LEVI IS A SMART COOKIE — HEADCANONS (AND APPRECIATION?)

🐟 Let’s start stating the obvious: he is hella smart. He’s an Admiral, he had to study and work hard for it! He might be shy and socially awkward, but we can’t invalidate his entire personality just because he actually says “ROFL” out loud. A person (or demon, in this case) can be goofy and smart — one doesn’t cancel out the other.
🐟 That settled, here is what I think about it:
🐟 From strongest to weakest (and to make things easier), I’d rank his intelligences: visual-spatial, logical-mathematical, verbal-linguistic, naturalistic, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, intrapersonal and interpersonal.
🪸 Visual-spatial: he needs to be good at it if he’s gonna navigate. He barely leaves his room, but he’s got the whole Devildom mapped out in his head. He can walk blindfolded and still be able to arrive at RAD or anywhere he needs to go.
🪸 Logical-mathematical: he has an insanely good strategic mind. You think he’s an Admiral just because he’s one of the Seven Lords? He’s got serious skills in what he does, or it wouldn’t have worked out.
🪸 Verbal-linguistic: he might have a hard time speaking to new people, but he has good communication once he trusts you enough. He can be assertive when he needs to and, again, he has to be able to communicate when he’s commanding his crew. And he’s a really good writer.
🪸 Naturalistic: he loves animals! He looked at a giant snake and decided it was a good friend. He has Henry 2.0 for who knows how long and he takes such good care of him. For me, he loves the ocean, from both the Human and the Demon World. He is a sea serpent demon, so he can swim with all sorts of creatures, learning about them along the way. Sometimes, he even feels a connection to those deep-sea dwellers — living in the dark, solitary depths. (you’re welcome for the angst thought)
🪸 Bodily-kinesthetic: he has good coordination and no one can convince me otherwise. He likes to learn the choreographies of his favorite idols. I think he can learn it pretty fast, and he can teach it easily if you want to learn it too. Now you can dance together and it’s wholesome. Not to mention, he still is a demon and #3 in their power rank. He didn’t get that number randomly. Also, he can sew his own cosplays; he needs good coordination for sewing.
🪸 Musical: he learned about music for his pleasure. He is good at listening to the slight change in rhythm, so he knows exactly when to do a certain move when he’s dancing and all the cues when he’s singing. He will annoy you if you sing it 0.02 seconds earlier. He can play the keyboard and probably the drums.
🪸 Intrapersonal: his self-esteem is not good (we just need to help him a little), but I think he has a deep comprehension of himself. He knows what he likes and dislikes, how he’ll react when something happens and how to deal with his own outbursts. Understanding and putting it into practice, however, aren’t always the same, and that’s where emotions take the lead (hence why it’s intelligence #7). That’s when he summons Lotan.

Representational systems are the unique ways in which your brain perceives and interprets the world around you. These systems help us understand how we process information, and they play a huge role in how we learn, think, and express ourselves. And yes, also how we can most easily manifest or reprogram the unconscious mind.
Why is understanding your representational system important?
Boost Learning: Identifying your dominant style can help you tailor your study methods to match your preferred way of learning.
Effective Communication: Recognizing the styles of others allows you to communicate more effectively by adapting your language and approach.
Manifesting: Instead of trying every new method that comes along, find the best method that works for your unique style.
The four primary representational systems:
Visual
Visual learners grasp information best through images, graphs, and visual aids. They learn easily through pictures, watching videos, or seeing someone else do it.
They often use words like "I see what you mean" or "That looks good to me."
Visual style methods: Vision boards, visualization, watching videos
Auditory
Auditory learners learn best through hearing and listening, and might love music.
They may say things like "That sounds good" or "I hear what you're saying."
Auditory methods: Audio affirmations, subliminals, guided meditations
Kinesthetic
Kinesthetic learners prefer hands-on experiences and physical activities. They might not want to still, and just want to try something themselves instead of watching someone else do it.
You'll hear them say, "I need to get a feel for this" or "Let me try it."

Auditory-Digital (Self-talk)
Auditory-digital learners excel in logical thinking, reasoning, and analyzing information. They often love to read, and talk out their thoughts in their heads or through writing.
They might use phrases like "It makes sense to me" or "I think…"
Auditory-Digital techniques: Affirmations, robotic affirming, writing/scripting
Now, here’s the key: everyone has access to all these processing styles (plus a few others!). Most of us just prefer one or two, and have several systems that are underdeveloped. You can always strengthen an underdeveloped system with practice. But for the fastest results, use the methods that work best for your current strengths.
Personally, my strongest system is Auditory-Digital, but I’m also an Auditory and Kinesthetic learner. (I used to not be able to visualize at all, but have improved my ability over the years.) So my favorite manifesting methods are affirming, tapping, and scripting, and I blend all three. I like to script my own affirmations and vaunts, write them on sticky notes, affirm out loud or in my head, listen to affirmation tapes and subliminals, do full-body tapping and qi gong, affirming while tapping, etc etc.

What are your fastest orginal quirks? I've seen the weirdest list, Creepiest list and the strongest list(For all quirk types too) you did?
Best quirks you've made for mobility? To the level of something like Flight (In the air) or Blackwhip (On land)?
Do you have any quirks based on speed? Or that emphasize on it?
Do you have any ideas for super speed quirks? I remember vigilantes saying that a super speed quirk of num 6 caliber is rare. So I was wondering I'd you have another idea for a high speed quirk
For the sake of this, I'm covering more of the speed, agility, and overall mobility of the Quirks. Things like "Swap", "Besmoked", and "Umbraize" all give the user unique mobility options, but I wouldn't exactly consider them for the list. I also won't cover general enhancement Quirks, like "Repose", or Quirks that deal with reaction time, like "Timer". Expresso: If we're talking purely speed, this would be pretty high up there. While it doesn't have any unique movement options, it does making the user immensely fast. All they need is a good cup of joe to make them a speed demon, but that's pretty true to life. Kinesthetic: While it may not be the fastest Quirk in terms of speed, it does help the user get around much faster in terms of agility and maneuverability. Less outpacing everyone on the track team and more styling on everyone in gymnastics with sick flips. Light Dash: Not only does this let the user move and jump at high speeds, but they get to leave behind a sick trail of light wherever they are moving. If nothing else, it certainly gets style points for the visual flair. We all know that stuff like that makes things faster.
Hook Line: While this can be limited by the user’s skill, it can give them a lot of speed and movement options if they use it right. Either by pulling themselves to something, swinging around from place to place, or combining it with other tools like a wing suit. Flow Motion: If you want something more centered around combat, this might be one of the better ones. Not only does it enhance the user's speed, but the speed of anything else they are moving, such as a throwing ball or shoving someone really hard.
Wheelie: Again, this is doesn't add any new movement options, unless the user gets really creative with what they have, but it does give them a lot of speed to work with. You’re basically moving around at high speeds with the power of super roller blades.
Thruster: Who would have guess the Quirk that gives you a rocket instead of legs would be so fast? It let's the user fly around like a rocket, giving them some amazing flying speed, but that speed is a double edge sword since the user's doesn't much protection while moving. Dragonfly: Have you ever seen how fast a dragonfly can move? Now imagine that scale up to the level of a Quirk. Yeah, it would be pretty fast, granting the user amazing speed and rapid flight that they can easily handle and maneuver with their greater senses. Bright Flight: This is one of the more reliable options. It makes the user pretty fast and gives them the ability to fly. All they need is to watch where they are going and get some sun every day. And again, it gets some style points for the rainbow trail. Arrowhead: This one is certainly more varied of the choices, both in terms of what mobility is offer and who is can be used on. All the user really needs is a surface to put the arrows on and they launch people and objects alike. Turn the world into your speed pads.

HONGJOONG:
king of self-care! but studies for 15 minutes then take a 2 hour break and calls it self-care (omg he thinks he’s me or smth)
has power naps every single day at least 30 mins because he’s Stressed
always thinking of ways to drop out during the middle of lectures
that one kid that talks to nobody & sits at the back of the class with his hood on to hide his airpods
doesn’t do it anymore bc one time it disconnected and “there’s some whores in this house” blasted out loud & now he’s paranoid
shows up to group studies but lets the group carry him,,, but he puts out One Really good idea to get his name on the paper
only cares about topics he’s interested in, other than that he’s just astral projecting
“yo can you send me your answers so i can compare mine?” but he copies it and says “we got the same answers” (all men do is lie</3)
calculates his marks; “ok so i need at least a 80 on this...oh wait no, a 95...damn okay...”

strongest points are his guessing skills in multiple-choice questions (process of elimination ftw!)

has the cutest note ever, his handwriting is so pretty!!
he thinks that buying an ipad pro & apple pencil will make him smarter

has to wear blue ray glasses because of how he looks at a screen so much
mildliners, muji 0.38 gel pen, 6 ring binder, minimal planner, washi tapes, you name it! he visits muji and daiso every other week
buys wayyy too many planners and notebooks which he never ends up using

his flaw is that he spends 10 mins writing his header with brush tip pens

actually has a working printer that he uses pretty often to prints lessons before class just to be Extra prepare

uses wide-ruled paper (unfortunately not everyone is perfect</3)
starts off very positive, motivated, and organized
then everything goes downhill by the second week
will definitely set byeol on top of his keyboard, take a picture, and send it to his professor as an ‘excuse’ as why he needs an extension (it works)
can’t sit still for any longer than 30 mins, his legs are always bouncing or fidgeting with pen
flashcard king! spends a lot of time on them but it’s worth it
a utensil chewer (always willing to share his pencil but when ppl saw the bite marks they’re like No Thanks >_>)
can’t study well with groups or himself bc he’ll be distracted,,, so he needs one person that can ground him bc when they’re in the zone, he will too be on his x game mode
sends his assignment at 11:58 pm hoping his professor will take the Hint (plz don’t be afraid to ask for help u_u)
prefers listening to ghibli studio soundtracks but then he either gets emotional or sleepy
sometimes forget to mute his mic and we just hear him groaning in frustration

the only person that studies every single day just to get his brain used to the information and running

never pulls all-nighters bc it messes up his sleep schedule and says he’ll do it in the morning but he never does
doesn’t even own a highlighter, he’ll circle or underline stuff with a red or black pen
has never touched a textbook in his life
only the study guides and slides, his textbook is collecting dust rn
his notes are literally Only for him because his handwriting only makes sense to him
has questionable handwriting,,, it’s like decoding
multitasks a lot but it ends up taking a lot longer than he wanted to (bc it’s a myth)

modern era feuilly hcs:
-he dropped out of college after the second year because whereas feuilly IS smart, he has a lot of trouble learning in school. he's a visual learner and a kinesthetic learner and none of his professors' lectures did him any good. it was too expensive for him to keep going if all it did was depress him, so he decided he'd be better off without a degree
-his work schedule is not very consistent because he works on a construction crew, but when he can he likes to have lunch with his other friends, even his fancy lawyer friends. you can catch him outside with courfeyrac in nice clothing and neat hair as feuilly is in his sweat-stained uniform with his skin and hair turned grey from concrete dust
-working construction has given him the strongest arms. oh my god. he's so good at arm wrestling. he has... biceps. huge biceps. oh my god when he flexes, even straight men will swoon. it's insane. oh my god. oh my go-
-he also has the worst diet ever because of spotty income. most nights, he grabs döner on the way home and take-out is his saviour. once a month he tells himself he's gonna reinvent his diet and then gives up the next day. cooking is exhausting when you're doing physical work all day
-HOWEVER, his ball python has the best diet a snake could ask for. belle eats only the freshest of foods, drinks only the cleanest of water, her tank is always clean and well-stocked to be entertaining and safe for snakes. feuilly loves that snake more than life itself. he takes her out of her tank and presses a kiss to the top of her head every morning before work
-feuilly also really loves documentaries. he prefers them to movies, really. anytime he can find a series on history or nature or anthropology, he gets super excited. most of his nights are spent eating dinner on his couch and continuing whatever episode or minute count he left off on the night previously. he's always excited to learn something new, especially if he knows nothing else on the topic. the visuals really help him pay attention and take in information, so he can actually learn things unlike in school. at the moment, he's enjoying a documentary on real-life historical pirates
-despite his exhausting schedule, feuilly always volunteers first to help enjolras with whatever cause they're doing. he's really good at navigating spreadsheets and helps log information as well as pitching them slogan ideas, means of making change, and new projects that they might not have thought of before. because of how intimately familiar he is with real lower-class communities, he knows local services and drives they can assist
-he also really loves video games. he still owns the console he bought when he was thirteen after mowing lawns for a year and invites bahorel over on weekends so they can play through old games from their childhood and see how quickly they can finish levels of super mario 64 or ocarina of time. video games were his saviour when he was a lonely kid with no permanent home or family, so even when he's an adult the idea of being able to kick back and boot up his old console makes him grin
-every year he goes to a week-long metal music festival. it's the highlight of his life every single time. he'll return to his hotel room for the night hacking up dirt because of how long he spent in a mosh pit. sometimes he'll take bahorel or grantaire, but neither of them have the energy to last all week. feuilly loves it, he thinks it's a great community with even greater music. dont even try making plans with him that week, he'll leave you in the fucking DUST to go to his musical festival. he'd go if he was terminally ill. it's when he feels the most alive

15. What is the fanfic you’ve written that you’re most proud of? 
ah;;; I'm not sure, from the ones that I posted, I'd probably say 5 Minutes
while I'd rather stay really far away from the Be More Chill fandom, every time I see statistics on my fics from it, get comments, etc.,,, it's just. it reminds me of a few happy things. I'm not proud of being in the fandom for a few reasons, but again. it was really pleasing to write — iirc I might've even almost submitted it for an English assignment? but then decided against it in favour for another fic
39. What area of writing do you feel strongest in?
definitely my descriptions, but at the same time, along with dialogue it's one of my weakest areas
I'm a very visual and kinesthetic learner (more of the former, though) — I've had several teachers & people in general say in the past that I'm very well worded in both English and French, so I guess,,, I'm not sure if this makes sense, but part of the reason why I feel strongly about my descriptions is both because of how visual I can be & the feedback that I've gotten in the past
going back to being both weak and strong in that area, I'm strong in it because of being visual and just. believing what some people have said (though this is a matter of opinions, ofc) that some of the best writing is because of descriptions. personally, I tend to enjoy a book more if I can visualize the entire scene, even if it's just a few words, and that's what I try to put into my writing
people like knowledge, you just have to know how to balance it, which I'm not sure if that makes sense, however, that's how it works for me

Expectations For The Year
My name is Emahni Tinsley, my hobbies include music, art, gardening, and doing hair. I vacationed in Honolulu, Hawaii when I was young and I have Hawaiian heritage as well as pacific islander. I am teaching myself how to play the piano as well as guitar as a main hobby. I plan to do my best in school and at home while this pandemic is occurring. 
As a teacher I would like you to keep this year as fun and as interesting as possible, Challenge everyone and help make students weaker areas their strongest, and push students to be the best they can be. Being the World Literature teacher, many students including me tend to think this class is boring or a waste, and I would like to see how you challenge and keep this year exciting.I want to be able to state your name in my senior speech as an amazing teacher. I would like to learn as much as possible, I don’t really have a specific topic. I do want to manage my time well when writing essays for the EOC as well as for other classes, including yours. I am an all around learner and I love to push myself to learn new ways for tackling challenges. I work best as a kinesthetic learner but due to COVID-19 that won’t be an option. Visual and Auditory I also work well with but I have always enjoyed hands-on learning the most. Finally, I would like to continue my straight A streak for the rest of my high school journey, expand my knowledge, and tackle my weak areas that i struggle with and make them just as strong as my other areas.

42: What’s their favorite location?
Briar:
18: Briar excels in Kinesthetic, and Naturalistic intelligence, as well they have pretty well developed interpersonal and rhythmic intelligence. They were an athlete in their youth, and have an encyclopedic knowledge of animals, and are generally affable and well liked. However, they are not given to thinking too deeply about things and get easily overwhelmed with the greater questions of life, so their struggle point would be existential and mathematical-logical intelligence.
42: Hmm, before the war they might have a place to say, but since they crawled out of the vault, nowhere really feels like home. Not yet, anyway. Sunshine tidings is pretty nice though.
Cherry:
18: Cherry's strongest forms of intelligence would be Visual-Spatial, Kinesthetic, and mathematical-logical intelligence. They are an explosives savant with a vivid imagination and a knack for invention... and a killer throwing arm. However, she has a blind side when it comes to exploring her inner world, and identifying her emotions and thought processes, so her struggle point would be interpersonal intelligence.
42: Since they got kicked from the vault? Little Lamplight. Also quite fond of her home in Megaton, until she had to leave that behind as well.
Genko:
18: Genko really excels in Interpersonal Intelligence, and can generally talk to just about anyone. They are pretty sharp by nature, and their implant and synth body increases their cognitive and physical abilities quite a bit, so they are good all-rounder. That said, back when they were a human, they struggled immensely with mathematical-logical intelligence, obviously, no longer a problem. That said, now that he is a synth there is a disconnect between his mind and body, and his deeper subconscious which has caused him to struggle with Intrapersonal Intelligence.
42: His bar, and where ever his friends are!
Logan:
18: Although he has a way with words and is well trained in manners, Logan is often unable to connect with others and sense their real motivations and moods, often resulting in bouts of paranoia. He is highly skilled in Verbal-Linguistic, Mathematical-Logical, and Rhythmic intelligence, but lacks in inter- and intra- personal intelligence.
42: His home. Despite everything, he still feels tied to it. Also, he seems to enjoy inflicting psychic damage on himself regularly.
Poe:
18: Poe is another sharp-cookie who's a pretty good all-rounder, that said; his primary skills are Mathematical-Logical and Naturalistic. He turns an old subway station into a hydroponics garden, and personal laboratory. That said, he is extremely unsocial, and similarly to Logan, given to paranoia. He's also not much a of a talker. His struggle points would be Interpersonal and Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence.

A key element to any class or course you take is to take good notes, as it is important that you build up a collection of references that you can use when you study for tests, want to make flashcards, or need to look back to your baseline information when preparing for an exam.
There is no ‘set’ way to make your notes, as everybody’s eyes enjoy a different visual layout. So the key to this is to ensure that you find a note-taking method that is efficient, practical, and ensures that you take in all of the information that you need when you look back on it. Here are a few tips to get you started!
Don’t just copy the textbook onto paper!
You’ve probably heard this from your teachers before, and it sounds stupid because isn’t that the whole POINT of taking notes? Well, no. Not exactly.
It’s proven that you remember things more effectively when you write them in your own words. Which makes sense, because your brain thinks in its own unique, funny way, and this is incomparable to the way anybody else's brain thinks. Including the fancy-pants professor who wrote your textbook. Whilst there are some key terms that you may have to quote the specific language for if you refer to them in a formal context such as a test or exam, large pieces of text can often be translated and simplified in a manner that allows you to take it in more efficiently. This is a very useful way to take notes, as it makes them more quotable to yourself later on when you’re trying to study a given topic.
Personally, my own notes are a combination of immediate references to the textbook- as with key terms it’s often useful to learn these how they are given to you- and my own wording of the rest of that chapter. I find this to be an effective way to memorise and improve my understanding of a topic.
Find out what your brain enjoys!
There are millions of different ways that people like to learn. You may have heard about different sub-types, such auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning. While you may assume that you can only take things down in words, there are actually a lot of different and interesting methods people enjoy using to make notes and to study them! Here are a couple to try:
Visual learning: This one probably isn’t a total revelation that has shaken you to the core, but people often skim past the pictures in the textbook and opt to just take down the textual content. However, taking time to google and draw out a summary diagram for the carbon cycle, or the organic mechanism for dehydration of ethanol might just prove to be a more effective way to help you remember it!
Auditory learning: If your ears and ability to recall the spoken word prove to be your strongest asset, you might find that listening and logging the information is a much easier way to digest it. There are looooads of YouTube channels that offer short summary videos on almost anything you could possibly imagine- I will link the page of my favourite study vloggers HERE for you to peruse. Additionally, talking openly and discussing the subject either with another person in a conversation, or by yourself with your phone to record and listen to later, could also help. Somebody once told me about how they recorded their summary notes and fell asleep with headphones in, listening to them on repeat at night. Each to his own, I guess, albeit that one is a little bit creepy. Aldous Huxley is turning in his grave.
A combination of both, and many other things: I find that I personally enjoy a lot of different ways of taking in information, so I use a lot of different methods to ensure that my brain is well-stimulated and taking in the information as best as it can. Reading the textbook, copying useful fragments of text down, discussing the topic with my friends, drawing up summary posters, amongst other things are all techniques that I find useful when I take notes. Often it is best to use a couple of different methods, especially those that replicate what you’ll need to do and the skills you will need to have for your exams.
Highlighting!
There has been a real trend recently regarding making your notes look pretty and colourful by using highlighters. And yes, I’ve jumped onto that bandwagon myself, and through doing so I’ve actually discovered a few very important things to consider when you highlight your notes.
Firstly, don’t highlight the entire page, Nancy... What’s the point in highlighting the ‘important’ bits in the first place if you’re just going to colour the whole block of text with your pastel pink Stabilo marker? Pick out the REAL important parts- the key terms your teacher has told you to remember, the explanations that you’ve been struggling to recall. Highlighting should allow you to look at the page and for your eyes to be instantly drawn to the stand-out pieces of information. So make sure that you make future-you’s job as simple as possible when they look back to the notes you’re making to revise for that upcoming exam.
On a less negative note, another thing to play around with is to use a colour-coordination system so that each different TYPE of information has a different colour to help you pick out the most important bits. I find this to be particularly helpful in subjects where you need to annotate something- for me, this is my Music A-Level. I use different coloured pens and highlighters for different types of points- e.g. green for melody, orange for rhythm/metre, purple for harmony/tonality. This means that when you go back to pick out essay points, you can skim the page for the according colour to what it is you want to write about. It’s very handy.
Read outside your textbooks!
Don’t think that you’re limited to just the information your teacher and textbook supply you with. Your notes should be a collection of cohesive and understandable explanations of the content you learn- and a good way to improve your understanding of what you’re studying is to explore the interpretations given in other textbooks, journals, and written works. They are easily accessible online (not that I’m trying to promote PIRACY or anything... but you can usually find a dodgy PDF somewhere if you dig around) or even in your school/local library. Alternative sources are a great way of building up different perspectives to put in answer banks for any essay subjects, or for exploring different explanations of any scientific content you may be learning in STEM subjects.
