Because of course I just had to do this trope
This is the first and last time they decide to sleep in an inn and they have an unspoken agreement to pretend this never happened

prince satoru who gets drunk at every ball, gala, and formal gathering because he knows it means you, his knight in waiting, will have to drag him away and spend time trying to sober him up. he really doesn’t care much for liquor (and when it takes merely a half chalice of wine to get him tipsy, he hardly considers what he’s doing a problem), but he does care for you, and he cares a lot about having your attention and your hands on him as you try to get him to settle down and feed him bread and water. it’s a much better way to spend the evening if you ask him

Lad really wanted the duster to be a toy. Even though I wouldn’t let him have it, I think he had fun following it around as I dusted

It has come to my attention that some of you are being sad sacks over certain messages, so I'm calling an emergency crew meeting. Common room six, get your asses over there.
Nastya, you have a grace period, but if you're not down here in two sphours I'm dragging you out of the vents by the fucking ankles.
*Jonny is ticked off. The messages hadn't bothered him, if he's entirely honest, but the way they targeted the others? Yeah, he's pissed. And he's currently channelling that energy into dragging armfuls of blankets and cushions into common room six, along with copious amounts of alcohol from their restocked stores.*

Interview with Live Forever doc director John Dower, March 2003
How did you go about securing interviews with the main players in the mid-1990s music scene?
At the start we made a pact that we wouldn't do the film without the holy trinity of Damon Albarn, Jarvis Cocker and the Gallagher brothers. At some times I wanted to break it but we made that pact. To get them all into the film took a combination of relentless begging and stalking. It took a while, around four to five months, but we expected it to. We had to shut down the production for two months at one point and I was doing car boot sales to survive!
It helped that John Battsek had won an Oscar, as it shows your credibility as film makers. It was not just Channel 4 ringing them up saying: "We're doing a clips show on 1995 and we've got a hole that needs feeling." None of them were ever 'keen' to do the film but we got there in the end. I'm sure they all did it just so that we would go away and stop bugging them.
Noel was brilliant, after a long time of speaking to his manager he finally came into to see us and he saw the Oscar, picked it up and said: "The only reason I'm talking to you is because you've got an Oscar, I'm that fucking shallow."
Did you have any diva style demands or strange requests before people would agree to do the film?
There were no strange requests, I've not really worked with celebrities before but I was expecting some J-Lo style demands. There was absolutely nothing like that.
Noel was so good that he agreed to be interviewed twice, because he enjoyed the first one so much. He even flew himself to Glasgow, where Oasis were discovered, for the second chat. When John did his last documentary it was hard for him to get access to the people he wanted, so for Noel to fly himself up to Scotland meant a lot. Jarvis walked to the interview we did with him. In fact the only thing anyone asked for was Damon requesting a fried egg sandwich.
Have your opinions changed on any of the stars you talked to, and if so how?
I never had an opinion on any of them, I just liked their music, but there is a public perception. When I met them I found them very different to how most people would imagine.
There is a tendency to portray Noel as this dour and morose Mancunian, Liam as a yob, Damon as a middle class ponce and Jarvis as a geek. But in reality Noel is one of the sharpest and funniest men in this country, and I think that comes across in the film. And Liam is, well, Liam - he is utterly bizarre, a mixture of odd surrealness and friendliness. Damon is a very thoughtful individual too.
Who was the hardest person to interview and why?
Definitely Liam. He turned up and for about the first twenty minutes of the interview he just sat there without really saying anything. I stopped the interview and said: "I don't want to be funny but I am actually finding this really intimidating. You're just not saying anything, it's silence." He replied, "I fucking like silence I do, it gives you time to think." But he warmed up after that and he is a very nice guy, he even gave me a big cuddle at the end.
The thing with Liam is he doesn't care, he is genuinely not interested. That is quite a big deal in these celebrity obsessed times, where people are so conscious about their image. Liam simply does not give a damn and that's why people love him.
The Gallagher brothers come across very well in the film but Damon seems to be holding a lot back, even after all these years. Is this how it seemed to you?
Yeah, I think so. But Damon got a kicking in the mid 1990s, he was stereotyped as the middle class arty pantomime villain. Only in Britain could two bands going against each other be turned into class war. It was quite tricky and painful for him to go over all these things again, it wasn't a particularly pleasant time. He sold lots of records and got to travel the world but he was one who got the kicking. But ironically through Gorillaz Damon is the one who has gone on to break America.
Have the main stars seen the film and what have their reactions been?
We showed the film to Damon and Noel. Damon said he wouldn't sign the release form to give his permission to appear before he'd seen it. He didn't want any editorial control, and nor would we give it, but he'd been stitched up in the past and wanted to check we hadn't done that. When he came to see the film, he definitely found a lot of it quite difficult to watch. He didn't have to do the film and as he said himself, "I suppose once again I'm going to have to take a kicking from Noel." But he told me he was pleased that he came across as human in the film and that was all he cared about. I have a lot of respect for Damon.
Noel saw it and laughed a lot. He didn't enjoy the stuff about him going to No 10 Downing Street for drinks with Tony Blair and cringed all the way through that bit. Noel's attitude to Damon changed after he saw the movie, it was quite beautiful really. They don't like each other and there is no getting away from that but I think he was quite surprised at how badly Damon had been effected. Noel spent a lot of time watching the film jeering at Damon, especially in the section about the Blur v Oasis battle, but later on he went quite quiet. And afterwards he was like, "fuck man, what's happened to Damon?"
I don't think Liam's seen it, in fact I don't think Liam even remembers being in it!
Jarvis has moved to Paris but he has seen the film and I hear that he enjoyed it.
What is your favourite part of the film and what were your personal highlights while making it?
That is a tricky one. I suppose the highlight for me making it was meeting Wonderwall. It came at the end of four days travelling around the country and we were pretty knackered. And then we got into the studio with those guys and just wet ourselves laughing!
It was also lovely to meet people like Liam and Noel. I genuinely liked Noel, he was a gentlemen and very funny, he is someone I would like to hang out with. Watching the film back the highlight has to be the bit when I have to explain to Liam why people think he is androgynous and what it means. At the time it was quite intimidating and I thought he was going to get up and give me a slap when I explained to him why he had feminine qualities. It ends up, typical Liam, in a surreal outcome when he declares that, "I take care of my hair."

Thinking about teenage Sirius, wickedly smart with top grades, a rich heir to an old pureblood house, tall and handsome and haugty, drawing many admiring and envious looks that he appears to be above acknowledging. Popular, yet sticks to his small and close circle of friends, not really allowing anyone else close.
But even with them he's guarded about his own physical space; the old uncease is hard to shake, and it twists the want into knots. No matter how much he craves this intimicy, he struggles to accept it when it's given, and initiating it himself is even more difficult.
Padfoot makes everything simple, though. And so Sirius starts turning into him whenever he needs to be close - because asking for cuddles is so much easier for the dog than it is for the boy.

cuddling with togame and it all seems innocent till you feel jo's hands creep a little higher up your shirt. it doesn't bother you much that he has his hands casually roaming around your bare back - it's business as usual for this man. but he's discreet, reaching up to your bra while your face is buried in his chest. with one skilful flick of his fingers, you suddenly sit up when you realise togame jo just unclasped your bra with one hand.
