undertale came out in 2015 and alphys was posting shit like this which people do to this day.. i think it's a type of ironic shitposting that was in fashion in 2015 (iterating on the 'neck beard' anime fan stereotype), then fell out of fashion as making fun of anime fans became irrelevant and overplayed (ie joking about stereotypes that no longer existed, especially during the Great Shift in 2020) (this was probably intended by undertale; alphys's particular style of hating on the sequel to her favorite anime seems more aligned with that stereotype than the terminally online tgirl anime fan of today). but then came back into fashion as the original 2008-2011 anime fan became an object of nostalgia rather than an object of cringe, a representative of a sincere subculture, admirably self-possessed while also being pathetic and "cringe". and so I think the modern day equivalent of alphys would be very similar to how she was written in 2015, since she was ironically self aware even then and the expression of these traits is only slightly different. undertale is shockingly prescient and timeless. they hate to see a tem get her derp on

smth smth kris having 'lost' their brother, working with carol who's lost her daughter (who also has a connection to kris' brother), who's working with asgore who's 'lost' his wife and family... smth about chapter 3 being about tenna (existing as a projection in a dark world created specifically by kris) trying to make things stay as they were, and then ch 4 featuring carol keeping dess' room locked and untouched and not letting anyone even so much as handle her guitar and asgore still hounding toriel with flowers even though it's been long established things are over between them and she'll do nothing but throw them away... asgore outright saying he's doing 'this' (whatever this is) for his family, carol being simultaneously dismissive yet hungrily possessive over her own, kris being desperately lonely in theirs... idk man. smth smth clinging to what used to be, and trying to bring about something new solely based on that memory.

Since I like the red headband theory I feel like Ralsei would prefer Kris a bit more because... He's part of Kris. But even if he is, would they still like him when he finally tries to... be.. not Ralsei ... But HIMSELF?

I mean his name still Ralsei ofc, but not the idealization of what Ralsei should be? But rather him being himself?...

Also, would Ralsei still like Kris if (Kris be themself, without the soul?

In a way I feel like yes bc... If they grew up "together" and lost each other (Kris loosing the headband) It means that they both have this more stronger connection since childhood, right?

And also the thing of REAL Kris (without the soul) talked with Ralsei without us in the scene

Ok I just watched someone beat the Roaring Knight (and holy shit does that battle look hard, genocide route sans who) and seeing that little detail of Kris bowing down before the knight + Kris' talking to (I assume) the Knight through the phone during chapter 4 makes it almost certain that Kris and the Knight are collaborating. The question now is are we (the heart I mean) the baddies
