Miraculous Shallura - pt. 3

Hawk Moth:

Hagar is Hawk Moth. She wants the Ladybug and Chat Noir miraculouses to tear apart and dissect reality itself or some nonsenses.

Look she’s basically just a mad scientist ok?

She is annoyed beyond words at how STUPID the costumes for her RoboBeasts always end up being. 

And yet. She can do nothing to change it.

(She also rants a lot about the petty concerns of her Akumatized victims and how unappreciative and uncreative they are with the power she’s given them. Pathetic, the lot of them. And yet. And yet she still can’t do anything about it.)

Zarkon is the pompous, uptight executive of company in the fashion industry a la Gabriel Agreste because I find the idea hilarious.

Zarkon supports his wife’s reality ripping and magical terrorism because good partners support their spouses’ intertrests. Also what’s a moral conscience anyway?

Zarkon and Alfor used to be bffs but had a falling out several years ago and now spend an inordinate amount of time sending passive aggressive letters to each other.

Allura and Shiro family life:

Coran is Alfor’s personal assist and practically Allura’s second father

Alfor loves his daughter and cares for her, but he’s incredibly busy being mayor, politicking and running the city sending petty emails to Zarkon, so Coran turns out to be the one doing a lot of the actual parenting.

Coran totally knows Allura is Ladybug, but he lets her think he doesn’t and subtly helps her keep her secret and make excuses to Alfor/school/whoever to hide her identity

Allura, have ISSUES because of her somewhat absentee father? Of course not. HER?! What would make you even suggest such a thing

(Chat Noir sometimes mentions his moms or his little brother with such warmth and Ladybug aches with something she can’t—or won’t—describe.)

Yes, Shiro has two moms. His bio mom, Mama Shirogane, and her wife married when he was about two, so are far as Shiro is concerned, they are his family, full stop

Keith is Shiro’s little brother and a full fledged Shirogane in all but name. 

He’s technically still in foster care, but Mom and Mama Shirogane have been fostering him since he was nine and fully intend to adopt him as soon as he turns eighteen. They’d have adopted him already if it weren’t for irritating legal barriers

Keith is definitely part of the Shirogane family though, no matter what the law says. Shiro’s promised if his moms don’t adopt Keith officially, he will. But neither of the should worry—Shiroganes don’t let go of people easily

The Shirogane moms love their sons fiercely and unconditionally, but they do wish sometimes those two stubborn boys would reach out and realize they don’t have to fight everything on their own all the time.

(And Chat Noir could at least let them know when he’s going to be late for dinner. It’s hard enough to keep a growing teenage boy well fed—let alone a superhero)

Seven Deadly Sins/Voltron AU

Okay this is really super loose and I’ve only seen S1 so here we go fam:

Keith is half-demon, born of a demon mother, and heir to the demon throne. His sin is Wrath for after losing father he lost control of his demonic side and wiped out a whole town of people. His power is the Eternal Flame.

Lance is half-elf, raised in the human land. His sin is Envy because it’s believed that he killed his former friend after finding out that his friend had won over the heart of the woman Lance was in love with. His power is the Chilling Blade.

Shiro is an immortal human. His sin is Pride because he was tasked with leading a quest into the fairy lands and his thirst for fame and glory supposedly got his entire squad killed. His power is Whisper.

Lotor is full demon, forever cursed to inhabit the body of a man. His sin is Lust because he was blamed for the slaughter of hundreds of women. His power is the Forbidden Darkness.

Hunk is the prince of giants. His sin is Sloth for when his people needed him most, he turned his back and ran. His power is Earthshatter.

Pidge is the daughter of the Fairy King. Her sin is Greed because she stole the Fountain of Youth, despite already having a life span that far surpassed that of humans. Her power is Animated Touch.

Romelle has the blood of a goddess in her, if only faintly. Her sin is Gluttony because her insatiable hunger led her to cause a famine. Her power is Forsight.

Story:

“The kingdom of Altea has an army of powerful Holy Knights. The most powerful of them all were the Seven Deadly Sins. Ten years prior, the Seven Deadly Sins committed treason and fled the kingdom. Now, the Holy Knights have imprisoned the king, and his only daughter Allura has escaped to go on a quest to find the Sins.”

Allura traveled with her advisor, Coran, until she came across a bar owned by a man with an attitude. That man turned out to be Keith, the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins. With the captain on her side, she was able to gather the rest of the Sins in order to save her kingdom.

The Seven Deadly Sins are seven powerful individuals who were each accused of a crime corresponding to a sin. Keith brought them together in honor of his father in order to serve King Alfor. Keith’s own sin was earned long ago when his father was killed. The people of their town found out that Keith’s dad had married a demon woman and they murdered him for it. In a fit of wrath, Keith lost all control of his humanity and slaughtered them all.

A hundred or so years later, Lance was born. Lance grew up in the human world, blissfully unaware of his elven heritage. He had a best friend that he trained with so they could one day become Knights. Eventually, Lance fell in love with a town girl. When his bff started courting her, he was saddened, but he accepted it. Until one day he discovered that his best friend had been long dead and was possessed by an evil magic. Out of fear and mercy, he killed his undead friend, but was accused of doing the act out of jealousy by the very woman he loved.

Around the same time, an explorer named Shiro led a group of humans on an expedition to the Fairy Kingdom. It was supposed to be a peaceful trip, but it became dangerous as they faced the magic of the fairy’s forest. Eventually Shiro noticed that they were being followed. He separated himself from the group and caught the spy, only to discover it was a fairy named Katie, the daughter of the Fairy King. They became friends and bonded over their mutual love of knowledge and adventure. Katie promised to introduce Shiro to the Fairy King, but only by himself. He agreed and rejoined his group, telling them to make camp for a while. When he left again with Katie, he was followed by his mentor who hoped to acquire the legendary Fountain of Youth. Just before they could reach the Fairy King, the mentor stabbed Shiro through the chest and took Katie captive, forcing her to take him to the Fountain. Having already left the rest of the group members to die, the mentor was sure he’d get not only eternal life, but great honor for being the first human to find the Fountain. Katie tricked him and did away with him once and for all. She herself took the Fountain and her own father saw it. He was forced to exile her. What he didn’t know is that she gave the water to Shiro, saving his life and making him immortal. Now she goes by Pidge and takes on a male form that looks an awful like the appearance of her missing brother, but her true form is a woman with pointed ears, wings, and long hair.

Hundreds of years prior, the oldest prince of demons betrayed his father and siblings, one of which was Keith’s mother. The demon king cursed Lotor to inhabit a human body which was weak and put a cap on his powers. The body belonged to a man that had just died, and every time his body dies, Lotor takes over the body of another recently deceased man. His skin always turns purple, and his hair is always silver. Unfortunately, Lotor was hunting down a vile human that was responsible for the deaths and atrocities against women. He slew the man, but his own body was mortally wounded in the process. Because of this, his soul took over and healed the body of the criminal, and Lotor ended up bearing the punishment of his crimes.

Centuries passed and Hunk was born, a prince of giants. When the giants were attacked, Hunk fought bravely but was put under a deep spell and slept at the center of a mountain for years. While he was asleep, there was no heir to take over the giant throne, and a wicked giant came to power. The abuse of authority nearly wiped out the giant race in its entirety, but Hunk was finally awakened and managed to put an end to the terror. Still, he was held responsible for his supposed cowardice in the situation.

A decade and a half before the Sins were framed, a young woman named Romelle was born. Her ancestor had been a goddess, but no one in her bloodline had exhibited goddess traits for a long time....until her. With the awakening of her power came an insatiable hunger that nearly drove her mad in its persistence. Unable to control herself, her body literally drew in the essence of nearby organic life. A lonely teenager, she exiled herself to a desert where she would do no harm. But she was taken as a slave, her power weak due to lack of consumption of energy. When she was brought to a flourishing town, her hunger took over but she managed to control it, sucking the life only from the plants around and not the people. While this finally satisfied her hunger for a long, long time, it caused a great famine in the surrounding land.

Voltron season 8 opinion- SPOILERS!

Okay, so I watched it with my bff @ironic-artist just a while ago and felt the need to sum up my thoughts, so here we go.

First thing to clear up, I expected nothing. Just absolutely nothing cus I thought that this series came too far to give me joy it gave me in S01 and S02. But to my highest suprise, it was better than I expected it to be. I won't lie, I have never been a fan of allurance because of my high dislike for Allura. I have never wished her death actually, but she annoyed the heck out of me. But if that's the price for allurance not being an endgame for real, then who I am to complain :') I felt so bad for Lance but this short epilog thing made me feel better and cry like a baby. For whole season I couldn't get enough of how good, responsible and caring he was for Allura. I just wished it was different person, any other ship would be okay tbh. He's such a good boy, that's my Lance, Lance I have fallen in love with in first season and I'm more than happy to see him end being his true kind self in the end. With his lovely family, the way it was supposed to be 💙 I was really worried but in the end creators did so much better! I can rest in peace now knowing my boy found some peace and joy in his life despite this big loss he has to come to terms with. I'm proud of him.

About other characters I guess it'll be better to talk about them one at the time. So here we go:

Hunk. O. M. G. The biggest suprise in this season! They handled him so much better than before, there was a lot of develepment for him. And I'm so happy he achived his dream and can bring people together with his love for cooking! He's probably the most mature one of all the characters in my eyes. Also he looks SO GOOD. I got blessed. He's so handsome, he and Pidge look the best out of the all characters. I hope he maybe got together with Shay after war ended c:

Pidge. Our sweet tech nerd has such important role now, she was born to be there! And she's finally together with her family, doing what they all love. And just look at her! Succesful and full of happiness, I love her new image at the end. It's a great mix of her old more girlish side with the Pidge we got to know and love during eigh seasons, but in more mature and confident edition. Another blessing for my eyes 💚

Shiro. OH GOD. YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME WE SAW IT COMING AT THE FIRST SIGHT OF THIS MAN. I just stopped the video when we saw him and together agreed his looks are similar to those of Adam...and we predicted it. Of course it was all off screen sadly, but THE KISS. THE KISS AT THE END, JUST RIGHT INTO MY HEART. I wish we have got more of this sweet happy Shiro on screen but well, it went better than it could, so I'm satisfied. Yes it's possible to do it better but I won't complain too much...

...because there's more. ZETHRID AND EZOR AAAAAAAAAA. So great. Even better handled if you realize they were just secondary characters. This relationship was hinted before in last season and I'm so happy they made it real in such open way. The best girlfriends ever. The pain in Zethrid eyes hurt me a lot and I'm so happy in the end they found their peaceful way.

Keith. Finally a little on the side. Not entirely but he made some space for others while still being the leader. Glad it has been this way. In the end he found his place in universe. For a moment I was afraid he'll be the next emperor but it didn't happen :'D. It would have been so bad and stupid... Maybe he got closer with Acxa later as they work together~? Let me have my headcanons ;)

I won't talk about Allura just to not ruin the positivity of this post. Let me say I wouldn't change what happend.

Lotor. After this season I feel extra bad for him. He deserved much better but in the same time his character was really well developed and it was done slowly, letting viewers make up their opinion about him. Small Lotor made me scream, the cutest child in universe. Also I have to congratulate the creators for their courage in this one scene of him sitting in his robot, all melted. Absolutely horrifing view I didn't expect to see in this type of show. Good job.

Coran. The saddest man in the universe right now probably. He didn't deserve to lost the closest person for him, the last link with his beloved Alfor. Doesn't matter he have Voltron members, he still probably feel bad he let this happen. I hope he found peace in taking care of Altea. Also another congrats for making him really similar outfit to one from original series. He looks really good in it.

Honerva. I get all pain she got throught but I don't think she deserved being so easily let go and especially she has been the reason Allura sacrificed herself. Not cool but it was soothing to see her hug her son and husband at least at the end.

For the season and plot alone, I appreciate how they tied some loose scenes, explaining them at the end. That was good. The actual plot in the last episodes was rushed for me and a bit messy, sometimes lacked some logical explanation, but whatever. Characters matter more for me than plot soo... I'm happy because it could be much worse than this. I'll be happy to rest my head with comforting thought that Voltron has ended and it wasn't terrible, even good.

Also I'm looking up to She-ra as my another series to watch! I really liked He-man as child but never got to watch She-ra, I didn't even knew it exist. My adventure with Voltron is over in a good way, it's time for another ❤

some fallout au backstories

lance still having his big family in a fallout setting would be great. they could have their own farm like in the outskirts where they’re constantly hounded by raiders and so he takes it upon himself to leave and find work to help pay for it because a farm can only provide sm. that’s how he gets entangled in hired gun work and into some serious business..... probably with nyma and rolo who run a diff organization/mercenary thing. he probs lives in diamond city either with hunk or pidge before he inevitably gets kicked out because of these Dealings....

hunk either lives in diamond city or a small settlement in the commonwealth fixing machines, power armor, and even trying to get some old cars/bikes working again. people travel a really long ways to meet him, and he’s always busy. not only does he take the jobs because he genuinely wants to help people, but because he wants to help his moms who can no longer work. lance and hunk meet when lance first moves to diamond city and instantly becomes bffs.

pidge is a diamond city resident and has never been outside diamond city. she’s great with tech and ends up getting into places she’s not supposed to be in (a.k.a. the mayor’s office and stuff). her mom, dad and brother run the science center, but when her dad and bro go on an expedition to explore rumored ‘pristine pre-war buildings’ and they hire a former member of the bos, they go missing. then she takes it upon herself to go on a mission to go after her family, determined to bring them home...

keith’s settlement was ransacked by raiders trying to get revenge on his mom. he doesn’t know if his parents are alive or dead, but either way it doesn’t matter because he gets taken to be used as muscle and to get into small places. they realize how good of a fighter he is and gets used in the combat circle. OR he’d be a drifter going from place to place. maybe both. has connections to the raiders but is trying to get himself out of it. 

shiro is a former member of the brotherhood of steel and left because of its prejudice towards ghouls, mutants, etc. he ends up taking a job as diamond city’s top gun/security officer/detective (bc detective shiro is so nut worthy to me so bare with me). he gets hired to take the holts on a science expedition and he agrees. they get captured and then he wakes up in the middle of the commonwealth with a pounding head, a cybernetic arm, and scars he doesn’t remember getting. 

allura was one the daughter of mayor alfor and one of the most biggest settlements in commonwealth called altea, even bigger than diamond city. then one day the entire settlement is Destroyed. nobody knows what happened or how. she’s the only survivor at maybe 10, and is luckily found by a ghoul named coran while she had wandered the commonwealth searching for any sign of her people. as she grows into her teenage years, she has an image of taking out raiders and making the commonwealth into a better place to live in so nothing like what happened to altea could ever happen again.

coran is a pre-war ghoul with extensive knowledge of the commonwealth and many other areas in the us because he was an extreme traveller, post war and pre war. he provides a lot of knowledge and military experience for everyone, and is the zany uncle that they know and love. he’s pretty much allura’s surrogate father and would protect her with his life. he ends up adopting everyone as he meets them and is just generally a good man. also probably raised allura within a society of ghouls which is really cool to think about

New headcanon:

So in the VR Chronicles, Coran says, "If you see a button, try pushing it! That's always been my motto!"

You can imagine the problems this caused.

Alfor, while honestly about the same, learns very quickly not to let Coran near anything with buttons and switches, probably after the first five times something blows up because Coran started pressing random buttons. Coran thinks Alfor is being incredibly hypocritical (he is), and everyone else carefully Alfor-and-Coran-proofs everything (hence the rise of Galra-activated Galra tech).

Kallura bff is totally a thing that developes. But has a rocky start.

And I gave hunk not great at stealth in the way cannon Keith is. He gets so focused on a thing he's doing badies spot him. He is also put in the look out position often with the trios antics. Cause hunk is the good kid who just gets dragged into the other twos bad antics. Or so all the higher ups think.

Shiro was a top general. When fighting first breaks out he looses his arm to sendak. (He doesn't know his blow is severe enough on sendak that his apponnet looses his eye and has to have his arm removed. Alfor makes him his new arm. And uses a piece of the metorite that he used to make Voltron. Hoping it gives him enough connection to the Lions to usurp the black lion from zarkon long enough to seal it away on the castle of lions. Which is why shiro is in the castle with the others. His husband Adam fell in the same battle that took his arm. Which is why he choose to take alfor nearly suicide mission to get black. So start of their bond.

Lance is a total flirt still. Still catches allura, same lines. Take down is harder and more violent because he is galra. First meet up starts with a hostage situation. Shiro holds onto Lance after collecting him from his princess. Lance hits on him too. And is scolded by Keith that he is being held hostage can you not. While shiro is confused.

Allura rapid fires questions at Keith since he looks altean. He negotiates, release my idiot cadet who shouldn't even be here, and then we can talk.

Allura is all why would you betray your kind and side with the galra. Some nasty adjectives used too. Shiro notes how his prisoner deflates ears sagging and tail tucked under legs. Also he and coran see hunk shrink up and his ears droop. Pidge however puffs up in indignation.

Keith promises again ignoring the jabs that they are not their enemy, they are not here to attack anyone. The red lion brought them there and they'd answer questions once Lance was released.

Heights of the galrabrids. Keith is a inch taller than shiro. Hunk is tallest specially for his age. They joke he will out grow antok. He is just an inch shorter than kolivan. Lance is the same height as shiro. Pidge is smallest. She is alluras height.

Alliances I think will be harder all the way when planets see most the paladins are galra. Let alone the blade. Some restistance groups will take to hybrids easier, they have them also.

The blade is a bit softer in this. Is more willing to share info with other groups, minor aid.

For the colony lotor is known about earlier. But contact with the colony is deemed to risky by the blade. Due to the empire having no knowledge of it outside lotors loyal people. Their hostility towards galra not a part of lotor. So Keith has never been. He was raised with kosmo as his mom brought the pup back with her. For intro to alteans kosmo is guarding red.

Allura coran same altean back story.

Adders, altean guard/soldier shiro. Purple marks, purple in his Iris. Cryo sleep with the others to protect them once they awake. Has an altean arm from a loss in battle. Keeps the face scar and tricolored hair.

Half altean, half galra Keith, his mom’s hair and markings plus red altean marks. Purple and red eyes, yellow scalera. Extra pointy ears and lower lobe points like his mom. Skin tone changes with mood. Retractable claws, pointy teeth. Blade of marmora with his mom. She found the altean colony and met Keith’s dad. And he returned with her to the blade to help give information on the colony. He later dies in a fire fight when Keith is young.

Garrison trio becomes young marmora galra recruits.

Hunk is a fluffy furry type galra a bit on the portly side. Large ears like zenthrid but not as big. Fur in area of hair is black. Not the best stealth fighter, but makes up for it with his engineering skills and cooking skills. He also has a prehensile tail. His mom and dad are both blade members. Though his mom is more like him and is often found in bases working on tech.

Pidge is part olkari, part galra. Mom is olkari and furry type galra. And dad is olkari and throk/haxus type galra. Which gave pidge and her brother Matt an unique combination of elongated skulls fluffy fur on their heads and ears like throk/haxus. Their color blocking matches with olkari but in purple and brown hues. Her family was part of the rebellion, until an attack got her family captured. She was rescued by the blade and taken in, they are helping to find her family. They keep her with their group by training her in skills to help her rescue her family. She also a top hacker.

Lastly, Lance. Kolivan’s great nephew. Has kolivan’s ears. His short fluffy hair is blue white and brown. But he also looks up to his uncle so he has a little star wars padwan braid too. He has color blocking in blue white and brown. Has a tadpole like tail. That behaves alot like a dog’s tail. He is the baby of family. All older sibs are members of the blade. Father and grandparents fell on missions. Mom is a medic like ulaz. He specializes in shooting and snipping. He however doesn’t due as well in hand to hand combat.

Keith passed the trails and is a full member. He is a few decathebes older than the trio. The trio are cadets, or in training. They are not supposed to travel outside of between bases. And not to go on missions till they have reached the age to take the trails and passed them.

They find the Lions and the castle of ancient alteans as a four man team, when the trio stowsaway on Keith’s ship on his mission to either retrieve the red lion from sendak or destroy it. Pidge was getting impatient waiting on the blade to find her family so need to get to a empire computer to hack. Hunk and Lance as friends don’t allow her to go alone.

Keith and red open a wormhole with his altean magic. The reason he was sent on the mission. Hoping his hertige would allow him use of the lion.

Just think about how much fun Sam Holt and Coran would have together. Like, instant bffs. Sam loves aliens, he'd probably think Coran is totally fascinating with all his stories and knowledge. Coran would be over the moon that someone genuinely thinks he's interesting and wants to listen to all his old stories. Sam Holt loves space food AND after whatever they serve in the Galra prisons his taste buds are going to be so out of wack he'll probably think Coran is a culinary genius (plus, actual authentic alien food? Interesting, even if it's terrible) The two of them would probably swap stories about their home planets and share memories of the loved ones they left behind. Sam would talk about his wife, Coran would tell him about Alfor and the queen. Also bonding over being the resident uncles/dads Season 2, make it happen!
