Hey there, I'm actually not comfy with it, but I just realized that I could write something where the reader has had a lot of alcohol.. i can write abt a drunk reader, but not the other kind of high...my dumbass didn't register that you prolly meant alcohol when u said high.. that's why this took so long, lol...

Dazai x gn!drunk! Reader

You stumbled to the counter, asking the bartender for another glass. What were you drinking again? You had no memory of what the liquid you have been downing for the past hour is. Nor do you know how many glasses you have had. But the zing of alcohol flowing through your veins felt so good. You felt lighter, better and happier. You didn't want to go back to being mature an thoughtful. You enjoyed this immature, careless version of you; a version that only alcohol can bring forth.

A hand wraps itself around your wrist as you're about to chug from the freshly filled glass. You squint up at the owner of said hand, trying to see who it is. The lights of the pub cast a shadow on the person's face. You tried to pull away, only to be trapped in the person's arms and be pulled away from the counter. You whine, trying to kick your assailant.

"Calm down, mushroom, it's me."

This voice. You know it from somewhere.

"Who are you?", you question, still trying to focus your hazy vision.

The person sighs, handing you a glass of water.

"Drink up."

You push it away, swatting it.

"Do you really think I'm d- dumb? Wh-why would I drink something from...a..*hicup* stranger?"

The person sighs again, forcing you to hold the glass.

"Because I'm not a stranger. I'm Dazai. You call me Osamu..?"

You furrow your brows, trying to remember. He smiles at your confused state, gently nudging you to drink the water. In the haze and confusion, you drink the water. It did little to sober you, but it had some effect.

You looked at him with big eyes.

"You're Osa?"

He nodded his head, swiftly guiding you out of the noisy place.

"Like, my Osamu?"

He blushed at your words, keeping his eyes focused ahead to prevent you from noticing.

"Yup."

You stumble a little, and sit on the ground.

"Whoa, hold on, let me help you."

Dazai picks you up, but you start thrashing against him.

"I want a drink!"

He tries to keep you still.

"No, you've had enough."

You keep whining and kicking. He gets fed up and throws you over his shoulder.

"Eep!"

You stop moving as he carries you. You watch his butt as it moves while he's walking.

"Yo, you got a fine ass, my man!"

Dazai's step falters; he tries to get home as quickly as possible.

"But it's unfortunate that I can't have it. I have a boyfriend, you see. He's really handsome. I want to hold him. I want to bite his cheek. He's so adorable, I can't help but want to eat him!"

He chuckles at your ramblings. It is true. You have bit his cheek multiple times. It's not sexual, either. You think he's very cute, and find him adorable. Your love for him suddenly spikes at times, and you find him so cute, that you feel like eating him.

Reaching the building, Dazai opts to take the stairs, as he doesn't want to let anyone else see you in this state. He doesn't mind anyone seeing you like this; he finds you adorable when zonked. But he knows that you hate it, and that you will kill him in the morning if someone happened to be in the lift with you two.

"Wee! Wee! Wee! Wee!" You squealed at each step, enjoying the jerk.

On entering the place, he sat you down on the couch, and got on his knees to remove your shoes.

"Please don't ask me to marry you! I said I have a boyfriend!"

"I'm not asking you to marry me, darling."

Dazai said.

"Atleast not today.. "

"What was that?"

"Nothing!"

He was about to get up when you suddenly held his face in your hands.

"Osamu! Hi! Where were you!? I missed you!"

You crashed your lips on his.

He pushed you away, and smiled.

"Not now, love. When you're sober, maybe I'll indulge in this."

You whined, pulling at his tie.

"Pleaseeeeee?? Pretty pleaseee??"

He picked you up, carrying you to his room bridal style.

"Yay!"

"Don't get ahead of yourself, I'm only helping you get to the bed to sleep."

You kissed his neck, trying to convince him.

He gently placed you on the bed, prying your arms off his neck, and helping you into your pajamas.

"You didn't even try to sneak a touch at me..."

You say, when you were done changing.

"As I said, love, not now. When you're sober."

He kissed your forehead, and was about to say good night, when he heard your soft snores.
