nolan wouldn't take the time to put out.

Mark is trying so, so, sooo hard so that he won't become like his father. He's doing things that Nolan wouldn't do. He's trying to grow out of his father's teachings and influence.

You can say anything you want about speed racer (2008) but the family aspect of it? Amazing 10/10 they are so supportive of speed like genuinely like the fact they very well could have banned everything related to cars and races after Rex’s death but no they instead decided to still support like the mom tells him she is scared but loves to watch him race because his talent takes her breath away, his dad admits and learns from his mistakes and they never let speed doubt that they support him and care about him even when they are mad and scared about his safety ,the fact he puts himself through the same rally that killed his brother to protect his family is just!! Is beautiful is amazing I love it I love this movie so much is far from perfect from the cinematic aspect but is perfect and I can’t wait to see the video of cinema therapy that I saw they made to fall in love more with it

obviously theres no way to make tumblr polls statistically sound in any way and it's a fool's errand to try. that said can we stop making polls with answer distributions like this

this is what we in the biz call "non-exhaustive poll options" and what the layperson would call "why the fuck are you asking a yes/no question and then providing only one of the two possible answers" and it makes your response data ten times more meaningless than it already is. the rule of thumb for survey design is you never want a situation where your respondent looks at your question and says "well what the hell am i supposed to respond here" <- voice of someone who is about to fuck up your survey results supremely. sorry i know i said that it's impossible to make tumblr polls statistically sound so it doesn't really matter i just really love survey design
