when people refer to canon story-relevant kingdom hearts games as ‘spinoffs’ it makes me sad not only for the obvious reasons i always say but also bc like man i WISH this series had spinoffs. imagine what they could do if they had permission from nomura to truly go off the rails and ignore the greater canon for a second and just do some fun whimsical plotless thing in an alternate universe. imagine a fishing/boating game on destiny islands. kh fighting game. it is an injustice that we have been deprived of kingdom karts. can anyone hear me

My Erasermight Artfight Art 3/5 Prompt: Sex Pollen All Might is hit with a drug that sends him into an intensified rut, robbing him of his mental faculties in the process. The other heroes who’d joined him for this mission ran off immediately. None of them could stop All Might. Not when he’s in this state. Eraserhead, however, knew that if no one steps in, innocent civilians would end up getting hurt. He couldn’t allow that, and he knew that All Might would have never been able to forgive himself. Aizawa was not beating the guy, that was obvious, but he decided that he doesn’t have to.

#that other post i made that was like tnp if clementine had a gun #rewriting them has been fun mainly bc a lot of their personality has gone back to the way they were originally #when i started writing them before they turned out a lot more.. friendly? & meeker than i intended #and they are still friendly but i think it's more obvious that it's a mask in some scenes now #adding the toll scene back in and giving them a chance to have leverage over the hunter with the stolen money has really #made the whole deal with them feel more planned & intentional on their part (which it always was)#clementine is Plotting #i also think people will more easily recognize that the deal with them has Consequences now lmao #i really enjoy writing them but i do think finding the balance with them is the hardest #trying not to come across as too obvious but also i don't want it to feel like it's completely out of character either #anyways. teehee

#ninjago #ninjago dragons rising #levi's ted talks #one of DR's points is how it's a long game #it's what makes the show so interesting and fun to think about #it's not a question w/ an answer in the same season kind of deal the original franchise had– it gives questions to-#-both the characters *and* the audience. and not in a 'plot hole' way #there's so many questions that are yet to be discovered as the show goes on which leaves so much time for so many theories-#-to be made #and it just makes the show even funner to watch! like that person said– that's what helps to build interest *and* anticipation too #it's a reason why even during the skips between the release of seasons/parts the fandom still had so many questions and theories #and even alot of them were answered later on #and it leaves hope for the unanswered ones because DR is a long game with a secure end to the story

tbh one thing about me is that i just love things that are a little bit "bad". music, movies, tv shows... i don't know what this says about me. don't get me wrong i still hate a good concept executed badly, like, some of my most behated tv shows are the ones which started off great and then fully fumbled their potential, but i can really get into things that are like "okay so this is a little bit silly but hear me out". i think i'm just so willing to look past flaws as long as it's really obvious that the cheesy aspect is intentionally being leaned into, and in tv/movies i need to get the sense that the realism or "good"ness is being sacrificed for a reason, either as intentional worldbuilding or to make the story more compelling in other ways. many people hate me for this

#like. i love intentionally good romcoms. when harry met sally is such a good movie i love it so much #i also love intentionally bonkers romcoms. the knight before xmas where vanessa hudgens hits a time traveling medieval knight with her car #is objectively a movie with a deranged plot but because of that aspect specifically i'm obsessed with it. it's so silly and SO fun #and right in the midle is the average hallmark romcom which is unconcerned with being original or well thought out #but then does not take advantage of that to make it compelling in other ways #also. hot frosty which does have an insane premise (sexy snowman comes to life and falls in love w gretchen wieners)#but then fails to do anything genuinely interesting with it by not leaning into the inherent silliness of that concept #and also just having a weakly structured plot in general with uncompelling characters. it does nothing for me #i guess the word is camp. i'm looking for campness. but that word is so overused i'm scared to use it now #and also i feel like that implies i'm really thinking about this. i'm REALLY not i'm just having fun #sorry to all my tumblr mutuals with sophisticated taste.... i need my flop shows with 1000000 plot holes to live #personal

Just finished Arkham City and god that game is absolutely fantastic I’m thriving

#the characterization is INCREDIBLE #my fav outfit is Talia’s bc you can pinpoint EXACTLY the beauty standard era of the late 2000s they were going for #the plot is fun the gameplay is super fun #i played the game to get used to controller bc a wonderful friend of mine gifted me their old ps4 #I’m not the greatest. I need to work on button mashing #but I’ve gotten the hang of it I think!#man I’m so enthused man #I’ll do Arkham Origins and then I might come back and find all the riddler trophies for gits and shiggles

expanding on that Lady Maria vibe for Descole from the first Laytonborne post, and that famous boss intro.

Descole would make a hellish boss fight, i know it. i mean have you SEEN how he moved during Eternal Diva and with that big ass sword? now imagine that with Soulsborne-scale strength and possible other additional powers.

plus his theme could be pretty easily adapted into a Bloodborne boss style piece I think, just add more orchestra heavy brass and cellos and some ominous Latin chanting choir and presto. that organ goes so hard too.

You describing it as it turning more into a "cured au" makes me even more excited BC??? In all of the other aus (that I've seen) a cure for whatever virus was afflicting Equestria hasn't really been discussed, much less discovered! Very cool

Also having Discord be "The Cure" makes so much sense. He is the god of chaos, of course he can bend the rules when it comes to the apocalypse!!

Very excited to see what's next :)

I think at this point everyone has done some variation of a zombie/disease/disaster for the infection au, so I’m just wanting to get ahead of the curve and do something different with the ‘end/cure’ of an infection au being the starting point for a different kind of horror. We’ll see how far I get into it
