Back when I was 16 I had to have my kidney removed. And I remember lying there while they set up everything (without my glasses on so everything was fking blurry) and one of the last things I heard was the assistant telling the doc that I had an 'abnormally large pelvis'

All I remember thinking was 'okaaay, wtf dude?'

(And also on an unrelated note, as I was drifting off the doc let me hold his hand until I was totally out <3)

Just got the idea of Sakura time-traveling to the Second War and is just like "oh. oh no." and she can't be seen but she also can't just not help fellow Konoha shinobi when they're dying right there and just. henges into Tsunade since their skills are indistinguishable right?

Tsunade getting credit for things she definitely doesn't remember doing and just ??? nani the fuck??

but this mysterious doppelganger saves Nawaki and Orochimaru swears it was her techniques

Throw Naruto and Sasuke in there too, in whatever way it would make their sannin mentors question if they're having memory problems because they do not remember half the shit they are getting credit for

Like when Orochimaru betrays the village Sasuke takes the chance to use Orochimaru's image to kill the elders+danzo

Naruto helps to save Uzushio from complete destruction making Jiraiya a big hero

And the three sannin are all just. so. so confused.

bonus hilarity if no one on Team 7 realizes the other two are there

in omega consort shen yuan au, mobei jun has found a new sqh just like binghe found his nice shizun. his name is shang feiji (飞鸡 because his parents didn’t love him i guess idk) and he’s a mousy little alpha from a far less esteemed branch of og sqh’s family.

initially he’s brought in to lbh’s court bc he keeps a census of everyone whose cultivation potential is strong enough for them to have presented as an alpha or omega, and it’s curious that someone’s been able to hide for so long.

by this point, sy has been in lbh’s court serving as an advisor for a little while, so he’s there when this little rat of a man is brought before lbh. he hears his name (airplane and flying chicken are both pronounced fēi jī) and can’t help the ‘tch’ + eyeroll, which he explains away as ‘there was a man in my hometown with the same name who wrote a truly abysmal novel that haunts me to this day’

airplane hears that and he’s like !??!??!???? ‘pidw!??!???!!!!’ so of course after that sy’s like ‘ok we need to talk asap’

after their Conversation, sy is insistent on bringing airplane into the court, and mbj’s been administratively feeling og sqh’s absence since killing him. so, airplane joins the court, chucked into the deep end.

I saw a murderbot daemon au where ART built murderbot a drone to act as a daemon and implies constructs are severed and yall know im a sucker for daemon aus?? But also like. daemon au where every secunit automatically comes with a minimum of one (1) drone, and at least one drone is essential to functioning. why? folks don’t know, maybe it’s storage or something. If units have multiple it’s usually as decoys for the important one

anyway obviously this drone is a daemon by another name. they don’t change shape partially bc they don’t know they can, partially bc the gov module will zap em dead if they change

It is making me think that after murderbot goes on the run it discovers its beloved drone has like. Idk. Multiple settings? Little spider drone that can skitter. Little lizard drone that can stick to walls. It can even do things like, lil cat drone that can claw up someone’s face real good (:

There's one thing I'm surprised I haven't seen in the Danny Phantom Phandom...

I think we, as a fandom, can agree that the Anti-Ecto Acts are essentially saying it's illegal to be dead. The general wording used in most fanfiction is: "Ecto-entities or beings that produce ectoplasm must be captured for containment, experimentation, and elimination."

This is, of course, terrifying in and of itself. However, they based this "law" on the idea that ghosts are "post-human consciousness imprinted on ectoplasm..." ei. dead people.

This leads me to the topic of this post. They are basically waging war on the afterlife. Ignoring how foolish it is to fight an ever growing dimension like that, the GIW is basically attacking what could be Heaven. Granted, with the ghost fights, it would be Hell too, but the law doesn't differentiate.

You cannot tell me that there wouldn't be pure mortal chaos if people were told that going to heaven is illegal. That the government found proof of life after death and started to attack those on the other side and no human would be pissed because of the successfully piss off the afterlife there'll be no more heaven for anyone.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not particularly religious. I haven't touched a Bible. But, I do live in the US, and I think that if it got out that war crimes were being committed against the eternal resting place or whatever? People would riot. The Justice League wouldn't be necessary, just Lois Lane and other daring reporters telling the public. The GIW would get shut down so fast their heads would spin.

That being said, the show is pretty secular and I don't know if any of the major religions pop up in DC Comics, so maybe that's why I haven't seen it be used in fanfiction.

like okay listen. one of you has the ability to go back in time by clapping your hands while looking at a photo. presumably you know that abilities are passed on to children. they can activate at any time, perhaps during traumatic moments like with the twins. one of you went to teach at a school for superpowered kids so presumably you know how this works.

and you think you can just abandon a kid with unactivated powers?? leave him with trauma ripe for awakening abilities? what if it wasn't the bridon photo that triggered it huh? what if cheng xiaoshi, at the tender age of 8, cried so hard wondering about his parents and then he accidentally claps himself into a random photo (IN A PHOTO STUDIO! A SHOP ABOUT PHOTOS!! WHERE HE LIVES!!!) with no one to guide him? what if he gets stuck there??? as a kid???

like okay yeah lu guang discovered his ability at 7 years old but apparently someone was there to help him. and also his ability doesn't like, harm him physically. he's not possessing someone or anything. so we're all just lucky cheng xiaoshi never discovered his powers until he was an adult because like. if he discovered that as a kid, lonely as he was?? he'd be so fucked. oh my god. just thinking about it gets me heated like what the fuck cheng weimin. shao yuanyuan. what the fuck. what if your 8 year old kid with abandonment issues got stuck possessing some random person and he doesn't know what's happening. he doesn't know anything. his parents left him and he's not even himself anymore and he's not home and how does he fix this, how does he go back. the horror of it all.
