i guess we won't know until three days but i really doubt they'd miss this detail - ? but phai.non's sun mark isn't there as a child. and given the implications of his future . . . that isn't an innocent thing most likely. i want to say ' oh hey he got a tattoo ! ' but anything in h.sr with phai.non ends up being nightmare fuel levels of sad and tragic so . . it has to probably do with the destruction path / nan.ook. that's just my guess. maybe it's a brand and not a tattoo. especially with the myri.ad cele.stia trailer that shows him being called a 'prisoner' and being offered to 'leave and carve magnificent ruin' ... not to mention that angelic / god like form we'll definitely be seeing in 3.4 from the trailers and livestream, even the patch header.

i honestly just want to think it's a tattoo and wouldn't it be hilarious if it genuinely was ? like all this worry about wait why didn't he have it as a kid ? instead just. 'he decided to get a really big tattoo.'

but it's probably him being branded by nano.ok's (the destruction aeon / essentially god of destruction to non hs.r people) gaze on him but beyond that we still have three days to wait for that.
