I know people have said it before, but I love with Pokemon that there are common fan favorites but then everyone also has a random guy they like that makes no sense to anyone but them. I guess we’ll see if my choices make any sense lol. I do find myself liking grass and fairy types best but when it comes to my favorites they’re across the board for whatever reason. Also this was sooo hard for some reason, there’s so many little guys I love I wanted to show them all off 😭 but here are my absolute favs!

Downside of collecting Pokémon plushies is that every single time I get a new delivery, I have to explain to my parents (who don't know jackshit about Pokémon) what my new little adorable freakchild is and sometimes I end up looking like:

Because my taste in Pokémon is cute critters, most of the time I can get away with just saying "It's a cat/bird/dog/fox etc" and they'll except it, but sometimes if the Pokémon is more... unconventional, it gets a bigger, (mostly "What the fuck?") reaction.

Examples:

Unfortunately Raichu is one of the few Pokémon my dad DOES know (because he watched the Lieutenant Surge episode of the anime sometime when it first aired) and I'm mentally preparing to explain the concept of Regional Variants to him to explain why this Raichu is sitting on its tail.

My mum was like "Sweet jesus what is that thing?!" I just went "Oh it's just a cute arctic fox :)" and deliberately omitted the part where it's literally a ghost reborn from pure malice

My dad thinks these are terrifying.

My mother misheard me and thought this one was called "Lardy Ass"

"Is it a peacock?"

Definitely the most positive reaction I've ever gotten. My mum's face lit up.

To quote my dad:

"Of all the doofy things you order, this is the best one."

Found a bootleg of this plush at good will the other day.

Gonna try to get the stains out of her (she's been washed but that didn't get it out oops)

Might give her more stuffing and the details on her feet like the real thing.

She could use smth cute to wear too maybe 🤔

Review/Opinion: This guy looks so cute. A little expensive for the size but then again I feel like that's true for most pokemon plushes.

I got a very exciting package in the mail today. 😸 Vulpix is my all time favourite and I just had to order these as soon as I found out about them. They are so adorable and matching pairs as well! 🤎🧡🤍🩵

Now I just have to figure out a way to fit them on my (already very full) vulpix shelf.

Long time no see! This is the 1/1 Lillie’s Vulpix plush, made by Takara Tomy, that was available in Japan in December of 2017. (It’s honestly one of my ultimate grails, but way too pricey right now for a broke college student 😭)
