#dracula#dracula daily#brides of dracula#weird sisters#my dracula interpretations#my art#at first I wanted to draw them in dresses that would allude to their respective cultures#but decided to actively go against it#to emphasize their loss of identity#Even Edelgard who likes renaissance fashion wears an English Tudor-era dress instead#and the two others western-style dresses#I didn't want to emphasize sexuality; however#the necks (and upper chest) being uncovered does also show their perpetual vulnerability#which is why they wear chokers or necklaces#aishe doesnt like pressure around her neck so she opts for a necklace instead#I tried to also vary their personalities and backgrounds#it's a shame I couldn't put aishe in a Romani style dress; i made research about it too 😔#Edelgard was to have a renaissance dress and hairstyle as well#before I opted to change both#Iryna was the last to be drawn so not much changes in her wardrobe#I hope the way each reacts to their situation is interesting.#they have an oppressive man controlling their every nerve and each has their way of going about it#and they all find comfort in each other especially#I like them :)#bastard girls#art#illustration

i don’t think we talk enough about declan being equally as down bad and ‘all or nothing’ with romance as ronan is. like yes ronan said he would start wars and burn cities for adam’s true smile, begged god for adam after he first saw him and fortuitously had all his objects of worship were in one downtown block etc but ronan had known adam atleast 18 months at this stage. whereas declan really risked it all to get tyrian purple overnight for a first date gift after ONE conversation…the man was discussing their marriage as a ‘when’ not an ‘if’ before we even saw them kiss like what’s his excuse lmaoo

All this aroace character shipcourse has proven to me that a majority of people that interact in fandom cannot actually interact with characters and media outside of shipping and genuinely I believe you need to learn how to interact with media outside of shipping.
