Ducktales Tickle Headcanons!!
Oh my days, these little guys have been eating away at my thoughts for the last month, so I'm finally forcing myself to write!! 💞💞✍️✍️✍️
TW!: SOME SWEARING! Also, this does have spoilers for season 2!!!
Tags for moots!: @sunsetsandsunshine, @hypermoonlover, @rice-cake-teen10
Plus some other people that may enjoy!: @randommusicalfluff, @anxious-lee
Strap in, because I have a LOT to say about the triplets!!! (No seriously, I wrote a shit ton.. I need to be monitored or smth) Okay, here we go!
(Rahhh he's so stimmy I LOVE HIM!!!)
❤️ Huey! ❤️
Lee-Leaning Switch!! 65/35
Lee:
Okay, I think this gif says it all, but Huey can. NOT. stop. moving!!
One poke to the sides, and he is jumping away his with highest-pitched squeal you've ever heard
It's lowkey embarrassing sometimes because of how out of control he gets
Like, he's the oldest! He's supposed to be calm and collected!
That goes out the window when he's being tickled.
It's not that he doesn't like it, he thinks it's super fun and silly!
He just has no way to manage his body 🤷
I'd say his worst spots are his ribs, feet, back, and armpits
Usually, his laugh is very bright and airy, mostly consisting of surprised giggles
Get any of these spots though?
Instead, Huey is cackling like a lunatic, out of breath and looking like he's going crazy
His knees are a melt spot! Gentle tracing there, and he won't squirm as much, opting to curl up and giggle
Most definitely squeaks. Like- a lot.
Also cannot hold in his laugh for shit
Poor kiddo just bursts out laughing immediately
Has a habit of trying to talk through his laughter, but he can never really make coherent sentences. Can get out single words though
His brothers loove to tickle him as a means of convincing him to do things (Going on an adventure, donating to Louie's kids, etc..)
He and Dewey also regularly partake in tickle fights
It's pretty much a matter of who can reach the other's spots first to determine the winner
Doesn't get lee moods often, but they definitely still happen
The Duck family is actually extremely chill when it comes to tickling, so it's pretty normal for one of the triplets to just ask for tickles
Because of this, Huey can usually just ask one of his brothers or uncles for help :)
Whenever Huey does ask for tickles, he'll usually tell his ler to just pin his arms up or smth so he doesn't accidentally squirm away
Or hit someone. That has happened far more than he'd like to admit.
Still, his brothers always get over it, and love tickling him too much to ever stop
And when Della made it back from space???
OH YOU BEST BELIEVE HE IS GOING TO HIS MOM FOR TICKLES
Atp she tickles him the most
The first time, he probably just came up to her and asked, and Della was so surprised because like-
Her baby is ticklish?? He wants to be tickled?? 😃 He wants to be tickled by her??? 😭😭😭
There were some tears of joy that day, and she definitely indulged
I am sososo grateful we got lee!Huey in canon btw- because OH MY GOD 😭😭😭
Ler:
Loves tickling his brothers!!!
A more gentle ler, and is always very careful of boundaries
His style mostly consists of scribbling, and very rarely does anything rougher than a light squeeze
Huey tickles Louie the most, but it's usually because he asks the most. (more on that later)
Is willing to tickle anyone if they ask, and is always so happy to do so
Does tease, but only when it's someone he's familiar with, and the mood is chill
"Ahhtickletickletickle!! Is this a good spot?" "I've got you now~"
Things like that
Now, remember how I said he rarely tickles roughly??
Well, there are two exceptions.
One of those exceptions being if it is specifically requested by his lee
It's typically Dewey who does this, but Huey is still very cautious
Checks in more often when he's tickling harder, just to make sure everythings hunky dory
There hasn't really been a time when things went too far, and Huey is genuinely proud of that
Again, very respectful. Never wants to make anyone uncomfortable.
Now for the second exception.
It is a pretty well known fact that Huey can get out of control when he's really mad or worked up
Someone has to do something really wrong to awaken an angry Huey.
When that person happens to be one of his little brothers??
Well.. let's just say he didn't earn the title Tickle Monster for nothing.
Emphasis on the monster part
Even when he's seething, Huey still has the common sense not to hurt his siblings
But that doesn't mean he isn't willing to tickle them until they're crying and high-key about to piss themself
This has only happened like, 3 times?
Even so, the lee certainly knows what they did wrong, so there is no doubt that any of it is unprovoked
When he's in this zone, he does not say a word
Just stares menacingly at his lee, and keeps it up until they either apologize, or (more likely) he feels like he's evened out the score
And again, it does take a substantial amount of annoyance to unleash the Tickle Monster
And Huey always lets people know when he's getting annoyed waaay before he resorts to drastic measures
Will always ask if the lee is okay after he tickles them, and will probably get them some water
Bro, we managed to get lee AND ler content (technically) of Huey- I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!!
💙 Dewey! 💙
Switch!! 50/50
Lee:
Absolutely loves tickling!
This boy yearns for attention every day of his waking life- tickling is no different!
Dewey's a fighter though, so his ler better expect to be able to hold their ground
Will tickle anyone back without hesitation
Well.. except for the Huey Tickle Monster..
That's the one time when he just accepts his fate.
Other than that, Dewey will totally slap away hands, buck, arch and kick- it's just his nature.
Worst spots are his sides, feet, belly, knees, and surprisingly enough, his cheeks!
He's pretty ticklish in other places too, but these spots can be really killer
Okay, let me tell you!!
THIS. BOY. HAS. NO. SHAME!!
Absolutely zero
If he wants to be tickled, he's walking up to whoever is closest and practically demanding that they do so.
He gets lee moods somewhat often, but he'll ask even if he's not in a mood
He could just be a little bored, and just go up to a brother for tickles
Donald thinks it is so cute, so of course he never says no
His brothers pretend it's annoying sometimes, but they've never said no either soo..
Even though he does move around a bit, Dewey can actually manage to keep his arms up pretty well if he wants to
You know the 'Arms Up' game??
He's deemed himself the all-time winner!
Only lost once, and that was to Webby
Dewey's laugh is super sporadic- it ranges from frantic giggles, to squealing, to cackles, and everything in between! Sometimes within a few seconds!
I said his cheeks are one of his worst spots, but they're also a melt spot for him!
Gentle fluttering there makes him squeak and grab onto his ler's wrists
Will straight up throw in the towel if he's being tickled that way, the light sensations are unbearable to him
During lee moods though, sometimes he'll ask specifically for cheek-tickles
Gets tickled by pretty much everyone, whether he asks or not
Donald specifically has to tickle him to calm some of the energy down sometimes
With three kids, he tries and tries to find ways to make life more manageable
He's found that 5 minutes set aside to tickle Dewey consistently works to keep him under control
By the way, we can all agree that he is the biggest mama's boy known to man, correct? Good. I thought so.
Dewey is always asking her to tickle him, and has even gotten her back a few times!!
For a while, he went into detective mode to try and figure out if she was ticklish
Asking Uncle Donald, his brothers, everyone.
At some point, he crept up behind her and just squeezed her sides
Della legit screamed, whipped around, and tickled the daylights out of him.
Dewey had no regrets, and now will always start tickle fights with her.
NOT ONLY DID WE GET CANON TICKLES FOR HUEY, BUT DEWEY IS TICKLISH TOO!! 🥳💞💞
Ler:
He is a crazy ler!!
Tickles anyone and everyone ALWAYS.
If you let your guard down for a minute, there is a 90% chance that you're gonna get got.
His style is super chaotic, with wiggling fingers, tazes, squeezes, pokes..
Dewey will dew it all.
Depending on who he's tickling, he adjusts to tickle lighter or harder
His only goal is to make his lee laugh as much as possible
If light tickles can achieve that? He's going in gentle!
Harder tickles get a better reaction? He's doing that instead!
He tickles everybody about the same amount, but he does get Webby pretty frequently
Keeps track of how many times he's gotten each of his friends/family throughout the week
Does respect boundaries of course, but Dewey can get carried away sometimes
The triplets have a codeword, so he usually stops as soon as they say it
Besides that, he can forget that people need to breathe
He does do his best to check in sometimes, it just might take a second for him to remember
Gets ler moods too, and typically goes to Louie for those
His little brother whines about it, but will usually accept.
If the script is flipped, however, and someone goes to Dewey with a lee mood??
Oh ho ho, he is ecstatic!!!
As soon as boundaries and limits are communicated, he is practically jumping on his lee and going crazy.
Seems like the type to pin people down to get their worst spots
Sits on legs, holds an arm up, all of that.
Teases like nobody's business!
Wiggles his fingers, slooowly inches closer to a tickle spot, and that's just the physical stuff!
With verbal teasing, he'll make little sound effects as he works, gives compliments, whatever he can think of.
Will also pretend that he's not the one tickling his lee, asking them again and again why they're laughing
"What could possibly be so funny! Unless.. you've finally realized how hilarious I am!"
LOVES to use raspberries
They always get such frantic reactions from his brothers, how could he not use them??
Will end it all with a hug and some more compliments to keep the mood light
💚 Louie 💚
Lee!! 95/5
Lee:
Okay, look at his silly little face and tell me that this kid is anything but a lee.
I only put 5% because I feel bad for him 😭/hj
No but seriously, Louie is the biggest lee of the family! No doubt about it.
He actually really likes tickling, but refuses to admit it.
His brothers know already, they see right through his facade
Gives bratty lee energy, but it is super easy to take him down a peg.
Very big squirmer, but (suspiciously enough) never tries to actually get away.
He'll arch, twist, and kick halfheartedly, and will also wrap his arms around himself though
His laugh is loud and abrupt, and always sounds hysterical and loopy
Even if less ticklish spots are being targeted, he immediately bursts out into giggles with no chance at speaking
His words just jumble together, and it sounds like he's drunk or something
Because of this, if Louie can't manage to get the duck's safe-word out, a tap on the shoulder or the leg works just the same.
Also hides his face A. LOT!!
Hides in his hoodie, or puts his hands over his face
Worst spots are probably his sides, feet, armpits, belly, and neck
Can't take being tickled for very long, he's super sensitive
Cries extremely easily too
Like, a couple scribbles to his stomach and poor Louie is shaking his head frantically, hitting at the floor with a red face and tears in his eyes
It always scares the crap out of Huey, but they've talked about it. It's just how he reacts.
Dewey is more used to it, and rarely pays any mind when his little brother turns into a living water fountain
Teasing makes this boy's face so red- He's cooked the moment a word leaves his ler's mouth.
I said before that Dewey is great at the 'Arms Up' game..
Louie is not.
He doesn't even have a proper score because he never even managed to get his arms above his head in the first place
His brothers have tried to get him to play countless times, but the very mention of tickling has his nervous system going crazy
The most he's accomplished on his own was getting them half up, with his elbows pressed to his sides
The other triplets just yank his arms up and tickle him anyways, the game long forgotten at the sound of his surprised shrieks
If you catch him by surprise, Louie will quite literally collapse
Dewey loves to clamp onto his sides when he least expects it, because his reaction is hilarious.
His knees will buckle, and he'll go falling to the floor with a screech
It always cracks his brothers up.
Gets lee moods on a weekly basis at least
It's very common for Huey to find his littlest brother acting quieter than usual, with a slightly pink face and his hands fidgeting in his pockets.
Louie is pretty much the only one embarrassed to ask for tickles, so he'll try to hide how he feels
Luckily for him, his siblings are too emotionally attentive to not realize when he's in a mood
Again, he doesn't directly ask for tickles, but Huey ends up noticing the most, while Dewey will tickle him more at random.
Can't say "tickle". It's just not in his vocabulary.
Instead, will make a face, and say:
"Uh... You know, the t-word."
When Della returned and was introduced to the family, it took a while for Louie to decide that he did want her to tickle him too
Dewey immediately took it as his mission to help, and spilled the info to their very surprised (and very touched) mom.
After that, Della made it a point to tickle her youngest whenever he wanted, and quickly picked up on some of the signs he would drop
BRO I NEED SOME LER DELLA CONTENT I SWEAR
Ler:
Not gonna lie, I can hardly see Louie as the type to tickle other people a whole lot, so apologies for this section being shorter than the rest 😅
Okay, it's not that he doesn't want to tickle people (although that usually isn't on his agenda)
Louie Duck is hopeless when it comes to being a ler
He gets so embarrassed just thinking about it that he gives up.
Cannot tease, or say tickle, or any of that
He's attempted to tickle his brothers a total of maybe 2 times, but it didn't work out
There was a time when he tried to scribble at Dewey's knee when they were watching tv
Dewey was legit so confused, because his brother had never ever done something like that, and lowkey asked if he needed something 😭
Louie played it off like he wanted the remote, but his face was so red- Dewey knew something was up
After some pointless questioning, Dewey just wrecked his shit right then and there.
----------
Okay, that's all I've got for now!! Apologies for my insane word vomit, I've been needing some content bro 🥲
Anyways, Ducktales is becoming a bigger fandom for me, so if you guys have requests, I'd be happy to write for them!

DUCKTALES '17 TAG
'Sup party people!
It's been a while since I started a tag, but I want to try again. I'll tag @not-some-background-noise @miniaturecollectionwitchofsun @godfrey-the-chaos-duck @lettheladylead, but it's free for anyone...
1) Favorite character
Webby. I love how they managed to make her a lover of adventures and mysteries without sacrificing her femininity... she is also an eternal optimist and the heart of the family, and I love how she manages to help everyone around her in unique ways
2)Favorite triplet
Huey. I love his characterization and his arc (although every triplet is well written and I love them all)
3)Favorite villain
Magica De Spell: she isn't just voiced by the most important woman in the whole wide universe (I'm a whovian who started the series because of DT, imagine how happy I was when I discovered there was also Catherine Tate), but she is also a great villainess who is genuinely good at being bad in a way that everyone is always worried she is behind everything... I also have a soft spot for Mark Beaks because he is realistic in both a funny and a scary way
4)Favorite non canon ship
Weblena: I love the way Lena got saved from Webby and at the same time she had to do some work to save herself, while Webby was always there to support her... they have a beautiful dynamic together and even if they're not officially canon, they still are (Sam King said that)
5)Favorite canon ship
Fendra... I liked them in 'The Dangerous Chemistry of Gandra Dee' and I couldn't wait to see how their relationship could evolve only to find in 'Beaks in the Shell!' the cutest and most supportive lovestory ever! We need more male sunshine/female grumpy relationship in media and they were absolutely adorable (they deserved WAY more time together, but their canon interactions kinda make up for this due to their cuteness)
6)Favorite episode
'Nightmare on Killmotor Hill', I think. It's so visually creative with all the kids' dreams and it hits you right in the feels with Lena's arc... the finale is so powerful.
7)A character you came to like the more you knew them
Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera. I didn't know Lin Manuel Miranda back when season 1 aired, but by learning more about him I came to appreciate his character more, and by the end of the series he is probably one of my favorites
8)A theory that hadn't been canonized but you believe it as canon
Scrooge was actively searching for Donald although everybody believed he was on the cruise but he didn't want to warn both the kids and his twin sister (I wrote a whole meta about it back in the day if you're curious)
9)The one question you never stop to ask about
How Selene, THE GODDESS OF THE MOON, didn't know Della, (her possible former girlfriend?), was stuck on the Moon? She has powers over it, so why did she ignore it? Was her father fault? ANGONES, DT WRITERS, EXPLAIN TO ME PLEASE, IT'S BEEN 5 YEARS I KEEP TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT!
10)What would you have liked to see in the (cancelled) fourth season?
MAGICSTONE CANON, an eventual Magica's redemption without Lena forgiveness, THE TRIPLETS DAD (I know they didn't want to explore the character in order to highlight how Donald was basically their true dad, BUT... it would have been an interesting plot), Goldie's backstory, Hortense and Quackmore, more moments between Donald and Scrooge, Daisy bonding with the family, June and May finding their own place in it, more Fendra, more domestic Scroldie, BRIGITTA (I know the writers would have handled her well just as they did with Daisy), Scrooge and Webby adjusting their dynamic as father and daughter, more lore about Fenton's dad, the kids interacting all together...
And that's it. Feel free to participate!

Inspiration has come to me sharply, therefore, here is the relationship of the Duck-McDuck family to "feminine" things and etc.
Della Duck

SHE HATES wearing skirts, dresses and makeup.
She admits that all these things are cute and all that, but the maximum that she will allow herself from the "feminine" is only long hair.
She may be interested in something, but she doesn't see herself in it.
As a child, she was often naughty and changed clothes with Donald, which is why she often got a kick in the ass, especially from the ancestors of the McDucks and grandma Duck, but in the end they resigned themselves.
She is offended that she is primarily seen as a girl, and not a pilot and/or an adventurer.
She likes to admire something feminine, but not in terms of "I want it too"
"Wow, this girl is so beautiful..." "Yeah, I wonder where she got this dress?" “what? Oh, well. Uh."
Donald Duck
As always, Donald is the complete opposite for Della and he LOVES "feminine" things.
As a child, he almost never quarreled with Della, and if she said she wanted to change clothes, then he just shrugged and changed. When McDuck's grandparents and grandmother Duck scolded Della for looking "not like a girl," he never understood why they couldn't change clothes. Grandparents McDuck and Grandma Duck stopped after he asked Hortense why they couldn't change clothes.
In the emo phase, he mastered makeup and learned how to work with hair and even had a wig!
When he got older, he realized that he was a femboy (you can also say crossdresser) and, fearing condemnation and ridicule from the family and especially Scrooge, began a double life with the name Dolores NiPato
Growing up, he began to give up his second life more often in favor of his family, arguing for himself like this: "I am already an adult man, I need to stop"
During the ten-year breakup, he wore a long skirt so that the triplet ducklings could reach out and attract his attention, but when they grew up, he stopped, fearing that he would set a bad example
Huey Duck
It's hard for me to say anything about him. Everyone remembers him as a trans girl, but I do not know my exact opinion about this, so I have two of them:
1. He is indifferent to women's things and does not mind wearing pink according to his mood. He can wear skirts and dresses, but mostly when he realizes that he is actually half-naked and in the mood. He wants to grow his hair out to see how it will look with sideburns. He can learn to wear makeup to help his brothers.
2. Transfem, but tomboy with long hair.
Dewey Duck
Like Donald, he loves women's things very much! But unlike him, the duckling is not afraid to show it, because Donald tried all the time to show him that he is normal, different, but normal
Sometimes he receives jokes from Huey and Louie in the style of "Oh, my lady, you are so beautiful today!", but often does not understand that this is a joke and is sincerely embarrassed and rejoices at the compliments, which makes his brothers feel a little awkward
Some days, she dresses up with Webby in the same clothes because it's cool and thinks it seals their union as brother and sister
He always tries to join the bachelorette party or ask Lena to teach him how to make up (for Lena it's exhausting, so she taught Huey how to make up so that he could teach Dewey)
When he was at school and wearing a skirt, he was bullied, but he could often stand up for himself and/or he was protected by Huey and Louie
When Donald was called to school because of Dewey's "inappropriate appearance", he made such a scandal that the principal was very afraid of him and the duckling sometimes compared Uncle Donald with his mother in his thoughts
He likes to show off his images and outfits in front of Della, even if they are stupid. Della loves them all. "YES! YES, BABY! THIS IS MY BOY! SHOW ME THE EMOTIONS!"
Louie Duck
He mostly doesn't care about clothes, he only wears something comfortable and/or expensive
Sometimes he may wear makeup, but he is mostly lazy
He loves different rings and bracelets, but he has almost no sense of style, so he had to be taught how to wear jewelry correctly
Will destroy your life if you say even one bad word about his femboy brother (and trans sister)
Webby Vanderquack

Just a girl🥰💕
Sincerely does not understand why pink is only for girls
She gets offended and angry when they call her "childish" because of her favorite color
Curse your soul to eternal torment in Hell for your words about Dewey and Holly (name for trans Huey)💀😈
Scrooge McDuck
Just an old man sticking to the old rules
In fact, he doesn't really care whether he wears women's clothes or men's clothes either. But fuck you with a cane if you say that kilt = skirt
Purely out of interest, he may ask about makeup or some feminine things for self-care
He can wear a skirt or a dress, he doesn't care. But he still feels embarrassed in these outfits because of his old considerations.
He doesn't even suspect that he caused Donald's injury💀

McDuck Family Members Most Likely to Start Sh*t at Thanksgiving Dinner
Ah Thanksgiving. The holiday celebrated on the 4th Thursday of November (in America that is), one with food, family, and celebrating what we’re thankful for! (Wanna feel bad? Learn about the holiday’s origins!)
And no family is quite as big as the found family from DuckTales; so arguments are bound to happen at a dinner table filled with so many zany characters with interesting pasts and quirks. Let’s honor those who would throw the first punch at a family dinner, shall we?
Bentina Beakley

I wanna cut Beakley some slack. She most likely had a long day before dinner even started what with all the preparations she did for dinner. Not just cooking for 20+ family members plus other side/recurring characters but also the cleaning and presentation
But let’s face it. This woman can be so condescending at times. And judgmental. You just know if someone is showing up to dinner wearing jeans and sweater she’d have something to say about it. And she strikes me as someone who would slam the dishes while cleaning them only for someone to say, “Hey Beakley do you need help with the dishes?” and then she’d be like “No. It’s fine. I got them”
But it’s not fine. Go help her with the dishes. She deserves a break
Dewey Duck
When I was first thinking about this list I originally thought “No way any of the triplets would start anything on Thanksgiving” Huey is a good boy and Louie would definitely take it easy on a day where you’re legally allowed to sit around, be lazy, and eat food. But then I remembered Dewey and how much of a diva he can be
We know Dewey is an entertainer and with everyone coming to dinner, he has a huge “captive” audience that he can perform for. Whether it be an original Thanksgiving song, a one man Dewey show about the first Thanksgiving, a sonnet about a bonnet, or a very special Thanksgiving episode of Dewey Dew-Night; that kid will want all the attention in him. And the very second the spotlight is taken off, oh boy…
Gladstone Gander

Look at this prick. Don’t you wanna slap his face!?!Anyway I love Gladstone Gander, but he’s the kind of family member that just would go on and on about himself and bring every conversation back to him again and how great his life is
That’s great Gladstone. Happy for you, the rest of us have to pay for our sushi but cool. Glad your good luck is really paying off, jerk
But honestly. It’s his tone. It’s the kind of tone that gives off that he knows he’s starting shit but won’t admit it
Goldie O’Gilt

I mean, it’s Goldie. What else can I say?
Gandra Dee

Oh man. There’s so many different ways controversy would start with this morally gray ex-FOWL agent and I’m here for it. Let’s face it, out of all the characters present, Gandra Dee would most likely be the one to bring up the holiday’s horrible origins. If anyone is making it their duty to make a rich white family uncomfortable on Thanksgiving, it’s Gandra Dee
She’d get political and even directly ask Scrooge who exactly he voted for in the past two Presidential elections (he claims to be progressive, but he’s still the richest duck in the world. Just how many tax cuts is this man getting to keep that status?)
Oh and what about the treatment of her overwork and underpaid boyfriend? Why is he still working in the bathroom?
Oddly enough, I can see her and Scrooge bonding over a mutual disdain for Gladstone Gander. What a prick
Kit Cloudkicker

It’s not that exactly what Kit does that’ll start a fight, but what he doesn’t do.
Kit is the kinda guy that was supposed to bring a dessert but totally forgot to pick something up from the bakery so instead he’s stopping at the gas station on the way to dinner to pick up some Twinkies
Kit is the kinda guy that would “take a walk” before dinner and not do anything to hide the scent and now all the kids are wondering how a skunk got inside
Gyro Gearloose

It’s Gyro. Something is bound to piss him off at some point
Doofus Drake

I am so tired of the fandom not including Doofus in this found family (Louie and him made up and are friends now and BOYD is his brother, sorry it’s canon) so he’s here on the list
But he’s still a new addition to this family. And a weirdo and a rich brat with a lot of issues that someone should seriously help him with. He’s gonna make everyone uncomfortable. Is it intentional? Or is he just being Doofus? Who knows
What I do know is this, don’t eat the dish he brought.
Della, Donald, and Scrooge!
The original three!
These three are responsible for splitting up the family in the first place so it’s no surprise that they’re number one on this list!!
Yes they’ve squashed their beef with one another and moved past the Spear of Selene, but they are still themselves
The ones most likely to start shit over the dumbest things
These three are going to be bickering over who should carve the turkey. And the argument will be so loud and hectic that no one will question why a bunch of birds are eating a turkey
Anyway, hope you enjoyed this list. It wasn’t meant to slander any characters, just did it for fun. Happy Thursday everyone.

"Smarter than the Smarties, Tougher than the Toughies, Sharper than the Sharpies."
Title: Who They Are
Link
Alternative to ao3:
Huey was smart. He could read faster than anyone he knew and solve the most complex equations in seconds. He understood every formula Scrooge's R&D team could throw at him and could tell you what country was where without even looking at a map. His whole life, he had prided himself on being smart. So much so that at times it felt like it was his defining characteristic, the only thing he brought to the table. He wasn't strong or clever, but he was smart. And he knew how much everyone depended on him for that- how they looked to him when they didn't know something, how they expected him to be the one to provide exposition when they were going somewhere new. He couldn't let them down.
More than that, he liked being the smart one. If he was the smart one he never needed to worry about the unknown, because he could always figure it out. Things like uncertainty and anxiety could never weigh him down, because he could rationalize anything. He was dependable, he was respected.
No matter what life threw at him, he could bounce back and do it with a list of reasons why that situation would be good for him in the long run. Huey Duck relied on his brain, and that was what made him who he was.
______________________________________________________________
Dewey was tough. He bounced back faster than anyone after an adventure and took down elementary school bullies before he was even 5. He threw himself into danger without a second thought and kept fighting even when the whole world was against him. His whole life, he had prided himself on being tough. So much so that at times it felt like it was his defining trait, the only thing he brought to the table. He wasn't intelligent or clever, but he was tough. And he knew how much everyone depended on him for that- how they looked to him when there was a dangerous situation, how they expected him to defend them against the bad guys. He couldn't let them down.
More than that, he liked being the tough one. If he was the tough one he never needed to think of how chaotic his life had gotten, because he thrived in chaos. Things like insecurity and carelessness never held him back, because he could force his way through anything. He was resilient, he was admired.
No matter what came his way, he would come out on top and do it with a smile on his face. Dewey Duck relied on his fists, and that was what made him who he was.
______________________________________________________________
Louie was sharp. He figured out intentions in the blink of an eye and picked up on things even Scrooge missed. He could see how someone was feeling better than they could and read a room like nobody's business. His whole life, he had prided himself on being sharp. So much so that at times it felt like it was his defining trait, the only thing he brought to the table. He wasn't intelligent or strong, but he was sharp. And he knew how much everyone depended on him for that- how they looked to him when someone new was poking around, how they expected him to figure out all the traps. He couldn't let them down.
More than that, he liked being the sharp one. If he was the sharp one he never needed to stress out on adventures, because he knew how they ended. Things like fear and vulnerability were ultimately brushed off, because he could talk his way out of anything. He was perceptive, he was accepted.
No matter what troubles he faced, he would beat them back and do it with a scathing retort. Louie Duck relied on his words, and that was what made him who he was.
______________________________________________________________
But see, you needed all three in order to be a good team. Each of them had their strengths, and each of them had their weaknesses. They covered each other. Supplemented each other. Made the triplets the cohesive unit they were.
Without Huey's resourcefulness Dewey and Louie would get in over their heads. Without Dewey's boldness Huey and Louie would overthink everything. Without Louie's shrewdness Huey and Dewey would fall for every sob story they heard. Dewey and Louie made sure Huey didn't neglect his feelings in favor of logic. Huey and Louie made sure Dewey didn't push past things without actually dealing with them. Huey and Dewey made sure Louie didn't spend so much time in his head that he couldn't get out.
They saw each other, better than anyone else did, and that was why they always chose each other to pair up with.

My thoughts on DuckTales (2017):
(so far as of season 2 episode 18)
(this might include some inside jokes I have with @diamondblueorchid)
DuckTales is pretty neat.
I'm really enjoying it so far, the writing is surprising me.
So far my favorite characters are (in order):
Webby, Lena, Della, scrooge, Violet, Fenton, Donald and huey (oh and Boyd but I'll get to him later)
Webby: I love Webby. I love her un breakable spirit, her passion for friendship, her love of her new found family, I love the fact that she's a epistemophile (Someone who has an intense love of learning). I love that she's two seconds away from a brain aneurysm. Webby kinda reminds me a lot of season 1 luz. I love her energy. Webby is practically refreshing in hindsight. I love that she cares, not just about learning, but about her friends. About her family. I love how forward she is. Webby is my number one favourite. Sure shes a lil goofy, she's a lil cringe but hey! She's 12! All 12 year old girls are cringe. But that just makes her better.
Lena: Lena is by FAR refreshing. She's kind of like sunset (post rainbow rocks) I love Lena, I love that she got jealous over Violet but now the three of them are friends. I know shes probably not but, Lena is a total lesbian; (i know I joke about it but the way Lena seems to look at Webby-) I love the fact that Lena is protective, wanting to keep the new friends (and potential family) safe. Lena, they could never make me hate you.
Della: I LOVE Della, I love just how crazy she is (though it's probably from all the time she spent on the moon) I love that she has no impulse control, I love that you can see EXACTLY how she's the mother of her boys. I love her relationship with Donald and scrooge. Della is everything in every right direction. Della is a bullseye in every right direction. Della is impulsive, only for the fact that that's all she could do, spending nearly a decade on the moon- (also guys: she figured out how to fix a rocket BY HERSELF?? Della is INCREDIBLY smart, not only did she have to figure out/learn how to fix her own rocket but also learned ACTUAL rocket science!!!, she also learned how to smelt gold????) she gained friendship (through penny) on the moon and was able to achieve what she wanted (to go home and see her kids)
Scrooge: what can you say about the man himself that no one else hasn't already said before? I love how stubborn he is, he's so head strong. He loves his family (if he may not show it at times) hes adventurous and strategic when he needs/wants to be. (He's also voiced by David tennet which: is always gonna add up to my favourite character list) There's not much else to say (aside from a few notes which I'll add later)
Violet: I adore violet, I adore this lil hummingbird! Who ever decided that adding Wednesday's birdsona to DuckTales was a good idea: I hope you got a promotion! Adding violet was a good idea! I've only had her for a like two episodes, I'll come back when I've finished the series to add more notes on her.
Fenton: ahh Fenton. I love this absolute dork. I love that he's essentially duckbergs ironman. I love his mom. I love that he's awkward and clumsy, I love his stupid lil catchphrase. I'm really glad they added Fenton. I'm glad they made Fenton who he is. There's no one better for the role of gizmo duck than him.
Donald: I love Donald. Always have. Always will. Not much to say except for a few notes (there's gonna be A LOT of character notes I'll add at the end, their more of "writing critics" than anything but nothing major)
Huey: Huey is my favorite triplet. I love that he's cautious, I love that he's very "play-by-the-rules" I love the fact that he's just a huge dork. Maybe I'm just partial to characters who wear red hats ( ;3) I love that he tries hard to bond with his mom (even though he might not understand sometimes) I love that he may-be autistic. I love this kid.
Boyd: I LOVE THIS SWEET BABY!!!! AHHHHH!! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM: THE FACT THAT HES JUST ASTRO BOY, THE FACT THAT HES VOICED BY GUMBALL (which is why I'll be referring to him as gumball from now on)
(some honorable mentions:
Launchpad, I love this dumbass himbo and his new boyfriend.)
Drake is also included here even though he's only been in one episode. Note: I totally get it now)
-
Okay now for some mediocre characters:
So for this to make sense:
I have a thing where: if an actor has played one character and then voice another it's practically the same character. Example:
Dewey: Dewey is voiced by Ben shwartz (also known for playing Leo and Sonic) so to me (as a joke) I refer to Dewey as "Leo"
As for character notes: he's an adrenaline junkie, he gets it from his mom. He's the more tolerable one on this list.
*
Louie: Louie is....okay, I like his relationship with scrooge (he DEFINITELY learned his lesson after all those stairs XD) I like his relationship (so far) with Goldie, the fact that it's just a kid and his Grama. But I don't understand the ship (IYKYK) maybe outside of aesthetics but I really don't get it. I can see them being mutual friends but I just don't see the ship (not to drag wakkouie shippers, I just don't understand)
*
Gyro: gyro is.... Definitely not a character I expected to like, he's not bad. I don't hate him. He's just a massive dork (derogatory)
*
Glumgold: *hysterical laughing* HES SO FUCKING STUPID!!!! I LOVE HOW COMICALLY EVIL HE IS!!! HOLY SHIT.!!!
*
Penumbra: she's making her way there, her saving (attempting to anyway) Donald was so cool.
Sylens is also cool I guess, hate that he's evil.
-
Now for the ones I hate:
Mark beaks: OH MY GOD. I FUCKING HATE THIS MAN!!! JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. no but seriously. I fucking hate this man. He's a dweeb, he's a self centered jerk with no mind of manners, he's a cry baby- I REALLY just wanna see him get his ass kicked. Sooooo badly.
*
Magika de spell: no. This is JUST Stella (yes that Stella) this is just Stella if she were actually smart: she's conniving and evil- (that one scene during shadow war (IYKYK) was very- she's like the scariest dominatrix written. Also- how did you manage to fumble up your OWN evil speech YOU wrote IN A FUCKING DIME!?
-
Okay now for the character/writing notes:
So this show has just one small problem:
The way scrooge and donald are written.
Scrooge is written like he's meant to be Della and Donald's father (which to my knowledge is TECHNICALLY true because his sister???? Left them on his door step, leaving scrooge to raise them, this was made to my attention by @diamondblueorchid )
But the way Della and scrooge first saw each other when she returned- that was a look only a father could give his long lost daughter.
If Della HADNT returned (or if we hadn't learned she was stuck in the moon) I would've totally been okay with Donald being the triplets dad (he even says "those are MY kids" at one point)
Point is: scrooge shouldve been written as Della and Donald's father. It's a simple quirk of language that if he were written like that or if you changed it from "uncle" to either "father" or "hello dad" it totally would've made just AS MUCH sense.
*shrugs*
Also. Shadow war made me cry.
-
One more thing: bleakly is fucking peak. I love her. Best grandma
-
Anyway. This was my half baked "review" on DuckTales so far! :3 I'm gonna keep watching.
I'll update this review when I finish the series.
I just had to put my thoughts down somewhere.
Anyway folks!
Good luck my lil bugs, geese and other marcupiels

Donald and Daisy with their kids (Huey, Dewey and Louie and April, May and June Duck) celebrate Easter - Disneyland Easter Celebration and Easter Costumes - Happy Birthday to Huey, Dewey and Louie - Duck comics and Duckverse
Happy Easter to everyone and if someone asks me, I know that it has passed, but Easter is not celebrated only on one day, but depending on the calendar it can be celebrated twice (Gregorian and Julian calendar), and it is usually celebrated when Jewish Passover and Muslim Ramadan Eid in progress.
As you know, Easter is celebrated because on that day Jesus Christ, after the third day since he died on the cross, was resurrected from the dead and proved that there is life after death, only faith is needed for that (whoever believes, let someone believe) and most Christians celebrate it, although it depends on the calendar when exactly it is celebrated. And usually the symbols are decorated colored eggs (especially red), chicks hatching from eggs, also ducks, as well as Easter bunnies that bring gifts for good children. I'm not a fan of Disneyland, nor am I a fanatic, although Disneyland in Tokyo in Japan makes good events, including for Easter when the mascots dress up in Easter costumes.
Yes, as inspired by the images from Disneyland Tokyo I drew Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck (Donald's nephews) as well as April, May and June Duck (Daisy's nieces-the Dutch comic version of Donald Duck) in Easter costumes, with the fact that I added costumes for Daisy's nieces in my own way. I did a redraw from an actual representation of the triplets mascots from Disneyland holding the Easter eggs they made and carrying them over their heads. Unless they break it. Just like their uncle Donald, Daisy and her nieces also lay eggs, as well as keep the chicks that hatched from the eggs, as well as the Easter bunny. I drew mostly in my own way.
I hope you like this drawing and this idea and feel free to like and reblog this, just please don't copy my same ideas without mentioning me! Thank you! Also, happy birthday to Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, who celebrate on April 15th! Happy birthday to them, the best trio! And happy Easter to everyone!
And yes, this is a gift for my friend, dear @boingodigitalart , who is a Disneyland fan and I hope you like this. Happy late Easter!

So, I just finished watching Ducktales 2017. What a gem! But of course my brain did its thing and now I’m imagining all possible post-canon fanfics.
Specifically all the potential Percy Jackson crossovers! Or, should we say Percy “Quackson”?
My main concept is linked to a mystery the characters never address. Which is quite surprising if you think about it. Especially since Webby has dedicated most of her young life to mapping out the Duck’s entire family tree. But Huey Dewey and Louie wanted desperately to know what happened to their mom, yet they’ve never expressed any interest in who their father is.
Now that doesn’t have to be all that weird. I imagine the boys grew up not knowing much about their mom aside from little nuggets Donald would tell them, like; “oh your mother loved this dish” or “your mother actually wrote this lullaby I’ve always been singing to you”. Just enough for them to be curious about her, but they probably realized it made their uncle sad to think about her, effectively stopping them from asking about her. (Though I imagine Donald would have answered many of their questions about Della without hesitation, like how she was as a person.)
When it comes to their father, Donald might not actually know who their father is. They might be the result of a one night stand? I’d say it’s actually quite likely since Della never mentions an ex or anything about her love life for that matter. Maybe Donald never asked in case Della herself didn’t know? It does seem like she was always the wild child of the two. That’s all fine, but it means Donald had no way of dropping lore about him in the same way he probably did about their mom. Actually, forget what I said earlier. Donald did not know who their father was. Had he known, he would have made sure the boys knew him. Because Donald is a good parent.
That said, the boys knew nothing about their dad. But they didn’t lack a father figure. Paired with the previously mentioned point, it makes perfect sense why the boys would not feel the need to know about their father. Unlike with their mother, they never had to feel like they were missing out on having a dad. Donald filled that role. He never calls himself their dad, but he does refer to them as his boys (I’m actually sure Daisy was mentally preparing herself to having to be a stepmother in those vents). And the boys clearly admires him and look up to him, the season one finale clearly shows it. Almost to the point of rubbing it in our faces.😅
So even if the boys were to find out who their father is, it might now be that big of a deal to them.
Huey, Dewey or Louie: Oh, okay, cool. Uncle Donald is still our main father figure, so, yeah, that role’s been filled. Nice meeting you, though.
That said, WE can still be curious though.
And the absence of any clues whatsoever practically gives us free rein to speculate!
Now since I talked about a Percy Jackson crossover, and I’m writing it on this side blog, you probably saw where this was headed.
I suggest that Huey Dewey and Louie are demigods!
Both the Greek and Norse pantheon are real in the Ducktales universe. (Though the liberties taken with the portrayal of Norse mythology are almost offensive in my opinion. Jörmungand is the enemy of the warriors in Valhalla, dam it! He’d never be seen as the underdog man of the people there!) And though we only ever see three Greek gods, we do know many other gods took a liking to the ducks. That’s what Zeus was so jealous of Scrooge for, after all. So it’d be pretty safe to assume that if the boys are demigods, they’re Greek.
Now in this adaptation, the triplets have distinctly different personalities, as opposed to earlier adaptations. That might lead to a possibility of them having different gods as fathers. There are examples of twins with different fathers in mythology. And it might feel a bit easier to match each triplet with his own godly parent.
But… I know a candidate who would fit as the father of all three, and, who I can definitely see falling in Love with Della Duck.
My friends, I suggest, the father of Huey, Dewey and Louie is none other than…
Hermes, Messenger of the gods!
Hermes is also a trickster figure and the patron god of travelers, thieves and anyone who uses the roads really. He isn’t picky about who he sponsors.
Apollo also drops hints about his personality in ToA. That he is a bit adventurous and a wild child.
You can’t tell me Hermes and Della wouldn’t be somewhat each other’s type. They could definitely be seeing each other at least for long enough to create a child, or three.
Additional to being a trickster and a messenger, Hermes is also a god of commerce. These aspects could very well be seen in Louie, who sees all the angles, defeats his opponents by out witting them, and strives to be as rich and successful as his Uncle Scrooge. Though preferably with less hard work and more witty poker strategies.
As previously mentioned, both Hermes and Della are adventurous and the wild child of their respective sibling groups. It should therefore not be a surprise that at least one of their children would be the same. Dewey is the adventurous triplet, and seems to have decided to follow in his mother’s footsteps and become a pilot. He could have gotten his wild attitude from both of his parents, or just one. He is also a bit of a theater kid. He loves to dance and, sort of, has his own talk show. That’s not a clear link to Hermes, but considering he invented two instruments as an infant, one of which became the characteristic lyre his brother uses to play, and is sometimes considered as a minor poetry god besides Apollo, I still think Dewey could have gotten the theatre side from Hermes.
Huey is not as easy. Hermes is neither the god of wisdom nor knowledge. Those domains falls to Athena and Apollo respectively. And Huey’s most prominent character trait is his per suit of knowledge. But I look at his hobbies. He functions as a sort of unofficial sidekick for Gizmoduck. Hermes often act as a travel companion for Zeus when he wanders the earth, and as the messenger of the gods he often assist other gods. Assisting others with tough situations is something all triplets do throughout the series. Also Huey is a junior Woodchuck. Don’t you think the god of travelers would encourage you to learn more about survival in the wild? Hermes is also a god of linguistics and in some cases acts as a mediator between other gods, and can sometimes choose not to fight an opponent he’s expected to fight, showing some levelheaded behavior and certain intelligence, which could be where Huey could get his brains.
But aside from Della and the triplets’ personalities, there’s another piece of evidence. Because we know of at least one instance where one of the triplets has interacted with Hermes.
In season 2 episode 11, Dewey has stolen Hermes’ winged shoes.

But Hermes is the god of thieves, remember? Do you really think he wouldn’t notice a kid was about to steal his stuff?
No way.
It’s my theory that Hermes has either known from the start that he and Della had triplets, or he saw the kids that were obviously Della’s during one of their trips to Ithaquack (is that how it’s spelled?) and simply but two and two together. So when one of them tried to take his shoes, he simply figured he’d let his son have some fun with them. The next time we see Dewey, he no longer has the shoes but he’s completely fine, no harm done.
I imagine Hermes might have appeared off camera and been like; “Hey, I’m glad you had fun with the shoes, but we shouldn’t risk your life by angering Zeus. I’ll take them back and next time you can ask and I’ll supervise.”
I don’t think he’d have told Dewey who he was to him, because a god for a father would become a big deal to the triplets once they found out. And Dewey would probably not repeat the same mistake again by withholding information about their parentage.
So that’s my headcanon. Huey Dewey and Louie are demigod sons of Hermes.
A post-canon crossover fic could therefore feature a satyr taking the boys to Camp Half Blood and learn sword fighting from “Percy Quackson”. How their relationship with their father would then look like once they’re claimed could be up for interpretation. Personally, I’d like to think that between Percy’s trust that gods can change for the better if they want to, and Apollo doing exactly that, Hermes is inspired to become a more present parent to his kids at camp. So if you want to be wholesome, Hermes basically becomes part of the McDuck family through his sons.
But hey, that’s just a theory!
Feel free to share your thoughts about this!🤗

DuckTales THEORY: Team Who?
Hello Duckblr! We know that in DuckTales 2017, Huey, Dewey and Webby have their own definite cliques, but what if this idea were to extend to each of the six Duck children in hypothetical future seasons?
TLDR: If DuckTales kept going on, we would have seen more Louie/Doofus/Goldie episodes. May's interrogative side can blend her in with the Rescue Rangers.
Team Science (Huey)
Huey's group of allies usually revolves around working on scientific breakthroughs and his hero, Gizmoduck. Huey stories would usually involve these specific characters:
Gyro Gearloose
Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (Gizmoduck)
Manny
BOYD
Gandra Dee
Huey's enemy is usually Mark Beaks, a businessman who makes his living off dumb and/or stolen ideas, which is totally against his moral code. If executed better, Dr. Akita could make a better contender.
Team Action (Dewey)
Dewey's group of allies usually revolves around getting into dangerous situations, definitely not due to the influence of Launchpad or his very own mother, Della. Dewey stories would usually involve these specific protagonists:
Launchpad McQuack
Della Duck
Drake Mallard (DW)
Gosalyn Waddlemeyer (an extension of DW)
Kit and Molly
Dewey's enemy is usually Don Karnage, a deranged air pilot who will go to any lengths to gain vengeance on him. Falcon Graves has also appeared in Dewey stories, a serious contender for his showboating.
Team Scheme (Louie)
Despite being shown to be a charmer in the show, Louie falls flat when it comes to making secure friends, especially when it's in his nature that he is the 'evil triplet' of the Duck boys. However, the cunning antihero, Goldie O'Gilt is quite fond of him. Louie stories would definitely involve these specific characters:
Goldie O'Gilt
Doofus Drake
Ottoman Brothers (placeholder because they're always in the background of Louie stories)
Although Louie completely destroyed Glomgold in S2, I'd love to see Rockerduck as his enemy, as the Wild West Swindler has a more interesting way to battle - with his words, instead of his fists.
Team Magic (Webby/April)
Webby's group of allies usually revolves around trying to fix the curses laid out from Scrooge's adventures, or his most powerful enemy, Magica De Spell. Webby stories would usually involve these specific characters:
Lena Sabrewing
Violet Sabrewing
Blackarts Beagle (redemption arc??)
Phantom Blot and Pepper (maybe they're forced to team-up??)
Morgana (placeholder because they don't have a grown-up hero)
Webby and Lena's enemy is usually Magica De Spell, a witch who wants to use her powers to abuse and take advantage of others, completely opposite to how Webby wants to play.
Team Mystery (May)
Despite the wishes of her current guardian, Donald Duck, I could see May get into contact with her ilk, also experimented on by FOWL - no other than the Rescue Rangers themselves!
Chip and Dale
Gadget Hackwrench
Monterey Jack
Zipper
...and maybe Detective Gokart from the comics (a loser that May could help to become a better person)
Perhaps the Rescue Rangers have found a larger FOWL experiment gone rogue and they need a heroine around their size to help bring the experiment to justice.
Team ??? (June)
Team Sports? Team Wellbeing? Team Theatre? Team Adorable? It seems that poor June is the only one I can't think of for a team.
By process of elimination, the only frequent group of protagonists without a child character to support them are the gods/goddesses of Ithaquack.
Bum Bum Ghigno, an everyday person from the comics might help her appreciate the normal and might draw parallels between the clone twins and his relationship with his brother.
I'd love to put the Idle Hour Club from Donald's first ever cartoon somewhere, but those stories wouldn't be fun.

DT: Our Timeless Story Meet Sousuke!
Since I had begun to create my story project how about I introduce you to the OC character of mine Sousuke! Part of the main cast of my story DuckTales: Our Timeless Story, he's in for one exciting adventure!
(As stated I'm mainly a writer not an artist, this is the best I can do)
Anyways, meet Sousuke Yukimura! A teenage akita who is around 14 to 15 years old and is a classmate of the triplets, Sousuke had only been in Duckburg for around three years after he tragically lost his father on a boating trip with his family... RIP. Sousuke here had ever since been living with his uncle Hachiko, a creative writing teacher and a top novelist who created many stories that enraptured the hearts of its readers, especially with his "Devil in your Heart" series. Wanting to become an exceptional writer much like his uncle, Sousuke wishes to feel inspired to make a story that will be breathtaking!
That being said every character does indeed need their flaws and for Sousuke... Well... His flaw is the dreaded crutch that has been holding him back ever since he lost his father... Anxiety. Struggling to cope with his anxiety, Sousuke finds that some days he can't even do so much as get out of bed without a feeling of terror flooding through his body, confrontations with bullies may even leave him unable to speak or act. His anxiety is bad, but he still tries to cope with the feeling every day.
Sousuke here came from a wealthy family who run Yukimura Pharmaceuticals, a multi billionaire company who specializes in medicine, robotics, banking, security, and oddly enough the creation of toys for kids. Being the youngest son, Sousuke has four elder siblings, Kaede, Hibiki, Takumi, and Ryuji, and two cousins, Kotaro and Yuna, but they all are sorta all over the place, especially ever since their father had passed. With their mom now wasting their family fortune on art auctions, parties, and sadly alcohol, Sousuke couldn't take the stress of being there, especially since his mother blames him for the death of his own father, hence why he had decided to move in with his uncle, without so much as a word to his siblings. (His father died of a poor heart while trying to save Sousuke from drowning.) The only person he had told about him leaving was their family butler and their son Virgil.
Living in Duckburg sure has been interesting to say the least, it's much more livelier than his home back in Critter Cove and definitely more chaotic, but seems his life here is gonna be much more hectic. Cue Clan McDuck! With the duck triplets now invading his life, Sousuke tries his best to adjust to having them as friends. So when he and Louie discover the journal that leads to the Lost Collection pieces, it's become Sousuke's goal to write the tales of these artifacts in order to give them the proper story they so deserve, to honor those who had disappeared.
Relationships:
Huey - Sousuke honestly gets along well with Huey, since Sousuke is a writer I envision him going to Huey for his personal take of things, kinda like how a writer and editor collaborate to make a story. Sousuke is also an honor's student much like Huey so academically they are great together.
Dewey - While Sousuke finds Dewey's antics to be tiresome, he actually enjoys how passionate Dewey is towards the drama club, it also helps since the akita has been writing the scripts for it. Dewey has a tendency to cause the poor guy's anxiety to spike the most, but he does try his best to push Sousuke to take his anxiety head on.
Louie - To Sousuke, Louie is his best friend! Sure Louie has a tendency to get into trouble with his cons but Sousuke finds it surprisingly fun when he's around the green-clad duck. Sousuke feels for Louie who has been feeling extremely out of place within his own family and school, especially since Sousuke had felt the same way after his parents death... Trauma buddies, yay.
Webby - Yeah... You know how Dewey spikes his anxiety? Webby is the one who accidentally scares him into having an attack. Sure he likes Webby as a friend but frankly its taking a lot to get used to her. Sousuke is an introvert so having an extreme extrovert around him is a little daunting to say the least, doesn't help he finds her research on Clan McDuck and all its friends, allies, and enemies to be concerning...
Scrooge - Sousuke has no words to say about Scrooge McDuck, he simple admires his adventurous spirit, but when the older duck goes on about his adventures and his history, Sousuke becomes enthralled by the stories he tells.
Donald - To Sousuke, Donald is quite frankly much like his own uncle Hachiko, being kind and caring much like a parental figure he can absolutely adore. However, Sousuke has a talent for reading in between the lines, he can sense there are secrets Donald is hiding but he doesn't feel its necessary to push him into revealing them. Donald has even offered to teach Sousuke how to cook and bake on occasion.
Della - Oh boy... Yeah she is much like Dewey in being a root cause to spiking his anxiety, but Sousuke has his own gripes with Della as a person. Sure he knows Della is trying to be a good mother for the triplets but he feels like she is missing the point from time to time... Especially after he heard the story of how she pretty much abandoned her week old eggs to go on a joyride into space...
Beakley - To Sousuke, Beakley is much like his butler back home, hardworking and outspoken, hence why he can feel fully relaxed around her as she reminds him much of him, especially since she was a former spy while his butler was a former marine officer.
Launchpad - Yeah Sousuke quite enjoys the big loveable lug, but feels like his gullibility make him a perfect target for people who want to take advantage of him. When Sousuke ain't worrying about crashing while hitching a ride with Launchpad he is often enjoying the big guy's passion about DarkWing Duck. It's also clear to Sousuke he has a huge crush on Drake. Hehehe.
April, May, and June - The college girls absolutely adore Sousuke, finding him too cute due to his tendency to be shy around people, but Sousuke too seems to enjoy their company. Sousuke especially enjoys hearing their stories from the time they adventured with Donald, Jose, and Panchito.
Jose - Just as Donald is much like a parent to Sousuke, Jose is a parent and mentor figure who Sousuke feels comfortable with. Sure Sousuke doesn't have game like Jose does, but he finds the parrot's sense of wonder and desire to see the world exciting. Sousuke is also taking up lessons in illustration from him.
Panchito - If Jose and Donald are like parental figures he can enjoy, Panchito is like that fun uncle who gets you excited the moment he walks on through that door! Unlike Dewey's antics, Panchito's has that whimsical edge that frankly makes Sousuke feel enamored. He's definitely enjoying helping Panchito in the garden.
Zeca & Zico - Ah yes the twins, where to begin... Sousuke adores them. He pretty much treats them like they are his very own brothers, with Zeca's lively and sporty energy and Zico's chill and flirtatious mannerisms, Sousuke feels like he was back home listening to his own cousin (Kotaro) and brother (Ryuji) again. Though he admits their pranks can be a bit much...
Lena & Violet - To Sousuke he finds the idea of magic to be amazing, so to learn that it actually exists is breathtaking. When it comes to writing about magic, Sousuke frankly comes to Violet and Lena when he needs a guide, he also frankly enjoys hanging out with them.
Other facts:
Sousuke is a lover of all things horror, so if you invite him to a horror movie or offer him a horror story to read, he'd be on it in a heartbeat.
Sousuke used to live in Critter Cove a town a bit down south from Duckburg. It's not a city town but its more of a homier locale. He used to be friends with a bunch of kids there before he chose to move to Duckburg. His friend group came to call him "Angel" as a nickname due to how sweet he was.
Sousuke used to crush on his best friend, a doberman boy named Hunter, but when Hunter all of a sudden stopped hanging around him, their relationship had been strained... Doesn't help he learned Hunter moved to Duckburg after their school got blown up accidentally by a crashed plane... (Wonder who was responsible for that?)
Calling Sousuke fat is a death sentence. The akita does his best to exercise, back when he was younger he was a chubby kid who got picked on by a lot of folks.
Sousuke has a bad habit of staying up all night writing. He has a blog where he posts webnovels and short stories... The day the triplets found out about his habit they had taken up watch to get him to sleep on time.
Sousuke often finds himself home alone because his uncle would take trips around the world in order to get inspiration for his next story. To this end he'd either crash at a classmate's place or stay home alone.
Sousuke is pansexual! He doesn't care for gender, he primarily loves people for their personalities. (Funfact. I originally forgot the pansexual flag colors and made the stripes on his hoodie purely aesthetic, so when a friend pointed it out to me I was like... Yeah let's roll with it!)
And that is Sousuke! He was one of my oldest characters whom had gone through countless reworks over the years, but now I think he's hit his final design.
As always Asks are open! If you have questions about the story project and the AU, feel free!

Ok, so my anxiety really did not allow me to get this out earlier lol. Anyway:
TS songs as Ducktales Characters, part III: Webby Vanderquack

(I would like to apologize beforehand for the poor redaction you're about to read, neither google translation nor my brain was having it)
If I had to explain Webby's character, I would sum it up with the concept of belonging. Having grown up isolated from the world, only with her granny, Webby needs connection with someone. She needs to belong or connect so much that she becomes obsessed with every detail of the life of the only person she knows, Uncle Scrooge, in the hopes she finds her place in the McDuck family. But, even when she starts to become family, she envies the triplets' relationship for she cannot be part of such intimate bond. She then clings to Lena, the only relationship she formed on her own.
Webby also gives the impression that her desire for an intimate relationship is the reason she supports Dewey despite not agreeing with keeping the investigation about Della hidden: it is something that unites them both in an exclusive way. It would also help her even more to be part of the family: if she gets to be just like Scrooge, then she MUST belong to his family. All for at the end being cruelly reminded that she'll never be family by blood, and, even if she was, family relationships are not unbreakable (speaking exclusively from her point of view at the end of Last Crash). This is why she needs to bring the family together at the end of season 1: she has done so much to form a relationship with the family, but if the family isn't together then she doesn't belong anywhere.
On a separate point, it is this sense of belonging that she has with the family that leads her to give so much importance to her friends and gives them her complete trust. It is friendship that allows her to have a family and therefore makes no difference between family ties and friendships. Hence her blind attachment to Lena.
Season 2, although Webby doesn't have an active role, is consistent with the former idea in Golden Armory: again she needs to prove herself as an equal to the new family member to feel validated. However, after Last Crash she is never again pushed away or questioned as family and her belonging is reinforced again and again, as seen in Found Lamp, where Uncle Scrooge trusts her with an essential part of the adventure, the same goes for Rumble for Ragnarok.
I don't remember much (and I don't have anywhere to rewatch the series at the moment) about her role in season 3 outside the plot twist that I so dislike (and that in my opinion ruins the message of found family and makes her entire development seem pointless), but I do remember that her fear of abandonment is consistent for Fight for Castle McDuck.
Anyway, all this to say that the Taylor Swift song that would be Webby's anthem, in my opinion, would be The Outside.
I've seen other people relate her to Seven or You're on your own, Kid, and although Seven agrees with the idea of longing childhood innocence once it's lost by the maturity that comes with experience (as seen in Harp of Mervana), the lyrics of The Outside expand the idea of loneliness and feeling like you don't belong anywhere, as well as learning to observe people to look for ways to connect. The song was written about going to school and meeting all these new people and realizing that you won't connect with them and will end up isolated, no matter how much you can offer to a friendship. Just as Webby would never be blood related to the Duck/McDuck family, even though she began to relate to them at the same time they reconnected and her fear of the family pushing her aside eventually.
"The Outside"
youtube
So how can I ever try to be better? Nobody ever lets me in. And I can still see you, this ain't the best view: on the outside, lookin' in. I've been a lot of lonely places; I've never been on the outside.
Thank you for reading. Next one should be Huey, but who knows what will come out of that (ゝω・)ノ

So, Ducktales x Cult of the Lamb, am I right?
Ok it's not actually a Ducktales x Cult of the Lamb au, it's more of a weird Mickey and friends Cult of the Lamb au, but it mostly focuses on the duck triplets.
(Huey, Dewey, and Louie)
I, sadly, don't have a whole lot of art for this au yet mostly cause i'm still figuring out how to draw all the characters, so bare with me cause this is gonna be a long text post until I have art I can/am willing to share.
TLDR;
Cult of the Lamb au but make it Ducktales/Mickey and friends because i've been watching Ducktales and recently got back into Cult of the Lamb again. I'll mostly be focusing on Louie for this au sense I have the best grasp on his character as of right now, but others will show up.
Sense Louie is the main focus, Louie with be the one taking on the role of The Lamb for this au, meaning he will bare the crown.
(But that doesn't mean I haven't thought about the "what if" of if Huey or Dewey got it instead.)
Cult of the Duck
So, before I really get to this I need to explain one very important detail:
All the ducks? Yea, they're dead. All expect Louie of course. (or one of the other triplets but we'll get to that later). This, of course, means Donald, Della, Scrooge, his brothers, and frankly and other duck within the series are, well, gone.
Like the lamb, Louie as the last of his kind. There are no other ducks. He has no one to protect him, and no one to protect. He is completely and utterly alone.
So when he's sent to be sacrificed in order to prevent the "prophecy", there was not much he could do. Sure, it was absolutely terrifying! No one wants to be sacrificed, and he was damn well sure that "prophecy" was bogus!
"Come closer, little duckling, for I still need you. I will grant you back your life, in return, I ask for a cult in my name. Do we have a deal?"
But as he looked up to the Bishops, gods amongst the people, those who always knew what was right, those who should not be questioned, as all he could do was bow his head and squeeze his eyes tight, hearing his heart beat agents his ribs as he prayed.
But when no pain had arrived, curiosity got the best of him as he opened his eyes and looked up. It was so bright.
Something beckoned him forward, and he followed. A voice gently assured to him as he made his way forward.
And with new found life, Louie escapes with the help of one of Oswald's children, a previous vessel to The One Who Waits.
And the story continues as per usual from there with one of Oswald's kids taking the place of Ratau (at least until I think of someone better). The first follower to be saved by Louie would be Max, who after this point is pretty darn loyal.
Louie, at first, is pretty upset about having to work and build the cult in the first place. He wasn't used to doing so much hard work, nor did he enjoy it very much. But, it was better then basically every thing else he'd been through, so he'd learn to tolerate it.
After some time of going on crusades (which, frankly, he hates more), he'd get a pretty good flow going between growing the cult and relaxation. He'd upgrade quickly, recruit (or as he'd call it; "Sweet talk") people, and find ways to make it so everyone could care for themselves so he'd have more time to relax.
Occasionally he'd go on crusades, but only if he absolutely needed to. (Food, supplies, gold, stuff like that.) He'd avoid the Bishops as long as he physically could, only caving when he didn't have a choice but to face them.
Sure, it be a heavy learning curve at first (learning to be selfless and what not for the sake of the cult), but eventually he'd be a pretty decent leader. His favorite days are when the whole cult (also known as his "community") would take one big break and not work at all, but he also enjoyed the days where everyone would hand him gold and/or do all the work for him. Because man does he hate having to do hard work. And yes, he's still the greedy, money loving guy we all know and love.
He'd often have Max be the one looking over the "community" when ever he leaves. Max would also probably be the tax collector and such considering he was the first follower and is the most loyal. Him and Max are close.
I can also see Louie marring many people, for tax purposes of course.
But what about the other 2? What would happen if they were given the crown instead?
Well, the sacrifice process may as well go the same. Oswald kid still takes Ratau place, Max still being the first follower and being loyal beyond belief, but that's likely where the similarities would end.
Dewey, being the prideful and adventures guy he is, would absolutely LOVE crusades. Sure, he'd love his cult and would enjoy being around them, but he would be nowhere NEAR where Louie would be in growth in the same time frame. He'd spend far to much time doing crusades and fighting monsters or even the bishops. Tbh I can see him taking out the most amount of bishops in the shortest amount of time out of all his brothers (with Louie taking the longest).
He'd probably come back to a hungry, angry followers because he'd be gone so long thanks to his crusades, which would inevitably lead to a LOT of damage control after. Would he ever learn? Probably not.
That's basically all I got for now, still a lot of stuff to work through and think about, but it's a neat idea that's been plaguing my mind for the past few days.
Huey on the other hand would spend an equal amount of time on crusades and with his cult. He'd most likely have everything under control from the get go. Plus, he now has a healthy way of letting out "The Duke of Messes" via crusades. Occasionally he'd have to preform damage control, especially with any new stubborn followers, but for the most part everyone is happy and capable of functioning orderly with or without him (mostly due to his schedules). Let's be honest, he's just glad people are finally listening to him.
His cult would probably embrace nature to it's finest, tents and all. It would probably be more put together and more advance then Dewey in most regards, but not nearly as advanced as Louie.
In other words: Louie is basically running a really weird town, Huey is running a camp, and Dewey is uh- doing his best.

Tell me about your ducks.
(Duck Tales keeps coming up in conversations and I know nothing about it. Please educate me.)
oooooooo okay.
So anyways, because I’m uncultured I’ve only seen the reboot, so I’m sorry it that isn’t helpful. It’s my silly little comfort show though. Basically, ducktales is a show about ducks going on adventures and becoming a found family, even though most of them are related.
It all starts when Donald (who is father of the year btw.) needs someone to babysit the color coded triplets (Huey, Dewey, and Louie). So, he drops them off at mcduck manor to meet Mr. Capitalism man (Scrooge) Now, Scrooge and Donald haven’t been talking for the last ten years. The reason why has to do with Donald’s twin sister Della and the spear of Selene, which is the on going mystery of season one. Scoots does not want to deal with three kids, so he puts them in a room with only marbles for entertainment. They sneak out and are captured by my blorbo Webby not Hatchetfield. Webby is a super fan of Scrooge and the rest of their family, and she lives in the mansion with her British grandmother Mrs. Beakley (she’s an ex spy btw) Anyways, the four of them go mess around with shit in the garage and accidentally awaken a dragon. Now, the kids and Scrooge gotta defeat it. A normal caretaker would be upset with them, but this is the push Mr. Capitalism needing to start liking kids again.
I’ve realized that was just an episode 1 summary, so if you wanna know about other characters or things that come up in other episodes, feel free to ask. Also, why does ducktales keep coming up in your conversations?

I'll be honest: straight couples are BORING.
Lena and Louie? Webby and Dewey? Huey and Violet?
You ship them only because they are similar in character and that is literally the ONLY reason these ships exist.
Della and the Launch Pad? The main reason for their shipping is that they are pilots.
Daisy and Donald are good, they have slight similarities, their dynamics are so sweet and comfortable. I believe in their relationship.
Scrooge and Goldie too, they have a connection, there's a spark, there's potential (although I don't like this ship, and neither do Dongzi, but hey, they're not bad).
Webby and Dewey could be good, but their dynamics are too similar to siblings. Don't even think about trying, all the arguments are against you.
Lena and Louie could too, but the only thing that connects them is the emo phase. And it's not a fact that Louis will be the emo of the triplets, maybe it will be Huey. And don't forget that they are actually the opposite of each other. Louis accepts his "villainous potential" and is not afraid to be violent. But he's still a child, so he needs to learn how to set boundaries for others and, more importantly, for himself (for example, the very episode that made Della wildly hated). Lena, on the contrary, denies self-doubt and being with Louie, who so calmly turns out schemes, can be stressful for her or at least she will be uncomfortable. Seriously, do you remember the episode where the duck room + Were Violet in a shared dream? It was literally pointed out to us that she was afraid of being a villain. Yes, she accepted herself and became completely independent of Magic, but still, Louis and Lena's relationship has no potential.
Violet and Huey... Maybe they have potential and I'm just getting to them... But their interaction was only when they were competing, and it wasn't a pleasant interaction for a potential couple. They're only being bullied because they're nerds. And that's the only reason their characters are practically incompatible.
According to the logic of Violet and Huey's shipers, Huey and Webby can be shiped for the same reason, because they are also nerds.
And this also applies to Louie and Webby. They're shown as siblings all the time! There's a whole series where they're literally like Donald and Della, if Donald were more cunning and Della was more in-depth about various "horrors."
_____
Okay, I got carried away, but I'm just tired of being silent.
Despite my burning ass, you don't have to listen to me if you like any of these ships. Do you like it? Ship it!
I'm sure someone doesn't like my favorite ships like the Three Caballeros, McGlomgold, Santa and Scrooge, DonPete and so on.

Trigger warning: character deaths
It was the night after my 9th birthday celebration when it happened. Mom tucked me into bed, and Dad kissed me on the forehead before they both left to go downstairs. They work until late at night doing work I'm not allowed to see. I'm used to having to wake them up to take me to school. At around 10 o'clock at night, I heard my parents screaming loudly from downstairs, waking me up. I stay in my room for a few minutes, pacing back and forth trying to gather the courage to go downstairs.
But, because of my cowardice, by the time I made my way downstairs, they were already dead and their killer was gone. I screamed, staring at the people who, only hours ago, had been smiling at me as I blew out the candles on my cake and kissed me on the forehead. I ran to the landline phone, calling the police. We couldn't afford much better than a landline phone. In fact, we couldn't afford much at all. My parents had been saving up for years before they finally bought our house just a few months ago.
The police showed up a few minutes later, one comforting me as I just sobbed, telling her what happened. After writing it all down, she took me to the police station on the other side of town. I just sat on the couch in their break room, hugging a stuffed animal I'd been given. The cop lady that took my statement handed me a water bottle before sitting next to me, and I read the name on her badge that hung around her neck; Officer Cabrera.
She asked me if I had any other family I could stay with, but I don't. My parents were the only family I had. She offered to let me stay at her home with her son, but I didn't want to. The only place I wanted to be was at home with my parents. I ended up falling asleep on that couch, spending the night there. After several days, they had no leads on my parents' killer, and the trail went cold. He got away.
After the funeral, I got approached by someone from Child Protective Services. They wanted to take me away and place me with a family I didn't know. They wanted to take me away from Duckburg, the only place I've ever lived! I screamed at them that I didn't want to go with them and ran, not thinking about the consequences. I ran and ran and ran until my legs gave out and there was no one behind me. I ended up in a park, one that my parents had taken me to on occasion. I collapsed against the building with the bathroom and showers.
I curled up, hugging knees against my chest and sobbing. I sobbed until I had no more tears and the moon was rising in the sky. My stomach growled, but I had no food to eat. I realized just then that I had no money to get food. I screwed myself over, but it was too late to go back. I can't go back to Officer Cabrera either; she offered me a place to stay and I refused. I doubt she'd let me take her offer now. I can't go home yet, either. It would be too hard to go back there without them.
After that, I started stealing food from grocery stores, hiding what I took in my backpack and eating when I get back to the park. I fill up my water bottle from the water fountain and use the bathroom and shower here at the park.

One more sample of part 8
So, I was waiting for my family and I said, let's write some more. I knew that I wanted something with the gang in Duckburg, and I always like to use the whole group. So, hockey will do.
And then, the story turned in a way I liked, but I wasn't really expecting. And so, here's a sample of Duck's Life part 8, Everyday Cronics. There're some elements of parts 5 and 6, but don't mind that.
Gos couldn't believe it. They had lost. The best hockey team she had assembled, and they lost in their League debut. How was it possible?
The girl was furious. The triplets had made too many mistakes, B.O.Y.D. wasn't enough to stop the rivals.
Maybe this wouldn't have happened if all the other kids hadn't quit the team. With the triplets being natural born adventurers and B.O.Y.D. having special abilities, they were the only ones who could keep up with the redhead's training pace. Everyone else accused her of being too intense and left the team.
Due to the lack of players, Violet, Lena and Webby joined the team. Violet was the one who played in the debut. Lena and Webby didn't enter, they weren't ready.
The dressing room was a tomb. Gos punched one of the lockers in frustration. Dewey tried to calm her down.
- Calm down Gos. It's not your fault. We'll do better in the next game.
- It's true, it's not my fault. It's Louie's.
- WHAT?!
The accused screamed immediately.
- Every time you had the puck, you passed it to Violet. What are you trying to do? Ingratiate yourself with her to get on good terms with Lena?
- Hey! - Lena complained.
- Every time I passed it to Violet it was because no one marked her! She tried to score every time! Damn, she scored our only goal! What else do you want!?
- I want you to pass it on to anyone other than Violet! I want you to play with me! I want you to stop thinking about Lena and focus in the game!
- That's it, I'm going to smack you down.
Lena walked up to Gosalyn, but Webby stepped in, stopping her. Gos tried to move, but Dewey stopped her. Violet tried to calm things down.
- Please, let's calm down. Gosalyn, I know that I don't have the level to be a starter on the team, but blaming your teammates and friends, I must add, is not going to make our situation better.
- Violet is right, - Huey intervened - there is no reason to get hysterical.
- Maybe you need a little hysteria. - Gos said, in an accusatory tone.
- What do you mean?
- What I mean is that our goalkeeper doesn't have a bit of emotion. Five goals they scored on you! And you didn't even shout!
- Did you want me to shout? Then I should have yelled at you for losing the puck so many times.
- What?
- It's true Gos. - B.O.Y.D. added - You lost several pucks, which led to three opposing goals.
Gos didn't know what to say.
- Please stop fighting. - Webby asked.
Gosalyn went to her locker and grabbed her bag, ready to leave.
- I hope you stop been such a jerk now.
Lena striked.
Gos dropped his bag and jumped at the sorceress. The fight didn't last long, as everyone else rushed to separate them. Gosalyn was out of her mind.
- I'm sick and tired of your attitude! Maybe if you tried harder in our trainings, you could stop been so useless!
-And maybe if you stopped being such an arrogant damn boss you would realize that I hate hockey!
Gos was speechless.
- That's right! I hate hockey! I only agree to play because you asked me to! But now I understand why you had no team or friends in St. Canard! It's because no one can stand you!
A dead silence filled the room.
Gosalyn took her bag and used the amulet Lena gave her to open a portal to her house. The girl was going to enter when she felt a hand on her.
Webby ran to stop Gos.
- Wait Gosalyn, let's talk about...
Webby stopped dead. When Gos turned around, everyone saw the big tears falling from her eyes.
The redhead broke free of her grip and tore the necklace with the amulet from her neck. Gos tossed it to Lena before entering the portal.
The kids got mad.
