i know im gonna get called a russian psy-op for this and this is by no means a cohesive post, but i do not think that it is an accident that people are posting memes like this about joe biden.

like i am sorry but you are literally part of the problem. joe biden is not 'just an old man who stutters' and he has had a history of homophobia, racism, and xenophobia. Like this is the guy who voted against legalizing gay marriage once upon a time, currently supports israel and the genocide of the palestinian people, supported the war in iraq and the war crimes committed there, and has gone on record passing laws that would disproportionately affect people of color regarding crime.

You cannot claim that this guy is 'just old and stutters'. he has done legitimately terrible things. you can't erase old history like it never happened, and get upset when the people who were disenfranchised by him do not trust that he has their back. in doing so you're alienating the people who were most affected by his legislation and ignoring their suffering.

And that's the way you change the world. It's the ONLY way" and that's why I am sure it will never stop being one of the most relevant works of fiction ever created

talked with some classmates and a teacher about that one play and then theatre and then kinda got towards working there, and a gal was like "i've thought about working there but i think then i'd grow to hate the theatre" and like, on the one hand i get it?

but it's interesting how her and a lot of people tbh think of fun and work as inherent opposites. and meanwhile i'm over here lile "YAY finally i've got work agian!!! whoooo!!!!" and anyway i didn't have a point to make but i hope everyone gets a job like that and that i can stay involved in the theatre for ever and ever and
