“No, not even as a joke. Maybe it’s naive of me, but…I still don’t understand the mind of someone who’d willingly inflict violence upon other people. It makes some sense if you’re a cop trying to protect innocent people, but… murderers or gangsters or any other kinds of bad people, I just don’t get why they’d do what they do. 

We’ve all got one planet to share. Rather than trying to go around hurting people, shouldn’t everyone be trying to make a world a better place?”

It was nearing the end of 2021, and Tesa had some huge plans for her ShovelForge streams in 2022. She’d already made a private server, but she wanted to take it to the next level and make fully custom maps, emulating Shinjuku-ku down to the tiniest detail. While she hadn’t made any sort of public announcement, she was testing the waters with some of her superfans, messaging some names she regularly saw on her streams and gauging if her larger audience would be interested.

And, wouldn’t you know, that’s how she gallantly hopped into a certain someone’s DMs on To-witter, with zero inclination as to who was behind the screen:

Do you think in a parallel world your a boy?

“Sure! It’s more than likely.

Andrei Linde’s concept of eternal inflation, if true, means that there’s an endlessly increasing number of parallel universes, to which we have no human concept to quantify! Infinity is the best word we have for a number that big. And if you have infinite possibilities, then anything’s possible. 

Say I was a boy. The doctors could have told mom at birth, oh, what joy, you’ve got a boy! Or they could’ve been like, it’s a girl, and my brain would have been all, nuh-uh, I don’t think so! Or it could have been something else entirely. Who knows? I don’t know, because that’s not the version of me that’s, well, me!

I talked to this one really, really smart man named Dr. Klim, who explained a lot of this stuff to me. For every major decision we make in our life, theoretically speaking, there’s another universe where we’ve made the opposite decision. If you took this big job opportunity in another city, there’s a version of you that didn’t take it, and that one little decision could have a butterfly effect that could change the entire world as we know it. 

Put it this way - if Mom and Mr. Okiura didn’t become friends in college, if they didn’t go to the same school, or share the same classes, it’s not just that my idol career wouldn’t have started. In that universe, I might not even have been born in the first place! I couldn’t be a girl, or a boy, or anything else, because I wouldn’t even exist. It’s a lot to think about.”

How do we know your not actually in league with Naix and your planning to lead us into their clutches.

“That doesn’t make any sense. Think about it.

First, NAIX operates completely in secret. If you’re not a member, they don’t want you to know aaaaannnyything about what’s going on. The fact that I’ve been talking about them in publicly posted videos is already going against every single thing they stand for. Even if you’re under the wrong impression that I was once a member, you have to agree with me that there’s no way I could still be a member with every single rule that I’ve been breaking. What good is a secret organization that loses all of its secrets?

Second, just think about the risk I’m taking.��You saw how the U.S. government reacted when Chelsea Manning leaked 750,000 classified documents, detailing so many things about what the United States military had been doing all over the world. Now, imagine a group even more powerful than the world’s most powerful military, because that’s exactly what NAIX is. They’ve already got agents all over Tokyo, monitoring my every public move, waiting for the perfect time to end my life. They haven’t found out where I live yet, but I’m sure they will, very soon.

I know this all sounds overwhelming, but… please believe me. I’m telling you the truth, as complete of a truth as I possibly can with the information that I have.
