Anybody got tips on how to get over yourself re: when things get popular/are popular I immediately do not like them and do not enjoy being anywhere near these things. And I want to stop this and enjoy life more.

For instance I've joined a local book club to socialize and read more and we're reading a "dark romantasy" book and while everyone else is loving it I can barely get through a chapter because I want to turn my nose up at it. All I want to do is tear it down and be like "here's everything wrong with it".

Please tell me how to turn this off. I want to have more fun in my life. I want to enjoy things 😭

1. they told Charles to slow down instead of telling Carlos to go faster

2. from what I could tell, they didn't make it clear to him that they were gonna sacrifice him

3. they literally fucked him over in the pit

4. they straight up ignored his suggestions/strategies

(and also, maybe it's just me, but I thought they should've started him with M, cuz I don't think there was much point in starting him with S only to throw his advantage in the trash with that atrocious pitstop 💀 and in general, I get that it was strategic to change him to H so that he wouldn't need to pit again, but maaaan I don't think the H was really working for him :/ )

full disclaimer tho, I haven't been into f1 for long, so the last part may be just something I'm being dumb about, but still 🤷‍♀️
