top five 15th doctor moments is the fear in his eyes when he thinks he's being caught for finding a man beautiful. ncuti gatwa the man that you are. actually just the twisted peacefulness in the domestic life of John Smith and Belinda Chandra (I'm not calling her Smith because . no) fucks me up so bad. they don't sleep facing each other. hes drinking at nights when shes sleeping, being woken up from a comphet nightmare of repression by his long forgotten gay lover, who is interrupting the constant propaganda streaming through everyone's homes. Belinda Chandra (whose first episode involved emphasis on a man asking if she was married, and referring to her based on such information) is forced into a marriage with a man who cant love her, with a daughter that isn't hers, that she cant remember, without the job that she loves. this is a miserable life for everyone involved, and they all know that. it reminds me a lot of couples who should be divorced but they stay together for their child. the sad part is that Poppy isn't even their kid.

i could also say more about how Shirley and Ruby call Conrad "god" and how everyone is being forced to conform to the acceptable faith of this society and any doubt of said faith results in being jailed but I'd need to do more research on that kind of thing.
