"Hm? Did you say something, Yukimiya-san?" You asked, tilting your head at the sudden outburst from the brunette player. You were busy tapping on your tablet, answering emails and other chores you were meant to finish as you ate in the canteen.

It was yet another day in Blue Lock, and the cafeteria was still empty except for you and Isagi until Yukimiya entered the cafeteria and found you sitting on a chair. Oh, but it definitely was not the one that caught his attention. Instead, his eyes glared at the slumbering striker that used the rest of the chairs as some sort of bed, with his head on your lap.

It definitely pissed him off, especially with how Isagi had his arms wrapped around your waist while sleeping away on your lap.

"How long has been here?"

"Oh, you mean Isagi-san? He was having a headache earlier, so I said he could sleep on me if he wanted to. So he did."

"Did he now?"

He swore to god that the veins on his forehead were so close to popping. What the hell was that bastard thinking? The shameless audacity to do this was just appaling to the brunette.

Okay, maybe it was because of the green envy running on his veins because he knows he does not have the guts to do this to you (he has a reputation as the gentleman to uphold) but damn, he did not know thag Isagi can be this...upfront.

Now, maybe it was you who offered to do this. It would not be surprising with your empathetic and caring nature, but are you thag clueless and oblivious, that you can let a random guy rest his head on top of your thighs.

"Damn, Isagi..."

He looked to be comfortable with it, too, softly snoring away and face nearly burying his face on your stomach.

It did not take long before the other guys also entered the cafeteria, and at first, it was all good and peaceful, probably because the exhaustion of practice wore them out. Though, they have yet to see the spectacle Yukimiya was currently glaring at.

But of course, it did not take long before the players searched for you. There you were, sitting peacefully, eyeing your tablet while eating, and on your lap was one Isagi...oh.

"What the fuck?" Barou let out the coldest curse he ever mustered out as he took in what he was seeing.

"Yeah, what the fuck indeed." Niko blinked, glaring at the slumbering raven haired striker.

"Am I the only who has the urge to grab his hair and drag him out of his position?"

"Nope. Do it, no balls." Otoya answered a pissed off Karasu, who looked about ready to jump someone.

"I think you guys are overreacting..." Nagi pouted, feeling jealous as well, but seeing as he always finds himself resting on your thighs when he is feeling extra lazy, he was not as worried as the others were.

"No, we're not. Isagi is dead." Reo said, not even paying attention that it was his turn to get his food from the machines.

"Y/n-chan! What happened with Isagi?" Bachira hopped to the seat next to you, seeing as the others were still too stunned to overtake it (they would always fight for the chairs closest to you, its like a whole Olympic game itself, believe me).

"Hm? Isagi-san was not feeling well, so I let him rest here!" And as if you could not make them anymore jealous, your hand found itself patting and massaging Isagi's hair to try and help relieve any left over pain from his headache even if he is still asleep.

The whole cafeteria was quiet. It is much too quiet than it usually is. But if you could only stop being oblivious for once, the hawk like glare everyone was giving Isagi was noise enough to scare and bother someone who has mental and common stability.

Too bad most of the Blue Lockers do not have that.

"He must have saved the world to be this damn lucky." Chigiri rolled his eyes, before continuing to eat his meal.

"Are we even sure that the headache is real or its just a ploy of his." Aiku doubted. Damn, now he wants to know how it feels to also lay his head on your thighs.

"Dunno, that's unlike Isagi. But still, no forgiveness on him. Traitor." Hiori sassed. Oh, he is definitely getting back at him at practice when he feels supposedly better.

"Oh, wait. Isagi-san, wakey, wakey. You need to eat to better your headache." You said in a whisper, gently shrugging the boy's shoulder.

With a groan, Isagi opened his eyes before standing up, still a bit groggy from his sleep. As he adjusted, you took that time to get him his food as quick as you can before putting it in front of him on the desk.

"Here, eat up! Say 'ahh'." You raised up a chopstick of pork to him to which the boy blushed at, before shyly accepting the pampering treatment.

"Now I wanna be sick. Come on, someone sneeze on me." Lorenzo commented from another table, moving Niko by his shoulders urging the boy to do something as if he knows how to make someone intentionally sick in the first place.

"Wifey material. For real, for real." Shidou blabbered, being stopped by literally Karasu and Nanase from going over to you and Isagi and doung whatever the weird demon had in his mind.

"Feed me too, Y/n-nie!" Charles hopped from his seat to where you are, which pissed off Rin so much he started chanting some curses and insults under his breath that he looked like he was summoning dozens of malevolent spirits.

"Um...okay, Charles-san. But maybe after Isagi-san, since he is sick." You happily accepted, although a bit confused as to why he wants you to feed him too.

"No one is stopping me from stomping on Charles."

"Kunigami no-"

"Kaiser-san, please don't bully Isagi-san. He was not feeling well earlier." You frowned at the German striker who is once again, acting like the cliche mean girl towards Isagi who just glared back at the man.

"Oh, no. Listen, häschen, I have a score to settle with little Yoichi here." Kaiser, who was not present earlier at lunch, heard what happened through word of mouth, and needless to say, he was jealous and pissed that his number one rival in the sport, is also his number one rival in another area.

"Leave me alone, Kaiser."

"How about you do that first with Y/n? Not be a creep?" The blonde striker retorted back with a smug smile on his face. The rest of the Bastard players just entered the field and did not even blimk when they saw Isagi and Kaiser fighting again.

It was another ordinary Wednesday for the German Stratum.

Meanwhile, you just looked at the tension between the two with confusion, trying your best to understand what they are even arguing about again.

'Is this what they call sexual tension? Well, do they even swing that way?'

"Repeat what I said again, Y/n." Chris smiled, coaxing the girl who looked at him with understanding and determination to obey his words.

"No man is ever worthy of me. Especially hormonal football teenagers. And...um...what was after that?"

"Oh! I deserve someone who is a man who will take care of me well, instead! And if I don't find one, its better for me to be a single, free lady."

"That's my kid!" The blonde coach laughed loudly, patting your head as you smiled back at him, happy that you pleased your mentor and father figure.

Growing up, your father was not the best paternal guidance you had. He does not care about your emotional and psychological needs, only there to improve your intelligence. He never taught you life lessons about the world and how to survive its cruelty.

But now, it seems like you have many father figures (and a maternal figure) to learn the things you were never taught about before. So of course, you paid the utmost attention to the coaches' words and obey them as best you could.

"You're dooming Y/n to a lonely life?" Snuffy raised an eyebrow at Chris, a little doubtful and suspicious of the English man's words.

"Oh, come on! As a man who has been a teen, I know how most teens' minds work. They have to learn how to be a man first in order to treat the princess right. And I'll be the one to make sure of that!" Chris retorted at the Ubers' coach, which just led to Snuffy sighing before patting your head as well.

"He is right at some points. But don't take most of his advice too seriously."

michael kaiser ₊˚⊹ ᰔ : words of affirmation ! and acts of service (??)

there’s a void in kaiser’s life in terms of love, so it’s very difficult for him to open up to somebody entirely because he would let his insecurities consume him. he considers himself very vulnerable, which is why he has that front of high self-worth and defence because he’s afraid of letting somebody see him as ‘weak’ again.

kaiser would have to incontrovertibly love somebody to even consider a relationship, and when he’s in one then he’d treat them with the utmost respect, he would be extremely needy. he needs that reassurance that his partner loves him and would never hurt him - physically or mentally. he needs verbal reassurance because it would be the easiest for him to process & understand, but he shows his love to them in more tangible ways, through the way he treats them compared to other people. his biggest fear is becoming like his father and he needs that reassurance that he's not.

kaiser doesn’t like to do things for anybody, he’ll treat it as a chore unless it’s for his partner. he’ll wake up a bit earlier to make them breakfast and he’ll go out of his way to change his schedule for his partner. but he would get so embarrassed if somebody pointed it out lol. he would enjoy tending to his partner, like helping them bathe & he would ensure to be insanely careful because he doesn’t want them to get hurt the way he was.

rin itoshi ₊˚⊹ ᰔ : physical touch!!, but also acts of service

rin wouldn’t actively seek out a relationship, he prefers things to come together naturally, which is why he was slightly embarrassed when he realised his feelings for his childhood best friend were a bit more than platonic. he would feel extremely guilty and nervous around them until they noticed in less than a month. rin was very relieved when they liked him back because he thought that he could only build that sort of connection with one person, which was them.

rin was clingy when he was younger, they were his only friend alongside sae. so when his brother left for spain, rin became significantly more reliant on his friend, he would enjoy activities like holding their hand and stroking their hair. once rin started to despise his brother, he started using physical touch as a more tangible way to share his affection with his partner & the way he held them now seemed more possessive because he needed the reassurance that they wouldn’t abandon him the way that sae did.

rin has a very individualistic mindset, he prefers small things in his daily life to be consistent. regardless, he doesn’t mind tweaking his schedule ever so slightly to cater to the needs of his partner, and he’ll happily skip a morning run if it means basking in their presence for a little bit longer. even when they were younger, rin would act like this, he has always just wanted them to be as safe as possible so he’ll subconsciously move to walk on the roadside of the path or he’ll have their arm wrapped around his so he can easily tug them towards him when walking past someone he considers unsafe.

reo mikage ₊˚⊹ ᰔ : leaning towards receiving gifts, but also words of affirmation

reo would be a good boyfriend, but in previous relationships, his affection was monopolised and many people dated him solely for material benefits such as gifts and status. he trusts too easily, which is one of his main weaknesses in terms of love. he appreciates a genuine connection with somebody who he can be devoted to without having to worry about being manipulated or used.

reo has always been expected to be the provider in all his other relationships, he’s had to spoil people with expensive restaurants and designer gifts, which is why it was a pleasant surprise to be spontaneously gifted something by his new partner. he found it refreshing - not needing to be the one to splurge on his significant other for no reason whatsoever. reo would be so grateful, cherishing and keeping every small gift close to his heart, he’ll install little shelves in his room to decorate his living space.

reo is the most observant person, especially for his partner. he takes time just simply watching them do mundane activities, utterly absorbed until he figures out the most imaginative compliment ever and they’ll just be a bit stunned for a couple moments. reo would find pride in understanding his partner beyond his ability because he wants somebody to put in the same effort for him. reo would be utterly entranced & dedicated to his partner, he would assure them every day that he would never consider somebody else even if they weren’t too insecure.

alexis ness ₊˚⊹ ᰔ : mainly words of affirmation (obviously!) but also quality time

ness would still tend to associate that ‘subservient’ attitude with love at the beginning of his relationship. he would try to treat them as somebody above him, which is why throughout their relationship, his partner would teach him how to respect & love himself before them, but he still has that loyalty engraved into him deep.

since he was young, ness associated verbal affection with love because it’s simply something he watched other children receive and not him, which is why in a relationship he becomes quite yearnful for them to reassure him that they love and truly appreciate him. he would go out of his way to achieve their validation, doing tasks/errands for them until they assure him that they’ll happily shower him in praise and affection whenever he needs it - not just because he had worked for it.

again linking it back to his childhood, he was always alone & hated that feeling, so he feels the need to always be around his partner so they don’t experience those emotions too. he enjoys doing activities alone with his partner such as watching movies at home, doing puzzles, and decorating cakes. ness associates love with time spent with his partner, so he likes to fill his free time up with doing small, but meaningful activities with them. although, he still enjoys small day trips/travelling with them because he wants to experience life holistically with his partner.

i saw the “only a reader/writer can tell the difference” trend on tiktok, so here’s my analysis on it:

you left me - a lover who got cheated on or abandoned moved on, but the person who cheated suddenly realizes how miserable their life is without them and they go crawling back to them before the one they cheated on yells at them and says “you left me, so don’t come crawling back to me begging for me to take you back!”

you left me - a lover who is more hurt by the fact that they left rather than the fact that they probably don’t love them anymore or had some sort of tragic reason of why they left. an argument in the rain after the breakup where the abandoned lover goes “you left me. i loved you—no, i love you—and yet you still left me. why?”

you left me - a lover who was abandoned by their partner, but they’re in shock that they could ever get abandoned by anyone. i mean, after everything they’ve done for them, they just end up getting abandoned? they loved them, and yet they only ended up getting left behind and picking up the fragmented pieces of their heart.

you left me - this whole situation is just painful to them. it’s almost like a whisper when it comes out of their mouth, something that could harm them just by hearing it. they never knew that they could feel this much pain, that they could ever feel the rain pour on their heartstrings this much because of abandonment.

the rich aunt uncle, this motherfucker gifted every single person at the party something well over $1000, and the worst part is he knew exactly what to give everyone too. would brush it off with a “oh, its nothing. just spare change.” .. rich ass. screams in joy when someone gifts him something back, could be a $2 teddy bear and suddenly you’re opening your phone to ‘reo mikage has sent you $3000’.

★ NAGI : LONER #2

also forced to show up like kaiser. parties were never nagi’s thing, he’d much rather stay at home and play video games all day. it took a little bit of convincing ( and a lot of whining ) but he agreed to come if he could bring his phone. does not participate in anything, just lounges in the corner with the occasional damn it when he loses.

★ SAE : THE FUCKS A RETURN GIFT?

he came, with no gifts at all. according to him he expected everyone to be giving him gifts and not expecting anything in return.. i mean, his parents never asked him for a present back so could you blame him? yeah.. you kinda could. i could see him trying to make everything about soccer, imagine this: you’re unboxing your present and you get something like a new pan, and suddenly this bitch speaks up like. “shame its not a soccer ball.. this is why you suck.” someone tape his mouth now.

helped hosting the party, cleaned the house spotless! he also probably cooked 70% of the food, thats what growing with sisters gets you :b. doubled as a security guard of sorts outside the house. except he didn’t ask for identification, he’d yell at you to take your dang shoes off before you walk in. spill anything on the floor? he is coming for you and your entire bloodline.. just kidding!

★ BACHIRA : “SANTA’S REAL..”

unironically believes santa is real, please help this man. to this date he still puts cookies and milk on the table. his mother used to eat them and keep a couple of presents under the tree, thinking he’ll eventually realise santa isn’t real.. which he didn’t. so when the presents suddenly stopped coming and no one ate the cookies, he thought he was on the naughty list forever and sobbed about it for 20 minutes.. poor guy. his heart shattered when isagi held his hand and told him santa isn’t real—he was only trying to help, he swears!

★ SHIDOU : “BRO YOU WEREN’T INVITED???”

shidou is the complete contrast from bachira. does not believe santa is real and crashes the party ( he was not invited. ) yells at children that santa isn’t real and started a tomato war at the party when someone threw a tomato at him and yelled booo! … thankfully, he was later kicked out.

★ ISAGI : SANTA.. NOT REALLY!

epitome of santa, the opposite of kaiser. made hand-made gifts for everyone.. well, almost everyone. ( did not bring one for kaiser <3 ) he had a mini concert at the party, singing his heart out until someone kaiser burst out laughing and started mocking his singing.. things got a little heated from there! lets just say the title of santa was taken away from isagi the moment his ass opened his mouth 💔

★ OTOYA : “WHERE THE HOES AT”

came for the hoes cause he was told there would be a bunch of hotties at the party, which there wasn’t.. but thats okay, he swings both ways! assaulted chigiri with his ninja moves until he got bored, probably pulled up a 10 slide presentation on why he should introduce him to his sister and that he’s got ‘the experience’.. yeah, he got slapped in the face.

★ KARASU : HO ACT LIKE HE A JUDGE..

everybody hates him. constantly judging literally everything.. “these cookies ‘r mediocre at best..” “i could gift ya somethin’ better cutie.” “damn, these decorations lame as hell.” you get the point. starts pouting like a man-child when isagi tells him to shut the hell up, he knows he deserves it but he just can’t help the lil itch in his brain to judge everything okay! ( he just like me fr.. red flag moment 💔 )

cool unc of the party, drinks are on him alright. i can imagine him grabbing a random sharpie he found on a desk and suddenly giving out tattoo’s for a dollar, broke ass. works pretty efficiently until he’s being labelled a scammer when the tattoo turns out to look like dog shit.. cut him some slack, he’s no artist! leaves the party early when one of his hoes text him to come over.. ima slap the shit out of him n eita 💕

ᯓ Michael Kaiser - the domestic & doting type

Kaiser turns into the biggest baby around his s/o. How could he not? She spoils him rotten after all. And she hardly minds because she knows that he's just seeking out the care and affection he missed out in his childhood. In a way, he's healing his inner child. Don't get me wrong; he's not using her as some sort of replacement for a parent figure. But he's trying to feel what it's like to be truly loved.

He absolutely loves it when she cooks for him. His heart throbs like crazy whenever their s/o shows even the slightest bit of concern for him. And don't even get him started about the way she would take care of him before and after his practice. At the end of the day, he makes sure to reciprocate her efforts in his own little ways. Suddenly, he's the kindest, most gentle, and most loving man on Earth. And whenever his salary comes in, she's sure to be at a fancy restaurant that night and receiving the queen treatment she deserves.

I have a feeling that he's into nice looking hair. It doesn't matter if it's long or short as long as it's healthy and has volume to it. He's probably into dyed hair as well. He also finds that beautiful hair pairs up well with a pretty set of eyes. The more expressive they are, the better.

ᯓ Sae Itoshi - the shy & soft-spoken type

Sae might seem like a big b*tch to everyone else, but he's surprisingly nice to women (as long as they're not a crazy fanatic). Well... "nice" is a bold term, so let's just say he's aloof. He's not harsh towards them, but he's not going to smile at them either. But! Deep down he has a soft spot for the cute and shy kind of girl. He just can't find it in him to be cold to that kind of person; It almost feels wrong.

But, yes, he'll never admit that in a million years. However, the changeup is noticeable. It's subtle, but you can tell through how his voice softens ever so slightly when talking to his s/o. She might be cursing herself for failing to maintain eye contact with him or tripping over her sentences. But Sae finds all of this quite endearing. And trust me when I say that he becomes the biggest menace around her—making her flustered at every opportunity he comes across. He can't get enough of it.

In terms of looks, he likes it when a girl has soft features with short hair that frames her rounded face. Her plump cheeks make it more enjoyable for him to poke whenever he teases her. It's also canon that he's into ass... so, yeah. He says it's all about the shape and less about the size.

ᯓ Isagi Yoichi - the funny & carefree type

Isagi had the luxury of growing up in a healthy environment, so I think it's only natural for him to gravitate towards someone the same. If she has a great sense of humor with a relaxed demeanor, then he's pretty much sold. Frankly, he doesn't need anything more. Isagi finds beauty in simplicity. His s/o is someone akin to a hidden gem. She isn't flashy by any means, but she's incredibly sweet so she stands out that way.

He wonders why no one has gone after her before. But, oh well, more of her for him! She never fails to make him laugh even if the jokes are corny. They're the type of couple everyone's annoyed at because they're too sweet and now they feel jealous. Oh, but Isagi fell even harder once she witnessed his different side while playing football. He fully expected her to be repulsed, but she was amused. Apparently it was cool to see him so pumped up like that.

He's not that particular when it comes to looks. As long as she has a gentle expression and she takes care of herself, he'll be happy. When it comes to clothes... well, he has no clue about that so even a simple style impresses him. He's really a low maintenance guy and we love him for that. Canonically into thighs, so he doesn't care if it's plump or muscular—he's content as long as he can squeeze 'em.

ᯓ Rin Itoshi - the perfectionist & intelligent type

When you think of the title "Ice Queen"—whatever comes to mind, that's exactly his type. In other words, I have a STRONG feeling that Rin is essentially going for the female version of himself. He doesn't give a shit if she's worse than him. In fact, that makes it better in his opinion. Someone's gotta put him in place, right? He'll happily let her do that as long as he deems her on par with him. And I don't mean that she has to be a football freak; she just needs to be more or less well-rounded.

Apart from his standards being sky high, he just wants to make sure that his girl is better than his brother's girl. Toxic, I know. But what were you expecting? Regardless, he'll always make sure to let her know that she's the best in his eyes. Totally out of character, but he'll be praising her like crazy if he's truly in love with her. I can definitely see an enemies-to-lovers story happening to this guy.

He's probably into the clean girl aesthetic. He finds the look elegant and sleek. It makes her look like she has her shit together and he digs that. Perhaps he prefers dark medium length hair—so, brown and black hues.

ᯓ Bachira Meguru - the calm & laid-back type

When I say calm and laid-back, I don't necessarily mean someone who's the polar opposite of him. She's still going to be as hyper and energetic as him... just a bit more lowkey. I'll be real and say that Nagi probably wasn't the best person to be in a relationship with in the early stages. Of course, he needs some time to get used to having a whole other person constantly be around his space, requiring his attention. It's going to be a difficult ordeal, so it's totally valid to get exhausted. But once he realizes how patient and understanding she is, he'll try harder for her.

One day he'll just wake up on a random morning missing her warmth, then his mind will wander to what his life would be like without her. He'd be terrified to the point that he'll do a full 360 and become the most doting he's ever been. Well, he'll nowhere be near overbearing, but he'll at least show that he cares.

He prefers it when she has short hair or if she has longer hair—she would normally have it in an updo. He says long hair makes it itchy when he nuzzles his face into the crook of her neck when cuddling. And speaking of cuddling, Nagi would love it if she was built for warm cuddling. He falls asleep in seconds like a Minecraft character.

ᯓ Reo Mikage - the down-to-earth & responsible type

One of Reo's biggest considerations when it comes to finding love is his partner's perception of money. He's insanely rich, so it's understandable that he wants to find someone who isn't going to date him solely for his bank. He's going to be wary of everyone at first, but he'll fold once he finds someone who's genuinely practical and down-to-earth. Reo will be smitten knowing that she's staying with him because of... him.

With that being said, she needs to be responsible as well. I mean, responsible in the sense that she has her life together. She works hard towards her dreams which matches his goal-oriented persona. If she's financially responsible then, even better. Make those budget spreadsheets in front of him and he'll be impressed. In the end, he spoils her anyway.

Reo's probably into the unique kind of look. She dyed her hair a fun color and wears bold fashion pieces. Minimalist tattoos and piercings are her thing. He'll definitely take pictures of her and post her on his social media—practically bragging about her. He may or may not have paid for most of her tats and piercings because he thinks they're hot.

Kunigami is a strong-willed person before and after the wildcard. So, of course, he'd be drawn to someone of the same air. His ideal girl is someone who can handle herself in tough situations—someone with a gritty, no-nonsense attitude and a street-smart edge. She knows how to navigate the challenges of life with a cool head and a confident stride. In other words, she can fight her own battles, but appreciates that Kunigami would always be there by her side regardless.

He's attracted to her because she isn't afraid to speak up for herself or for whatever she stands for, even if it means challenging him. you crush the handle of the convenience store bag in your fist, crumpling it with frustration. inside the plastic lies the snacks he requested, the packaging crinkling with your steps forward.

the farther you walk the more lost you become, seeming to go in loops around the same places. or maybe not? you can't tell. everything looks the same, you feel as if you're wandering like a headless chicken in a liminal space or something of the sort.

until you hear his friend's distinct laugh, their voices being a blessing to your eardrums. you impatiently scurry over to where the sounds are coming from and follow them into another walkway.

you had found the door to the gym, finally.

when you walk inside and see him you basically stop in your tracks to admire the view. his breathtaking and masculine features are beading with sweat as he focuses intensely on the weights he's lifting on the bench press, his biceps flexing and trembling.

"thanks for these." rin speaks, reaching down to get the bag of treats you bought for him.

he spreads it open to peek inside, everything he asked for is in there. he then sluggishly places the bag back down nearest his feet.

his hair is still covering the top part of his face, you observe him whip it to the side with his fingers but it falls right back down. this makes you grin slightly. he's not moving, sitting next to you just catching his breath and resting his sore, fatigued arms.

"here, let me help you." you pull off a hair tie from your wrist and scoot closer.

he flinches but then stays in place, allowing you to touch his head. you're then bundling some of the strands into a tail and wrapping it with the sparkling hairpiece.

he bats his thick lashes and looks up at your hands playing with his wet hair, as you gently wrap another pigtail on the opposite side with another band.

"much better!" you beam, but he doesn't reply.

his lips just barely move, into what looks like the tiniest smile. bachira then comes over shortly after to use the machine next to the one you two are sitting atop.

"[name]! heeey!" he greets and waves, happy to see you.

"bachira! how have y-" he cuts off your response.

"rin! your hair!" he snickers and you laugh, "what a pretty princess!"

a few other boys turn around, distracted from their workout now with his loud words filling the spacious room. you hear other giggles soon afterwards, aside from yours and bachira's.

"shut up. all of you." his expression is now serious but he leaves his hair tied, the way you did it for him.

he swiftly grabs your gift and gets up to leave the gym, his feet pat the ground as he treads out. you can't stop laughing, your stomach aching from the strain. your friend and the other men's laughter is painfully contagious.

you had always been good at reading people.

it was one of your strengths. it came naturally. one person, however, that you had a lot of trouble reading, was chigiri hyoma.

he wasn't mean and emotionally constipated like itoshi rin, but he wasn't sunshiney and constantly happy like bachira meguru.

you thought that he was a pretty calm guy who was on the serious side and pretty straightforward, but sometimes he'd tell the funniest jokes or get extremely sarcastic, and it would throw off your perception of him. it was confusing.

he wasn't rude. he was very polite and well-mannered. sometimes, though, he'd get oddly stubborn and sassy. he'd go from being elegant and cordial to "hell no! this is my last gummy worm and you can't have it!"

you had thought that he was a sort of feminine guy. he had the prettiest, most well cared-for hair you had ever seen, clean cuticles, and flawless glass skin. he seemed delicate and didn't care much for roughing around with the team z boys.

but then, he'd get oddly masculine and ferocious whilst playing soccer. he would hit the gym all the time and got literal gym withdrawals if he didn't go enough for his liking. you couldn't really tell if he was more masculine or feminine, and that, too, was very perplexing.

he seemed very well-educated and intelligent. he spoke in full, eloquent, well-worded sentences, and had once briefly spoken of the honors and AP's he had taken in years past.

but he also put metal in the microwave once. and put both colors and whites in the washing machine at the same time. so, clearly, he wasn't necessarily the brightest.

he was so hard to pin down. like a walking contradiction.

he was generally quieter and kept to himself, so you had assumed that he was the independent type, but clearly, you were wrong about that, too.

Isagi thought the day at Shibuya would go by smoothly, in contrast with the incoming traffic flowing beside their walking lane.

What he didn't expect though is having a rowdy group of boys (himself included) hiding concernigly and inconspicuously behind almost transparent bushes and two tall vending machines which unfortunately didn't conceal much since Bachira and Otoya kept unintentionally nudging their heads against each other to peek at the victim who had caused this predicament.

The others did not offer much help at the situation either when Isagi dejected at the side, seeing the tallest members of the group hiding behind small bushes. "Forgive us" he muttered your name in pity.

It did not feel right to be hiding like this from Blue Lock's resident assistant manager, who is by the looks of it enjoying their time off work considering the slight smile etched on their tired face.

Heavy eye-bags evident that must be—Isagi hypothesize—the results of being assigned to handle 300 lively, troubling, and passionate strikers. As intense as he is when it comes to soccer, he commends their manager for their unwavering dedication.

"I thought we were picking up Nagi?" Isagi questioned to no one in particular as originally they were supposed to pick up their friend at an arcade.

Otoya gave a quick glance at Isagi and back at their target, "No can do! We must unravel this mystery."

"What mystery?" Isagi dropped a cold sweat.

"The person our manager is waiting for." A hand rested on his shoulder and red hair swayed softly as Chigiri's face came to Isagi's view that drew closer over his shoulder now, seemingly trying to get a better view.

"Wa-wait- you don't mean?" Isagi hitched a quick breath at the revelation.

Now everything clicked. The small and rare smiles he'd see back at Blue Lock as you tapped your phone. Sudden gifts like chocolates, flowers, and other trinkets that had now became questioningly downright romantic he'd see you hold around the base. A freshly prepared warm meal of ochazuke within your hands, a dish not commonly seen inside quarters.

When Isagi and Bachira approached you to ask about it, you simply dismissed it with a proud smirk "It's for a silly guy who overworked to sickness." You walked away after. Isagi dumbfounded at the shocking news of possible favoritism inside this establishment, and who—since the beginning—claimed to treat everyone fairly whether in the good or bad way.

Isagi wondered if Ego is even aware of this and already readied a number of complaints to be—not that he will—filed against his unfair daily natto treatment. Bachira's words came off from deaf ears as he said something of sort praying for—a name, Isagi didn't catch—full recovery.

Coming back from memory lane, his eyes landed back at you. Standing in front of a bus stop, and from his guess before you weren't finding a ride instead your behavior appeared to be waiting for someone.

Your lips pressed. A jittered hand fixing your hair from time to time even though it looked fine the way it was a second ago. A paper bag tightly held between you fingers and palm, your nails digging in to exude the cold from this upcoming winter weather.

Whoever is making you wait, Isagi assured in his mind with no offense, is kind of a douche for leaving you waiting during a time of low temp.

But it might not be a big problem for you when you still have that adoring grin that even seemed to twinkle at the wait partnered with a soft blush. Isagi is not sure if it was from the cold or a person in your mind.

Reo hummed with keen interest with the bush people "It's hasty to assume a lover." He rubbed his chin in contemplation "What if it's a friend?"

Karasu gave an abrupt laugh "Oh please, you are the last person I'd ask input about lovers and friends."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Reo incredulously looked at the crouched boy with full unidentified offense, but a gentle pat on his back from Yukimiya stopped his troubles who only exchanged a smile.

Tokimitsu at his other side added nervously, "Y-you'll get it soon, I'm s-sure."

"What-"

Yukimiya intercepted, "I truly wonder what he's like."

"Someone of superb glam if they had captured the heart of our oh so reserved manager!" Aryu theatrically posed.

"Someone shy and quiet like them?" Isagi contributed.

Reo interjected in front of Isagi, "No, no! Same attributes don't go well. It's gotta be an opposites attract thing." Isagi drooped down at his rejected assumption. Guess his puzzle piece didn't fit right.

"Of course you're into the opposites attract shit." Karasu rolled his eyes in mock, then smirked.

"I don't know what you are trying to insinuate here, but if you keep that up I'll—"

"I heard from others back at Blue Lock that manager likes short guys. Take it with a grain of salt though." Yukimiya added to Reo's claim which the violet head huffed at the support.

Reo glanced complacent at Karasu who replied in an expression of disagreeance.

"Oooh, I do see them chatting with Kurona often." Bachira tapped a finger on his chin, but a smirk crossed his face, "But actually, I know full well of their height preference. Manager is a tall guy enjoyer!" The dual haired boy exclaimed proudly with his finger raised up in confidence.

Isagi jumped at the sudden raise of volume, he bended a bit near Bachira to whisper "Bachira! Tone it down, they'll hear us." He sighed at his usual energetic friend, "What makes you sure of that anyway?"

"Huh? I told you before Isagi! Manager likes—" a smooth hand interrupted Bachira.

"Well, I think he has good personality. I asked manager about it one time and they said, they admire a guy who's patient and understanding through the highs and lows in a relationship." Chigiri gave a lopsided smile with his answer backed up from the original source. Bachira mumbled against his palm to retaliate.

Tokimitsu slumped his shoulders at this, "How did you get that info out of them?"

This instance made everyone turn their heads toward Blue Lock's princess, his hand on his hip standing as proudly as he would feel kicking a skilled goal, "With the power of hair products."

Aryu stretched out his long skinny fingers, "So manager is interested in the opposites attract trope, has a preference for someone taller than them, prefers open-communication, and patience in a lover." He pushed his index finger on his opposite as he finished enumerating all their jumbled guesses into one, "Good taste, I say."

"Oops, you caught me guys. My bad." Otoya huffed out a smug, patting his chest with both hands as if he won something, "Sorry for not letting you guys know sooner. Bae, wanted to keep it on the down low—"

Otoya shrieked when an unexpected fist hit his head "And did I forget they also said they value loyalty!" Chigiri tsked.

As hushed commotion started to incur, Isagi heard a heightened squeak of wheels. He averted his eyes towards the bus stop and his body came to a stop catching their manager's eyes widened in anticipation. Their body straightened and their hold on the bag gripped harder. Their face blooming with longing and oh no this only meant...

"Sshhh! Quiet." Isagi whispered but loud enough for everyone to hear. "He's coming."

Hearing this, the ensemble of strikers scrambled back behind their cover. Swears and complaints muttered at each other, trying to squeeze in as much invisibility they can create. Emphasize on can.

The coverage proved to be pointless anyway, when everyone poked their heads a little to observe the awaited scene. Their hearts beated expectantly. Their breaths moved in and out readying theirselves. Just who is the man that had caught a captivating grasp around the reverent heart of their reliable and caring manager. What allure did he have for you to fall deep on the flowerbed of blossoming passion of pure gentle admiration that is too complex to explain with only those words they call—love.

With beated silence, the man in mystery had came out. They assume to be the man in mystery when he stepped out of the bus and your face turned bright and jumped slightly towards him. You carefully touched his arm and your lips moved to greet.

Isagi discerned the moment in front of him quickly, similar to how he would in a match. Black slacks. Matching black leather jacket which shined from the enveloping glow of the setting sun. The guy's posture showed strong resolve that towered the other passengers exiting the bus. Striped turtle neck of white and cyan that he concluded to be quite tacky if not for the jacket. As his gaze landed to identify his identity, his eyes opened widely like saucers.

Thick bottom lashes.

Teal eyes. The same color that would pierce his soul everytime.

Dark cyan hair.

That indifferent expression.

To what counts as a smile from him anyway. His lips was still in a thin line with only a few centimeters curved upwards. If you really paid close attention, and Isagi means close attention, it looks kinda like a smile.

In honor of Karasu, he provided the ice breaker "I'm seeing what I'm seeing right?" His confirmation only made Isagi's observation positive.

"You know. I'm actually not really surprised." Yukimiya still in kneeling position, had his arm on his chest and his other perched up by the elbow. His hand against his chin.

"They suit each other." He further said, while Rin slided a quick cheek rub then moved to push back strands of hair at the side of your head.

Otoya whistled, "Didn't know Mr. Top One had game in and out of the field."

Bachira pumped his fist in the air, "Hell yeah! See? I was right!" then inched beside Reo punching his bicep "Reo! Reo! You owe me five mil'!"

"I didn't bet you shit!"

"Aahh, my prochecy prevailed! They are absolutely the glam couple."

"I th-think they look great!"

"Hmm, not bad." Chigiri hummed your name seeming content with the reveal (Isagi corrects reveal to eavesdropping, but Chigiri only swatted him away). "However, seeing that smile unnerves me. I didn't think it'd be possible."

"This makes me feel that if our manager can make Rin smile like that. We can win World Cup." Isagi sighed with a smile of his own and Chigiri laughed as he nudged his shoulder to agree.

"Anything is possible, eh, isn't that right Nagi? Haha, wait—huh? Nagi!?" Chigiri shook his head baffled, a loud scream erupted from him at the sudden appearance causing another man crouching in front of him to trip on his hand as a bright flash dawned.

The bedhead lad grumbled in between words as he munched on some chips "Reo texted y'all were picking me up." He hung his head low as if standing was already taxing work, "It's been an hour. I got worried."

"Um, guys..." Otoya sweatdropped his phone in hand while looking dead straight in front of him.

All the boys changed their view back at the whole reason of why they were hiding behind dirty bushes and supposed discreet vending machines.

Their manager only sighed exasperatingly which funnily enough, sounded like a laugh. They patted Rin's arm to soothe the other. Unfortunately, it wasn't helping.

A cold, deep, dead stare returned at them. The embodiment of if looks can kill.

"Who took that?"

And if actions can kill then the stance Rin was giving obviously indicated that they should probably run now. (Hiding is definitely out of the options, Isagi accepted.)

A rush of wind breezed beside Isagi as Otoya leaped away first, phone clutched like it's pearls. "Ninja escape!"

"Otoya, you traitor!" Karasu screamed in betrayal, but hypocritically followed.

On instinct, Isagi grabbed a hold of Bachira and Chigiri. Determined to make a run for it. The latter two got the message, grinned, and started sprinting ahead.

"Congrats! Rin-chan!" Bachira yelled back with a wave.

"Goodness." Yukimiya could only exhale at the expected as he ran after.

Aryu jumped twirling and finger guns at the two while slowly anchoring his speed, leaving not before saying "Glam, glam!"

Tokimitsu already screeched ten steps in front of him.

As a newcomer, Nagi was about to comment to Rin and their manager when his weight shifted quickly. His steps began to walk. Reo holding him tight.

"Nagi, let's go! We can't lose to them!" Reo started to sprint pointing at their other friends way far ahead.

This unexpected hold as familiar as it can be, he never thought he'd experience it again after everything. "Okay. I'll follow you, Reo." Nagi ran.

A ping ringed in your phone. Your eyes opened out of dreamland as the sound erupted you from your thoughts.

You opened the popped out message, a glint forming in your eyes. Clicking the surface you read,

You body trembled from the current cold of winter breeze as if confirming, nonetheless you closed your body for warmth in order to type.

—Yeah, I'm waiting

A notification sound rose up.

—Sorry, house got busy.

You were about to type out another reply when,

Your movements paused for a second. At the mention of his brother, you didn't know what to say that might not trigger him. You instead thought to change the course.

You directed your eyes to the side. Only your peripheral vision needed to see what you thought before was the cold getting to you. You sillily reminded yourself that bushes can't move on its own and vending machines don't grow heads. You grinned and chuckled.

—I think our soccer team is stalking me.

A minute passed after you sent it. You were expecting a reaction, so you shrugged it off thinking he turned off his phone for the meantime. A buzzed vibrated on your fingers.

sweet boy will do it with a smile. is not the tidiest but you can now eat your orange while sharing with him. has a vibe that he is sort of used to doing this somehow. a total win still. if you do the same for him he will get flustered. also asking this is one of the quickest ways to get mr. egoist switches to mr. sweetheart boyfriend.

“Eh, why are peeling one too? I already… for me…?…I, uh—I see. Thanks… I—I am… give me a second.”

kaiser

you are the one who will peel for him—unless you throw a fuss and give him a silent treatment because this guy's pride is no joke. he can, he just doesn't want to. but to appease you and gain back his rightful spoiling, he will. afterward, at least, he learns his lesson and when you are about to peel one yourself, will take it and peel it beautifully for you like a second nature.

“…the fuck are you staring at? Just take it. You are about to eat it anyway, right? Then what's the big deal?”

bachira

yes, he will no question asked but is it worth it. probably will make a mess out of his energy. you will be laughing along with him somehow though so it is worth it. having the sunshine doing anything in front of you is a guaranteed smile-inducing routine. as for the orange, please do switch to other alternatives, for example: kisses, as suggested by him.

“Isn't this better than orange? Huum, huum! More healthy, sweeter too, right? Another one?”

chigiri

depending on his mood, you will either get a very cute orange peel or a half-peeled orange (at best) you have to finish peeling yourself. on the former, you get a smug bf who will feed you like it's a pocky stick. on the latter, you better be the one feeding him while hugging and cuddling him. multitask somehow. also, give him kisses because he is called a ‘princess’ for a reason.

“Ah, being in your arms being fed like this… yeah, yeah. I know don't worry. I will repay the favor.”

nagi

realistically, you will be the one peeling it for him and forcing him to eat one. because why would he even touch one? he is too lazy for that, nothing personal. but, let's say he really, really loves you: he still won't, he will just give you orange-flavored jelly in replacement. it does come from a place of love though, he genuinely thinks it's less troublesome to eat and, hence: better.

“Eating that is troublesome. It taste the same too. We can also do it while kissing. Mouth to mouth. Better right?”

reo

normally, will get a servant to peel it for you and him. though: can he do it? will he do it if it must be him? no question asked, absolutely will, all while chatting and staring at you with so much love. totally mr. k-drama male lead. you and your premium orange are in good hands.

“Oh, man, you are sometimes really …huh? Nah, I mean, I like doing this. It's just now I feel like I have to do this every time, so… yeah.”

the first time, he will click his tongue and mess up. he will crush the orange. better never speak of it again, just know he loves you wholly despite everything. then a week passes and suddenly you will get a professional competitive orange peeler part-timer. without asking. just eat your orange. unless you are sick of it or it makes you actually sick.

“Did the orange taste good? … good. Nothing. You just look… nevermind. Do you want another one?”

sae

will he or will you. realistically, no? there are two possible reasons: 1) he can't. his whole stat is in soccer. 2) “you can't?” aka is it worth it getting judged by him. in case #2 though, just act cute and aim for his soft spot for you, he will fold and peel it with you pressed to his arm. he will grumble or glare but that's just itoshi-esque tsundere.

“You can't do something like this yourself? This will be the only time I’m doing this… Also who told you to move away?”

barou

our king. will peel the skin and the white fiber for you. tidy peels and if you know your way around his heart—you do just smile or blink and he is gone—he will also feed you. 10/10 execution no notes. probably will do this in kotatsu, dinner tables, and other domestic settings that are not bed while being a tsundere.

“I’m doing this just so you don't make a mess, got it? Also, scoot closer, your leg is kicking me—what do you mean I’m lying?!”

kunigami will, both before and after wc because you are his world. the difference would be in his expression only and there is that because his love for you would never change. shidou will but genuinely, please just peel it yourself. aiku will, not without teasing you though. gagamaru will either will or teach you how to eat the skin too. zantetsu wants to do it, but it will be really messy so please just don't. hiori will do it like a sweet boy, but if he is in his sadistic mood he will tease you for a bit before finally feeding you.

No Way He Pulled That Pt.6

The NEL crew was fried.

Mentally, physically, spiritually. Ego had finally granted them a rare weekend off—a beach day. Sun, sand, overpriced popsicles and volleyball nets that none of them knew how to use properly. Naturally, everyone was there: Rin glaring at sunscreen bottles, Isagi already competitive over who could tan fastest, Kaiser refusing to remove his designer slides. Even Shidou, who came solely to cause chaos.

But Hiori?

He sat calmly on a shaded lounge chair, hoodie on, sipping lemon water like a quiet grandpa in a sea of frat boys.

"Bro," Reo mumbled, eyeing him from the towel next to Nagi. "Hiori’s been looking at his phone every five minutes. Think he’s waiting for his mom or something?"

Kaiser snorted. "Nah, he swears he has a girlfriend"

Cue collective silence.

"You mean that imaginary fairy tale girlfriend he’s been going on about for weeks?" Bachira blinked. "The one who’s ‘too good for social media’ and ‘prefers tea over Red Bull’?"

"The one who sends him lunch notes?" Rin deadpanned.

Barou scoffed. "Ain’t no way"

Everyone turned to glance at Hiori, who was still cool and composed—maybe too composed. Suspicious.

"Guys, let’s just follow him next time" Isagi suggested.

But just as Reo was about to pitch a bet, Bachira sat up like he’d been struck by lightning. "WAIT"

He pointed out towards the volleyball net set near the shore, and every single head turned like a pack of seagulls spotting fries.

And there you were.

Shorts hugging your curves, bikini top tied in neat bows, that confident strut like you belonged on the cover of some summer fashion magazine. Skin kissed golden by the sun, hair shimmering as you laughed—full-bodied, head-thrown-back laughter. You reached for the volleyball, fingers graceful, and when you spiked it a little too hard and chased after it toward the crowd—

Hiori looked up and smiled.

"Babe!"

Everyone. Froze.

Babe!?

You jogged up to him, breathless, sweat-kissed and dazzling. You handed him the stray ball and grinned. "Miss me?"

He stood up. Hoodie forgotten. Hoodie discarded. His hands slipped easily around your waist, lips brushing your cheek as you giggled and said something no one could hear.

Shidou literally choked on his own tongue. "YOU’RE TELLING ME—HE—HIM?!"

"There’s no way!" Reo hissed.

Isagi looked like he was having a personal crisis. "She—smiled at him. With teeth"

"She kissed him" Rin muttered, sounding betrayed by the universe.

Barou glared at the sky. "I hate everything"

Kaiser, who was usually smug about this sort of thing, just whispered, "What the actual f—"

And Hiori? He calmly placed an arm around your shoulder, guided you toward the group, and said with the softest, most passive smile:

"Everyone, this is my girlfriend"

You waved cheerily. "Hi!"

They waved back in stunned, religious silence. Someone muttered something about this being a simulation. Nagi blinked twice and whispered, "She’s glowing... like, literally"

You turned to Hiori with a bright smile, "Wanna go swim?"

And when he nodded, you tugged him toward the water, fingers interlaced, leaving a gaggle of emotionally damaged boys in the sand, all simultaneously rethinking every interaction they'd had with him.

"No way he pulled that" Bachira finally said, awe-struck.

Rin just sat down. "I give up"

Bachira may not like Lavinho trying to get with their manager, but which of the Blue Lock boys might actually try to get their manager with their coach? Do they support their coach or is it more like, “I don’t exactly like that our coach like our manager, but I would rather it be our coach than a different one.” And of course Anri is trying to get manager-chan with Ego, so his mood is better lol

I will just make a list of a few of them about this instead of a scenario if that's fine!

IS SUPPORTIVE/THE WINGMEN FOR THEIR MASTER COACHES:

ISAGI - Gets a little too competitive about this. Since he is a huge Noel Noa glazer, he is, of course, supportive of him and wants him to win your heart. Would ask for you to come to their stratum for advice just so that you and Noa can interact with each other. He may have been pissed with what he found out in the PXG match about Noa's intentions, but he knows that his master is trusted when it comes to other matters, so he is more than okay if you two do end up together. Lowkey, just want to make you happy, and if it means having a boyfriend who would cherish and love you. Sweet boy thinks that growing old alone is so sad and he doesn't want that to happen to you, so he is all in.

OLIVER - Listen. He loves the drama. He likes seeing Snuffy inwardly pissed off when he sees any of the master's come to you in the days of the matches or in the live cameras. Will spur Snuffy too to make him as jealous as possible by recounting to him moments between you and said other master's. Did Lavinho compliment you that day? Whispers to Snuffy about it. Did Noel Noa call for you in his office and you were there for quite a bit? Head straight for Snuffy. Thinks he is slick with women so he tries to give him advice. He also doesn't mind his coach possibly being with you since he is one if not the most responsible and emotionally available man of the four, so he wants his coach to win.

OTOYA - Loves the drama pt. 2. He is fine with Lavinho being with you, mainly because he can see how down bad his coach is and he feels a bit of pity. Thinks he is slick with women so he tries to give him advice pt. 2 (even though Lavinho doesnt really need it). He is also a gossiper when it comes to this, talking with Chigiri and Oliver for the newest gossip about the so-called reverse harem.

SPECIAL MENTIONS:

• ANRI (ships you and Ego)

• LOKI (because he just wants you to pick one of either the coaches or the World 5 because all of them always contact him for any news about you, because you treat him like you treat the Blue Lockers, and he is so damn tired.)

DON'T REALLY CARE/DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK OF THE SITUATION:

BAROU - He legit couldn't care less. Your and his coach's love life is personal so why would he intrude? Well, as long as Snuffy or any of the masters don't make you cry, he's fine. He has sisters, so he's definitely protective of women as a whole, it doesn't help at all that he views you as some sort of elder sister he made in the facility, and so I bet you, he'd be the first one to beat up any of the masters, especially the one you may choose, if they ever break your heart.

CHIGIRI - Same as Barou, although he's a little bit more on the gossipy side. Listen, he's one of Blue Lock's gossip girl, convince me not. He does it with sass too. Prone to sassing Prince when it comes to him talking about you. It's nothing harmful just a bit of spazz like: "I don't think Y/n-san likes men that are this or that," whenever Chris Prince is doing or saying something questionable which will, of course, stop the master striker from doing anything. But, overall, he doesn't really care, finds it amusing, yes, but he doesn't go out of his way to spite or support any of the coaches, he's just the 3rd party watcher and listener.

NAGI - When does this boy ever care about anything? Like legit. But, of course, he does care for you one way or another, so he tries to be there for you when you are a little confused as to why the coaches were starting to act weirder and weirder around you. But, he gives like...bad advices. Like really bad, which fits his personality. He tries, okay? He's just not emotionally gifted, so forgive this cutie patootie. He's also very oblivious, like you are. I mean, you two probably share the same braincell when it comes to the matters of the heart. But, if he does find out the real reason, then he still won't care. Your life is your life anyways.

KURONA AND YUKIMIYA - They mostly just watch and react, yet theg don't actively seek information/gossip about you and the masters. Sure, they feel quite amused at what they see or even hear, but they don't have any deep care about this. Doesn't mean they don't care about you, but they just believe your life is your life and you can do whatever you want, especially since you're an adult already, and a trusted one at that. But, they won't reject any gossips they may hear or shared to them, nope.

BACHIRA - Numero uno hater of Lavinho along with the other masters and even the World 5. Nope. He heard SOOO many celebrity gossips about how men who have fame are infamous for being quite the playboy, even heard some said gossips on the coaches and the world 5 themselves. He read it all, Adam Blake and his ever-changing girlfriend every 2 weeks? Nope. That old ass article about Marc Snuffy's previous life in his prime? Skip, once a playboy always a playboy. Lavinho, who he sees everyday and see how he is quite the lady's man? HELL NO! He'll only hurt your feelings. Bachira is a mama's boy, so he's quite protective over women as a whole, but especially those he consider important to him. And you were the maternal figure that stepped in for all of them ever since Blue Lock started and he doesn't have his mom, so of course, he cares for you and doesn't want you to get hurt.

RIN - Listen, his master is innocent and not involved, yes. But does that lessen his dislike of those lukewarm men who hits on you when they are literally around? Hell no. Whenever a match is between the other team and you watched personally (you always do), they get too close and touchy-feely with you and he hates it. Who the hell wants to die? See, even if he tries to make it out that he hates his brother fully and unconditionally, deep down, in the roots of that hatred is a broken-hearted Rin, who felt so betrayed about Sae changing and misses having an older brother to be with. But, you somehow started to heal that hole, being the elder sibling that he needed in this insanity of a facility. So, you bet he's ready to ward off those men who don't deserve you.

REO - He hates it. He has been around famous celebrities and rich businessmen all his life. He knows how they can really be behind closed doors when it came to their romantic relationships. Short to say, it's not good. And he doesn't want anything to happen to you. Always gets in the way of the coaches, especially Prince when he tries to talk to you. He's quite brainy and slick with it too, using his smarts to give the most believable excuses for you to leave the conversation with any of the men, and he would be giving thay mischievous smirk everytime it works. Due to this, the coaches hate this chameleon menace. How is he so good at lying and hiding his true intentions? He's truly a damn chameleon.

HIORI - He's not as pronounced about his dislike like the others. But if he was asked, then he would immediately say no. He trusts you, wishes you were his guardian except of his own parents because he can see that you love and care for him, not just because of what he can do. He doesn't trust others easily now due to this, and well, that applies to those men who are after you. He doesn't want the only person he has such a deep connection with to be heartbroken and betrayed, just like how he found out he was just being used by his parents. He knows youre the adult here and that you can handle yourself, but even if youre the adult and he's the minor, he is still so scared for you and doesn't want you hurt just because of a stupid man:(

Isagi Yoichi

-> Isagi will definitely be that one person on the beach who makes this huge sandcastle. He'll literally scour the beach for a whole hour to gather materials and come up with ways how to exactly make it as sturdy as possible.

-> When he's done, Isagi will tug your arm and proudly show you the construction, a childlike smile on his face.

-> Isagi also likes to swim or go snorkeling, exploring the wildlife in the ocean.

-> Getting ice cream with Isagi is definitely a must, considering the sweet tooth he has. But as the average human, he'll probably choose like vanilla or chocolate ice cream.

Bachira Meguru

-> This man cannot act normal on the beach.

-> Bachira will most certainly try to scare little kids by wearing a shark costume and chasing them in the water, all while gleefully laughing his ass off.

-> Bachira is also the kind of person who will collect things on the beach. But not the normal shells. No, he'll come back with a bucket filled with crabs or cuttlefish bones, dumping the contents on your blanket with a proud smile.

-> Bachira is the kind of person who would get this huge ice cream. He'll definitely choose to get at least five scoops, and all of them being wildly varied in flavour. Like peppermint with lobster ice cream coupled with pistachio. And he'll like it.

Itoshi Sae

-> He naps on the beach.

-> Sae wouldn't even bother bringing a swimsuit, he'll just beeline straight for the blanket laid out on the sand, put his sunglasses on and promptly fall asleep. He isn't really one for beach activities, and also because football is the only thing he really excels at, so doing something else is ruled out.

-> If Sae gets an ice cream, he'll probably won't even bother with a cone, just a small cup with raspberry and mint chocolate chip flavoured scoops.

Itoshi Rin

-> He does not like the beach.

-> The sand makes Rin's skin crawl, the joy on the kids faces makes his crunch in revolt, and the taste of salt in the air will be the death cause number one for him.

-> Rin will just sit on the blanket, scowl fixed on his face, looking like he wants to be anywhere else.

-> Rin will probably read or go on his phone, but if its really peaceful and not too crowded, maybe he'll try his hand at yoga.

-> If he gets ice cream, because he doesn't like the sticky sensation in his mouth, he'll probably get, similar to Sae, just a cup with two scoops like vanilla and butter pecan.

Reo Mikage

-> Reo is good at everything, naturally, he'll also dominate every sport played on the beach, too. Swimming? He's already swum at least five kilometres. Beach volleyball? He's the renounced champion on the beach. Kite flying? You'll see his dragon themed kite soaring high above all the others.

-> The sky's blue, the air consists of 21% oxygen, and Reo is loaded. So why not spend money on good equipment? Ba-ya will literally lug a whole ass tent, a wind shield, and all sorts of inflatables with, all to properly cater to Reo's needs. It's safe to say that you can never forget anything with Reo.

-> The ice cream flavours Reo will get will probably be black raspberry and butter scotch. In any case, Reo will get something that tastes rich.

Nagi Seishirou

-> Going to the beach is a bit of a hassle for Nagi. Bringing sun lotion, setting up your blankets, and getting sand between your toes, are not things Nagi finds enjoyable in the very least.

-> But it's also the optimal place for Nagi to nap and play video games while being nicely warmed up by the sun, without being nagged to get moving. So that's a pluspoint for him.

-> If Nagi gets in the water, he'll prefer to stay dry, so he'll probably lie on an inflatable, floating on the water, closing his eyes and not even noticing he's drifting off.

-> Nagi wouldn't really like ice cream because it melts fast and it's sticky when it gets on your clothes or fingers, so he'll either get a cup with vanilla flavoured ice cream, or just a nice milkshake.

“he was super analytical and almost figured out the killers but his classmates got scared”

figures the killer out pretty quickly, but he feels bad about it and so pushes the thought away

survives (ofc he’s the main character) but with a few injuries

the talk of the town afterwards

major supporting character

fan favorite. no one hates him

also a loner at school because he's schizophrenic. was NOT scared of the killer so a lot of people suspected him

honestly just there for the vibes and comedy relief

surprisingly useful and practical during the final chase

closed a bunch of doors on the killer and stuff

suddenly started talking to his monster in the middle of the final chase and scared the killers

came out with a couple of injuries but was mostly fine

the first one to die

the one at the very beginning of the movie to showcase the first murder

rejected someone or offended someone extremely badly and ended up getting killed for it

definitely at home and just finished blow drying his hair before a call came

thought it was spam and didn't answer until it kept on calling and he got annoyed

lowkey just talked to them about hair care before realizing that his door was suddenly unlocked

turns around and sees a creepy ass mask

suddenly he's dead

a high schooler who was extremely popular but also heavily disliked. but he haunts the narrative

jock and brawny high schooler who's actually really popular but also really nice

he used the little part time job money that he saved up to send his family to a safe place first

helped with the case SO MUCH

literally fought the killer on one ocassion and survived and brought back so much information

honestly everyone loved him because he was always protecting people

called his family and told them that he was fine and not injured at all and that he would be coming to get them back soon as soon as the town was safe again

died in the hospital when he was visiting another victim of the killings and protecting the patients

but he managed to bring down one of the killers with him as well

HAUNTS the narrative after his death. everyone single scene afterwards was meant for him

𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐞𝐢

gets the fuck out of there. at least, he wants to

he's already packed his and his entire family's bags

he's a freshly out of high school college student. no way in hell is he dealing with this shit

but because he was sort of friends with isagi back when he was still in high school, he got dragged into this investigation

literally just wants this to be over already; he just wants to leave safely with his family

honestly got in so many close calls but always ended up alive

keeps on getting injured; was the guy that kunigami was visiting

someone survives till the final chase and does stuff during it despite his injuries

survives until the end, but with major injuries

𝐦𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐨

literally just packed his bags and left

well, his dad did, but reo was perfectly fine with that decision

moved to another whole ass prefectures; went from tokyo to miyagi

still sends the others money all the time

donates to the police and detectives often

constantly checking the news to make sure that the others are okay

otherwise he's just minding his own business

literally brought nagi with him out of concern

moves back home the moment the killers are caught

𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐢 𝐬𝐞𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐨

literally was brought along with reo

just played games the entire movie. did not give a fuck

was sort of worried for the others though. called them every once in a while

didn't really do much the entire movie

yeah he moved back as well

definitely acted nonchalant and had a whole "i don't care" attitude

but canonically speaking, he loves horror movies

so internally he was literally so convinced that he was surviving this shit easily

didn't want to get involved but did so anyways

tried to be smart (act smart) but he always just ended up using his movie knowledge

got into a fight with the killer and came out alive but tried to act so nonchalant but everyone saw his hands shaking for the rest of the week

pretty useful the entire time; didn't waste a moment

came out alive, though harmed

Weirdly specific headcanons about the bluelock boys and your scrunchie ~

Bachira, Rin, Nagi, Isagi, and Kaiser (+ shidou cameo >:3) - aged up - a sprinkle of suggestive (rin + shidou), and a pinch of ouchie (kaiser) ♡ - you're at the pre-relationship, kinda crushy friendship stage.

Bachira - he gets super excited, what doesn't get this lil goobie hyped? He gets his hands on it probably when you did skin care or face masks together and left it in his stuff or something, and just he decides to put it on his wrist himself.

He totally wants matching ones, patterned ones, get him or you a dolphin one and he will cling to you for approximately 5hours and 43minutes (he told me). Actually uses it to put his hair bangs up for when he washes his face til you get him a headband like your one.

When you ask for it to use, he won't let you take it but just naturally go behind you and tie your hair himself. He's good at it ♡ I love him

Rin - he'll blink and subtly cock an eyebrow at you when you ask him and hold it out. He won't say much, but in his head a part of him did go... 'but I'm a boy o.O'.

He will take it and wear it, though, you probably having to put it on his wrist, fidgeting with it because he's not used to feeling of it there at first. If you catch him fidgeting with it, and you ask him if it's bothering him or he wants you to have it back, he refuses to give it back. (Lil shit ♡)

He starts to like it, running his fingers over the fabric a little absentmindedly sometimes. If one of the boys asks about it he goes a bit pink and grumpy, probably bluntly and briefly describing their violent downfall by his hand !! Puts it safely in bag when playing so he doesn't lose or sweat on it, and it's the first thing he picks up and puts back on after his water bottle (stay hydrated Rin cutie ♡)

It makes him feel all warm and fuzzy when you take it off him to use, and his cheeks did noT GO PINK HE'LL KILL Y-

He also keeps it around the wide portion of his hand when he jerks off thinking about you 😌 nodders, yes yes ( I read his diary )

Nagi - does not register. This boy is the 404 not found page in real life ♡ I aspire to be this nonchalant. Only once it's on he's like... Oh, Okay. Sure. And be only registers potential meanings and 'claiming' sort of implications of it when someone points it out to tease him, hopefully for your sake not in front of Reo or he'll kick your ass.

Then he's a bit blushy and awkward, but mostly a touch confused. He keeps trying to work out whether that is what you meant by it, or whether it was just the boys being stupid. So he's a bit quiet when around you later, like he has something on his mind, which is unusual, to which he's then like:

And when you apologise or go to take it back he's like -_- no. It's mine now and if anything happens to it I will kill everyone in this room and then lie down on my bed on my phone :) (nagoat, am I right)

Isagi - goes red. Instantly. Turns around, hand to neck, laughing breathlessly.

He also finds himself zoning out a bit while looking at it and fiddling, a distant kinda look passing over his eyes before someone snaps him out of it.

The whole thing makes him jolt a bit like... why am I being passively helpful? What even is this anyway. Am bad guy, remember? But, at the same time, he doesn't want to take it off and give it back either. Having it makes him feel a bit funny inside, it's like...an easy way to feel nice, exchanging a positive interaction, without direct contact, or pleasantries.

Finds himself washing his face and then pausing...eyes flicking to it, and then uses it to tie his hair from his face. Smirks when you come to him and ask him for it, his lil heart swelling a bit behind the snark 'mmh, at your service, anything else?~'. Though he does notice it's absence when he goes to fiddle and there's nothing on his wrist.
