"I bet it's a beautiful day on the Outside. Snow is falling, cars are running... on days like these, Rexys like you…"

A big soft and fuzzy blanket appears out of (seemingly) nowhere and wraps itself all around Rex in a couple of gentle layers, tightly. Someone's hand lands onto his head and rubs itself into his scalp, insufferably gentle as well.

"…Should be trained to ✨behave✨."

Rex is already tuning out Eric's voice the moment he starts talking, too lost in thoughts of murder, torture and how to get away with poisoning his ex-husband and dump him where no one will ever find his slowly dying body. It's something that's been on his mind for a few days now and he's ignored 99% of Eric's comments since then.

In hindsight, he should've known better than to think he could get away with that. The moment the blanket wraps itself around him, Rex snaps out of his murderous daydreaming and turns all of that aggressive energy towards Eric instead.

"Let me go this fucking instant, motherfucker, I fucking swear I'll-" His threats cut off with a strangled noise as hands are placed on his head. It halts the train of his thoughts straight in their tracks and Eric could see his expression bluescreen for a long moment at the sudden pleasant feeling of getting scalp pets. Still, Rex isn't ready yet to submit to his gentle doom.

"Eric." He growls, writhing in his prison. "Eric, I- fucking swear…..st-stop it!"

"OW!" Alan screamed, cradling their freshly poked arm.

"Who did that!" They cried, staring directly at the entity who just did that. Despite their sudden cries, they couldn't help but grin all the while.

"Not now, porn bots, this asshole threatened to cancel all my stuff if I don't do this commission for him." He sadly reaches over to press [IGNORE] on Eric's poke. His key is too sticky though, probably from either blood or monster that he spilled earlier.

Will curses and hits it violently, repeatedly until it becomes unstuck.

"All that super long mockey babble is such a waste of time and trolley potential. You know, you could just say 'you suuck, Virex :3' and roll back to whatever staring contest ya got. Needless to say the obvious stuff, but I gonna spell it anyway: you both are looosers >:3"

Ford narrows his eyes at the notification the same way one might look at a spammy pop up advertise single hot ladies in your area now! and opens the start menu on the computer he's currently seated at.

He searches around it for a while but he doesn't find what he's looking. Figures, he supposes. These computers are old in every way, not just their aesthetic. They wouldn't have updated anti-viruses, much less any refined tools, such as the anti-pokers™.

"I have to ask Cornelius what sort of protections they use on these computers, this is incredibly bad information security." He mutters to himself as he fishes out a wire from one of his many pockets. Ford connects his phone to the computer and then downloads a program onto the desktop.

[ Activate Anti-Poking Software™? Yes/No ]

Ford clicks on 'yes'.

[ Activated! You are now protected from Online Poking.]

"Finally." He shakes his head and then returns to his browsing - which currently is searching a site called Paragon.com for new pens.

"Did evil get you yet?"

"I suppose that depends on what you call evil." Leonard muses, chin in his hand as he watches Eric on the other side of his room. He's made sure their room was locked tight and tucked him into his bed.

"Evil has caught me time and time again. I have scars mental and physical, as well as protections with stories to tell. The things I have written down in my journal may give a weaker man nightmares for months. I have encountered so much, in both positive and negative ways...."

He pauses and looks down at his hands. Over the closed journal, he is examining the ring Alice gave Eric, the ancient silver piece with the intricate eye and the cloudy gemstone. It seems to be looking back at him with cool disinterest.

"I don't think Evil is always...bad. A lot of the beings mankind calls evil are just beings with their own agenda. Their own needs. Is it evil to want to survive? Is it evil to not realize that your existence causes suffering to tiny beings you're not even aware of? Humans think we are in the center of everything."

Leonard drops the ring. It bounces a moment and then lands so it is facing Eric, watching the Watcher.

"Regardless, I enjoy being in Darkness. I need more of it. I need to run headfirst into danger and see it all, witness it with my small, insignificant human body. For what other reason am I alive for?"

"I don't see you coming up with any clever ideas! You probably knew what he was doing up there and you didn't think to tell anyone, huh?"

"Did you two actually unplug the old moron? What made you think it's a wise idea, babygirls? Tsk."
