ngl tho the chapter where demetrius is really pissed at adrian pissed me off bc like. adrian defenders in the comments are the same people who were giving bree shit for her actions
I have a secret hack called not reading the comments that works as a pretty good defense against this.
But yeah, Demetrius has good reason to be pissed, even though Adrian's actions are understandable--Adrian himself acknowledges that. Episode 59 he apologizes, says he was wrong and that they have a right to be mad; even so, he cares and is going to try to do better regardless.
Bree also understands she's fucked up--she doesn't have as much of a moment as Adrian, but she says "I've been a selfish, stupid little girl, and that could have cost us everything." She understands the gravity of her actions and what its done, and is furious with herself for it. And even if she didn't, she's allowed to fuck up and make bad decisions. It adds intrigue and character and realism.
I can't really respond directly because I'm not involved enough to know the comments people are making, but my thoughts are: everyone's justified to some degree. Demetrius isn't wrong for being mad, Adrian isn't wrong for being afraid of his father, and Bree isn't wrong for wanting someone (all simplified). there's no one right character, it's all complex !!
