Last year I watched Trigun and Trigun Stampede, and during the euphoria that followed I made first ever cosplay in the span of like two weeks and wore it to my local anime con. Here is a brief illustrated account of my cosplay experience over the last two years.

Went to my first ever convention yesterday!!!! Had a brief encounter with the motherfucking Drift King himself (didn't ask for a photo or anything because I didn't wanna bother him but it was so cool aaaaaaaaa). Also met some awesome people and got a buncha cool shit!!!

If the people selling those mystery bags of Pokémon stickers somehow have a Tumblr and see this, I'm the dude who said how much she wanted the Oshawott one because it was his first ever starter! Thank you so much, RNGsus did bless me in the end!!!!! Literally the only downside was that I didn't have time to make a cosplay, but I'll cook something up next time I go to one and might even post it here if I feel confident!! Had such an amazing time!!!

Sorry that this is unrelated to your projects, but how was Akumakon? Hope you had a good time and you got to see everything you wanted to!

i got in there and thought it was interesting but nothing really grabbed me. cool to see the cosplayers imo. i bought a gunpla based on box art vibes (idk anything about gundam as i was a zoids kid) and looked around at the prints and art on sale. a lot of it was very nice but it wouldn't be fandoms i was very interested in, i hoped that there'd be more original art for sale but i struggled to find any. in fairness, this is an anime convention so that's on me
