"Evidence that Pokémon once familiar to us have been spotted in the various dimensions linked together by Ultra Space, in the same way that Ultra Beasts have been spotted in our own dimension. Upon falling through an Ultra Wormhole, these Pokemon become bathed in a strange energy that seems to facilitate rapid changes and adaptations needed to survive in their new environments, among other speculated effects. We have dubbed them "dimensional forms," though internally we use the code name "ultra variant," or "UV" for short."

It seems that when exposed to the bizarre lands of Ultra Space, Eevee's evolutions take on new forms. I wonder what other strange forms we have yet to see! More info coming soon!

*More detailed lore later, but as a brief explanation on each one's inspirations:

-Vaporeon: polluted water, plastic debris and its impact on animals, mutations, oil and water don't mix

-Jolteon: overcharged long boi, they run through the skies and leave lightning trails behind them

-Flareon: explosive smoke cloud and shrapnel

-Umbreon: black holes and new moons because of Ultra Megalopolis's darkness theme

-Espeon: wise and (slightly) wrinkly sphynx cat with a 3rd eye

-Leafeon: bulky and ferocious tiger, stripes inspired by beta Leafeon

-Glaceon: bleached coral and asymmetry

-Sylveon: shinto shrine maidens and shide (zigzag paper streamers)

Sun and Moon (the Pokémon games lol) have always been my favorite in the series so I wanted to make designs for Sun and Moon (the daycare attendants) based off of Team skull and the aether foundation. I imagine Moon would’ve been a sort of “gift” to team skull from the aether foundation. They were both made for taking care of Lily and Gladion, so once gladion joined team skull I’d think Lusamine would wanna keep an eye on him through Moon. I have a bunch of other thoughts on it (like their teams and stuff) but this is all the Art I’ve done for it so far :]

I also added spray painted + sunhinged versions

Also tried to mimic the Pokémon shading style but I’m not to sure how successful that was :/

I think moon would be especially empathetic towards the young teens who would join team skull. They remind him of Lily and Gladion, and eventually once the aether foundation collapses him and Sun would still try to be there for them.

I’m finally finished lol, having so much free time feels so unreal especially when your siblings are still working on their exams. Anyways, some clearer look on the art and explanation under the cut 👇

Forgive me for any inaccuracies to the pokespe lore, i haven’t read the DPP and Sun and Moon arcs

After the events of Ruby and Sapphire arc, Maxie and Archie died but somehow their soul still lingers but it can also die or whatever.. what’s important is that after they die, their soul moved to the distortion world instead of whatever layer of hell they’re supposed to go to. My hc is that the longer you stay in the distortion world, your body slowly shuts of its own function because it realized that you don’t need it anymore.

The one i want to focus most is the loss of sight. Since the distortion world is dim, you can’t see anything so you slowly lose your sight the longer you stay there.

Here’s my hc bla bla bla, the only reason Archies vision isn’t completely fucked is because he still wants to see Maxie. In the distortion world, Maxie spends his time trying to imagine his team and all the happy memories he has before he fully loses his ability to see, while Archie spends his time being crushed by guilt. The events of ORAS doesn’t exist here because you both don’t deserve redemption arcs you bundle if sticks

Saw this meme and decided to make a couple changes.

Honestly, I feel like the only two that are actually evil are Giovanni and Ghetsis. Gio at least has a code of honor tho, while Ghetsis is just an irredeemable asshole thru and thru.

Cyrus got screwed up by his parents holding him to such an impossibly high standard, he broke trying to live up to how they wanted him to be. Lysandre was a philanthropist who took on too much and snapped when he realized he couldn't really make a dent in solving the world's issues, and, in the anime at least, had people abuse his generosity and keep demanding more and more of him. (Also, part of me wonders if him confessing his plans to literally everyone he interacts with is some kind of cry for help, because he even does this with the champion.) Lusamine was brainwashed in SM, but even without that in Ultra, she's still freezing Pokemon and summoning UBs to Alola. (She's just mildly less nasty to her kids.) But you can at least pinpoint where things went wrong for Lusamine and that's when Mohn got sucked into a Wormhole right before her eyes. Before that, Lillie had said she was a good mom who had once played with her out in the rain. Volo is implied to have something traumatic in his past that drives him, tho we don't really know what it was like the others. Masters implies he was used and tossed aside by someone, but hasn't really gone into detail yet.

(Their actions are evil, and I'm not justifying or attempting to minimize them, I'm just saying that we can see where things went wrong for them and how they fell. We don't really get that with games Giovanni or Ghetsis.)

Archie, Maxie, and Rose felt they were trying to help. Rose wanted his region to prosper. Maxie was trying to make more space for people, and while I feel Archie's plan was more dangerous since he'd displace millions of people and land-dwelling Pokemon, he was generally trying to help Pokemon and turn things back to nature.

Didn't Team Star's plan to get back at bullies basically fail? I thought they set up some kind of big confrontation to get revenge, but their bullies cowered out or something. I might need a refresher on SV's story since I haven't played thru that particular part since the games came out. But aside from that, the worst she did personally was swipe LP. She was never really a villain.
