Hey! Completely random, but--if you were to like have a specific symbol for each of the survivor gang (like a small tattoo idea??), what would they be?

Like, I remember one drawing you did where Fuyu was getting a cross hair for Hajime; I just want to know if you had any other ideas or thoughts about it!

I liked the idea of them all having a red circle for pressing the button at the end of the game, for one. But individualized...

Fuyuhiko: already hc him as getting tats for important people in his life (including the survivors), so the Peko-Natsumi-Hajime ones don't count. But if he got one of his own...obvious idea is the Kuzuryū dragon somewhere, in general I like the back of the neck for any specific tattoo for him. Or maybe a little incision line on his stomach to remind him what he did lol

Kazuichi: someone else mentioned tattoos of his blueprints (like the rocket), I think that's a super cool idea. The BPs of something like his rocket, or a mono-bot, or the pods (was that him?) or his air purifiers (i think that would be his best/most important invention, reversing some of the damage he did). Something that size would need to be on the back or sides, or maybe thigh. I kinda like the rib area for him? I feel like he actually wouldn't get many tattoos, now that he doesn't need to prove himself via his looks.

Sonia: I don't think she'd get a cute little crown in the main timeline, she might in a more kind, modern AU tho. I think she might get her country's crest or the outline of the land itself somewhere, specifically comething to represent the country and not her status. She loves her pepole, not her position. Either like the shoulderblade or right on the solar plexus (crest). Sonia wouldn't stop at one, though, and I can see her having a whole sleeve based off some dark media.

Akane: as always, she's a tough one! My first thought is she'd totally have the equivalent of (very common here) zodiac lineup of her family, like up her arm maybe. Idt that's a thing everywhere, though. HMMMMM. I think she might get like... a surprisingly poignant single word or phrase, on the inside of her upper arm maybe. Something motivating to herself that no one else needs to understand, in a place she can easily see. And people would be like "omg does it mean this and that and this" and she's like oh nah it's just something a friend said to me. And does not elaborate. But idt she'd be too into tattoos in general, she's not really appearance-conscious in that way.

Hajime: I don't think Hajime would get a tattoo because he can't stand the process. In a different universe where he did, I think he'd get something for Chiaki, like that spaceship hairpin or a small string of code. Besides that, in a world where everything happened as it did, a stop-crosshair combo. Maybe also at the back of the neck? Beyond all that.....and now I speak selfishly and not with regard to character..... I would like it if he had a sunflower along his spine maybe. Just because it would make me happy personally.

We are getting a VS AMBIVALENZ 2nd Season! 10 new characters and only 5 will debut. The new cast is: Yamashita Daiki, Kobayashi Chikahiro, Takeuchi Shunsuke, Ishibashi Hiiro and Kimura Ryohei.

Tbh, when I saw the news I didn't get excited. On the contrary, I felt kinda depressed. Because I've been following this franchise since day one 3 years ago, and fell in love with all 14 characters. They're my babies. And I LOVE the cast. I'm not ready for 10 new characters and a new cast. ._.

BUT, I'm going to continue following VSA. I'm going to give the new guys a chance. I'm going to watch all the drama eps and get to know all of them. I'm going to vote for my favorites in each colored couple.

I just hope they won't overshadow the original group. I hope Reiou and Chiaki will continue to be the MC in every VSA live broadcast.

I think I already have a fav in each color, but that might change while watching the drama and getting to know them more.

So far:

I prefer Mikera in Scarlet, because imo Daiking suits those cute characters more, and he sounds really adorable in the samples. Can't take him seriously as the super tall and cool Shimba.

I prefer Meguru in Navy, maybe because he reminds me a bit of Issei. I love those foxy looking characters.

I prefer Riam in Orange, because I can't take Shunsuke as this girly looking otaku xD (apparently Luvnosuke/Ainosuke is a hardcore VSA otaku, well, I can relate to that at least). I still can't believe he voices those two characters. They sound nothing like him (imo).

I prefer Kyouya in Black because he looks super awesome, and he loves death metal XD The influence came from his older brother who was in a band. According to his brother, he has an angel voice so his brother has forbidden him from singing death metal. I'm intrigued by that story. (I'm not familiar with this bb seiyuu. I've only heard him in Kyuujitsu no Warumono-san).

I prefer Hiromi in Emerald because he looks average but somehow mysterious (and I pity Ryohei if he has to talk as Cate for a long time lol seems exhausting, kinda like Cuc).

P.S I just thought that it could have been amazing if we had, for example, Yukke and/or ChibaSho as new members. But that won't happen because both of them voiced minor characters in the story already. So sadly they're out of the equation ;_; I'd actually love it if they were more involved in VSA!

Summary: Hina starts a new job and runs into someone she's been dying to meet.

Hina stumbles backwards.  She can feel it – she’s losing her balance all at once, and no matter how she tries to reset her feet, she’s going to fall – so she holds the box of donuts in her hands aloft and takes the loss.  It hurts.  Landing on her butt and with one leg twisted underneath her – not really the best way to fall.  The best way to fall is to find a way to fall forward so she can put her hands out, so she can spread that balance out, but then she would have had to drop the donuts, and really the most important thing is the donuts.  She even keeps the one half-eaten in her mouth!  It does mean she bites her tongue and hurts her jaw, but!  No donuts lost!

See – here’s the thing: this isn’t a normal situation for Aoi Asahina.

Well, mostly it’s not a normal thing.  The donuts are definitely normal.  It’s the first day of the week – Monday! – which is the worst day of the week, after having the whole weekend off – so she always brings in donuts.  Always.  It makes the day just a little bit better!

But the falling isn’t normal.  The running into someone because she’s super late isn’t normal.  The being super late isn’t normal.

It’s the whole new schedule thing.

See, her coach thought it would be better if Hina shifted a few things around, and Hina might be a fantastic swimmer – Olympic gold potential and everything! – but her family’s not well off enough for that to be the only thing she does with her time all the time, so she’d had to get a job, and her last job hadn’t been particularly accommodating of all the time she wanted to spend swimming – and less accommodating of all the matches and stuff she needed to do to prepare for Olympic try-outs, and—

Brand new job, same old Hina!

With a box of donuts.

Running late because she caught herself on what her friend Chiaki calls Default Mode, which is when she goes without really thinking about it and finds she’s where she’s supposed to be but doesn’t remember exactly how she got there, and this time, she’d been on Default Mode to her old job, only she was supposed to be going to the new job, and—

Finds herself on her butt with one leg twisted under her and the box of donuts held in the air like a treasure chest – because it is a treasure chest, and no one will ever be able to convince her that it isn’t – and a donut half-jammed into her mouth that she quickly eats around (even though she definitely bit her tongue; there’s a bit of a copper taste to these donuts that should not be there) so that she can say, “Sorry, sorry!  I wasn’t looking where I was going!”

“Are you okay?”

Hina’s eyes widen, and she glances up, past the hand being offered to her, and to the musclebound woman in front of her.

Now, that was the thing about the new job.  It was particularly accommodating to potential future Olympians, so there were all sorts of athletes of all kinds who worked here – and even a handful who’d been medalists in the past!  So it shouldn’t be a surprise to see the woman that so much of news media had branded The Ogre standing in front of her.  It shouldn’t!  But it still is.

“You’re her,” Hina says, instead of answering the question.

Immediately, the other athlete’s face freezes, falls.  “If you are referring to The Ogre, then—”

“Sakura Ogami!”  Hina tries to scramble to her feet, except that the box of donuts is still in both of her hands, and it’s hard to prop herself up without either of them, and actually her leg kind of hurts when she gets it out from underneath her.  “I’ve been wanting to—  Um.”

“Would you like me to—” Sakura starts to say, gaze shifting to the box of donuts.

“Yes, please!”  Hina hands the box of donuts over to her and slowly pushes herself up.  Then immediately winces.  She reaches down and rubs her ankle.  “Yeah, that’s sprained.  Dangit.”  Then she glances up with a big grin and takes Sakura’s free hand in both of hers.  “I wanted to meet you!  Sorry for, um.  Running into you.”  She averts her gaze and blushes.  “I’m normally not that clumsy.”

Sakura’s gaze drops to Hina’s ankle.  “You’re hurt.”

“It’s not that bad—”

“There’s a nurse on site.  I can take you to her, if that is what you want.”  Sakura holds the box of donuts carefully in one hand.  “Here,” she says, standing next to Hina.  “Lean against me when your ankle hurts too much.”

“Oh!  Uh.  Okay!”

Satoru is looking through a magazine casually (excuse: his phone is low on battery). On the last page, a model wearing a cute pink sundress appears, light and frilly, perfect for a sunny day. Satoru's gaze focuses on it for a moment.

“ Hey, ” he says to Chiaki, his tone easy and nonchalant, “ I think you’d look really good in this. ” He doesn't wait for her to respond right away, as though it is just a passing thought, but the compliment hangs in the air, playful and spontaneous.

A MESS OF STUDY MATERIALS splays out haphazardly across the floor of her dorm room. chiaki is a very tidy person until stress enters the picture. then all bets are off. unlike someone, who barged into her room with absolutely no intention of doing anything academic, the curse-identification exam coming up has overtaken her mind and free time lately. it doesn't help that chiaki entered the school at a major disadvantage compared to those who have known what curses are for most of their lives.

not for the first time, she aches for even a scrap of satoru's privilege. but she holds no resentment towards him for that. what can you do, right? you're born how you're born. and — well, he's been much less insufferable lately. enough that chiaki feels comfortable sitting beside him in her room, a ransacked box of sweets between them, just to have another body present to help her focus. though gojo might be a strange choice of body in anyone else's opinion, he is, unfortunately, the smartest person she has ever met. ( not that she'd admit that to him, ever. ) he can probably answer any question she has about jujutsu, at least in a technical sense. he can always be counted on to stay up late. and chiaki has spent more time talking to him than any other student by a vast margin; even if they spent the whole night bickering, she'd prefer it over the awkwardness of unbroken ice.

rubbing at the back of one eye ( she took her dried-up contacts out a while ago, leaving their true mismatched colors undisguised by the usual brown ), chiaki glances at the page gojo has drawn her attention to.

it is a cute sundress, she has to admit. tie-straps done up in little bows at the model's shoulders, the hem just skimming mid-thigh. short. leggy. it's the kind of thing chiaki would never consider buying for herself.

the fact that gojo saw it and pictured her wearing it — the fact that the mental image crossed him at all —

well. it's probably because she's the only one in the room with him. or maybe it's a pity-compliment, or just a bid to tease a blush out of her the way he does sometimes. but none of the rationalizations can stop her face from heating a bit when her eyes find his, wide and staring as always, then flick back down to the papers strewn about.

❝ um... thanks. that's nice of you to say. ❞ it feels weird to be so polite with gojo. wrong. alien. but it's late, and she's tired, and it was nice of him. sue her. chiaki lifts her pen, one from the bulk pack she got at muji with little animal figures on the clicky ends, and rolls it between two fingers thoughtfully. ❝ you know, girls my age really like to shop. but it never... i dunno. my family's pretty frugal — if something is damaged, we sew it or patch it. if it's impossible to save, we'll search for something like it secondhand. ❞ that would explain why she's scraped by with the same uniform jacket despite the amount of times it's been cut to ribbons by curses.

❝ it'd be nice to own something cute like that for off-days, though. maybe after we graduate? grade-one salary seems pretty good, if i make it that high. ❞ she lifts the pen between her lips, teeth, contemplating. ❝ what's it like, being super rich? is it boring to never want anything you can't have? ❞

She alternates between sleeping standing up in the middle of nowhere, to gaming, to being absolute class mvp for solving stuff. Repeat.

Chiaki is such a sweet character. She can be a bit quiet, but her enthusiasm about her games as well as her friends is incredibly endearing. While she's not my favorite DR2 character, she's absolutely up there and deserves a shot.

She's one of the best (if not, the best) gamers as only a high schooler, and she's solving murders while half asleep.

She has sleep problems, regularly falling asleep while she's talking with people. Maybe because she plays video games all the the time? Also, I ship her and Hajime Hinata.

Chiaki is the most Sleepyhead. She's the ultimate gamer, but frequently takes breaks to nap. She's regularly yawns and is a little dazed and out of it, sometimes thibkibgbofbher next sleep. She also sometimes sleeps mod talk, or is found standing and sleeping idly. She's really kind and full of hope, working hard where she needs but always happy for rest and relaxation. She speaks softly most of the time, and often can be seens with sleepy eyes even when she's also looks alert and awake. Shes is one of the most characters of all times and as a real life sleepyhead gamer she speaks to me deeply.

15 years ago hajime Hinata was a reserve course student who couldn't be around other talented students however one day a reserve course student named natsumi kuzuryuu invited him to her house to make a project alongside two others as they got there hajime met a cute looking boy who had a buzz cut hair Rosy cheeks dirty golden eyes he was fuyuhiko he talked to him a few times but not too long hot...he saw him with 4 kids 2 girls and 2 boys who were trying to write lyrics hajime couldn't stop staring at fuyuhiko for some reason "hey hajimemes why are you staring at my brother and his mentees?" Natsumi appeared out of nowhere hajime jumped "gah! Don't scare me like!" Haji also realized that fuyuhiko is a mentor Nat just crossed her arms "if you like those girls sorry bud they are like 16-17 years old" hajime felt weriden out they were too young for hajime anyways "no! I'm not Looking at them!" Hajime denied it "then who were you staring at?" The two heard the 4 kids and fuyuhiko laughing hajime eyes were glued onto fuyuhiko,natsumi eyes widen smirking "come on memes mike and Athena need our help" later on hajime finds out that the kids with fuyuhiko were street performers called "vivid bad squad" fuyuhiko babysat the group sub leader An and the orange and yellow haired boy this made haji a bit curious he just saw fuyuhiko as a Yakuza and didn't knew that he was also a street performers teacher as him and his group were making a science project he stood up to get water he went down seeing fuyuhiko who was wearing a suit and underneath the jacket was a pink vest he's eye lashes were super pretty he was with that blonde ponytail girl(hajime could of sworn he saw the same girl hiyoko talks to daily) named kohane "fuyu-sama who's this?" Kohane said gently "oh this? I think this is my sister's friend" fuyuhiko stared at him "if you're looking for water it's over there" he pointed at the water dispenser "yea I got kinda lost in this mansion" kohane said embarrassed a bit "same" as hajime got his water haji couldn't resist looking at the beautiful man where he literally spilled his water quickly running out of the room embarrassed

After that haji couldn't stop thinking about fuyuhiko even if he tried he was so dizzy in dreams of that beautiful man...one day when hajime was waiting for chiaki his friend to arrive he heard a little singing a nice melody came from somewhere "what's that noise? "hanpa nara K.O. fuwafuwa shitai nara douzokaien junbi shichaou ka naite mo waratte mo aishite ne" it was a guy singing ado by the kagamines hajime was to curious and investigate the singing as he went around trees he saw a guy sitting under a tree "nandaka na… tte tsumannai koto mo aru deshou ronrii ronri no nooto handii honki dassou" it can't be... fuyuhiko?! No way he's into vocaloid?! He stayed to listen to him singing "yan nacchatte doro ni Bad gohatto darou ga oborete ochite sorosoro ikka" he's voice is so attractive.... "motto ganbatte agaru made motto ganbatte" hajime snapped out realizing he needed to go before fuyuhiko realized

As time went by natsumi invite hajime to his house more often and hajime was always happy because hajime was able to be friends with fuyuhiko and talked with him on a regular daily basis by just talking to him hajime and fuyuhiko sneak out without natsumi knowing just to see the ocean which was not far away from the manor "y'know I love the ocean breeze it's silent and calming I love silent noises" fuyuhiko smiled he looked so pretty under the moon's light "me too" after a while the two develop crushes on each other hajime being a trainwreck trying to get fuyuhiko's heart without him knowing fuyu likes him back the vbs also tried helping fuyuhiko out by making pick up (failing miserably) "how am I supposed to let him know I like him...?" Hajime said to himself trying to sing a song to erase his train of thoughts until "hey Hinata" it was fuyuhiko hajime blushed out of no where surprised by fuyuhiko "o-oh hey fuyu-kun"

"Listen I'm going to my friends y'know the vivid bad squad? They have a live event today and I want you to come" hajime blushed "m-me?" He stuttered "yea toya gave me an invitation to get a plus one natsumi and peko are busy right now..." Hajime heart did 3 backflips "of course!"

At the live event the vbs were there getting excited over hajime talking to him and asking him so much stuff "hey there I'm toya nice to meet you" toya a blue and purple haired boy said to him "o-oh hey there" an akito and kohane smiled at him knowing what's up while fuyuhiko was helping the kids practice for the live event teaching them songs they can sing at the show hajime stared at him "oh so you like vocaloid?" Hajime asked fuyuhiko eyes widen "oh yeah I really do" he laughed "yea he's such a good singer!" An compliant him smiling at him *thanks an"

During the live event the kids were doing so well and sing and dance so amazingly singing the song "Utsuro wo Aogu" (with the help of a singer from their phones) they were in synced with each other which made fuyuhiko happy and seeing him happy after the live event hajime already had to leave as his parents were worried sick about him "thanks for inviting me to the live event" he said "anytime dude hope to see you again soon!" Akito said waving as hajime walked away fuyuhiko was hesitant about something "hey hajime! Fuyuhiko needs to tell you something!" An said fuyuhiko looked at her confused "is there something you need?" Fuyuhiko just went ahead and kissed him on the cheek and ran off "oh"

"Yume there's more then just that story but-" hajime and fuyuhiko realized yume was already asleep they giggled and kissed each other and went to sleep as well "we can tell her more tomorrow"

There's wayyy more then this by the way I planned on a camping trip with vbs story hoped the pjsk characters weren't ooc and there wasn't much dialogue but it worked out well for me at least

Lol that's a very cute idea for them meeting and falling for each other. I don't know anything about PJSK so I don't really get that aspect, but it was still cute. My only critique would be to pay a little more attention to punctuation and grammar, but I realize this wasn't a formal fic or anything.

As I've said in that comment, personally I prefer to associate Ryota more with his classmates of Class-77 B rather than the Future Foundation Branch leaders, which is why most of the artworks I commission have him wearing the brown suit of HPA. Personally I believe that Ryota deserves of being part of his class to the point where him being cut off from it just feels so wrong to me, because it feels as if he's not in the place he's supposed to be: among his peers. And..while I understand the reasons as to why he isn't included in most class 77-B artworks (because he wasn't part of SDR2) I can't help but to feel a little pained when he's excluded from these artworks. What do you think?

I'm going to respond to both your comment and ask here, hope you don't mind! My Tumblrs a bit glitched in that it won't let me send replies from all my blogs... whoops. So first: the reply!

You elaborated on the first point in your ask, which I will respond to in a moment, so first: ships!

I think I've talked about this on my @rarepairronpa blog, but I LOVE ryota rarepairs. Kyouko/Ryota is just one of the many I adore! I think the one I've written the most is Mikan/Ryota, but there's a ton of great ones I love out there! Chiaki/Ryota, Makoto/Ryota, Mikan/Ryota, Kyouko/Ryota, Nagito/Ryota... just to name a few! Ryota narratively parallels and foils so many characters in DR, and that type of meta relationship is always super interesting to me. Kyouko and him are definitely a great pick out of them all, since we actually see what their dynamic looks like... and it's a very charming one! I actually wish I wrote more on the Kyouko/Ryota relationship in that analysis I mentioned; it was a very rough analysis as I adapted it from a convo with my friend, but even more about Ryota has occurred to me since then; like how the fact that the theme of running in his character (specifically trying to run from uncomfortable truths) is contrasted with how Kyouko always looks forward and reveals those truths, even if they're despairing. I think to truly look into the Ryota/Kyouko meta relationship, I'll have to finish the Kirigiri novels, which I've been meaning to do but haven't quite yet...

But that's just their meta relationship! They actually have an on screen friendship to consider too. And it's a very cute and charming one! I love the investigation duo dynamic in media (part of why I also love Naegiri; they had a very similar dynamic in DR1, which is likely intentional- strengthening the meta relationship between Makoto and Ryota), and Ryota and Kyouko was especially charming. I think what's really interesting about them is their differing views on Makoto; Kyouko and Ryota both admire him greatly, but while that admiration is born out of trust and love from Kyouko, that very same emotion from Ryota is born from bitterness and envy. What an interesting pair!

I think Ryota feeling out of place with the other branch leaders is... somewhat intentional from DR3. Future Foundation is very much continuing the legacy of HPA, a place that victimized the SDR2 gang and, honestly, Ryota himself. Ryota's self worth is tied to his talent; something I'm certain HPA propaganda played a role in. He's vulnerable to Junko because she validates his talent, and thus she validates his existence, his self worth. Him joining FF just shows that he's still vulnerable to that kind of validation; that he still believes in HPA ideology, that he's still being screwed over by HPA ideology. He falls for the same exact thing he fell for with Junko, with Tengan. I do think it's telling that his mentor is the founder of FF and a former HPA headmaster; Tengan is still enacting that broken model of hope = talent onto the world, and Ryota is still falling prey to it. Meanwhile... the SDR2 cast are recovering from the damage HPA did to them. Ryota fundamentally can't recover, because he's still emersed in the same toxic culture. That's why they thrive while he suffers.

So, like. A Future Foundation Ryota is an unhappy one. It doesn't help that FF also enables his martyr complex; feeding into his (imo) suicidal ideation. Fundamentally, Ryota is never going to be happy in Future Foundation, because Future Foundation was built on the corpse of HPA, and none of the 77th class can truly recover in the same situation that made them.

He's also fundamentally disconnected from people in FF. His friends, Imposter and Mikan, are the organizations enemies. His only connection is Tengan, who's using him. It doesn't seem like, before befriending Kyouko, he has any other relationships in the organization. A FF Ryota is also a isolated one.

There's a reason his happy ending is being with the rest of his class! They, just like him, are both victims of HPA and Junko Enoshima, in a way only each other can understand. He's reunited with his friends. And he gets the chance to know the rest of the class, too; the class he always should have been apart of. That maybe if he was, none of this would have happened- that if he was, he would have gotten validation for his existence outside of Junko Enoshima and his anime, thus being less vulnerable to her. The 77th class without Ryota is an incomplete class. Dividing them is how they fall. Ryota belongs with them, and his happy ending is that: finding hope in people like him, who validate him without his anime. In fact, he throws away his anime, which he had previously based his entire self worth on.

So I totally get wanting to see Ryota with the SDR2 gang! Especially post canon, as that's his happy ending, and he's earned it! There was actually a meme I reblogged about this exact thing... lol.

I've talked before about how dissatisfied I am with fan content just throwing away DR3. DR3 was definitely a mixed bag, and I don't even like it on a whole, but...! Mixed bag means there was still good stuff in it! I truly get why people do this, as it's simply easier to throw the whole thing out than rewrite it, but it does mean that people cut out Ryota from a lot of fan content, which is sooo disappointing to me. I get it, I truly do; I don't like the brainwashing video that much either. But there's so much more to DR3 than just the brainwashing element! It's just... ugh, you know?!

Specifically I'd love to see more "remnants of despair's weren't brainwashed" content with Ryota involved in it. I've written some myself, but... I don't think I've seen people do it outside of myself. Or at least, very very rarely. Part of why I was so dissatisfied with DR3 is because a lot of it genuinely was really interesting. So it just... kind of feels like throwing the baby out with the bathwater when people throw away everything from DR3.

That's part of why I feel like Ryota doesn't feature a lot in post-SDR2 content. For one, he wasn't apart of SDR2's killing game, and for two, he's from an anime that people hate, tied directly to the thing that makes people hate it. And so... people just ignore DR3 and cut it from their content, because it's easier. Some people even passionately hate Ryota for his involvement in the brainwashing plot line! It's really sad to see as a Ryota fan.

I think my favorite Ryota work I've done so far is his part in what does despair mean to you? Tbh everytime I rewrite DR3 I feel like I get closer and closer to my ideal for it, I don't think I've quite reached it yet but it's definitely fun to explore it. I also really like what I have planned for him in post despair podcast, but he hasn't actually shown up in that one yet. Actually, I also rather like what I have planned with him in Widowmaker, specifically his relationship (platonic this time around) with Mikan, but he... also hasn't shown up in that yet, and likely will only be talked about in the first work of the series, lol. But what does despair mean to you? Definitely takes the cake for me.

Edit: and how could I forget his part in my bodies made of crushed little stars ? Not to mention my DR3 rewrite from Imposter's perspective. Wow, I actually have a fair amount of Ryota works compared to most people, huh? Considering these are just what I'd consider the highlights.

Kohane said gently "oh this? I think this is my sister's friend" fuyuhiko stared at him "if you're looking for water it's over there" he pointed at the water dispenser "yea I got kinda lost in this mansion" kohane said embarrassed a bit "same" as hajime got his water haji couldn't resist looking at the beautiful man where he literally spilled his water quickly running out of the room embarrassed

After that haji couldn't stop thinking about fuyuhiko even if he tried he was so dizzy in dreams of that beautiful man...one day when hajime was waiting for chiaki his friend to arrive he heard a little singing a nice melody came from somewhere "what's that noise? "hanpa nara K.O. fuwafuwa shitai nara douzokaien junbi shichaou ka naite mo waratte mo aishite ne" it was a guy singing ado by kagamines hajime was to curious and investigate the singing as he went around trees he saw a guy sitting under a tree "nandaka na… tte tsumannai koto mo aru deshou ronrii ronri no nooto handii honki dassou" it can't be... fuyuhiko?! No way he's into vocaloid?! He stayed to listen to him singing "yan nacchatte doro ni Bad gohatto darou ga oborete ochite sorosoro ikka" he's voice is so attractive.... "motto ganbatte agaru made motto ganbatte" hajime snapped out realizing he needed to go before fuyuhiko realized

As time went by natsumi invite hajime to his house more often and hajime was always happy because hajime was able to be friends with fuyuhiko and talked with him on a regular daily basis by just talking to him hajime and fuyuhiko sneak out without natsumi knowing just to see the ocean which was not far away from the manor "y'know I love the ocean breeze it's silent and calming I love silent noises" fuyuhiko smiled he looked so pretty under the moon's light "me too" after a while the two develop crushes on each other hajime being a trainwreck trying to get fuyuhiko's heart without him knowing fuyu likes him back the vbs also tried helping fuyuhiko out by making pick up (failing miserably) "how am I supposed to let him know I like him...?" Hajime said to himself trying to sing a song to erase his train of thoughts until "hey Hinata" it was fuyuhiko hajime blushed out of no where surprised by fuyuhiko "o-oh hey fuyu-kun"

how convenient, somebody just as bizarrely careless as Ritsu, even more perhaps. how does he put up with it? We'll never know.

Half the time, he's extremely frustrated by it, how he has a photo shoot to attend in the next thirty minutes and he can't spend all day watching over you so you don't end up zoning out in the middle of something important since it's your job as a producer, but the other half, thinks it's kind of adorable. never will he admit that your face though or make it obviously known.

he could always leave you in the hands of his classmates, Chiaki and Kaoru but he does enjoy spending the time he has talking with you until he has to leave. for his duties are on the line and he wouldn't want to show you a non-perfect version of himself, showing he can maintain you and also his other priorities.

You've kind of just happened to fall asleep again, in the hands of Izu’s classmates, and a sigh came from the Izuhog “Kao-Kun, Chiaki, I told you to keep them busy. (ノ•̀ o •́ )ノ”, you'd expect Chiaki and Kaoru to take good care of you by how talkative they are, right? But it got so boring hearing Kaoru flirt with you -- and Chiaki? methinks he'd start to make your schedule a mess like his own so you would be more active, what a meanie~ like making it something daily to do ballet with him on weekends or ice-skating the next. Putting you into so so many of the things he just simply exceeds in, just to see you struggle and ask for help instead of— passing out basically.

Although it's nearly impossible to ever get bored with him or zone out when always yelling or fussing, what could it be this time? Tsukinaga wrote on their clothes again? Most likely. Though, this is a common occurrence to him now-- he will send you to one of his unit mates so you don't get lonely or bored ( ꈍᴗꈍ). Getting bored with Knight’s is difficult. Even for Izumi. Arashi is always willing to take you shopping and Leo's always talking about the inspiration he gets from being with you!

And there are other times were Izumi invites you to his photoshoots, or even better! Decides on partner photoshoots, surely the photographer won't mind, right? Who can resist young love at its prime? he says it's a way to keep you occupied but in general he really just wants to take pictures with you too.

He kind of chuckles whenever you start falling asleep on him, stroking your hair softly, what a lovely sight for him. It brings him absolute bliss how you pull on his heartstrings no matter what you're doing

Hmm, you don't have what he has but you certainly are quite similar to it, minus the daydreaming, how interesting~♪ you really just seemed to be the perfect fit for the sleepyhead such as himself! He doesn't mind it at all. He does not put up a fuss to your sleepy daydreaming nature, because you know--he's a sleepyhead himself. He might even encourage it a tiny bit, always inviting you to nap with him instead and go to "daydream land" with him <3

but he won't be extra about it. You're in good hands with Natsume, though he will tease at you for this trait you seem to have, but he isn't gonna ramble at you to keep you enthusiastic and alive non-stop either y'know? He has a lot of things to do too. Like-- practice sorcery and hmm, deal with Tsumugi? He's given you all the permission to stumble across his secret room and rest your days away there, only if you choose to. It is also where he drops you off if you've happened to stumble asleep. Him skipping classes is no uncommon occurrence, so he's always there doing his thing there and sure enough, whenever you make your way to his humble not-so-secret-room yourself, he'll be there already prepared with pillows stacked into a fluffy bed in the corner of his room

Being careless and unfocused can cause problems, he worries. Coffee always happens to make him more high-strung and active! Maybe it will keep you from dozing away in your office hm~? He jokes, but seriously!

“yOU should take more responsiBILITY for your ridiculous habit...”, said the man with eyes as fierce as fire, piercing throughout your soul through just a stare. “I am very responsible, more than you matter a fact.” he chuckled at this response, he laughed almost like genuinely laughed with amusement--why? who knows. your foolishness was, cute, perhaps that's why.

We love them. They’re very good both as separate characters and as a duo, and we ship them.

I had an initial bias towards Deuce because of his seiyuu (yay Chiaki), but now that we know him better I kind of love him even more lol, I didn’t expect him to be such a good and entertaining boy. I love that he loves his mom so much that it was enough for him to change his life so drastically, I love that he tries very hard to be a proper student, but his inner wild delinquent self never fully left. And this side of his is a very nice contrast to how naive and a little dumb he is. Deuce is…a bimbo lol, a moe character at least.

Ace surprised us too; he’s somehow more of a douche that we expected him to be, but in a good way. In fact, that goes for both of them: while Deuce isn’t really a douche, he isn’t a saint either, just like every person in the game.

Ace hilariously pissed Katsu off during his first interaction with Yuu and Grim, but then he got his karma in the form of a cauldron and got his butt kicked 1000 times so it’s all good lol But also, he makes surprisingly good points and has a surprisingly low level of tolerance towards bullshit, at least when he’s the one who suffers from it. We really liked how he was written during Riddle’s overblot, because even though I usually like to jokingly argue with characters in such situations, there was nothing I could say to Ace: everything he said to both Riddle and Trey was truth that was needed to be said lol

As a ship, their dynamic is very good, it’s funny how they just got stuck together from the get-go; everyone sees them as “these two dudes”, and they just kind of accepted it. They’re clearly pretty comfortable around each other, and I feel like they share a big chunk of their moral values, even though their motivations are very different. At the same time, they’re such stubborn bickering idiots; their relationships are definitely quite passionate lol Also the fact that one of them is a mister “I don’t wanna date girls, relationships suck” and the other one is super oblivious and seemingly innocent makes their potential romance intriguing. There is this tension between them, as if Ace is somewhere between “I want to pursue him” and “I don’t want shit from this idiot”, and Deuce is just… blinking and being confused for the most part. And annoyed.

✦you know how chiaki is always super loud and bright? he’s trying to tone it down just a bit so that you won’t have to deal with a headache too. from time to time he’ll talk a bit louder or scream because of something (he cracked a joke and you laughed!! you laughed o(*°▽°*)o) but he’s soon apologizing and holding your hand, all worried that he made you feel worse.

✦chiaki brings a good chunk of his sentai films collection with him! look. the quality of some of those movies is… to be discussed. but! it manages to keep you distracted and have a good time as soon as the medicine starts working a bit, discussing with chiaki about the special effects and how the plot is a bit all over the place. and yet it’s too much fun to stop!!

✦“i’m always your hero but especially today you can totally count on me, okay? anything you want, i got it! or i’ll get it as soon as you tell me so be sure to ask, okay? we’ll get you back to health in no time!!” and so chiaki proceeds to kiss your forehead and pull you into a nice, warm hug. maybe you tell him that he shouldn’t hug a sick person… or maybe you don’t. because there’s this special feeling every time chiaki holds you in his arms that you’ve grown to love so much. it’s safe, it’s comfortable. the way his hair tickles against your skin and you can almost feel his grin against your forehead. if chiaki says you’re getting better then you’re convinced that you will!!

Super cute, loves video games and just wanna take naps

She alternates between sleeping standing up in the middle of nowhere, to gaming, to being absolute class mvp for solving stuff. Repeat.

Chiaki is such a sweet character. She can be a bit quiet, but her enthusiasm about her games as well as her friends is incredibly endearing. While she's not my favorite DR2 character, she's absolutely up there and deserves a shot.

She's one of the best (if not, the best) gamers as only a high schooler, and she's solving murders while half asleep.

She has sleep problems, regularly falling asleep while she's talking with people. Maybe because she plays video games all the the time? Also, I ship her and Hajime Hinata.

Chiaki is the most Sleepyhead. She's the ultimate gamer, but frequently takes breaks to nap. She's regularly yawns and is a little dazed and out of it, sometimes thibkibgbofbher next sleep. She also sometimes sleeps mod talk, or is found standing and sleeping idly. She's really kind and full of hope, working hard where she needs but always happy for rest and relaxation. She speaks softly most of the time, and often can be seens with sleepy eyes even when she's also looks alert and awake. Shes is one of the most characters of all times and as a real life sleepyhead gamer she speaks to me deeply.

Yeah i will. But also fuck you for choosing a character in each goddamn game its such a pain putting these in my masterlist. I cut Chiaki because of that. (NOTE: I use they / them pronouns for Chihiro because I’ve heard good arguments both ways, and as someone who doesn’t care about gender at all I don’t have a horse in this race.)

CHIHIRO FUJISAKI

They could probably tell that you were starting to question your gender, considering the two of you became friends very quickly at the start of the year.

When you came out to them, squeezing your hands and looking anywhere but at their face they hastened to reassure you.

“I’m glad you were able to figure it out.” They offered a bright smile as they squeezed your hands. “That’s always such a reassuring feeling. I’d be glad to help you go shopping for clothes!”

They don’t actually like going shopping much, as getting called miss by strangers makes her uneasy, but they’re willing to do it to make you more comfortable! Honestly they aren’t the best shopping buddy- they’ll say everything looks good on you, and their personal style is ‘what won’t let my skin stick to my seat after I’ve spent 12 hours coding’.

Chihiro even bit the bullet and asked Celeste if she had any clothing recommendations for you, as Junko is too terrifying for them to ask.

Celeste got very into it and took you on multiple shopping expeditions, paying for the clothes that she decided flattered your figure in her favorite shops (that you wouldn’t be able to afford for 50 years). Celeste is transfem too. I will kill on this hill.

SHUICHI SAIHARA

When you told him, he nodded. He had suspected based on a few factors- your look of discomfort when called sir, websites about how to socially transition were open in your browser when you passed it over to him, and a few other things combined.

He only shrugged and asked if you wanted to go shopping with his aunt. She had been very disappointed that her neighbors cute niece had in fact been a shy boy all those years ago, after all!

He also sucks to shop with. He’s not the biggest fan of loud places and malls / large shops are like that. He’ll say you look good in everything you pick out, but if you decide on something he thought didn’t actually look good he’ll hem and haw until you finally manage to get him to admit that the collar color doesn’t really go with your eyes.

He’s very lowkey about it. He’s not very open about his own queerness, and unless you say otherwise he assumes you’re the same. He’s not ashamed, he just hates when people walk on eggshells for no reason around him.
