In celebration for her fourth birthday here's Maggie fun facts uhhhhhhhhhh

She's an AU of an AU of my scrapped warrior cats sona turned original character. Magpieheart, the ShadowClan deputy who can see ghosts -> Human Magpieheart AU where she can see ghosts still -> I have a cool dream about being murdered and waking up in a future where I kept living -> Maggie, totally original OC who can see ghosts. Magpieheart lives on as one of the stray cats that lives around Maggie's apartment and is attracted by her weird soul, her name is Marge (Named by Jenna, said in a Simpsons voice, Any Simpson), hes also a male cat but none of them know how to tell neutered males apart from females so they all refer to him as a female cat. Oops. This is also the cat Maggie gives to her parents after the plot concludes as a "Sorry I got murdered" gift

Warriorsona Magpieheart, ShadowClan deputy who can see ghosts and is besties with the med cat Maplehawk -> Human AU where Magpieheart and her girlfriend, fellow ShadowClan warrior Tinyleaf, are just normal human teenagers and Magpieheart can still see ghosts -> Incredibly vivid dream where I got murdered in my childhood home, only to wake up in a future where I kept living, and was led around by someone I didn't know to show me the life I led while I was dead -> Oh my GOD I need OCs for this right now. Extremely interesting concept to me and I need OCs for it -> Hey remember that old Magpieheart AU I had that I did nothing with. Retooling them for this concept. Maplehawk also makes the cut but now he's related to Magpieheart -> Maggie exists now

OC ramblin' time

Since I drew her, I've really been thinking about Magpieheart.

Magpieheart is my sona as well as the main character of her plot, she's the ShadowClan Deputy, and, similar to Tree, can see spirits in the living world.

However, she dies before taking the role of ShadowClan's leader (Plumstar lives for QUITE a long time after Magpie's death). Her death has two major effects. These are the naming of Magpiekit and then Tinyleaf becoming a Medicine Cat.

Magpiekit is significant because she's one of the kits from Chesnutfoot and Yellowfern's litter. To give more context, Chesnutfoot, one of Magpieheart's closest friends, had been in love with the she-cat Sootsnow, who ended up dying while in labor, but thanks to Magpieheart, was able to still speak to her kits, having Magpieheart act as a foster mother of sorts. So thanks to her help, Chesnutfoot is able to move on, and not only fall in love again, this time with Yellowfern, but have the strength to raise another litter.

Of course, Magpieheart dies shortly before Yellowfern gives birth (Maybe half a moon before), so in honor and in thanks, Chesnutfoot names the kit that most looks like her (A dilute torti, since their other two kits were shades of brown) Magpiekit.

Magpiekit later ends as Magpielight (-light is basically the equivalent of saying the cat has the soul of who they were named after, it's rare to see a cat not named in tribute of someone else have -light. -light doesn't imply reincarnation), and Magpielight follows in the footsteps of MagpieHEART, and becomes deputy of ShadowClan. She, however, doesn't die before Plumstar, and ends up as Magpiestar

The second important event is Tinyleaf becoming a Medicine Cat. Maplehawk died about 4 moons before Magpieheart (Maplehawk was starting to get old, and ended up dying of greencough), so the only Medicine Cat at Magpieheart's death was Squirrelshade. So, happy to have an apprentice, Squirrelshade accepts Tinyleaf's request.

Tinyleaf choses to become a Medicine Cat for 3 reasons. Magpieheart's death was in battle, she was shoved off of a large cliff and impaled at the bottom, so Tinyleaf doesn't want to go back to the situation that killed her mate. Second, Magpieheart had always been close with the Medicine Cats, and Tinyleaf decides she'll honor her by joining them, and third, she knows she'll get to see Magpieheart at least once per moon.

It works out, and Tinyleaf DOES get to see her at least once a moon, although Magpie usually appears more than that. Squirrelshade's aware that Tinyleaf has a mate, but let's it go because she doesn't have a LIVING mate (And also at this point Squirrelshade is still mourning the capture of HER forbidden mate, the ThunderClan Medicine Cat, Hollyflower, who was captured by Twolegs. Squirrelshade considers it to be punishment from StarClan that they were together, and never breaks the code like that again)

Anyways, that's a quick rundown on how Magpieheart's death impacted ShadowClan
