are you an artist who wants to get away from big site-builders like squarespace & have a place to put your work that isn't social media? i threw together a super basic portfolio code template you can use to make your own website!

it should be easy enough to customize if you have a basic understanding of what html and css are. features include:

responsive to fit on different screen sizes

fairly compact — less than 300 lines of css, and you never have to look at anything after line 30 if you don't want to

customizable fonts, colors, image sizes, and decorations right at the top of the css

image gallery with a lightbox function (clicking an image to make it bigger)

free to customize to your heart's content!

And that is!! 18 of 18 pages!! It's this long because I didn't want to break up their fight. I hope you enjoy :)

I had to rewrite their fight like,,, 3 times lmao. I'm not very good at writing fights because I'm Incredibly Passive Aggressive and Very Non Confrontational. Thankfully my partner helped me out a bit with making the escalation feel natural, so hopefully their grievances and motivations read well. In the end, both of them are starving probably-emotionally-stunted teenage boys in a high-stress situation, and Tage is being faced constantly with one of the biggest sources of his trauma that he doesn't even remember-- of course he's going to lash out.

Fun thing I learned this time around, if I struggle with planning a chapter, it can kind of help to write it out in prose like I would a fanfic, and then translate it to comic form. This is how I eventually ended up with 18 pages of comic,,, because I can't really estimate how much I'll need to draw when I'm writing in prose. In turn, this did help a lot with adding more natural behaviors between dialogue, like Tage tapping his finger to fidget while crossing his arm, or all of their pointing and gesturing while they're arguing.

I must admit I missed this bit until a few people on here pointed it out. It'll help. Added Ginger. Almost has a double meaning here. The humbug will help Ryan with his warp-travel sickness, but the added ginger is the only thing helping the Doctor get through her day.

It's honestly so sad. But if you think about the fact that she beat the Matrix, the Cybermen, the CyberMasters, and the Master—all the while not even being fully sober—it's low-key funny.

Guys I'm going slow mode again. I'm just getting registered to a health care plan (for me and for my brother) so i can take care of my health and, before anything, thank you for supporting me into this. I know i might complain a lot for someone who will pay "only" 80 dollars for this monthly, while my usamerican friends have to live under terrible and abusive medical fees, but it's still a lot of money to me and I want to thank you guys for being the reason why I'm able to pay for all that. That being said, the shortness of breath that i mentioned MONTHS ago? It didn't go away. It did fade for a few periods of days but still it would came back. I'm writing this on tranquilizers so I'm sorry for any english mistakes. I'll have to go slow. I don't know how i will be able to pay for a healthcare plan, college tuition and the coffee shop past debts (that are still rolling on my credit card) but i trust the Almighty God and I know He loves me very much because there's no way so many people on earth actually care this much about me. So, while I'm anxious and frightening because I'm human, i am spiritually at peace because everything will be alright. One way or another. I'm gonna have to slow down on many many projects because i can't sit up for many minutes without losing control of my lungs so I won't be back for the commissions too soon, unfortunately. I come to ask for prayers, even if you're a non believer. If you won't, it's absolutely ok, i love you. Please keep me in your thoughts, and keep supporting me please 🙏 I'll be back, i promise.

Because I agonised for an hour or more this morning on how i would get groceries before 'allowing' myself to order them to be delivered:

You don't have to push yourself to your absolute limit constantly as a disabled person to prove you are worthy of care and support and recovery/improvement/symptom management. (I know this is a broad spectrum that varies for each person).

Abled people do strictly unnecessary things to make their lives easier all the time. You're allowed to do that too.

#seriously it was like- i can't drive so it's easier to walk to the supermarket with my crutches #but then i'll need both of them #and it's nearly impossible (for me) to shop in a way that isn't extra labour and frustration with two crutches #so I should probably take my wheelchair #but that still limits me to what I can carry home in a backpack #and I have to cross major roads to get there without traffic lights and that's more difficult in my chair #and I'm already trying to recover from the past two days #and I have hobbies I want to do today and class to attend tomorrow #so I don't want to max myself out just getting groceries #but i *need* groceries today because otherwise myself and (more importantly imo) my cat won't have anything to eat (literal)#anyway uhh... being disabled is so much work that abled people without disabled folks in their lives don't see #radio chatter #actually disabled #actually chronically ill #mobility aid user
