Ohana Adoptable Nicole!

Take a look at this covergirl!!! Nicole is a beautiful longhaired dilute calico who is between 6-8 years old. Nicole was found, nearly emaciated, and in desperate need of TLC in Germantown last summer. As you can see, we noticed an obvious issue with her eyes. We immediately took her to our vet for an evaluation, and they deemed that Nicole's vision is severely affected by not only entropion, but agenesis. Its likely she was born with these issues, and as a result developed permanent scarring on her eyes. This scarring eventually led to near-blindness. Yes, our beautiful girl can only see shadows with one eye, and is sightless in the other. The issue causes her no pain, so rather than remove her eyes, our vet recommended we just find a special home for Nicole with owners who can help her out and clean her eyes every now and again. Other than that, Nicole is just like any other cat - with a little sass thrown in for good measure lol! Nicole is a bit of a Diva who prefers that her new home have no other animals, as she doesnt appreciate vying for your attention. We also recommend Nicole doesnt go to a home with kids, as that sass factor can cause her to become occasionally overstimulated, and she will use her claws to let you know. @Regrann from @helping_meowt - 🙋🏡 FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED🏡🙋 @Regrann from @catbycatbycat - This is OC, formerly Ilya. We pulled him from the Devore Shelter a few weeks back : he had no foster but he broke the heart of our rescue partner @landosolofund and he was saved from the needle! He was very depressed and cranky ---which the vet discovered was caused by a painful infected sore on his scrotum!! (You would be cranky too!) This was most likely caused by being left in the trap (in poop) for as long as a few days . He is now fixed and the problem solved and he is sweet and beautiful but traumatized. He is also very intimidated by dogs ---and unfortunately @landosolofund has one so has not been able to relax and feel safe 😿...And he needs a new foster asap!
