remembering that jolyne said she only ever acted out as a kid bc she wanted jotaro to come home is already devastating by itself but its worse when u remember the jotaro&jolyne and sadao&jotaro absent dad parallels. like..... the cycles....... did jotaro only start acting out the way he did as a teen bc he wanted sadao to come home and care about him too............

#im ok the daddy issues are just getting to me #like [points at part 3 jotaro] that is NOT a mentally healthy teenager. esp with the fucking pre-part 3 jotaro lore #what kind of okay teenager tries to kill themself IN THEIR FIRST EPISODE. what kind of okay teen locks himself bc he thinks hes a monster #what kind of okay teenager has a complete personality swap within what seems like months #why the fuck isnt sadao in ANY of the photos in their house #im getting off topic bc im always sad abt teenage jotaro but. i know he has the daddy issues.#i know he has the 'please fucking notice im not okay and care' childhood trauma lashing out complex #and im in pain thinking abt that + the cycles and him knowing he accidentally put jolyne thru the same thing #bc of the fuckign.
