Sorry I've been less active lately, I had a lot of deadlines. Will try to restock the queue but in the meantime I thought I'd share my childhood tape collection.

These are officially licensed soyuzmultfilm cartoons on VHS from the late 90s. I'm sure there were a handful of websites pre youtube where you could download soviet cartoons but growing up in canada this is how I watched them (on an internationally compatible VCR). I love the mascot of the crow holding the tape on them.

Okay Pile two, along with Lord Shiva I guess your guides are present here too. What are you doing these days? Because I feel you are just daydreaming. Like I personally think day dreamers have great imagination and ability to visualise, they can probably manifest easily as well. But problem here is that you are not using your this ability for any good. You are decieting your own potential and probably betraying your younger self as well. It's like you can't even face yourself. If you have good potential but why are you wasting it so much. There's so much going on here at mental level, too much fantasy and material. Tim I noticed a lot of indigenous patches on your jacket, are you Native?

Idk what my dad was 'cause I never knew him, but yeah my mom is (or... Was.. I guess..) Muscogee, the tribe native to the part of Alabama I'm in.

If I remember correctly she came to Alabama from Oklahoma (where a lot of Natives were displaced to in the 1800s) to "get back to her roots."

But yknow, I was separated from her in childhood (which tbh is upsettingly common for Native families) and I was raised in a very white very Catholic asylum so I'm not as connected to the culture as I'd like to be.

my vague thoughts about merrill's mirror were:

it was found in that weird ruin that had mixed human/elven architecture. and it's the only eluvian we've seen that's blighted, and the reason that clan sabrae was in that area is bc they'd had dealings with flemythal after being attacked by humans in another place? and tamlen mentions something looking at him through it, and then merrill unavoidably takes it to... kirkwall. the most haunted and fucked up city in thedas, and possibly the site where the magisters first breached the black city to begin with. and then you meet flemeth there again, so it seemed like the whole thing was part of her galaxy brain schemes.

and it's implied (prior to veilguard lol) that the black city and the veil are "attached", so to speak. since solas created them together and the black city is always at the center of the fade... so to access the black city to reclose it before the next two blights, that's probably why solas was so bent on taking down the veil so rapidly, instead of doing the smart thing and just chilling for 50 years until the inquisition forgot about him.

so i figured solas does Not know about this mirror (because he notoriously doesn't have a good relationship with the dalish lmao) and it's effectively a back door to the black city. and at some point flemythal would take it back from merrill after merrill put the effort of unblighting it, and then go in there to do her Schemes and Reckonings. and also this might be a way to bypass solas' veil removal requirement, since that's how the blight and the evanuris could be resealed without obliterating most of modern thedas in the process...

theres is something extremely funny to me about these pages creating a (relatively) big fanon scene with multiple different AUs and interpretations, just to then look at the actual comics where it never got brought up or acknowledged ever again
