Can We Just Talk About How Disturbing Rowan-Webb's Story Is?:

Seriously, the poor guy was just a teen (20's at the most) when he got turned into a frog. Been like that for DECADES. Just think of his parents, grandparents, siblings (if he had any) or other close family and friends living their lives and possibly dying not knowing what had truly became of Algernon. The confusion, the fear, the possible anger (he could've ran away for all they knew), the sorrow. And Mortimer Mistletoe (the bloke responsible) had basically got away with it!

You'd think the writers would've made some follow-up to that. Not even a team-up between Mistletoe, Broomhead, Agatha Cackle and (maybe even) Harriet Hogweed.

I just got into The Worst Witch series on Netflix, and just started trying to find fics that interest me. Now, I have a question to the fandom.

Why is there no tag for a Mildred Hubble and Algernon Rowan-Webb friendship?!

He called her little tadpole! She was so excited that he could've been her granddad! He's always happy to interact with her! They have the chant 'be like a frog!' He stopped her from quitting! He believed in her abilities when she doubted herself and urged her to atleast try! They're frog buddies!

They could have the cutest adoptive granddad-esque relationship. :c
