Could someone PLEASE edit arcane to Fernando by ABBA?
"Can you hear the drums Fernando? I remember long ago another starry night like this, in the firelight Fernando"
"I was so afraid Fernando; We were young and full of life and none of us prepared to die, and I'm not ashamed to say the roar of guns and cannons almost made me cry"
"Now we're old and grey Fernando, and since many years I haven't seen a rifle in your hand. Can you hear the drums Fernando? Do you still recall the frightful night we crossed the Rio Grande? I can see it in your eyes, how proud you were to fight for freedom in this land"
And the chorus is literally so Jayvik:
"There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, Fernando; They were shining there for you and me, for liberty, Fernando. Though I never thought that we could lose, there's no regret. If I had to do the same again, I would, my friend, Fernando"

I love the idea in the Star Wars universe, ABBA is a twi’lek band from Ryloth that Luke is a huge fan of. Also imagine a holonet interview with the band about their new album with songs Inspired by the clone wars, so like ‘Fernando’ and ‘Waterloo’. And in the interview they’re like “yeah it’s so obvious how many clone soilders had secret relationships with their Jedi generals”

It was that time of the year again when racing ended for a few months until around March. It's January back in Oviedo, Spain, and a bit chilly outside. A whopping 7 ⁰C outside. It's quite crazy how there isn't much snow on the ground since it usually snows around this time. It's a perfect temperature to walk the streets of Oviedo for the night. Maybe go to the casino and gamble some or go get a drink and flirt with some ladies. Those both sounded like pretty good ideas to Fernando in his mind. He was walking down the beautiful streets of Oviedo minding his own business, that was until he heard her.
Fernando couldn't believe it. It couldn't be her, could it? The girl he met years ago on a night like this in Oviedo. It seemed surreal to him. Fernando couldn't stand the thought of letting her go again. He knew he had to talk to her.
Fernando cleared his throat before approaching her. "Y/n?"
The woman turned around, her hair tossed when she moved. Her face was gorgeous and youthful. She had large eyes that stared into Fernando's. With two fingers around a cigarette between her mouth. The makeup on her face was exactly how he remembered; her smoky eyeshadow, stained lips, her mascara a bit smudged. She was wearing one of her signature party dresses. It's like she hasn't aged at all. Fernando couldn't help but stare at her at her fingers noting a ring on it.
Her lips curled into a soft smile as she placed a name on the face in front of her. "Ah! Fernando!"
He softly smiled back at her. She blew a puff of smoke into the air from her cigarette. He didn't say much as he was trying to process all of his thoughts.
"You haven't changed at all, y/n..."
"Ah, why thank you," she paused and glanced at him. Her eyes looked at him up and down before meeting his gaze again. "Suprised you're still in this city and not some big city like Madrid like you said you would be.."
Y/n took another drag of her cigarette still looking at him. Her mind flooding back to that night years ago they spent together, in this same city.
"Well, things change, you know?"
She nodded as he spoke looking a bit mysterious. Fernando couldn't help but stop staring at the ring on her finger.
"You're married?"
"Not for much longer," she answered.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize-"
Y/n cut him off from his sentence. "You don't need to be sorry, I saw it coming. He's never home and always working and when I saw some lipstick that's not mine on his lips and smelled perfume that I don't own I threw a fit. Yet somehow I was the one who was wrong in the relationship,"
"That's horrible," was all he could say to show some sympathy towards her.
"I shouldn't have even married the bastard...should've followed you instead," y/n let out another puff of smoke as she sighed. Her eyes looked directly at his with a look of regret.
Ten Years Ago, Oviedo, Spain
It was about 6 pm in Oviedo, the sun was about to set and the small city was already preparing for the darkness to come with the lights on buildings, a beautiful sight to the eyes. She was walking down through the streets all alone. Her hips swayed side to side as she walked. The sound of her heels clicking as she stepped was heard over all the traffic and noise. Walking into the casino with one thing on her mind; to have a good time.
She walked through the crowded casino still, with her hips swaying back and forth and her heels making the same clicking sound on the floor. She sat down at one of the slot machines with her purse hanging on her shoulder.
"Come on...come on!" She said as she watched the symbols line up on the screen.
"Damn it!" She exclaimed, slamming her hand against the machine. "One symbol off!" She ran a hand through her hair as she sighed.
"You alright?"
Someone asks her. She turns around to see a man, with dark hair and eyes looking at her with a friendly smile on his face. Wearing casual dress clothes, with a glass of alcohol in his hand. With a heavy Spanish accent.
"Oh yeah, just was close to getting the big bucks," She smiled at him back.
"Ah, how unfortunate. How about I buy you a drink to cheer you up, sweetheart?" His smile turned into a slight smirk as he held out his free hand for her to take.
She looked at him and down with her smile matching his smirk. Without hesitation, she took his hand and got up from her seat following his lead. "Well, I don't see why not..." she paused. Trying to find the right word to call him as she didn't have his name.
"Oh, pardon me for not introducing myself, Fernando," the man said as he led her to the bar, "and you are?"
"Y/n."
"Well, y/n, it's a pleasure to meet you." Fernando brought her hand to his lips and placed a soft kiss on top of it.
"Likewise," Y/n replied to him, blushing a little bit.
"What do you drink, amor?"
"I'll take a margarita," she smiled at him softly, "so say, Fernando, what brings you to Oviedo?"
He looks over at her and let's out a soft chuckle. "Well, believe or not I actually live here...in the summers...and holiday breaks. I travel a lot."
She softly smiles as she looked confused, raising a brow at him. "You live here occasionally then?"
"Yes, but no?"
"Okay? So either you live here or you don't, what's it gonna be Fernando." She laughed.
"Yes I do live here, it's just for work I'm always having to travel," he explained. The bartender brought over the drinks and he took a sip of his, still looking at her.
"Ah, so what do you do for work?" She grabbed her glasses and took a small sip of hers.
He didn't want to tell her he raced cars to potentially ruin what they had, so he decided to make something up. "I'm in finance, working on moving our to Madrid once I get bigger, you know?"
"Finance, ay? Not quite my feild," she let's out a chuckle.
"Oh yeah? What are you?" He asks before taking another sip of his drink, nearly finishing it.
"Attorney, I work at practice nearby."
"Attorney, that must be nice," he said as he looked at her up and down. "So say, how about we just screw this place off, yeah?"
She didn't think twice before smirking back at him and smiling. "I'd love nothing more than that,"
Then the rest is history.
Present Day
"God, I should've never let you go..." She said, looking at him.
"But you did. Why did you even go for me?" He looked at her and raised his brow.
"There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, Fernando. Shining for you and me, it seemed right at the time. You made me forget about everything but when I woke up the next morning I realized I had to move on, or I thought so at least.."
"We could still make it work now, no?" He looked at her with hope.
"No, it wouldn't work out with your racing and traveling all the time and me doing my work here in Spain..I'm sorry this couldn't work out. I wish you the best, Fernando."
With that, she walked off into the dark of the night leaving him there all alone just like all those years ago. She was never really his to begin with.

That Mothers Might Live is a 1938 American short drama film directed by Fred Zinnemann. In 1939, at the 11th Academy Awards, it won an Oscar for Best Short Subject (One-Reel).
The short is a brief account of Hungarian physician Ignaz Semmelweis and his discovery of the need for cleanliness in 19th-century maternity wards, thereby significantly decreasing maternal mortality, and of his struggle to gain acceptance of his idea. Although Semmelweis ultimately failed in his lifetime, later scientific luminaries advanced his work in spirit like microbiologistLouis Pasteur, who provided a scientific theoretical explanation of Semmelweis' observations by helping develop the germ theory of disease, and Dr. Joseph Lister, who revolutionized medicine by putting Pasteur's research to practical use. 11th Academy Awards - Wikipedia
