I also added another piece of rolled tubing to each fork leg for extra strength. I mounted up some wheels and it sits just the way I imagined. #smokeoutrally #acobuilder #amateurchopoff2017 ・・・ I've got quite a bit done these past few weeks, the drive train is in. All we need now is plumbing wiring and a seat and I could do some burn outs. I sorted out the original harness tonight. My thoughts are to deconstruct it and reroute it to my needs. By the end of the week I hope to be tuning carbs and getting the motor back out of the frame. I was struggling with the style of handlebars to look good with this girder front end I made but I finally found what I was looking for with some help from a good buddy. I also swapped out the 19" front wheel with this 21" that I scored at a flea market to raise the front end a little and give it that more narrow look. Next on the agenda is making some cool loud exhaust then tearing it all down and get some paint in it. Super stoked to see the end result and get it out on the road!! I got all my parts back from powder coat and assembly is underway, just a few hundred thousand tweaks and I should be good to go.
